Olivia was tired already and it was only 10am, she was working until 8pm tonight. She hadn't seen Peter yet this morning as he had gone to his office and they don't need him yet. Olivia kept doing paperwork and had a chat with Fin. Amanda went to get them all some coffee's and they had a bit of a catch up in the office.
Peter appeared at lunchtime and pulled the office door shut going over to Olivia who was sitting in her chair and hugged her tightly... "Missed you..." he breathed into her hair and pulled back to look at his gorgeous partner. Olivia beamed and kissed him gently...
They stayed like this for a few minutes until Olivia remembered to ask how court had gone. Peter was pleased with the outcome and sank into a chair for a few minutes peace. Olivia went to fetch them some lunch and they sat quietly eating and gazing at each other.
Fin went to visit Elliot and Kathy, they arrived back in New York last week and they met at 11am and they sat having a cup of tea chatting. Elliot wanted to ask if Olivia was seeing anyone and if she did while he'd been gone but he had to wait for Kathy to leave.
Fin asked them what their plans were for the rest of her visit and Elliot took this as the opportunity to talk about Olivia as Kathy went outside on her phone... "Actually... I am going to go over and see Liv and make her have dinner later with me and just me. Fin says" Elliot no leave her she is working until 8pm tonight and then she is going home with her partner the man she loves the man she is in love with, Elliot walk away don't disrupt her life she got over you leaving and ignoring her just don't she is finally getting her happily ever after...". Elliot glanced at him in surprise... "I didn't know she was seeing anyone... it must be serious".
Silence.
Kathy came back with a glass of Prosecco for her and sat down next to Elliot. "Liv has a new partner... who is apparently the love of her life Elliot gritted out...".
Kathy smiled... "Oh that's great..." Elliot just looked at her shocked. The Olivia he knew belonged to him and only him she wants him no one else. He had no more words at the moment and just sat there. Fin and Kathy were catching up together laughing while he sat and thought about this news...
Peter and Olivia spent the afternoon making sure that the precinct was running smoothly and all paperwork was up to date.
As 8pm drew nearer and Olivia was handing over to the night shift they packed up their bags in her office and headed out to the car park, squeezing each others hand affectionately before getting into their separate cars to drive to Olivia's.
