Silas and Maureen arrived at the hospital, where his doctor was waiting for them.

"Are you Silas and Maureen Brown?", Dr. Trent asked.

"Yes. How is he? Is he okay?" Maureen asked.

"Unfortunately, when he got to the hospital, he was in critical condition. His right arm had been violently torn off his body, there was a large wound on his face, and his spinal cord had been severed from a metal roof. He was ejected from the passenger side. Sadly, he's paralyzed from the waist down. Paralysis is given by the injuries he sustained, which is sadly lifelong, meaning that he will not be able to walk again. He won't be able to feel anything in both of his legs, and his torso. In other words, he will have to be in a wheelchair, as he is officially paraplegic." Dr. Trent said with a heavy heart.

Silas cried on Charlie Brown's left arm, which was still attached to his body.

"What have I done, Maureen?! I shouldn't have let him go to that party! Now someone caused this!!!" Silas said.

"There there, Silas. Everything is going to be fine. Will he still ride the school bus?" Maureen comforted her husband, who was devastated by the news, saying, "There there."

"Yes, but your son is more likely to ride a Special Education school bus." Dr. Trent said.

"Excuse me," Silas said as he walked out of the hospital.

Then, Maureen heard Silas scream and swore angrily at what had happened.

"We'll make sure the school is aware of this." Maureen said.

"As for your daughter, she's in stable condition. She suffered minor injuries, so she'll be fine. But your son is going to have to stay in the hospital for surgery." Dr. Trent said.

Then, Charlie Brown woke up to see his mom after being knocked out for five hours.

"Mom, where's dad?" Charlie Brown asked.

"Charlie. The injuries are so severe, you'll have to learn how to use a wheelchair." Maureen said with a heavy heart.

"A wheelchair?" asked Charlie Brown.

"That's right. You do understand, do you?" Maureen said.

"I understand, mom." Charlie Brown said.

Charlie Brown was horrified and shocked by what had just happened.
