It had been nearly three weeks sense Sally had lost the baby. Her depression did get somewhat better. It had its episodes.
Lightning awoke in bed. Laying there with Sally next to him. He stared at her sleeping. She was so peaceful and beautiful. He rolled over and stared at the ceiling. Reaching to the side of his face. He needed shave. Thinking about his marriage. This depression Sally had. He glanced at her. Staring at her beauty. Did he have what it would take to save this? Lightning sat up and grabbed his phone. How could he help her? Sure, he'd been helping her. But she was depressed. Was this a time thing? He sighed. Getting up and throwing on a shirt and just sporting his pajamas or lounge wear whatever. Walking to the Kitchen, making some coffee, then to the living room and sitting down. Pulling up his Brother's name and calling. Ringing a few times as he sat. Thinking this over.
Hey, Mon.
"Hey."
How are you doing?
"Um.. Better I think."
What do I owe the pleasure?
"Just wanted to talk."
Alright, lay it on me? Leaving her yet?
"She lost the baby."
Oh… Oh.
"She is so depressed and I understand why, but I can't feel it like she does."
Obviously. She whored out.
"Chad…"
You really want to stay? With her? After what she did? Baby or not, she slept with someone else, Monty.
"Please stop. I just… I just wanted to talk about it."
Go ahead..
"She lost it. She doesn't have that long term reminder anymore. I told you that I could and have forgave her for the affair. Which means it's different now and we can move on, right?"
I don't know… That was a huge mess she made and… I mean, you were lucky word didn't get out and she lost it before it did…
"I'm a horrible person for wishing this."
What do you mean?
"A part of me always wished she would lose it, but not entirely. Because I know how much Sally wanted this. She didn't care whose baby it was at this point, she just wanted to be a Mother and I deprived her of that for so long."
If you two weren't ready, you weren't ready.
"No…. it's more than that… I.. I made sure we didn't have a baby for a while there. I made sure she didn't get pregnant and then when we decided to start trying again, Ben knocks her up. Now that she's lost it, she's not happy, she's broken. And the worst part of it is, I don't want her to ever get pregnant again. I don't want to hurt her."
Jesus, Mon… The two of you aren't trying already, are you?
"Of course not. We have to fix this marriage first."
Glad you at least understand that. Is it fixable?
"I believe so."
Well… As long as you do…
"You didn't tell Mom, did you?"
No. If I did, she'd be calling you.
"Yeah… You're right… I may talk to her."
You're going to tell her what happened?
"No… But… She's Mom… Maybe she'd know how to help Sally."
A swift slap to the back of the head might help her.
"Stop. You're not helping."
Sorry… Look, I'll support whatever you do with this marriage, but I don't like her. I don't think this is the smart decision. She slept with another guy and got knocked up. She was having his baby. You really forgive her? I mean once a cheater, always a cheater.
"I forgave her..." but that last comment made him think of Cruz. Once a cheater, always a cheater? That wasn't true.
(Sigh) Well… Maybe the two of you should try therapy.
"I'm not doing that."
Alright, alright… Church?
"Chad."
I know, I know. I'm just trying to help.
"I know… Thanks…"
How have you been?
"I've been good."
Not at the last three races. Guessing you aren't going to this weekends either?
"No… I'm staying home and taking care of Sally."
Hmm. I see…
"I just want things back like they were."
Things are never going to be that way, Monty. You have to accept that.
"I don't."
Than it will be so much harder to fix what you to have going on.
"….."
You can't fix everything. You can't handle everything, Mon….
"I can fix this."
Well… I wish you the best of luck, kid.
"…. yeah… Thanks for letting me talk."
Of course. I'm always here. Need to come by to.
"I will at some point."
Alright, just don't wait until something crazy happens and you wind up in a coma.
"Ha.. Ha.. Alright, I get. I'll be by soon."
May I request without the whore..
"Maybe.. I'll talk to you soon."
Sounds good. Talk to you later. And take care, Monty.
"I will, bye."
Lightning hung up and tossed his phone aside. Rubbing his hands over his face. He was so stressed out. Just trying to fix this marriage and make Sally happy. She was still asleep. So Lightning grabbed his keys and wrote a note to Sally in case she woke up before heading out….
Lightning sat in the Bolt at Willy's butte. The car shut off. Just sitting in the driver seat as he smoked. Leaning back and taking in the air and sights around. Not gonna lie, he bought alcohol, but hadn't touched it. The bottles just sitting in the passenger seat. More or less just had them in case he needed them. But a smoke was doing it for now. Staring out at the track ahead. Chad was right. Things will never be the same and he needed to accept that. Things with Sally, racing, his life genuinely would never be the same. Lightning smoked the last of the cigarette then flicked it out the window of the Bolt.
Grabbing his phone, he pulled up a text from Cruz. Just a picture of her with a trophy and smiling wide with Cal in the background. "Hm." Lightning snickered. Proud of her. But seeing her face in the picture. "Fuck." He messed up with Cruz. Using her like he did. And the worst part is that he enjoyed it! Cruz enjoyed it. And he was a little curious what else Cruz would enjoy? Could she handle everything Sally never could? No, stop. Didn't matter. He was married. He had his little revenge fuck in his mind with Cruz. That was it. Never again. But fuck.. Cruz felt so good and she wanted him. Almost in a different way than Sally. No. No, stop. Lightning sighed. Trying not to think about those things he had done with Cruz. But she was so… Amazing.
Her skin so soft, tight, glowing almost. How her eyes lit up when he'd walk in, her need for him. Her brown eyes, shiny hair. Everything about her was beautiful. Fuck. Lightning hated himself for thinking about her. He needed Sally again. He needed to feel that yearn for her, but honestly… It would be a lie to say he was completely attracted to her again. He loved Sally, he wanted to be with Sally and Sally was an amazing person who loves and cares and made a mistake. But was he attracted to her? Yes. Sexually?… Ehh… Not enough to act on it.
She was… She always looked tired, she slept with someone else and hurt him, she couldn't have a baby, she was manipulating at times, she basically had to have her way or it was always a screaming match, her hair wasn't as soft as it use to be, her body gained weight in areas that didn't suit her and yet she was skinny beyond most women, her breasts were smaller than any woman he had ever been with, the only thing sexually attractive about her at this point was her midline and her ass! God, he was a jerk for thinking like this. Lightning dropped his head onto the steering wheel. Feeling like an Urdu or and rather pathetic. A jerk. He whined a bit. Just feeling like a piece of shit right now….
Lightning walked back in the house from the garage. Locking up he heard the fridge behind him. "Hey." He greeted his wife as he turned around. Sally stared a moment before asking, "We're you seriously smoking?" "What?" "It's just… I can smell it." "I… Yeah, alright.. I was smoking. It's not that big of a deal, Sal." He assured. Sally only disagreed, "Not for you. Smoking and then next you will be buying alcohol and drinking again. I don't want that life for you again. I don't want you to ever be like that again." The concern and sternness of her tone warned him of how afraid she really was. Lightning stared at her. He had alcohol in the Bolt. Just hadn't drank it. Yet.
He should just go get it and pour it out. But… Here's the thing… He was already falling apart again. Sure, it felt good being home and not fighting all of the time and sure, they were growing closer again, but… He didn't want to touch her sexually. He didn't see her as some sexual beauty he wanted to pounce. she was Sally. The one he'd spend the rest of his life with, never have children, mostly having bland and planned sex probably from now on and not able to look at her most of the time that they were sexual. He forgave her, but his body couldn't stand her. "What's wrong?" Sally asked. Lightning snapped out of his thoughts answering, "Nothing.."
Bbbbzzzz
his phone began ringing. Lightning pulled it out of his pocket. Tex. It had been four weekends sense he left. Lightning sighed, "It's Tex… I got to take this…" stepping into the living room, "Hello."
Hey, Lightnin! How is everything?…
"Um… It's better. Thanks for letting me stay behind here with Sally."
Family first, kid. You explained enough before. How is she doing?
"Well… As good as she can be doing, I suppose…"
Yeah.. Well… No rush. But I thought I'd ask you. When you coming back, kid?
"Urm… I'll talk to Sally tonight."
Alright. You let me know by tomorrow morning. I'll send a whirlie bird out for y'all if you're ready.
"Sally could come?"
Of course. If the two of you are on good terms.. And the drinking isn't a problem?...
"I think so… I'll talk to her and let you know."
Sounds good. Hope to see you back soon. No offense to Cal and all, but you and Cruz do better together. Y'all just have a special bond that Cal doesn't have with her.
"Right… She… Cruz hasn't said anything… Weird… Has she?"
Weird? What do you mean?
"Never mind. Thanks, Tex. I'll call you tomorrow." And Lightning hung up. He looked across the house at Sally in the kitchen. She was staring. She heard his side. They both stared at each other a moment before Sally asked, "Does the team need you back?" Lightning just shrugged. Sally sighed, frowning a bit before continuing, "You should go. I'm doing a lot better and not that I don't enjoy having you home full time, but.. If they need you"-"Why don't you come with me?" Lightning asked with a smile. Sally's eyes widened a bit. She crossed her arms and leaned against the fridge asking, "Won't I just get in the way? It's not like I'm there to watch you anymore." "You don't have to come to the track if you don't want to. But." He paused as he walked over to his wife.
"I'd love for you to come and this could be a little get away for us. We can work on our marriage and get back to being us again." "You really think so?" "Sure. I'll look into some things and after the race, we'll just spend the remainder of the week seeing the sights, go somewhere nice for dinner, I can take you shopping, a massage. Anything." He smiled. He truly wanted this, didn't he? Sally smiled a little then nodded, "Sure. It sounds really lovely, Lightning." "Great. I'll let Tex know you decided to come." Lightning kissed Sally's forehead as her stance was a bit cautious and made it hard to grab her face or lips. Then he wrapped his arms around her. "I love you.." He cooed so softly. Sally nestled into his chest. Closing her eyes. "I love you to, Lightning…" She murmured….
The couple arrived at the track. Florida speedway. Yes and the team were there setting up and getting ready. When he saw Sally and Lightning, he smiled and quickly approached them. "Good to see you both here. Miss Sally, you look great." Sally only smiled replying, "Thank you." "Glad you came along." "Well, Lightning convinced me." "Good man." Then he turned to Lightning, "Alright. We wanted to brief you on a few things. Not sure if you have been watching the last few races, but"-"She's leaning right and driving tight. Yeah, I noticed." The retired racer said. Tex nodded, "Great. Cal can talk to you more about it. He and Cruz had a bit of an argument last weekend, I'm sure she will be thrilled to find that you're back." "Yeah…" Lightning mumbled. Sally raised a brow. A little concern began.
It was almost like Lightning didn't want to coach Cruz. Something was up. Tex motioned for the couple to follow him. Following down to the garages and to the trailer where Cal was speaking with the new pit crew. Lightning stared at them. He didn't know them. Cruz had used his old team the last couple of races he was present. Cal smiled, "McQueen! Good to see you're back." Lightning nodded asking, "This the crew?" Cal placed his hands on his hips answering, "Yup. This is Harvard, lead mechanic. Jasper, Mike, Wallace and Trip." "Nice to meet you guys." Lightning said kindly. Trip immediately replying, "It's and honor to meet you Mr. Lightning McQueen, Sir. Mike and I grew up watching you and Cal and Bobby and were just talking about some of the crazy times we saw of the three of you."
Lightning awkwardly chuckled, "Woah, yeah.. Kind of out that side of us behind." "Got that right." Cal agreed. Cal looked at Sally. His smile faded and he announced, "Meg is at the motel suite. I'm sure you two can catch up soon. How are you?…" Sally stared at Cal. They knew. They knew she lost the baby. But they thought it was Lightning's. "Um… I'm getting there.." She admitted. Not sure what to say to that in front of people. Cal nodded then back to Lightning. "Alright. Let's talk about the car." Sally tapped Lightning on the shoulder and asked, "Could I just head to the motel? See Meg?" Lightning shrugged, "I don't see why not. Do whatever you want to do, Sal." "It's not going ti start something if I talk to Meg, right?" "No, of course not. I'm sorry how I acted before. Do what's best for you." Her husband assured and smiled. Sally smiled back. Kissing the side of his face before walking away.
Lightning watched her a moment. Just a little happy that the two of them were doing alright. Things were better. Probably going ti get better in time. Just had to give it time. "Lightnin. You with me?" Cal asked. Lightning snapped back over to the team. Getting ideas and discussing Cruz's driving and the car in recent races….
Sally walked into the motel. It was nice. Expensive nice. Tex always made sure to have the nicest places for his team when he was in charge of rooms. Sally grabbed her phone out and texted Meg. Letting her know she was here. Sitting in the chairs of the lobby. "Sally Meg called as she walked up to her friend. Sally stood and stared at Meg. You could see it in Sally's eyes. She was hurting and needing to get something out. Meg walked up and hugged her, tears filling her eyes after knowing the ordeal Sally had been through. "Oh, Sally… Come on.. Let's go to my room." She said.
The two walked up to the elevators, to the room. Meg closing the door behind her. "I'll get some wine." She said. Walking to the kitchen and pouring a bottle. Sally watched, silently.n Meg walked over and handed Sally one of the glasses before the two walked to the dining table of glass and sat down next to each other. "So.. You want to talk?" Meg asked. Sally nodded. Tears filling her eyes. It was time to confide in one of her closest friends. "Sally.." Meg cooed. Sally wiped her eyes. Holding the wine glass and began, "I lost the baby.. Which was probably for the best.." "Don't say that.. These things.. They happen.." "No, it's.. It wasn't Lightning's, Meg.. I had an affair.." "What?.." Meg sat back. Her face said it all.
Meg was unsure what to think of Sally. Sally had an affair!? That didn't make any sense. "What are you talking about?' Meg asked. Sally took a deep breath before continuing, "I.. I slept with my ex husband and.. It was his. Yes, Lightning knew.. And.. And… I lost it.." "So that's why Lightning was so.. Off.. Before, huh?" Sally just nodded. Meg sighed. Staring at her wine. Not sure what to say to Sally. But then adding up the pregnancy's timing she had to ask, "Did you have the affair while.. While he was.. After the accident?" Sally nodded as tears rolled down her face.
Meg was a little frustrated now. How dare Sally do that. "Sally.." "I know! I know how wrong it was.. Please.. I don't need more scolding from that.. I just.. While all of that was going on and I had complications through the pregnancy and of course Lightning and Ben, the ex husband, never got along." "Obviously.. Sally, I'm surprised that Lightning stayed." "Me to.. I.. I tried making him leave.. Multiple times.. To save him. I.. We always fought and.. Before the accident.. Not long before it, Lightning was… He was drinking a lot and admitted he was suicidal." "Fucking… Jesus, Sally… Why didn't either of you come too us sooner?" Meg asked. Hearing all of this at once was a lot! Sally shook her head answering, "I don't know.. Maybe we should have, but.." "Did… Okay, first.. Did Lightning try to kill himself?" "I.. I don't know exactly.. He only admitted it to me when I walked up on him looking over the cliff side of Willy's butte. I.. I think he was going to jump. He had a bad accident.. The drinking and depression… And he was getting better and then the accident happened and I thought he was going to die, Meg!"
She began crying again. Back to the weeping and whining as she admitted and vented, "I thought it was over. Lightning was going to die and I was stupid and sleepy with my ex and then.. He woke up and then right back to the depression. Lightning didn't want anything to do with anyone, you remember? You guys wanted to come over and"-"And he wouldn't allow it, yeah.." "And then I found out I was pregnant and the fighting got so bad and things were said and I don't know if he's even actually happy with me anymore or of he is just settling.. I don't want him to be hiding his feelings and depression.. Then I tried making him leave me. Pushing him away, but the man wouldn't just leave." "He loves you.." Meg reminded.
Sally calmed down and wiped her eyes, nodding. "Yeah… Well.. After I lost the baby… I had hoped things could go back to normal, but I'm just dreaming.. Are Lightning and I over?" She asked her friend. Meg sighed. Thinking. This was so much. "Why was he suicidal before?" "I don't really know.. Before that, the anxiety was bad because of what happened at the Prix. I mean, he got over it, but never completely.. And Bobby would just give Lightning drugs and they'd drink and… He was just sad, I guess.." "Yeah… Well… Lightning isn't suicidal still, is he?' Meg asked with concern. Honestly, that was main concern. Sally shrugged, "He's so good at hiding things and putting on a show anymore, I can't tell. You know how he is." Meg nodded. That hurt. She would have to talk to Cal about that later.
Now, about Sally. "What about you?.. How are you doing?" "I…" Sally paused and stared at the wine before answering, "it comes and goes in waves.. I'm depressed, but not stupid.. I just.. I don't want to bring Lightning down again and.. I could never live with myself if he tipped over the edge again and fell apart.., Partially why I wished he'd had just left like I tried making him before. I could not watch him suffer. And now? Now, I can't tell how bad it is. I can tell that he's trying though." She admitted. Meg nodded. But dam. Sally was a fucking bitch to Lightning. "Sally.. Do you love Lightning and want to be with him at this point or are you dragging him around?' Meg had to ask.
Sally's eyes widened as she answered, "I want to be with him, I love him." "And he is trying?" "Yeah.." "Are you trying?" "I.. I am.." Sally answered, but it didn't sound convincing. Meg sacred at sally. Not sure what to say because it really was a lot. "Well… Just try.. Keep trying I guess." "Yeah… But I din't know what to do. Lightning always uses sex for everything and now.. He's closed up and I don't think he wants to touch me." "Well… You cheated and were pregnant by someone else. That's a whole lot of betrayal; to take in after a fucking coma." "Gosh.. I.. I messed up so badly.." "Yeah, you did.. Just do things to make him happy, but don't lose yourself.. You're not talking to the other man still, are you?" "No, of course not." Sally assured. Meg sighed.
What a fucking mess. "Okay, well.. Have the two of you tried therapy?" The friend asked. Sally shook her head, "No, Lightning won't do that." "The two of you need it." "I don't know.. Lightning believes anything we try is just going to wind up us going to doctors and being places on pills." "So he's afraid they'll put him on something again, isn't he?" "Probably." "Is he taking any medications now?" "He's suppose to be, but I don't know. I haven't been around him enough or paying attention to him enough to know if he's taking his medications.. I guess I should be.." Sally frowned. She was a horrible wife. Meg shook her head replying, "No, but.. The two of you have talked about all of this, right?" "Some of it.. Lightning just wants to move on and get back to us. How things were, but things can't ever be that way agin, right?" "No, not really. You've accepted that, he needs to as well." Meg explained.
Sally nodded, sipping her wine. The two sitting silently together for moment. Meg thinking over her words before speaking. A little hurt that Sally didn't come to her sooner, but also.. It was a lot and she could understand a little. Not wanting to be judged. "How about a double date?' Meg asked. Sally raised a brow and asked, "You think that's a good idea?" Meg just shrugged, "being out with friends can lighten a mood. You two need to get out and be together. Plus, the public and th fans are wondering where you are. They all love the tow of you and lately it's all about Lightning and Cruz and the rumors surrounding all of that with Lightning's retirement from racing and how suddenly Cruz came into the picture." "What rumors?" Sally asked.
Meg snickered and sipped her wine before answering, "Oh there are all kinds of rumors going on about that. Some even saying the only reason Lightning let Cruz in the race and allowed her to take his place is because they slept together." "Surely, that's only a rumor, right?' Sally asked. Meg stared a moment. "I mean.. I thought so. Why? You think he did?" Meg grew concerned. Sally shrugged, "I don't know.. I'm just over thinking it, I'm sure. Can't let rumors get into my head." "That's true. I'm surprised you and Lightning kept the affair a secret." "Lightning controlled that one.." "Yeah, putting off the baby as his did it. But fuck.. That had to hurt him. All the fans and people congratulating him all of the time… Fuck.. Even Cal and I and Tex.." Meg frowned. Now she felt absolutely horrible about that!
Then remembering how Lightning treated Sally last time they were around her and Cal, she had to ask, "Is Lightning going to be mad that you spoke with me about this?" Sally shook his her head, "I don't think so… I asked him before coming here.. He said I need to do what's best for me.. I know he knew what I meant when I asked about talking with you." "Well… That's good.. But be careful who you tell.. If this gets out… You two will be dealing with an entire different side if the fans and press… It won't be pretty.. I don't think Lightning could protect you from that.." Meg explained softly. Sally nodded. She deserved the harshness of the fans though. If they only knew that the wife of the Lightning McQueen had an affair while he was in a coma.. They'd kill her. They'd obviously take Lightning's side of things and she'd be torn apart, thrown to the wolves……
Sally met back with Lightning in the halls of the motel suites. Standing at the door of their room. Lightning opened the door and smiled as he motioned for her to go ahead, "Ladies first." He smiled. Sally smiled a little then walked on in. Lightning watched her walk inside then leaned over and grabbed their bags when her heard, "Mr. McQueen." He froze a moment. Looking across his rom to see Cruz standing at her door. Their rooms were across? Of course they were. "Cruz.." Lightning muttered her name. Cruz walked dover and asked, "How have things been?" Smiling as always. Lightning sighed answering, "Um.. Good… Things are good." Sally then walked back up, grabbing LIghtning's arm.
Cruz's eyes widened as she saw the wife! "Mrs. McQueen!?" She was shocked to see her and her face blushed the color of roses. Sally noticed and raised a brow, brushing it off she asked, "How is the career going?" Cruz stared up at Lightning. He shook his head discreetly. Cruz looked back at Sally, stuttering, "I-i.. I-it.. Um.. Th-the racing i-is.. It's great. Thanks to this guy!" She joked and nudged Lightning in the shoulder playfully. Still blushing. Lightning closed his eyes and let out a sigh. Cruz was fucking stupid and horrible at hiding things. Fuck. Sally glanced at Lightning before back at Cruz replying, "Alright… Are"-'Alright, got to go." Lightning snapped and pushed Sally into their room, grabbing their bags and tossing them inside and shutting the door on Cruz.
Phew. That was bad. Sally crossed her arms and snarled, "That was rude." Lightning locked the door and explained, "Cruz is a bit annoying.. Just needed to end that." "Why? What are you hiding?' Sally asked. Lightning turned a but pale. Not facing her yet.. Still facing the locked door. Fuck.. he had to compose himself before turning around. He put on a smile and looked at his wife assuring, "Nothing. I just want to be alone with you." "Me?" Sally asked. Her tone.. Still suspicious. Lightning walked dup to her and caressed the side of her face with his hand before leaning in and kissing her softly. Sally embraced his touch, his kiss, but it was off. She was just overthinking though.
Surely, that's all it was. Lightning held her face in his plasmas, kissing her and the two began making out. Sally moaning into Lightning's mouth. Lightning broke their kiss but instantly began kissing at her neck. His hands brushing down her shoulders and arms. Sally wrapped her arms around his neck. A bit confused about his sudden approach and hunger and need here, but she''d let him have her if he desired. Lightning's hands brushed down, he knelt slightly. Kissing over her breast as he grabbed her up by her legs, picking her up and taking her to the kitchen. counter. Sitting her down and making out with her face. He quickly grabbed her shirt and pulled it over her head, "Are you still bleeding?" He asked. Sally shook her head and they once more began making out again.
Lighting grabbing her buttons on her pants and aggressively undoing them. Sally yelped a bit at his sudden roughness. Lightning pulled her down from the counter and pulled her pants down to her ankles along with her panties. Turning her around and bending her over the counter. Leaning over he body and kissing the back of her shoulders. Sally lay her head fdoej on the counter as he kissed her shoulders, leaning down with her. Licking the side oof her neck before his hands went to her area. She could feel his fingers just circling her entrance. Sally moaned slightly. Still a little confused and not to turned on by his actions at the moment. Lightning noticed this and stepped back, pulled her hips out a little and making her spread her legs to the best she could with her ankles trapped in the pants and panties still.
Lightning knelt down, turned and sat between her legs, leaning his back on cabinets beneath her and held onto her ass as he kissed her area. A slow and long lap from back to the front to her clit with his tongue. Sally shivered by his touch, The sudden wet and warmth of his tongue, his lips. Lightning licking her back and fourth at her entrance. "Lightning.." She whimpered. Trapped as she sat on her clothing on the floor. Sally clenched her fist. "Fuck.." She growled in a high pitch. Lightning eagerly and hungrily kept licking her. She was perfectly wet now. Between her arousal and his saliva. Lightning closed his eyes and enjoyed lapping her. Digging his face between her legs. Sally could barely strand at some point here. "Stickers.." She whispered as her body shuttered. That took him by surprise a bit. Hadn't heard that in a while.
Lightning slid out from beneath her and stood up. Grabbing her hips and leaning over her. Kissing her shoulder again. "Please.. Be gentle.." She begged in whisper. Lightning sighed a bit. Sally heard it. But then with an unzip of his pants, he pushed his member into her dripping wet hole. Sally closed her eyes tightly. It almost hurt! It had been to long. Lightning leaned dover her body, his hands brushing up her sides then one hand on the counter over hers and the other holding onto her shoulder, he began thrusting. Pacing and being gentle, but fuck she felt so god dam warm and good. "Fuck.." He growled. She was tight and warm and wet and felt.. "Oooh.. Sally.." He moaned into her ear. Sally breathed heavily, panting with his thrust. Continuing to thrust in and out of her body. Lightning straightened his stance, rocking his hips back and fourth as he fucked her gently as she wished.
God this was great. His eyes rolling back of his head, his muzzle still damp of her juices, he was just horny as fuck, and she was amazing to his body right now. Lightning slows his thrust and leaned over Sally again. Licking up her spine and back of her neck, moving her hair, kissing her neck and biting gently over her shoulder. Sally only moaned more. He reached around and began playing with her clit. Making Sally main a but more loudly and longer moans sang from her lips. He adored it. He wanted to feel her body tighten around him. He groaned as he kissed the side of her neck. Thrusting faster once again! Thrusting in as deep as he could each time he went in, playing with her clit and she was so wet. "L-Lightning.." She moaned.. Oh he could feel it,. She was getting closer and closer!
He thrusted a bit faster, "Oh god!.. Lightning!" She yelped and he quickly reached around and grabbed her jaw, covering it as he impaled into her as hard as he could, shoving her against the edge of the counter top! Sally clenched her eyes shut tightly and whimpered into his palm! Her body climaxing over his member! Their bodies heated and she panted as she whimpered. He slowly began thrusting a few more times before pulling out and grabbing onto the edges of the counter on either side of Sally as he came between her legs, all over the cabinet and her clothes. Both panting a bit. Catching their breaths. Lightning leaning his forehead between Sally's shoulders. His breath sending chills over her spine. Sally leaned lower. Laying her upper body on the counter top, breathing a bit heavily.
Lightning stared down her. She still was a fucking whore in his eyes, but at least he enjoyed her. And he loved her. Progress, right?…..
Sally was on the couch watching some tv when Lightning finally got off the phone and walked in. "Who was that?" Sally asked as he sat down next to her. Lightning wrapped an arm around his wife before answering, "Tex. He invited us to dinner." "Just us?" "No, Cal, Meg.. Cruz." Sally noticed the way he said her name and after earlier, she had t ask. "What is going on with you and Cruz?" Lighting cleared his throat answering, "Nothing. I'm her coach." "Sure, but there's more. Did something happen between the two of you?" "Like what? What could have happened?" Lightning asked. Fuck.
She was catching on quick. Lightning swallowed a bit loudly. Sally glared at him. Staring. Not sure yet, but something had happened. "Lightning.. There are rumors about the two of you.." "Yeah, I know." He admitted. Sally nodded and continued, "But none of them are true, right?" Lightning stared at her and shook his head, "Nothing. No, I mean. No, the rumors are lies. You know better than anyone how those go." Sally wasn't sure about this. "You sleep with her?" She asked. Lightning stared! His eyes widened slightly before he answered, lying, "No, Of course not! Why would you-GO!" He stood up and snapped, "You slept with Ben! You have no room to go around and accusing me of sleeping with her. It would be really bad if I did. The relationship I have with her would be over and I'd never be able to be her coach or crew chief and why would I do that!?" "Because of me.." Sally growled and crossed her arms.
Lightning sighed and turned away from his wife. He could just admit it. Admit he fucked up and slept with Cruz when she was pushing him away, but.. What if that caused an entirely new fight? What if she left him over this!? What if she couldn't forgive him? She was so delicate and already had a history of comparing herself with women he had been with in the past. Fuck! "No, I'd never do that to you…" He mumbled softly. Frowning. Sally stood up and thought his sadness was because if her accusal. "Stickers.. I'm sorry.. I didn't.. I shouldn't let my insecurities get to me…" She grabbed his hand from begins. Lightning closed his eyes. Fuck. His heart hurt. He betrayed her just like she had done to him. What if Cruz was pregnant!? No..
No she had the arm thing.. He took a deep breath, put on a smile and turned back facing Sally. "NO worries." He assured softly. "You're aloud to have a bit of insecurity I suppose.But.. I'm here with you and we are trying to make us work again.. I love you, I forgave you. Let's move past what happened, alight?" He asked. Sally stared u into his deep blue eyes. He looked so hopeful. Hopeful that they could make it past this. It made her smile seeing him smile and she nodded. Lightning was just relieved he had learned her ways of her ability to detect lies and expressions. Being the great lawyer she was, he had to in order to save their marriage form the stupid thing he had done with Cruz. Never again would he think of Cruz in that way.
He had Sally.. This beautiful woman that he loved more than anything and though they were going through some things right now, they were going to make it. He was determined of this. Sally then looked at the tv a moment before grabbing the remote. "Come on, let's get ready for dinner." She said. Lightning smiled, watching her walk away to the bedroom. He had hope and it felt good. Yeah, things were going to work out. Period…..
The couple walked down stairs to go and meet up with Cal, Meg, Tex and Cruz. Lighting was completely sure that this was going to be fine. Never sleeping with Cruz again, no more inappropriate glances, nothing. He was going to be professional with her and what=ever relationship they had would be due to work and he was simply her crew chief. That was it! Sally looked goo. Sporting her white pants suit and hair up in a fat bun. The white always looked good on her with her platinum hair. The pearl and diamond necklace she wore made her tea blue eyes sparkle. "You look beautiful." Lightning complimented.
"Unlike me. Now, I feel underdressed." He griped at himself, wearing some blue jeans, black shirt and a blazer. Sally grilled a bit and slapped him across the chest assuring, "You look fine. At least if you get anything on you, it won't stain." She reminded. Lightning snickered and rolled his eyes at her comment. The two made their way to the dining hall of the motel suite thing. (Sorry) Walking in and greeted by Tex up front. "McQueen. And wow.. Sally.. You look stunning as ever." He complimented. Sally smiled and thanked him per usual. Tex then pointed to the table and said, "Cal and everyone else are over there already. Order whatever you like, it's on me tonight." He assured. "Thanks, Tex." Lighting replied before he and Sally made their way to the table. Taking seats across from Cal and Meg. Lighting sighed ass he sat next to Cruz.
It would be fine though. Strictly professional. Cal looked at Lightning and asked, "How do you two like the room?" Lighting shrugged, "It's alright." Cruz then butted in with, "I still can't get use to all of these fancy places. It is so cool. I never knew these places even existed in real life before Tex and Cal started booking them for me." Lightning tried ignoring her. Cruz didn't understand. Did she upset him that badly? Or was it Sally? Did she know? No, of course not. But glancing at her. She looked amazing and so young. Cruz in this short black dress that went to her knees, the shoulders falling off hers, the chest of the dress tightly squeezing her breasts to the point they could probably just pop ut if she bent over. But then he noticed her bright yellow sneakers. Weird.
Her hair all curly and wavy and down over her shoulders. Her eyes covered in some smoky style. She looked hot. Fuck. He looked away before Sally could noticed. But Cruz's red lips just begged to have him taste her. Fuck. No. He was here with sally. Think about Sally. Not Cruz. This dinner was going to kill him. Tex rejoined the party. Sitting at the end of the table near Cal and Cruz. He held up his drink and said, "I want to thank. All of you for coming. And welcome back, Lightning. We need you. Sally, with your permission I'd like to have him back.' He winked. Sally snickered and nodded. Tex was happy with that and continued, "Cruz.. I hope you do some great things and win us a cup or two." Cruz happily replied, "Sure thing, Mr. Tex. Maybe I'll be the one to break the curse!:" She joked.
Cal snickered and reminded, "No one breaks the curse. Seven is your limit." Lightning agreed with, "Yeah, let's not even go there." Tex snickered as he sat down, "yeah, it's funny. I didn't believe in curses, but after my boy, Lightning here tried breaking it.. I'm starting to believe it." Cruz raised a brow and asked, "Who exactly has made it close to breaking it?" Tex ordered drinks for the table before continuing, "Well.. Other than Lighting here.. Strip.. Dale. That's three racers that tried and failed." Cal then adding, "And each one ended badly. Dale died." Cruz fronted a bit. She didn't understand. "It has to be coincidence." She argued. Lightning shrugged adding, "I don't know.. Three champions not being able to make it past seven and all three having major accidents over it.. Surely that's enough to scare anyone who dares try and best it." Cal nodded.
Cruz wasn't sure how she felt about out, but she had to get her fist cup fist to even start getting close to that lucky number seven. Food came before to long and everyone chatting and eating. Dinner was actually going well. Tex looked at Lightning and asked, "So are you officially back with the team? It's fine if you need a break still.. But I need to know how much longer to put Cal on the podium." Cal looked at Lightning with wide eyes and shook his head saying, "Don't make me go back up there." Cruz's brows lowered as she defended, "Hey, I'm not difficult to coach." Then looking at Lighting and asking, "Am I?" Lightning shook his head.
Cal then admitted, "Coaching is not my thing. The sooner I get you back up there, Light, the better for not just the team, but me." Meg then placed a hand over Cal's adding, "But.. If you and.. Sally need more time before coming back to work, we totally get it." Sally smile dat Meg for that. It was sweet of her friend to look after them like that. Cal raised a brow, he didn't understand everything yet. Meg leaned into her husband ear and whispered something so Cal nodded. Lightning saw that though and glanced at Sally. His expression a bit one of worry. Wondering what all she had told Meg. Didn't matter, it would be fine. Tex then ate another bite before asking Lightning, "Think you can come back soon?"
Lightning nodded answering, "I think so. I wouldn't mind getting back to work honestly. Sally could always come along, right?" He asked. Tex nodded. Cruz was hut by that. She had thought they might not work out. She wanted him. She wanted him to be with her again. Even if it was just for fun. She could hold onto the slight thread she had on him and wait the coming disaster out. Lightning then continued, "I'll coach Cruz this weekend then hopefully if things work well I can begin coming BAAH!" He yelped a bit and his fist hit the table! Everyone stared at him. His face turned red, flushed.
Cal leaned back in his seat and asked, "Are you okay?" Meg asking, "Are you choking?" Lightning swallowed nervously before answering, "No.. I.. Um… Bit my tongue.." Lie. Fuck! Cruz had her hand under the table, over his member and grabbing him. Rubbing his member through his jeans. Lightning took a deep breath. Trying not to make it obvious. Controlling his face and redness. Fuck. Sally stared at him and asked, "Are you sure you're okay?" Lightning nodded then looked at Cruz slowly and asked, "Cruz… Could you please go get some napkins for the table." "Nah, I'm good." She said with a playful smile.
Lightning glared at her. This fucking bitch. He could have her job for this shit! "Stickers?…." Sally called softly. Oh god she was suspicious. Lightning looked at her and his face red. Sally stared at him. Cruz still rubbing his pants. Getting him a bit worked up and gripping his slightly rigid member. Fuck. Fuck was all Lightning could think! Sally placed her hand over his knee! Lighting nervously chuckled and Placed his hand over Sally's on his knee. Mostly to keep her hand away form Cruz's fucking hand! This was bad. He was panicking. Everyone stared at him like he was drunk. Cal asking, "What's so funny?" Lightning stared at Cal.
But the feeling of Cruz'a assault and Sally's hand over his knee. Her hand shifted slightly into his inner thigh. "MMMNothing.. Thought of a.. Um.. Nothing. Sorry." He groaned a bit. He was acting so strange. Thankfully, everyone went back to chatting. But.. The touch of both women was sending him over the edge. Fuck no, he could not handle this right now. Lightning grabbed Cruz's hand with his hand. Stopping her stroking motions and moving her hand over to her own thigh. She stopped. Finally. But only because she noticed Sally's hand on his knee and didn't want to get Lightning in trouble…..
Everyone began leaving. Making their way to their own rooms. Tomorrow would be practice and seeing if Lightning and Cruz could get along professionally on the track. Lightning had mixed feelings about that now. Lightning unlocked the room door as Cruz walked up to her room across. She stared at them, at him. Lightning opened the door and stared at Cruz. He sighed. Thinking quickly before looking at Sally, "Go on in. I'll be a minute." Sally walked in and stared as Lightning closed the door on her. He stood there with Cruz who could tell he was a bit upset wit her. "Why did you do that during dinner?" He asked. Cruz smiled like an idiot. Like a kid in trouble with a parent. "I.. I'm sorry.." She mumbled.
Lightning sighed and rubbed his hands over his eyes. Frustrated. "Cruz.." He began, "This.. It never happened, alright?" "I'm sorry.. I just.. I didn't think you'd be bringing Sally along." "She's my wife" Lightning reminded sternly. Cruz just stared. Her heart hurt a bit because she wanted him. "Lightning.." "Don't call me that." He growled. Cruz starred t the floor. She felt embarrassed about dinner now. She thought they could just pick up where they left off. "I.. I"m sorry.." She repeated. Lightning nodded with, "Goodnight, Cruz." Then walked into his room to see Sally standing right there. Fuck. She heard them.
Sally crossed her arms and demanded to know what had gone on between Lightning and Cruz. Lightning stared at her. Fuck. His brows lowered as he admitted, "I was drinking! I drank a lot and one night I admitted everything to Cruz! What you did! The affair! How you were pregnant with ben's fucking baby and how I thought of you at the time! I fucked up and she knew everything and I was drinking again! Okay!? Sorry I'm yelling! I'm just frustrated…" He calmed down. Not meaning to snap, he was just afraid of being caught. Sally sighed. Not sure that was everything. The conversations weren't adding up, but he wasn't being clear. "Lightning.. What did Cruz do during dinner?" She asked. Lightning continued to look away.
There was no way he was telling this bitch the truth! She'd walk out on him! Then he'd just wind up back in Cruz's bed which he was trying to avoid right now! He wanted Sally! He loved Sally! Not Cruz! "Sally…I am asking that you drop this.. She just asked me some things that… about us because of the things I said to her while I was drunk, I'm sorry.. The things I told her were.. Cruel and.. I didn't mean half of it.. SO Cruz.. She didn't.. Understand why you were with me." "She hates me.." Sally muttered as she frowned. "She thinks I am a horrible person, doesn't she?' She asked. Lightning shrugged admitting, "She doesn't have the.. Best picture of you.. But.. I'm sorry. That's my fault.. I'll talk to her later about it.." "Right…"
Sally felt like crap hearing that. And at least for now, she believed him. Still weird though. So Cruz felt with Lightning drunk? "Are you still drinking?" Sally asked firmly. Lighting's eyes widened as he shook his head, "No. No, I.. I haven't in a while. I'm sorry.. I just.." He sighed. Admitting, "It was getting bad again.. Tex sent me home because of the drinking.. And it gave us time to talk.." Sally stared. That's why he came home? He was drinking so much that Tex sent him home!? He was getting bad again. Sally took Lightning's hands in hers and asked again, "Are you drinking still?" Lightning shook his head. "Are you lying?" She added in question.
Lightning shook his head. And he really was telling her truth,. About that part anyway. Sally sighed and nodded. "Alright.. You'd tell me of things got that bad again, right?.. Please?…" Lightning nodded. But did he mean it? Probably not. "I'm gonna have to head out to the track with Cruz in the morning, you want to come?" Sally shrugged asking, "How early are we talking?" "Four." "Sheesh.. You go on and I'll watch up to you when I get up." She said as she walked to the fridge to grab some water. Lightning sighed. He really hoped she'd come. That way, Cruz would leave him alone. It seemed just being gentle with Cruz wasn't working.
He was going to have to be more firm and hurt her feelings a bit to get her away. But then that would prevent him from doing his job as her crew chief. He was just going to have to have a good and stern talk with Cruz about this and about what he wanted. Sally…..
