"Why would he kill Mibu men? If not to declare war?"

Static filled the chamber.

"Apologies, my Lord." A deep breath. "Kyo doesn't discriminate between threats in his vicinity. He answers all violence in kind. We need more evidence…"

"I agree," Kyouichirou disregarded Tokito's impatient tch, "I know you understand him best, Kyoshiro. However, you must admit the situation does seem slightly suspicious."
