"Demon Twins?" I asked
"Yup." Luna said
"Well okay then. I want to make sure people know that Luna has our protection. So I want two of you to help her back to her common room. Adrian, I hope you will start looking into a way for us to communicate with the two that are not in our house." I said
"Of course." Adrian said
I stood up.
"If I am right about the Headmaster, we must be even more cautious." I said
They all stand up as well and nod their heads. I turn and leave the common room, I can hear footsteps behind me. I walk into my room and flop on my bed, and hear the door shut and lock.
"Are you alright?" Adom asked
"No, my head is killing me. He keeps trying to get back in, but I won't let him." I said
"You still haven't talked to him since the day you shut him out?" Adom asked
"No, this is the longest I've gone without him since I first heard him." I said
"I am so going to regret saying this. Let him back in Amara. As much as I don't like that fact that his in your head always, you need him. He has been there for you, plus it will give me some peace knowing that he is there to protect you if I can't." Adom said
I tilt my head and look at him.
"What do you mean, he can't protect me he is just a voice in my head." I said
He moved fast and was looming over me and my chin was in his hand and he was looking down at me.
"Don't play stupid it is unbecoming of a person of your status and brain." Adom said
I moved my eyes away from him.
"Look at me when I talk to you." Adom said
I look back at him.
"We both know he is more than just a voice." Adom said
He leaned down and kissed my forehead before turning and leaving the room, I let out a breath. I got up and changed and then sat back down on the bed. I let out a deep breath, then laid back on the bed, and closed my eyes. I then let the wall that blocked Tom fall. I felt his presence immediately. Neither one of us said anything, neither one of us wanted to be the first to talk.

My group was walking around the courtyard when we saw Jr, Carrot Top, and the Squirrel. Most of my group was leaving for Christmas break. Adom, Draco, Theo, and I were the only ones from my group staying. Jr was getting looks of hate and fear directed his way. The irritating trio were soon joined by Carrot Top's two older brothers.
One twin soon starts to yell.
"Make way for the Heir of Slytherin! Seriously evil wizards coming through!" the one twin yelled
Carrot Top grins, amused, however Jr. not so much.
"Oh, c'mon, James. Fred's just having a laugh." Carrot Top said
"He's the only one." Jr. said
"Okay, so half the school thinks you're nipping off the Chamber of Secrets every night. Who cares?" Carrot Top asked
"Maybe they're right." Jr said
My group all shared looks.
"James!" Squirrel said
"I didn't know I could talk to snakes. What else don't I know about myself? Maybe you can do something… even something horrible… and not know you did it." Jr said
"You don't believe that James, I know you don't. And if it makes you feel better, I just heard Malfoy and his group are staying over for holiday, too." Squirrel said
"Why would that make anyone feel better?" Carrot Top asked
"Because, in a few days, the Polyjuice Potions will be ready. In a few days…we may truly know who the Heir of Slytherin is." Squirrel said
They then turn and leave the courtyard.
"I can't believe they just had that conversation in the middle of the courtyard." I said
"I can't believe they still think I'm the heir, a part of me is flattered another part is not so much." Draco said
"The fact that Jr believes a rumor about himself. I mean he has to know if he can talk to snakes or not." Theo said
"Did you notice that he didn't say what the skill is called, simply that he could talk to snakes." Adom said
"I can tell you for a fact that he cannot speak, Parseltongue." I said
"How do you know that?" Draco asked
"Because I can." I said
I then turned and headed back into the castle. They all yelled my name and chased after me.
"You can't say something like that and then just leave." Draco said
"I believe that I just did." I said
"Can you?" Theo asked
I just kept walking. We quickly made our way to the common room.
"Come on Amara." Draco said
"Can we hear?" Theo asked
"~Happy now~" I said
The entire common room went quiet.
"You really can speak Parseltongue." Draco said
"Of course, I can." I said
"How can you speak it? In the past, the only ones that can speak that language are those that are from the Slytherin line." Theo said
"So, the Slytherin line is a branch of an even older family Peverell line." I said
"Wait that's the family from the Death Hallows story." Draco said
"That it is, but they were real people. They had families before the stories were written. The only brother that didn't was Antioch." I said
"So which brother was the first Slytherin related to?" Theo asked
"Cadmus" I said
"That's the brother who in the story was given the resurrection stone." Draco said
"Who is a descendant of the other brother?" Theo asked
"The Potters." Draco said
My group looked at him.
"How did you get to that answer?" Theo asked
"My father attended school when adult Potter did. Potter and his friends would pull pranks but never get caught. It would stand to reason that he had something that made him invisible but also wouldn't be undone by a spell. That would only leave an invisibility cloak and a very strong one at that." Draco said
"Wait you are talking as if the story was real." Theo said
"All stories are loosely based on truth." Adom said
The group was quiet for a moment.
"Amara, what brother are you related to?" Draco asked
The group looked at me.
"Whoever said I got my gift based on the brothers?" I asked
"Didn't you?" Draco asked
"Nope. I didn't get it through my family." I said
Theo and Draco looked at me.
"Now then tonight I am putting my plan into motion to get the annoying trio into trouble. I want the common room to be empty. Can you two make sure that no one is down here after curfew?" I asked
"Yes." They both said
"Good." I said
I got up and left the common room and headed to my dorm. As I walked, I thought about the fact that Tom still hadn't talked to me. I also could feel Adom following behind me. Once we were in the safety of my room, he broke the silence.
"You know this is the first time you've created a plan and not it talked over with me." Adom said
"I didn't know I had to talk all of my plans over with you." I said
I could feel his eyes glaring at the back of my head.
"Did you talk it over with him?" Adom asked
"No. He still hasn't talked to me since I took down the wall." I said
"So, what is the plan?" Adom asked
"I'm going to show some of my hand to Professor Snape." I said
"Are you sure?" Adom asked
"No, but I can't move against the annoying trio without showing my entire hand. With Snape, I will have to do less, but it might cost me more." I said
"Do you know what you will have to do, say, and act?" Adom asked
I turned and glared at him.
"I would have expected more support from you, now you're starting to sound like Tom." I said
"Do not compare me to him. Of course, I support you." Adom said
"Well, you're not acting like it. You keep second-guessing everything I do." I said
Adom took a step towards me, and I took a step back.
"Get out. I want to be alone." I said
"Amara -" Adom started
"No. Get out. If you don't leave voluntarily, I will make you leave." I said
Adom nods his head and leaves my room. Once the door is closed, I lock the door. I lay down on my bed and looked up at the ceiling.

I was not changing the subject I was simply saying hello.
You still have not answered the question. - Mathayus said
I got mad and locked Tom out of my head, and he has not come back since I unlocked the door. What if he does not come back? What if he is gone for good?
He will come back, you just have to give him time.- Mathayus said
I know but he has always been there, and I was stupid and took something he said so personally. I know what he is like, but still locked him out over nothing.
It was not nothing. What he said was mean and he might not have meant it to sound that way but it did. - Mathayus said
How do you know what he said?
There are parts of your head that we can't get to, and there are times that we cannot hear the conversations that happen in that part of your head. But that conversation was one we all heard. - Mathayus said
Who is all?
Imhotep, Anubis, and myself. - Mathayus said
Do you guys hear everything?
No. Only some. Most of the time you put up a barrier that blocks us out without you knowing that you did, but sometimes you do not. - Mathayus said
We were both quiet for a moment.
I will have to be more careful in the future. Are you sure he will come back?
Amara, he cannot go anywhere unless you remove him from your head, and all you did was block him from talking to you. Right now, his ego is bruised, and he is being a child. Do not worry he will come back. - Mathayus said
Okay.
What else are you not saying? - Mathayus said
Before Imhotep, I would talk about my plans with Tom. Then when Imhotep came along this last time, I started to talk them over with both. But this plan I did not talk over with Imhotep and I did not talk it over with Tom. So, I do not know if it is the right move.
I understand. I have a question for you. Who are you? - Mathayus said

After the conversation I had with Mathayus I changed and made my way to the now empty common room. I sat in my chair by the fire and waited for Draco, who did not keep me waiting. He walked before me and bowed.
"Go and bring me, Professor Snape." I said
"Of course." he said
He got up and quickly left the common room. It didn't take him long to come back with Professor Snape. Snape took one look at me and turned to look at Draco.
"What is the meaning of this?" Snape asked
Draco did not take his off of me.
"You can go now Draco." I said
Draco gave a quick bow and then left the common room. Snape turned fast and glared at me.
"How dare you call me here like this. I am your Head of House." Snape said
I tilted my head and looked at him.
"Are you really?" I asked
Snape glared. I motioned to the couch.
"Come have a seat we have much to talk about." I said
"I would rather not." Snape said
"Very well, stand." I said
He continued to glare at me.
"Why was I bought here?" Snape asked
"I have an opportunity for you." I said
Snape narrowed his eyes at me.
"How would you like to bust the annoying trio for breaking school rules?" I asked
He continued to glare at me.
"What rules?" Snape asked
"Stealing, brewing an advanced potion without supervision or permission, and breaking into a different house by using this potion." I said
Snape's well-created mask disappeared for a second when his eyes got big, but he quickly covered it.
"Which potion?" Snape asked
"You are a smart man figure it out." I said
I wanted to know how fast he could work through everything to figure it out.
"Polyjuice." Snape said
"Correct, now can you figure out which common room they plan on breaking into?" I asked
"Slytherin." Snape said
"Once again correct." I said
Snape went back to glaring at me.
"Why tell me? Why not go straight to the Headmaster?" Snape asked
"And suddenly not so smart." I said
"How dare you." Snape yelled
"I mean come on, that was a stupid question. Why do you think I didn't go straight to the Headmaster? He would simply make it disappear without anyone finding out, to protect not only his shining image but also the image of Potter. In telling you, you can bust them make a big scene and deal about it, which will make sure that what they did will spread not just through the school but to those outside of the school." I said
"How do you mean?" Snape asked
Now he was testing me. I gave him a smirk. I leaned back in my chair and crossed my legs.
"On Christmas Eve they will put their plan in motion. They will make it into the common room, where myself and what is left of my court will be waiting. We will keep them in the common room long enough for their potion to start fading. That is where you will come in, as the youngest person to ever become a potion master you will be able to see that they are under the effects of the Polyjuice potion. You will then drag them from the common room to the Great Hall where everyone else is. You will say what happened and list the rules they have broken. As well as the one rule that everyone has followed, which is not to enter the common room of another house without the permission of someone within said house. Dumbledore will do nothing; the Potters and Black will do nothing. Everyone in the Great Hall will see that no matter what Potter does he will never be punished. They will talk and they will write, and it will make it outside of Hogwarts where years, and years, and years of Hogwarts graduates are and they will hear of what happened and how nothing was done to punish them." I said
"And they will be the ones to deal out punishment." Snape said
"Exactly. I admit it won't be something huge, but it will be enough. It will show the British Wizarding World that the Potters, Dumbledore, and even Black have no intention of following the rules or traditions that have been set forth." I said
"It will make the divide even bigger." Snape said
"No. Because those who have already known this will have some validation. It will also show those who have blindly followed a new side of Dumbledore and Potter." I said
The room would have been completely silent if not for the fire crackling. I got up and walked over to Snape.
"Think about it, Professor. You will finally be getting some type of revenge against them. Think about the looks they will get the next time they walk into some big party, or when they walk down Diagon Ally. Imagine what will be said about them. Can't you just see it damaging their perfect little image? I know I can." I said
As I spoke, I made a circle around the professor till I was standing in front of him again. He looked conflicted about it, but I knew what I had to do to make home bend to my will.

Theo, Draco, Adom, and I were making our way back to the common before heading to the Great Hall for the Christmas Eve feast. When we hear voices.
"Don't swing your arms like that. Crabbe holds them sort of stiff." one voice said
There is a moment of silence.
"Yeah. That's better." the voice said again
We turn the corner and see Crabbe and Goyle. Who now stands in front of Percy Weasley.
"What are you doing here?" fake Goyle said
I take note that he doesn't sound like Goyle at all. I roll my eyes at their stupidity. The fake Goyle clears his throat and then asks again.
"What are you doing here?" fake Goyle asked again
"I happen to be perfect. You, on the other hand, have no business wandering the corridors so close to the feast." Percy said
The fake Crabb and Goyle nod their heads. Percy squints.
"What're your names again?" Percy asked
I nod at Draco.
"Crabbe. Goyle. Where have you been? Pigging out before the feast?" Draco asked
Draco and the rest of us move towards them.
"And what are you doing down here, Weasley?" Draco asked
"Mind your attitude, Malfoy. You want to show a little bit more respect to a school Prefect!" Percy said
"He wasn't rude, he asked you a simple question." I said
Percy glared at me.
"Let's go. Weasley thinks he's going to catch Slytherin's heir single-handed." I said
We turn and leave the corridor and quickly make it the rest of the way down to the common room. We are ahead of the imposters, we make it in and into the common room, and the imposters barely make it in. We sit on the couch in front of the fire and Draco picks up a copy of The Daily Prophet and starts reading it.
"'Arthur Weasley, Head of the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office, was today fined fifty Galleons for bewitching a Muggle car. 'Weasley has brought the Ministry into disrepute,' said Lucius Malfoy, a governor of Hogwarts. 'He is unfit to draft up our laws and his ridiculous Muggle Protection Act should be scrapped immediately.'" Draco read
Draco lays the paper down and looks up the imposters.
"Arthur Weasley loves Muggles so much he should snap his wand in half and go join them. You'd never know the Weasleys were purebloods, the way they behave. Embarrassment to the wizarding world. All of them." Draco said
Fake Crabbe lets out a small growl, we all look at him while Fake Goyle elbows him.
"Are you okay, Crabbe?" Draco asked
"Stomachache." Fake Crabbe said
"Well, go to the hospital wing and give all those Muggleborns a kick in the arse for me! You know, I'm surprised the Prophet hasn't reported all these attacks yet. I suppose Dumbledore's trying to hush it all up. He'll be sacked if it doesn't stop soon. Father always said Dumbledore's the worst thing that's ever happened to this place." Draco said
"You're wrong!" Fake Goyle yelled
"What? Did you say that I was wrong? You think there's someone here who's worse than Dumbledore?" Draco asked
Both fakes stiffen, worried.
"All of the Potter's." Fake Goyle said
"Good one, Goyle. You're absolutely right. Saint Potter and his parents. There's more with no proper wizard feeling, or they wouldn't go around with that Muggleborn Granger. And people actually think he's the Heir of Slytherin." Draco said
The fakes exchange looks.
"Then you must have some idea who's behind it all?" Fake Goyle asked
"You know I haven't, Goyle. How many times do I have to tell you? But my father did say this much: It's been fifty years since the Chamber was opened. He wouldn't tell me who opened it - only that they were expelled - but I know this, the last time the Chamber of Secrets was opened, a Muggleborn died. So it's only a matter of time before one of them's killed this time." Draco said
Draco grins, and Crabbe's fist rises…when Goyle stops him.
"Are you two really, okay? You are acting very odd. Mean you don't even usually talk to us." I said
Fake Goyle goes to say something, but Professor Snape comes barreling into the room. Just as the faces of the two fakes start to move like something is under their skin. He grabs the boys by their collars and pulls them out of the common room. Theo, Draco, Adom, and I exchange looks and quickly follow the Professor and the screaming children out of the common room and to the Great Hall. Along the way, we see the real Crabbe and Goyle stumble out of a broom closet. They join us on our walk.
The doors of the Great Hall slam open, Snape throws the boys onto the ground. Everyone turns and looks at us. They look at the Crabbe and Goyle standing with me and then to the two on the ground.
"Professor Snape, what is the meaning of this?" Dumbledore asked
"These two boys have broken school rules. One of which is not entering the common room of another house without permission. They also stole potion ingredients and brewed an OWLS-level potion without permission or supervision." Snape said
"And what potion would that be?" Dumbledore asked
"Well seeing as we are looking at two Crabbe's and two Goyle's. I wouldn't be much of a leap to assume that it was the Polyjuice Potion." Professor Flitwick said
"Correct." Snape said
"Well then, we will just have to wait and see which two people think that they are above such cardinal rules." Professor Bathsheda Babbling said
We didn't have to wait too much longer as soon red hair started to show on Crabbe's head, and green eyes on the other. I could also hear the people in the hall whispering to each other about what was going to happen. A few moments later gaps and sounds of rage filled the hall as the fakes were gone and Jr and Carrot Top were now standing in front of us.
"Silence" Dumbledore yelled out
The hall went quiet.
"I'm sure this is all a misunderstanding." Dumbledore said
"How is it a misunderstanding? I found these two in the Slytherin Common Room. While on the way here found Mr. Goyle and Mr. Crabbe stumbling from a broom closet. They were drugged." Professor Snape said
"I'm sure my Mr. Potter and Mr. Weasley did not drug anyone." Dumbledore said
"What will their punishment be? They stole from Hogwarts. They broke into a different house's common room. They brewed and took a potion they have never been taught, a potion that I do not teach till sixth year. They could have done something wrong which could have killed them or exploded. What are you going to do about it?" Snape asked
The hall was silent, no one said a thing. Everyone was looking at Dumbledore waiting for him to say something.
"They will have dentition for a month." Dumbledore said
Most of the hall gasped in outrage.
"That is not enough." I said
Everyone looked at me.
"They could have killed themselves or someone else. They broke over a dozen school rules. They disgraced themselves, and their houses. They entered the common room of a different house without permission. They are disgraced and show they have no care for anyone or any of the rules. And all you're going to do is give them detention." I said
"Yes. I'm sure they had everything under control. Now let's get back to the feast." Dumbledore said
"No." I said
I turned and left the Great Hall. I knew that all of the Slytherin had followed me out. As did all of the Ravenclaws, and a good portion of the Hufflepuffs. We arrived back at the common room. Once the common room door was shut, I turned to my snakes.
"You will write home. You will write to everyone you know. Tell them of what happened here tonight. How those two boys broke such important rules. How they were not punished for their crimes. How they disrespected Lady Magic by during it on the eve of Yule. If the Headmaster won't deal out our justice we will, and our families will, and every other person who has attended Hogwarts and knows what they have done." I said
Everyone nodded their heads.
