My heart began to throb in my throat as I felt the fresh air against my falling body. I felt my eye lids become heavy as I drifted in and out of reality.

The wear abouts of my current location was a mystery to me. According to the last thing I could remember, I had been lying by the black lake and yet somehow I now find myself flying or falling, I'm not quite sure which, through an endless void of blackness. I have no memory of how I got here, yet something about this place was recognisable to me. Like a strange case of dega vu, I knew where i was yet, I didn't.

Of course I had no logical way of knowing where I was, for all i knew I could be still lying by the black lake or half way across the world on an Australian beach yet I wasn't in either of those places. At least not as far as I could tell.

And then it hit me. The thought I had been waiting to think. The thought that overruled every other.

The memories came like a flood, stronger than ever before. I knew where I was. And it was all too familiar...

AUTHOR'S NOTES

This chapter is kind of a filler or 'lead on' to next chapter so not the longest. Not entirely happy with this so might go back an edit but we'll see. Anyways thank you all for reading this far on in the story.
