We Angry Few 2: Relapse in Behavior
Ch2: Surprise Party
Lo Wang and Rayne look on at this new threat in front of them, the Dhampir assassin radios Severin telling him, "Hey Sev, I'm gonna need you to bring my stuff to me ASAP… We have a problem." Lo Wang begins to fiddle around with something in his pant pocket but eventually raises both his hands. Both Kratos and The Doom Slayer draw both of their respective weapons. Hanzo looks down wind at Lo Wang with a deep resentment.
Lo Wang: Scorpy! I'd say it's good to see you but it's not! We've been over this, the Nobitsura Kage is mine! I'm the one that saved the Earth with it, I don't make the rules I just follow them!
Hanzo: The entirety of existence is in danger Lo Wang. You will hand over the sword now or we will take it!
Lo Wang: Oh yeah you and the most Schizophrenic Avenger, a souped up Power Ranger, and the frontman of a local death metal band? I think I'll take my chances.
Kratos: This is the assassin who defeated armies of demons? I am not impressed!
Lo Wang: You shut your fuckin' mouth, I don't even know who you are!
Kratos: I am Kratos of Sparta, and you have something we require. Now hand it over!
Rayne whispers in Lo Wang's ear "You're out numbered and overpowered. You might wanna listen to him…". Lo Wang does not listen to Rayne, he plants his feet and draws his Uzi from the the holster on his hip.
Lo Wang: LETS GET SOMETHING STRAIGHT HERE! NO ONE IS TAKING THE NOBITSURA KAGE! IT WAS A GIFT FROM A FRIEND!
Rayne: FOR CHRISTS SAKE WANG! THEY HAVE AN AVENGER! STAND DOWN!
Lo Wang: AND YOU'RE AN ASSASSIN FROM THE BRIMSTONE SOCIETY! WHATS YOU'RE POINT?!
Hulk smirks at this comment and begins to chuckle. The Jade giant looks down at Lo Wang telling him, "I'd listen to your girlfriend puny ninja.". Lo Wang finally looses it charging at Hanzo and his allies. Rayne gets a call from Severin in her comm link saying "We need him alive! Make do with what you have, DO NOT let them take him!". Rayne curses to herself and quickly runs to Lo Wang's armory.
Lo Wang stars spraying his Uzi and jumps right at Hanzo swinging the Nobitsura Kage. Hanzo using both of his katanas narrowly blocks Lo Wang's blade, as the two ninja fight Hulk tries to tackle the mouthy ninja but Wang is able to push him back using his Chi abilities. The Hulk crashes into a large stone pillar. Kratos and The Doom Slayer are the next to try and intervene but the light tapping of machine gun fire on the Doom Slayer's advanced armor causes him to turn and see Rayne with two Uzi's in hand and a sword strapped to her back, she scowls at the two warriors.
Rayne: I need him alive!
Kratos and The Slayer look at each other and then begin to pace around her. Kratos, "We have no intentions of killing the ninja. We only seek the blade he possesses!". With every step Kratos takes the Blades of Chaos catch fire becoming hotter with every step.
Rayne: Then let's talk! We're all on the same side here right?
The three heroes all look at each other but before they could intervene in the fight between Hanzo and Wang the Hulk clubs Rayne from behind with his giant fist into the stone wall. She slowly gets back up snarling and hissing revealing her vampiric fangs and the Hulk roars back in return. The Doom Slayer sees her fangs and says to himself "She's a demon…" and the three of them immediately charge at each other.
Meanwhile Hanzo and Wang are in an intense duel of blades. Their blades interlocked as one tries to over power the other.
Lo Wang: I'm surprised you didn't bring Grandmaster Blue Berry Ice, your telepathic apprentice, or even Liverpool's cuntiest Wizard! Where are all your friends Scorpy?
Hanzo: I could ask you the same!
Hanzo then pulls one of his katanas one his katanas away swiping at Lo Wang's throat only for him to narrowly dodge it by flipping backwards. Lo Wang then uses the Chi from the Nobitsura Kage to try and defeat Hanzo, with each swing a wave of Chi comes at Hanzo but the grandmaster of the Shirai Ryu is too quick for that. He dodges them all with sheer acrobatic prowess jumping over each wave. Lo Wang then starts shooting an entire magazine at Hanzo but his bullets are no match for hellfire. Hanzo raises his hands and plants his feet summoning the fires of hell to encompass his entire body and the ground surrounding him melting the bullets before they can make contact.
Lo Wang: GODDAMNIT!
The two of them get ready to charge at each other again when suddenly there is a large explosion in the ceiling of the cave that stops all of the fighting. Lo Wang smiles and pumps his fist in the air yelling "FUCK YEAH! ITS ABOUT TIME YOU SHOWED UP HIDEO!", the ninja then flashes his phone to Hanzo with a prompt on his phone saying "SOMEONE IS ATTACKING YOUR WANG!".
Lo Wang: How come you're the Grandmaster of a Ninja Clan and didn't bring any ninjas?! Look at my ninja homies!
The enthusiasm from Lo Wang comes to an end when he sees men in white armor repelling down into his compound. Dozens of the soldiers surround the six heroes and they call begin to look around and see they are surrounded. These men are all heavily armed with machine guns, shotguns, assault rifles. The cave is now filled with the sound of guns cocking and finally someone in a large robotic mech suit crashes down into the cave causing a loud crash to be echo throughout the cave.
The mech suit is clearly modeled after the Samurai armor of Japan's past. The mech stands fifteen feet tall with a cockpit visible within the helmet of armor. Lo Wang looks at the cockpit's windshield to see not only that there is someone piloting it, but it's also a familiar face behind the wheel.
Lo Wang: ZILLA?!
Using the speakers inside the mech Zilla projects his voice. He looks down upon Lo Wang and the other heroes who are all reassessing their surroundings, "Lo Wang, it hasn't nearly been long enough since the last time I saw! But I have come for the Nobitsura Kage, I paid you handsome fee to deliver it to me, be thankful I'm not making you reimburse me as well!". The heroes all turn to Lo Wang who's visibly enraged by what Zilla is saying.
Lo Wang: FUCK YOU ZILLA! THIS WAS FROM HOJI!
Zilla: Yes, the dead trickster god… It's a shame that you saved Japan, the whole world even and you couldn't save him….
Lo Wang lets out a blood curdling war cry charging Zilla's mech, with a wave of his hand Zilla's men begin to open fire on the heroes. A massive brawl ensues between Zilla's men and the various heroes all around Lo Wang as he runs toward the samurai mech suit. Lo Wang shoots at the cockpit with his Uzi but the glass is bulletproof, the bullets barely leave a dent as the hit the glass. Lo Wang jumps up ready to slice into the mech but is then caught by mech midair. Zilla pulls his former ally toward his face squeezing Lo Wang tightly, the two of them exchange looks with each other. Zilla looks on at Lo Wang calmly and poised while despite Lo Wang trying to squirm out of the mech's hand clearly in pain he scowls back at Zilla. The mech applies just enough pressure to cause Lo Wang to open up his hands causing the Nobitsura Kage to fall out them, Zilla quickly catches the Nobitsura Kage dropping Lo Wang onto the ground.
Zilla: We have what we need! Everyone fall back!
Zilla uses the jet thrusters in his mech to fly back up to the surface through the hole while many of the men begin to launch grappling hooks zipping back up. Hanzo turns to see Zilla's mech flying back up with Nobitsura Kage in hand and Lo Wang taking one of his soldiers grappling hooks. The ninja grandmaster turns to see Hulk still fighting with some soldiers and yells to him, "Hulk! Don't let them get away with the sword!".
The green Goliath turns to see Zilla and many of his men getting away so he jumps up toward the hole knocking Lo Wang and many of Zilla's men away, Hulk grabs onto the foot of Zilla's mech but from the corner of his eye he sees a femine figure with strange hair hovering slightly above Zilla. The woman descends revealing herself to be Mokoto the Witch of Dragon Mountain and she quickly blasts the Hulk with a bolt of lightning causing the Avenger to fall crashing to the ground, with a snap of her fingers she, Zilla, and all their men disappear. Both Hulk now transforming back into Bruce Banner and Lo Wang pick themselves up from the ground. Rayne walks over to Lo Wang while Hanzo, The Slayer, and Kratos check on Banner.
Rayne: Hey there karate kid, you good?
Lo Wang: Very funny vampiric daddy issues… I'll manage.
From across the way Hanzo yells to Lo Wang, "YOU IMBECILE!". Rayne and Lo Wang both turn to see Hanzo now covered in fire walking towards them.
Hanzo: How could you just open yourself like that!? Leaving yourself defenseless, did Master Leap teach you anything?
Lo Wang begins to wave his finger around telling Hanzo, "You keep Master Leap's name out of fucking mouth! He was a better teacher than that pale necrophiliac any day of the week!". Hanzo's body only catches more flames around his body and the other heroes are unsure of what to do but suddenly new voices can be heard asking, "Lo Wang are you okay?". Various ninjas begin to repel down into the cave alongside what appears to be a demon in a biker jacket. The ninja continuing to descend into a cave when Severin begins to descend with a duffle bag full of Rayne's weapons repels down with them. The leader of the ninja clan, Hideo and Larry the demon who runs the gun shop in town make their way towards the party, the flames that engulf Hanzo begin to dissipate.
Larry: Sorry Lo Wang, we came as soon as we could!
The demonic gunsmith then shows his phone revealing the prompt as well as the automated recording of Lo Wang's voice saying "SOMEONE IS ATTACKING YOUR WANG!". Severin pulls Rayne away from the group and speaks with her privately.
Severin: Terribly sorry for running late, Zilla's men caused a little bit of a ruckus in town.
Rayne: All good, just crazy that all this happens when we're in town…
Severin looks to see that he recognizes not only Dr. Bruce Banner and Hanzo Hasashi but he also sees the Ghost of Sparta.
Severin: My god, Rayne do you know who those two are over there?
Rayne: Should I?
Severin: If you read the "Myth among Myths" book I told you about that's the Ghost of Sparta but it's just…
Rayne: What?
Severin: According to the book there were tablets found in Ancient Greece kills such as Perseus, Hercules, Zeus, Baldur, and Odin.
Rayne: And anybody familiar with the supernatural or superheroes knows Hercules is an Avenger and the others are speculated to be alive and well.
Severin: Exactly… You don't think this could be related to you having visions of an alternate timeline?
Rayne: Could be… We should ask.
While the two monster hunters are talking amongst themselves, Lo Wang and Hanzo are having a rather heated discussion.
Hanzo: The Nobitsura Kage is one of the most powerful weapons in the known universe and not only have you misused it these last few years, you have now lost it someone who values money and power over life!
Lo Wang: Yeah I get it Scorpy! We're in a tough pickle! What do you want me to do? I can't exactly magically summon it to me!
Hanzo: You used to work for Zilla right? Do you know where he's going?
Lo Wang: Probably his private city, which has now become impregnable fortress.
Kratos: I have laid waste to both Mount Olympus and Asgard, no fortress is impregnable.
Lo Wang raises an eye at Kratos and nonchalantly begins to nod his head saying, "Who exactly are you hanging with Scorpy?" to which Hanzo replies, "Do NOT call me that. My name is Hanzo Hasashi and these are my newfound allies Bruce Banner, Kratos of Sparta, and Stan Blazkowicz. You are familiar with demon's and their culture tell me you must know him by appearance…". Lo Wang looks the Doom Slayer up and down and tells Hanzo, "No not ringing any bells but I'm assuming he's some kind of bogeyman for demons?". Hanzo nods his head at Lo Wang telling him, "Indeed!".
Kratos: Who is the woman that you are with?
Lo Wang: That's Rayne, shes vampire assassin for the Brimstone Society. They're some secret monster hunting society based of France.
Hanzo: I am familiar with them, during my days as Quan Chi my paths crossed with theirs.
Lo Wang's eyes widen with almost childlike like glee "You know what! We should team up!". All the heroes even Rayne and Severin look confused. Hanzo puts his hand on his shoulder, "That will be not necessary just point us to the direction of Zilla and we-"
Lo Wang: No no noooo! Listen Hanzo baby think about! Me, you, an Avenger, two hunters from Brimstone, and your other two friends? Zilla won't know what him! Look I'll sweeten the deal you help get my lick back on Zilla, you keep the Nobitsura Kage to fight whatever war! Sound fair?
The group of heroes all look at each other unsure of what to do. While they all know Lo Wang is a talented martial artist with expert swordsman and marksman skills, he's ultimately too cocky and a risk. Hanzo turns to the Doom Slayer telling him, "Slayer, open a portal to the Fire Gardens. We can discuss Battle Plans there.". The Slayer begins to press on some buttons on his wrist gauntlet and a large portal opens behind them.
Lo Wang: Hideo! Larry! Hold down the fort real quick and be ready for anything!
Both Larry and Hideo nod and begin to monitor the cave. Hanzo, Lo Wang, Bruce Banner, Kratos, and The Slayer all begin to walk through the portal but then Lo Wang says "Rayne and Trench Coat you coming?". Rayne begins to catch up with the rest of them and Severin trails behind them, as he walks through the portal closes leaving just the ninjas and Larry in the Wang Cave patiently waiting for a plan of attack.
