Honestly, I don't know where I came up for the idea of this story. I think it was from a story I read and also binge watching one piece and I weird ass dream that this story was born. To be honest I could say this is somewhat of a crack fic with how Ace blew up. But also this is the reaction one does expect from him once he finds out his baby sister is getting married. So yeah, it's just my insane little mind running wild with me.

Chapter 5

Luffy pouted as she sat on her ship. She wasn't allowed to leave the Going Merry as Sanji and Usopp went to the small village to gather supplies and clothing they will need for the trip across the dessert and maybe a Camel if they could find one.

"Big Meanie Ace." Mumbled Luffy as she sat on her special seat as Zoro sat behind her as he kept an eye on her as Ace took a nap as he had a headache from the bombshell his baby sister had dropped on him.

'If only Sabo was alive, I wouldn't be handling all of this one my own. Maybe then we could have kicked Shanks ass together.' Thought Ace as he rubbed his temples once more as he looked up to where his sister sat pouting. "Pouting over there isn't helping you any Lu." He called to her.

"I don't care Ace. You're a big meanie poop head." Said Luffy as she turned and stuck her tongue out at him.

Nami and Vivi just giggled at their Captain's antics. "Oh Luffy. It will be alright. Once Shanks get's here. I'm sure Ace will see what you see in him.

"Fat chance." Said Ace as he crosses his arms over his chest. "All I want to do is set him on fire." He grumbled to himself.

"No setting anyone on fire." Said Nami looking over at Ace. "Shanks does really care for your sister. It was cute watching him trip all over himself when we saw him in Loguetown." She added with a giggle.

"To you it's cute. To me its an old bastard wanting to take Advantage of my innocent baby sister that doesn't know left from right." Said Ace as he wasn't liking how the only female on Luffy's crew was siding with Luffy and that red hair bastard.

Zoro for his part kept quiet. For it felt the witch can dig her own grave. He was more worried for his Captain. "Captain." He said in a soft voice.

Luffy turned and looked down at Zoro. "Huh?" She asked him in a quiet voice.

"Is this really what you want?" Asked Zoro looking Luffy dead in the eyes. He wanted to know if this was honestly what her heart wanted or if this was just a school girls crush.

Luffy softly smiled. "Yeah. It is. At first, I thought what I felt for Shanks was just a school girl's crush and that is why it took me until now to give him my answer. As I had to figure it out. Was it a crush or was I truly in love with him." She told him.

"Well?" Question Zoro.

"I do absolutely love him. My crush faded when I kissed him in Loguetown. That is when I knew. I knew I had deeper feelings for him. I just had to take the time to utterly understand how deep my feels went before I could tell him yes. Now I know I do love him. It's a feeling I feel deep within my heart that is hard to explain." Said Luffy looking at Zoro.

Zoro nodded his head. "That is all I needed to know Captain. I will back you as long as you need me to." He told her with a smile.

Luffy smiled and came down from her special seat to sit next to Zoro with her head on his shoulder as she yawned and closed her eyes for a nap. Zoro just smiled and fell asleep with his Captain.

Nami sighed. "Those two have a deeper bound then I'll ever have with her. He is the only one on the crew that can get her to open up when something is bothering her." Complained Nami as she watched her Captain and first mate talk and fall asleep.

Ace just watched them. "They have the same bound Luffy and I used to share. I kind of miss it." He said with a sigh as he closed his eyes as they waited the others to show up.

Noon

Luffy woke up to the smell of food as Sanji returned a little while ago but they figure they let their Captain sleep as she looked tried from all the stress from her brother placed on her.

"FOOD!" Said Luffy shooting to her feet as Zoro woke up.

"Yeah. Yeah, the love cook is back." Grumbled Zoro as he got up and followed his Captain into the gally.

"Luffy-chan your awake. I made a special lunch for you my dear Captain." Said Sanji as he danced around her.

Luffy's eyes lite up as she saw the meat kabobs. "Yay. Sanji you are the best." She Cheered hugging her chef.

Sanji passed out from Luffy pressed her chest against him from a massive nose bleed.

Ace just shook his head at the love cook's antics. "Do I really need to travel with you full time?" He question looking at the crew.

"No, Zoro does a pretty good job protecting Luffy from Sanji's love antics." Said Usopp as he was now eating and watching Chopper look over the cook.

Zoro yawns. "I take all the night watches to make sure nothing happens at night and if anyone tries anything." He said as he pat his swords.

Ace just grins nodding his head in approve of Zoro's methods.

Between bites Luffy looks over at the girls. "What did Sanji get us to wear?" She asked Nami.

Nami let out a sigh. "Dancer girl outfits." She said frowning. "They are beautiful outfits. But there not really made for the desert but we have to move the ship as well for Usopp spotted Smoker in town while they we're getting supplies." She said with another sigh.

Luffy frowns. "Do I really need to wear the outfit?" She asked Nami with the look of horror on her face.

Nami was going to tell her now before a smirk made it's way to her face. "Yes, you do." She told her Captain as Ace choked on his drink as he wasn't liking where this was going.

"Aww….But I'm already wearing shorts." Whined Luffy as she didn't want to put on the outfit Nami already had on.

"I think Luffy is fine in what she is wearing." Said Zoro before this could go any further and Ace have a heart attack.

"I agree." Said Ace as he was now glaring at the red head.

"Fine. Wear whatever you want Luffy." Said Nami annoyed her plan didn't go as how she wanted.

Luffy grinned as she was happy now to have to dress like a belly dancer.

As lunch was finished, they set sail down a river to go further down into the inland and hope the others would know to follow the same path as them as they couldn't wait forever for them.

"Ace we can't wait for them. We have to move. The more time we waste here. The more time that asshole has to destroy this country." Growled out Luffy glaring at her older brother.

"Fine let's go." Growled out Ace as they began their hike across the sand to the gambling town where the Warlord is known to set up his little shop.

Next time we will have a Shanks, Garp, Dragon, and Sabo coming to join in
