Poppy Playtime - A New Purpose in Life

Getting a job at the Playtime Co. factory seemed like a good idea for our buddy, Jay Sanford, but he will soon realize how much of a price he will have to pay to save himself from the monstrosities that lurk in the factory, a certain spider lady will help him soon realize what mess he has gotten himself into.

10. Update 2 (And hopefully the last one)

Yo! I'm back. Before you all scream at me, yes I know, Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 has come out and WOW! It is wayyy better than I expected, 8/10. For anybody wondering, I've already thought of what to write for the next chapter of my story and I'm getting ready to start typing away, but before that, I want to point out a couple of things:

1. For people who don't know, Marie Payne was a human in the factory who was turned into Mommy Long-Legs. People who are following Poppy Playtime's lore know this and it's basic common knowledge at this point, but for a long time, we were never given a clue of what her exact age was. So back when I wrote my story almost two years ago, I assumed like everybody else that Marie Payne was an ADULT turned into MLL, but now we know that this isn't the case, she was an orphan. So for this, I want to make something clear: For MY story, I'm making Marie Payne an ADULT. I don't feel comfortable writing a story where my character (Jay Sanford) is going to be having a close relationship with a pink toy who was a child in her past life, I'm not into that stuff. From now on, I'm going to be putting disclaimers in every chapter detailing this specific change, I hope you guys understand why I have to do this. Thank you.

2. Jay Sanford. Get a load of this guy, he's clearly not the 'player' character as depicted in the game. With new lore bits coming in, we now know that the 'player' was most likely a higher-up for the factory, and not some regular dude who works behind a cash register as I depicted in my story. I'm making it clear, I have no plans changing who, or what Jay did in the factory, in fact, I'm going to make sure the plot follows Jay's story all the way through. The story will still be the same as the game so you guys don't have to worry about that. As for the 'player' character, you'll see what I'll make of them in the future. wink wink wink

3. In the first update post I made, I said I was revising and editing the previous chapters of my story for the past year, and this is still true! Kinda... College messed up my schedule and I manage to rewrite most of the old chapters, but I'm still tweaking some parts and I'm planning to release that hopefully soon. Sorry for keeping you guys waiting on that.

Thank you guys for patiently waiting for my return, I know it's been a while but I'm getting ready to get back into the swing of things and start writing again. Thank you for all the follows this story gets, it still brings a smile to my face when I get a new notification from someone liking my story. Love you all and see you soon.
