Pokemon Heroes: Latios & Latias Part 2
Sometime later, Mew and her friends arrive at the museum, and are amazed to see the structure.
"Cool!" Brock says.
"It looks amazing," Molly says.
"It looks more like a palace than a museum!" Mew says.
As the group admires the museum, the little robot peeks out and zooms in on Mew and her Pokemon. It also reveals that Annie and Oakley are spying on Mew.
"Well, I found the kid and that Pikachu and Eevee," Oakley says.
"Oh?" Annie replies.
"But it doesn't look like she's hanging out with Latias anymore. We need to keep it that way," Oakley says.
At the same time, Annie is seen blow drying her hair.
Back at the museum, the group enters the museum.
Jen notices a fossil, "Is this the fossil of a Pokémon?"
"You might say that. It's also a reminder of our past. These fossils are of Pokémon that once terrorized Alto Mare," The man says.
The man is somewhat of an elderly man with white hair and a mustache, tan skin, and has blue overalls and a red shirt.
"Wow!" Brock asks.
"So cool," Tomo says.
The man then says, "One was an Aerodactyl and the other was a…"
"Kabutops?" Misty guesses.
"That's right," The man says, "Come have a look over here. This is called the DMA. The Defense Mechanism of Alto Mare."
Brock soon looks up at a stained glass window and is amazed, "I have seen the light! I will definitely meet a girl in this town!"
"Just don't hold your breath," Misty says.
Then the man explains, "Long ago, the Aerodactyl and Kabutops were taught by an evil trainer to attack people. So everyone lived in fear until Latios came and brought water to the town, drowning the evil Pokémon and turning our streets into canals. That's when the town was named Alto Mare, which means High Sea. That's also when they built the DMA. They wanted to make sure that no one would ever disrupt their peace again. Fortunately, they never had to use it.
As the man talks, Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee turn to see Latias drawing a picture.
"It's just a sacred monu…" The man says.
"Wait a sec. It's her!" Mew says, walking past the DMA.
"Mew, are you okay?" Tomo asks.
"Um well, you see," Mere says, and turns to see Latias taking her leave.
Mew soon begins to follow.
But she turns to the man, "Thanks a lot for the tour, mister. It was really interesting. See you guys later!"
Everyone else is left baffled.
"Where's she going?" Misty asks.
"I don't know," Brock says.
"Me neither," Jen says.
Mew then hurries out of the museum and tries to follow the girl, thinking she is Latias.
Mew searches around, "Which way did she go?"
Mew then spots her, "There she is! Now's our chance. Come on, guys."
Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee quickly follow the girl. They run down the stairs and hurry down the street. She continues running across the city to find the girl.
Mew calls out, "Hey! Wait up!"
Unbeknownst to the three of them, Annie and Oakley are watching them.
Mew continues to follow the girl and accidentally bumps into the woman.
"Oh! Careful," The woman says.
"Sorry," Mew says.
Mew continues running across the town and soon, they find the girl.
Mew calls out, "Excuse me! Hey!"
Hearing Mew, the girl stops.
"Why'd you disappear like that before? Are you okay?" Mew calls out.
But the girl says, "I don't know you." and walks off.
"Huh?" Mew replies, confused.
Pikachu and Eevee are just as confused.
Mew then calls out, "Hey, wait!"
Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee continue following her, but quickly find themselves in a four way split. Mew and her Pokemon look around and are not sure which way the girl could have gone.
Soon, Mew finds a certain direction, "Let's try this way."
Mew and her friends head down the alley and reach another street. Sadly, they find nothing.
"Where is she?" Mew wonders.
"Pika." (Lost her.) Pikachu replies.
"Eevee Eevee," (And she acted weird.) Eevee says.
"You're right. Eevee. She acted like she had never seen me before," Mew says.
Soon, Pikachu spots something, "Pika!" (Look there!)
Sure enough, they finally find Latias.
"Oh, there you are!" Mew says. She then asks, "Are you okay? And why did you disappear like that?"
But Latias motions for them to follow her, so they do. The three continue following Latias down the path.
"Slow down, will you?!" Mew calls out.
The chase continues and Latias runs down a hedge path. They continue walking down the path. They soon find two Pidgey in a bird bath.
Eevee notices, "Eevee," (There she is.)
The group turns to see Latias is in front of the end of the street. Then Latias heads through a wall.
"What?" Mew questions.
Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee walk to the wall.
Eevee and Pikachu are the first to walk through the wall.
"Pikachu! Eevee!" Mew says.
Mew then goes through the wall herself.
Mew and her Pokemon soon walk through the wall and soon find a tunnel. They continue walking down the tunnel until they reach outside. They soon rush out and find a beautiful garden, inhabited by various Pokemon.
"This place is, amazing," Mew says.
They soon find Latias and follow her.
"Hey!" Mew calls out.
Mew and her Pokemon follow Latias and soon find her swinging on a swing.
"There you are," Mew says.
She walks to Latias and asks, "So, what is this place?"
But before they can approach her, they're stopped by some strange objects spinning around before the second invisible creature darts in and past before dashing straight at Mew and her Pokemon.
"Try and hit it!" Mew says.
Pikachu and Eevee fire their attacks, but the figure dodges and nails Pikachu and Eevee.
Mew runs over to them, "Pikachu! Eevee!"
"Pikachu!" (Where is it?!) Pikachu asks.
Eevee realizes, "Eevee!" (Here it comes!)
Mew turns to see something flying towards them. Mew uses her body to protect her Pokemon, but Latias stands in the way, forcing the Pokemon to reveal itself.
Mew looks to see a Pokemon with a birdlike body stylized after a plane. Its body flows slowly into a thick neck, giving it a bulky appearance. It has no legs, usually floating instead. Most of its body is blue, with white areas near its arms and a white stripe on its back that extend up to its head. Jet-plane wings sit on top of its back, while two tall, jagged fins point behind it from its rear. A red triangle marks the center of its chest, while a blue mask partially covers its face. Long, ear-like fins extend from its jaws to over its head, and its eyes are red. It has three-fingered arms with a blue covering on the outer side of the lower arms.
Seeing the Pokemon, Mew remembers seeing the statue similar to the Pokemon.
Mew realizes, "It's Latios!"
Latios angrily speaks out, but the girl refuses.
"Why is he so mad at us?" Mew questions. Then turns to the girl, "And did he just call you, Latias?"
Suddenly, another voice appears, "What's going on here? What are you doing to Latios?"
Mew and her Pokemon become perplexed because now they're seeing the same person in two different places.
The girl demands, "Well?"
"Hold on a second! We weren't doing anything! Really! We just followed this girl here!" Mew explains, "This is my friend, Pikachu and Evee. And I'm Mew, I'm a Pokémon trainer."
But the girl is not buying it, "Oh, really? Alright, Latios, get 'em!"
Latios begins to attack, but then, "That's enough!"
Latios quickly stops when the man from the museum shows up.
"Bianca! Latios! I'm sure this boy means no harm," The man says.
The girl, Bianca, tries to explain, "Grandpa, they were…"
"Hey, I know you! You're the man from the museum," Mew says.
Bianca tries to reason with her grandfather, "But, they…"
But her grandfather shushes her, "Shh. It's okay. Latias, do you want to play with their new friends?"
Latias nods.
"Latias?" Mew questions.
Latias pulls Mew towards the swing and they both start swinging.
"I don't understand, but I thought Latias was the name of a Pokémon," Mew says, confused.

There is a brightness
It's like the sunshine
Latias then morphs to her true form. Revealing to be a Pokémon with a birdlike body stylized after a plane. Its long neck stretches forward from its squat body. It has no legs, usually floating instead. The rear half of its body is largely red and the upper half white, with jet-plane wings high on its rear and fins on the bottom near its tail. A blue triangle marks the center of its chest, while a red mask partially covers its face. Ear-like fins sit on top of its head and its eyes are yellow. It has short, three-fingered arms with a red covering on the outer side of the lower arms.
Mew becomes surprised and falls off the swing.
Song:
That comes down among the trees
And kisses the grounds
Latias helps her sit back up.
"Thanks, I'm okay. Thanks a lot," Mew says.
Latias happily flies around Mew
Song:
The city is like a maze
We all never fly
We feel the loneliness
The man says, "She must've really taken a liking to this young lady.
"Pika. Eevee." (Guess so.) Pikachu and Eevee reply.
Latios then approaches Pikachu and Eevee, apologizing for attacking them. At first Pikachu and Eevee are nervous, but Latios licks them to show his friendship.
And soon, Pikachu and Eevee begin to play with Latios and Latias.

As Pikachu, Eevee, Latios and Latias play, Mew talks to her grandfather.
Bianca introduces themselves, "I'm Bianca, sorry I almost attacked you before, Mew. And that's my grandpa, Lorenzo."
"That's okay, Bianca," Mew says, "I do have a few questions, though."
"I suppose you're wondering why Latias looked exactly like Bianca," Lorenzo says.
"Yeah," Mew says.

We can fly away
And we can talk heart to heart
Let's get to paradise with invisible wings
Someday our dreams will come true
"That's one of her powers. She can take on the shape of a human. And since we're best friends, she turns into me a lot," Bianca explains.
Pikachu then hops off of Latios and hops onto Latias. Eevee does the same, but vice versa.

Just then Latias flies to Mew, and Pikachu hops on Mew's shoulder.

Because there is hope for everyone
The secret garden's waiting for you
Then Latias takes Mew's hat off her head.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Mew calls out and chases after Latias, Hey, come on! That's my favorite hat!" and snatches back her hat, "Got it!"
Soon, Latios arrives as Eevee hops off and lands on Mew's other shoulder.
Then Latios' eyes begin to glow.

It's so lovely
Latias turns to Latios and her eyes begins to glow as well

Then Latios dives into the fountain and swims through the tunnel.

Meanwhile, Latias uses her powers to bring the others along. Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee are astonished to find themselves in the tunnel. Latios continues to swim through the water as he swims past a few water Pokemon.

Let's get to paradise with invisible wings
Someday our dreams will come true
"How is this happening?" Mew asks.
"Don't be afraid, Mew. Latias has the power to project what Latios is seeing," Bianca reassures.
"Sight sharing," Lorenzdo says.
"Sight sharing?" Mew questions.
So we can find the way
Yes we can stay together now
Because there is hope for everyone
The secret garden's waiting for you
"This is a rare privilege, to see through the eyes of Latios," Lorenzo says.
"I guess Latios thinks he can really trust you, Eevee, and Pikachu, Mew," Bianca says.

They follow Latios past several water Pokémon.
"Latias, this is amazing. Tell Latios we say thanks, okay?" Mew says.

Sometime later…
"How long have you guys known Latios and Latias?" Mew asks.
"Well, grandpa's known them since they were babies," Bianca answers.
"I've known them since their father brought the water to our town," Lorenzo answers, "He rescued the people from a life of terror and left us with this beautiful water city. But I'm afraid it was too much for him."
"He used all his power to bring the water, and then vanished into thin air," Bianca says.
Then Lorenzo says, "But in his place, there was a beautiful crystal orb called the Soul Dew, said to contain the spirit of Latios."
"So Latios died saving the town, and his children became orphans," Mew says.
"I'm afraid so, Mew," Lorenzo says.
Soon, Mew spots something, "Hey. This looks like the Defense Mechanism that's in the museum."
"That diagram shows how the Soul Dew is used to power it," Lorenzo says.
"Hey, where is the Soul Dew?" Mew asks.
Lorenzo and Bianca take Mew to a nearby pool of water, where he and Pikachu see the Soul Dew at the bottom.
"That's really cool," Mew says.
"I'll tell you something, Mew, that beautiful jewel contains not only the spirit of Latios, but, in the wrong hands, the power to destroy our town," Lorenzo says.
"Oh my," Mew says.
"It must never leave this pool. So, you see, it's important that its location be kept a secret," Lorenzo says.
"Right," Mew says.
Soon, Latias flies over and nuzzles Mew.
"Hi, Latias," Mew says.
Then Latias begins pushing Mew in excitement.
"Hey, where are we going?" Mew asks.
Latios lets out happy cries and flies over. Latios knows what Latias means and allows Mew to follow. Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee follow. They soon find a large bush and look to see two eggs. One is red and white with a blue triangle. The other is blue and white with a red triangle.
"These are eggs," Mew says.
"Indeed. Latias and Latios found these a couple of weeks ago, and judging by their patterns, we can assume that one is a Latias Egg and the other is a Latios Egg," Lorenzo says.
"And look at the right," Bianca says.
Mew turns to see two large round stones. They look like Mega Stones. One of them has red and light purple on the inside. The other stone has blue and light purple.
"Those look like Mega Stones," Mew says.
"Yes. And the way they react to Latias and Latios, we figure these Mega Stones will allow them to Mega Evolve," Lorenzo says.
"Cool," Mew says.
Latias then nuzzles Mew again, prompting Mew to nuzzle back.
"She wants to play some more," Bianca says.
"Sorry. I gotta go find my friends. But we'll play again real soon, okay?" Mew says.
Pikachu and Eevee agree.
"Well, shall we head back, then?" Lorenzo says.
"Okay," Mew says.
Latias is saddened to see her new friends leave, but knows she'll see them again soon.
Soon, as the sun sets, Mew, Pikachu, Eevee, Lorenzo and Bianca set off.
"Bye, you guys!" Mew calls out.
Pikachu and Eevee also say their goodbyes.
After they leave, the two Pokemon start playing some more, but they're revealed to be being watched by Annie and Oakley.
As for the group…
"We can cut through here," Lorenzo says.
They soon enter a workshop.
"Where are we?" Mew asks.
"This is my workshop," Lorenzo says.
"Grandpa makes gondolas in here," Bianca says.
"Cool," Mew says.
"Yeah, it's a job that keeps me pretty busy in this town," Lorenzo says.
Then turns to Bianca, "Bianca, why don't you take Mew the rest of the way back to town?"
"Okay," Bianca says.
Shortly after, Bianca takes Mew and her Pokemon back to her friends on the speedboat down the river.
Mew turns to Bianca, "Hey, Bianca, why were those two girls chasing you before? Did you know em?"
"What are you talking about?" Bianca says, confused.
Soon, Mew realizes, "Oh, it must've been Latias."
"Somebody was chasing Latias?" Bianca asks, shocked.
"Yeah, these two girls were," Mew says.
"That's weird," Bianca says, showing concern.
Later that night, Annie and Oakley make their move while Team Rocket watches from nearby
"Dere dey go. All we gotta do is follow em over dem rooftops," Meowth says.
"Well, I used to be quite a good gymnast," James says.
"This is our big chance! I can almost taste it!" Jessie says, "Are you ready?"
"Yeah!"The boys agree.
The three soon follow behind Annie and Oakley.
"Hey, my foot! Ow!" Meowth says.
The three continue to follow Annie and Oakley to who knows where. However, they end up slipping up and falling on a lamp post.
"That was a close one," Team Rocket says, defeated.
Soon, Wobbuffet appears, "Wobbuffet! (Way too close!)
However, Wobbuffet's added weight causes the lamp post to break, sending them falling toward the street.
Team Rocket cries out, "Team Rocket's blas..." and hits the ground before they can finish.
Back at Lorenzo's workshop, he's seen to be working on a gondola when Annie's Espeon enters the place.
Lorenzo notices it, "Well, hello there. Are you lost? You don't look familiar."
Espeon suddenly uses Psychic to knock Lorenzo out before its master and her partner show up.
"Bravo, Espeon," Annie says
Meanwhile, in the secret garden, Latios and Latias lay sleeping in a tree and keeping the eggs close to them. Just then, the chimes go off and Annie and Oakley enter.
"They must be in here somewhere," Oakley says.
"This is where the kid was playing with them," Annie says.
Soon enough, Latios makes his move to attack.
"We're in luck. It looks like now they want to play with us, Annie," Oakley says.
Then the two girls cartwheel out of Latios' way.
"I know!" Annie says, "First one to catch Latios wins!"
Annie cartwheels down the hill to avoid Latios when he comes by again. So, in order to avoid being caught, the two Pokémon turn invisible.
"Uh oh. That's a new one," Annie says.
"These two are just full of surprises," Oakley says.
"Which, of course, makes them even more desirable," Annie says.
One of the Pokemon darts at Annie, but she easily backflips out of the way. The two of them put on their glasses and Annie spots Latios.
Annie calls out, ": Right there! Espeon, use your Swift attack!"
Espeon fires and hits him.
"These sunglasses rule," Annie says.
However, Latias takes Espeon out
"It's Latias!" Oakley says, and calls out, "Ariados, use your Night shade!"
Ariados fires the attack from its horn and hits Latias enough to make her visible again until Latios steps in to protect her.
"Okay, if you wanna be the hero, we'll take you first!" Oakley says as she gets out and throws a capture net at Latios, snaring him and sapping his energy as Annie spots Latias.
"Espeon, Psybeam!" Annie calls out/
Espeon fires the attack and hits Latias, taking her down. Latios lets out a cry.
Then Annie says to her Pokemon, "Espeon, Tackle attack!"
However, as Espeon makes its way down, Latios slides in to distract it. Latios then cries out to Latias, telling her to escape.
Annie calls out the next attack, "Psychic attack, Espeon!"
"Ariados, String Shot," Oakley says.
Both attack and snare Latios. Latias hurries to help her brother, but Latios tells Latias to take the Eggs and make her escape. Reluctantly, Latias has to fly away to get the eggs.
"Come on!" Annie says as she and Oakley hurry to Latias.
Latias prepares to take her leave on her brother's behest as Annie and Oakley run down the hill with capture nets in hand.
"Going somewhere?" Annie says and throws the net.
Annie throws the net, but Latios takes it instead. Latias flies back to the tree and picks up the two eggs. Then pick up the two Mega Stones. Once gathering the items, Latias flies into the canal to escape, heartbroken of having to leave her brother behind. However, Latias knows that she needs to get help, and knows who to go to.
Back in the garden…
"Well, at least we got one of them," Annie says.
"That may be all we need," Oakley says, and makes her way to the pool, "Especially, if we have, this." as she grabs the Soul Dew and tries to pull it out of its resting place, "Stubborn little gem, isn't it?"
"Just try not to break it, okay?" Annie says.
"I don't think that's possible," Oakley ays.
Finally she gets it out of the pool.
"Got it," Oakley says.
"Let me just take a look at this thing," Annie says and takes the Soul Dew and admires it, "It's like its, spiritual or something. You know what I mean, Oakley?"
Suddenly, Oakley says, "I found it. I found it.
Annie looks and sees Oakley on her laptop.
"Well, technically yes, but it belongs to both of us," Annie says.
But Oakley says, "That's not what I'm talking about. Come here, check this out."
"What is it?" Annie asks.
"The etching in the stone explains how the Soul Dew is used to power the DMA," Oakley says.
"Didn't we already have that info from the book we stole?" Annie questions.
"Yeah, but this has a lot of stuff the book didn't have," Oakley says, examining the stone with her laptop.
"Like what?" Annie questions.
"Hold on a second," Oakley says, and zooms in on one etching, "It's written in some kind of code."
"Are you gonna be able to crack it?" Annie questions.
Oakley then continues to examine the date and reads, "It says the Defense Mechanism must only be used as a last resort, for it'll cause the water to recede and destroy the Soul Dew."
"I don't care about the water going away, but we can't destroy my beautiful jewel," Annie says.
"OUR jewel," Oakley says and takes the Soul Dew.
"Be careful with it," Annie says.
But Oakley says, "I wouldn't worry about it. They probably just made that stuff up so people wouldn't try to use the Defense Mechanism against them."
Soon, the water in the fountains stops flowing.
Outside the garden, Latias surfaces, turns invisible and heads off to find help.
Back in the garden, Bianca and Lorenzo find the Soul Dew gone.
Bianca says in shock, "Oh no! You were right, it's gone!"
Just as I suspected," Lorenzo says.
Then Bianca says, "We better get to the museum right away."
Lorenzo agrees.
In the Museum, Annie and Oakley reach the DMA with Latios in tow. Ariados, who had been carrying Latios the whole way, puts him in the center of a platform, which starts glowing once he's in place. Soon, three rings rise out of the platform and lift Latios up.
Surprised, Annie says, "It's working."
"Cool. Yeah," Oakley says.
With Latios in place, the DMA opens, ready to be activated.
"Perfect. Just like the book said. We only have one more thing to do," Oakley says.
Soon, Lorenzo and Bianca arrive.
Lorenzo cries out, "Just what do you think you're doing?!"
"I guess you're a light sleeper, huh?" Oakley replies.
"We can help you with that," Annie says. Then says to her Pokemon, "Espeon, Psychic attack."
Espeon performs the attack on both Lorenzo and his granddaughter, taking them both down.
"Sweet dreams," Annie says in remark.
"Now where were we?" Oakley replies.
Oakley then puts the Soul Dew in the designated place, bringing the DMA to life.
"Look at it go!" Oakley says, excited.
