Harper was happy with working at the cafe. Her past wasn't known around here, so she could be herself. Be happy. She did find herself happy. No one judged her. No one bullied her. She was just a normal person.

She didn't have to hide her...whatever it was that caused her issues back home.

Though the feeling of letting go of the feelings still remained inside her. She was freed here.

She did miss her parents though.

"Hey Harper." She looked up and saw Caden with some of his friends. She smiled. "Hey there. You dining in?" She asked. He smiled and nodded. "Yeah. Make sure you come over, ok?" He asked her.

She smiled at them.

She walked them to a booth. "How are you liking the job?" Caden asked. "I like it. I get to learn to bake and cook. Make drinks. And waitress. Everyone treats me really well." Harper told him. He smiled, happy seeing her so happy.

The group sat down, and she looked at everyone. "I will be right back." She told them and walked away from the table. She came over with the menus. There was a list of the baked goods, soups, tiny sandwiches, and drinks they had.

"Here you go." She told them as she laid the plates and bowls down. She smiled and started walking away. She heard Caden call her name as he went over to her. She stopped and looked at him.

"Hey. Um. I just wanted to warn you about my dad. I don't think you should get close to him. He's dangerous. And I don't want you to be safe." He told the girl. He has grown to care about her as a little sister.

She was someone he wanted to protect. Even from his own blood.

"It's not like I'm purposely around him. He just seems to appear." Harper told him. "Well still. Just don't get to close to him. I don't want you to be hurt." He told her. She gave him a smile. "I understand Caden. Thank you for caring enough to warn me." She told him.

She wished that she had friends like him and Angelina back home. Maybe things would've been better back at home. She wouldn't have accidentally done what she had done and wouldn't have been seen as the devil's child.

The accidents? Either limited. Or never happens. She would've been happy.

Harper gave Cadin a hug before letting him go back to his friends, and she went back to work.

As Harper cleaned up before closing the shop with the others, she listened to music threw ear buds. She hummed along as she focused on wiping the chairs to put on the table as she was told to do after wiping the tables.

She didn't see the glowing eyes outside the window, watching her in the shadows. She looked up at a coworker who came up to her. The eyes watching narrowed watching this happen. She was smiling at the person talking to her, and the eyes didn't like how close the person was with Harper.

She nodded and put the chairs up on the table before handing everything to the coworker and went to go get her tips and clock out. After doing so, she headed to the truck she drove to work. She leaned against the door and texted John that she was going to grab a sandwich before heading back to the house.

She rubbed the back of her neck and stretched it around before getting into the truck.

Unaware of the eyes following her.

Harper got back into her room. She put her sub down and went to get a quick shower so she could go to sleep after eating. She was tired, it was a long day. She did like her job, but she will need to get a second. So, she can go back home and get a place of her own.

So, she could start over anew.

Conner made his way in threw the window of her room.

He looked around, he knew she was in the shower. So, he wouldn't be caught. He walked around the room. It smelt like her. He was drunk on it. His member grew hard just by smelling it. He went to the bathroom door that had steam behind it from her shower.

Her music muffled threw the door from her listening to it while she did what she was doing in the shower.

He placed a hand on the door. He wanted to go in and hold her.

Touch her skin. Feel her skin on his. Taste the water on her. Taste her. Fuck her. Claim her. She was his. It's set in stone already. She has no choice in that matter.

But right now it was to early. She wasn't willing yet. And he will only take her when she was willing. he will make sure she is willing.

She has no choice. She's his little red ridding hood. And he was her Big Bad Wolf
