The Noble Diaries

Disclaimer: I do not own Halo or The Vampire Diaries in any way, shape, or form. They belong to their respective owners.

savitarsurffer: Maybe, but first impressions are important, and Six has already formed an opinion on Damon and his blatant disregard for victims.

Edboy4926: Don't worry, that'll change soon. He might not know Star Wars, but when people start seeing him in his armour and carrying an Energy Sword around, they might start nicknaming him Darth Vader, especially if he grabs an EOD helmet.

ParadoxTheory: Good. And Damon learns that a Spartan, even an unarmoured one is not to be taken lightly. As for the blood, you'll have to wait and see.

CrimsonN7: Some will hate him, whereas other that don't want to be vampires will be cueing up to get his blood. She probably will be in this story/universe.

marlastiano: Thanks!

NightEternity: It'll happen soon. And there's more this chapter.

Nicogen: Five hundred years in the future? They'd have to be, or maybe even universes. And glad you noticed...not that I was subtle about it, lol.

Grudgematch: You'll have to wait and see.

Daua002: Love both theories, though the second one a little more.

Sniperbro1998: I'm glad, that's what I was going for. And I don't know if I would call vampire Damon fun, he does a lot of pretty fucked up stuff as a vampire such as killing Jeremy just because both Elena and Katherine rejected him in a single day and that's one of the tamer things he done. And sometimes a firm hand is needed, especially when it comes to a Spartan.

Azai Jin: You're welcome. And I bet. And there's more interactions between Six and Elena this chapter. There are certainly going to be some butterfly effects throughout season 1 because of Damon being out of the picture. Thanks for the kind words, appreciate it.

kripky: I'm glad!

Savior16: She really does. And we'll see.

GrimmPandaMan: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. Honestly, the shit that Damon pulls in season 1 still bugs me. Killing Lexi, Stefan's best friend on his birthday, what a dick!

The Disquieting One: A Sangheili with an active camo would probably be the ultimate hunter in the Vampire Diaries universe, and a Jiralhanae would have a field day with a vampire, especially an Original who would be an all-you-can-eat buffet with their healing factor.

xXwolfsterXx644: Glad you liked it, and Six would definitely need his armour to take on an Original. His Mark V putting him on equal footing, strength-wise and superior durability. But Mark VI, VII, Gen-2 and Gen-3 would make him stronger than them.

DeathCrawler: You'll see some this chapter.

Guest: Thanks.

Nato: I'm glad, and I don't think it'll be any good to him at this point. She is, and she might. You'll just have to wait and see.

Rios: I was! I hope that this chapter was worth the wait.

War Sage: Six does have some morals, lol. And Six and Stefan are similar in many way, though Stefan is obviously more romantic than Six will probably ever be. Well, a vampires healing factor is ridiculously powerful. Damon managed to regrow his eyes after Pearl gouged them out, so I don't see why he wouldn't survive having his arm ripped off. And while they can't regrow limbs, at least according to Enzo, they can reattach them...but that won't be possible for Damon since it's been too long, and it would've decomposed.

And I'm not sure if his blood will work on werewolf's since unlike vamps, that's passed down genetically. And Damon being down and out for the moment will have a massive effect on season 1 such as Vicki living, Caroline not being his blood bag, Zach not being murdered, same with Lexi. She is...even if it's mostly to mess or help Six. Dot might meet Logan Fell through Jenna, but if anything, it'll be Liz or going to the Founders Party that introduces her to the council.

Just a little nod at her future as a doctor if she still becomes one in this story. And Zach's girlfriend died in 1994 after Damon with his humanity off killed her with Stefan compelling Zach to forget about her, but Sarah is still alive and with Zach living he might even get to meet her in this universe.

Morgriff: You're welcome!

vadrulesall: Can't I?"

sebgon78: His Reaper Days are arguably worse than the Fall of Reach, and Bonnie having to watch him dealing with the Insurrectionists will be just as traumatic as seeing the Covenant glass Reach.

MarauderPrime12: Easily.

fridgeraiderz: You're welcome, and I'm glad you liked the scenes with Six and Elena.

Sixfan29: It might not have been as quick this time, but at least you didn't have to wait months like last time. Well, there's more this chapter which I hope that you'll also like. They are, even if Six will probably deny it, lol. And it does, but mostly because Elena has spent more time with Six than Stefan. You'll have to wait and see, but if it does, then I'm sure that Rebekah and countless other vampires that want to be cured will want his blood.

That's true. And no, at least normal vampires can't. I think it was mentioned that Klaus had his head cut off and it simply grew back. It will, and probably for the better too considering how many people are killed by Damon in season 1.

nagiten: He was, and it really will. Though those that never chose to become a vampire will be lining up to get cured, no doubt. He's trying to think logically, and probably there being more aliens in the milky way probably never crossed his mind.

Devon18: There will be some soon, probably at the Founders party with Six offering Bonnie a dance. And she really does and would which is why I don't want to show her anything too traumatic. And to fight an Original, Six will need his armour. Thanks, and will do!

Master of the Underworld: Would be a fun idea, one that I might incorporate into a different chapter. And pretty much, yeah.

Brainstorm Sorcerer: I had a feeling that you were going to enjoy the fight, lol. Well, from his company, but if/when Damon does get a cybernetic replacement, maybe there's a tracker in it allowing Six and Dot to keep track of him. And I think that it could/will become a recurring theme with Six, much to their annoyance when he brings logic into their favourite shows/games/films, etc, etc. And unintentional game, too.

And it really is. And ripping Tanner definitely put Six/Jericho in Jenna's good books. It was more that the bone and limb was out/off his body, so it started aging rapidly to reach its actual age which is over a hundred years old. Yeah, Six will get over it soon...but after a lifetime of living by logic, it won't just go away overnight. Zach really does, and if he remembers/learns that he has a daughter that he forgot due to Stefan compelling him too, he'll be angry with him too. And Bonnie and Caroline no doubt will be jealous, but their time will come!

The punches only damaged the skull externally, his fist never actually went inside it. If it did, Six would have killed him. Six and Dot gave the cops a false story since they know that normal people be no match against Damon and just get themselves killed. Stefan, being the more cautious of the two, will give Jericho some space for a while not wanting him to misunderstand why he's there. And I don't think that Stefan has any feeling regarding Six, other than caution now, and since he and everyone else can see that he has no interest in Elena or anyone, he's probably not worried.

If/when it comes to a mission and Elena or anyone else try and get him to hang out, he will flatly decline since that takes precedence over everything, at least in his books. And when more vamps start showing up, I think that they'll have too, that or place a few robot sentries on watch. And yes, Damon still has his daylight ring. Elena will probably keep that info to herself, something to have over the others.

Bonnie is playing the waiting game, lol. With Stefan and Elena, while it wasn't a thing back then, in-universe I'm guessing that it was down to the Doppelganger thing. Bonnie would definitely know him on a level deeper than anyone else, even if it's probably one of the worst experiences of her life. I do like the idea of Six and Matt working on the Chevelle together, and since he can drive two cars, he would hand Matt the keys. And it will probably be red like the Jack Reacher movie, black being more Six's colour than Matt's.

And he's going to deny it for as long as he can...even if everyone knows that it is. How do you bully an A.I? Simple, you don't, she bullies you! Pretty much everyone but Damon and Liz die on the council, I think. And I don't see why Damon wouldn't be. Caroline can punch a hole through Stefan's fuel tank on his motorbike when her humanity was off, and that's one of the weaker feats of vampires, and while he's much, much stronger than normal vamps, Elijah casually flipped a motorhome. And maybe not the next day, but within a few days the deep bruises will be gone.

Like in the Furious Wolf, Disney's Hercules will be in danger. Don't worry, Six will get over his no-kill rule pretty soon.

aljericho2001: He probably will be doing that when he starts taking the threat seriously.

Chapter 6.

The sunlight hitting her in the back of the eyes, Elena mumbled in displeasure as she was stirred from her sleep. Turning, she pulled the covers around her and flipped the pillow around. Smiling at coolness, she snuggled into said pillow and tried to drift off again...before it suddenly dawned on her.

Her eyes snapping open, she turned back and slowly sat up with the thick, warm comforter falling to her lap. Realizing that she had woken up in a very comfortable, but unknown bed that was much larger than her own, she looked around to find herself in a bedroom she had never seen before. The room was only filled with the bare essentials, making her wonder if it was perhaps a guest bedroom.

The walls were painted white, and there was what looked to be a walk-in closet. She also spotted two doors, one that must have led out of the bedroom and the other, probably a bathroom. Over to her left, she saw two white recliners that were separated by a coffee table sitting in front of the large drapes that were pulled across the large sliding door that could be seen through the small opening that the sunlight entered through.

Continuing to look around, her eyes landed on the alarm clock that sat atop the bedside table to see that it was 06:48, as was her cell phone that was sitting atop a sleek black docking station. Reaching over, she grabbed it and smiled when she saw that it was fully charged. Holding it in her hands, she thought about the night before, wondering how she had ended up there.

She had spent most of the night just hanging out with Jericho, and by hanging out she meant making him stay on the couch and take things easy after being injured, and as much as he might've grunted otherwise, he was hurt; the bruises across his face and his cheek being stitched showed that, as did him showing discomfort when he sat down due to his injured abdomen, even if he was putting on a brave front...which was either through pride or he didn't want people to worry, she betted on the former.

But it had been fun, just like the first time they had spent time alone together. There had been no deep conversation between them, they had just spent the night watching TV and...

Her train of thought interrupted; Elena looked over at the door when she heard a knock. "Um, yes?" She called out awkwardly, feeling a little out of place since she really hadn't been planning on sleeping there, but guessed that she must have fallen sleep...and someone, most likely Jericho, had placed her in the bed.

"Is it okay to come in?"

Recognising the British accent, Elena sat up straighter in the bed. "Yeah." She replied and watched as the door opened with Dot stepping in holding a folded-up towel in her arms. But what really surprised her was the clothes that were sitting on top, since they were hers from home.

"Good morning, Elena. Sleep well?"

"Um, yes, thank you...even if I'm not quite sure how I ended up here."

Approaching the bed, Dot seemed all too happy to tell her. "From what Jericho told me, well, he grunted it at me, you fell asleep around eleven last night and instead of waking you, he decided to carry you upstairs and place you in his bed."

"Oh." Elena mumbled embarrassingly but couldn't keep herself from smiling. But if this was Jericho's bedroom...why was it so empty?

"And since you weren't home by the time that Jenna and I got back from the festival, Jenna grabbed some clothes for you to change into before school, along with your school bag which is downstairs." Dot informed Elena as she placed the towel and clothes on the bed, allowing the latter to see the hairdryer, brush, toothbrush, toothpaste, and makeup that sat on top. "Now then, once you get showered and ready for school, breakfast should be ready." She finished, gesturing to the other door in the bedroom.

"Won't Jericho mind?"

"I hope he does." Dot admitted.

Elena smiled back. "Do you two just like messing with each other?"

"Yes." Dot voiced without any hesitation whatsoever. "But enough about my favourite pastime," She remarked getting a smile from Elena. "Once you're showered and dressed, I'll meet you downstairs."

"Okay." Elena nodded but offered a thin smile. "But I'm not really a breakfast person." She politely declined the offer.

"That's unfortunate,"

"But thank,"

"For you." Dot continued with a victorious smile, cutting Elena off. "I'll see you in the dining room when you're finished." She told her. Not even letting her retort, she turned on her heel and left the bedroom. Pulling the door close, she popped her head back into the room and looked directly at her. "Enjoy your shower." She added before closing the door behind her.

The door closing, Elena fought back a smile. Definitely seeing where Jericho got his sarcastic nature from, she grabbed her things and freed herself from the warm comforter and climbed out of the bed. Placing her feet on the ground, she crossed the room, opened the door, and stepped into the bathroom that like every other room she had seen of the house was ultra-modern, which made sense since she was in the home of Dot Amita and Jericho Reach.

Closing the door behind her, she looked down at the handle to see a small blue circle. Her thumb brushing across it, she smiled when the door clicked with the blue circle turning a deep red, signalling that the bathroom was now locked. Turning from the high-tech lock, which again made sense since considering who's home she was in, she walked across the black tiles and through the large bathroom that made the one at her house look tiny in comparison, not to mention outdated.

Passing the large shower that looked big enough for several people that had five jet nozzles on the wall, a handheld showerhead, and overhead were another four nozzles, she walked past the large bathtub that sat in front of one of the windows and placed her stuff down on the marble top sink; and over to the side, hidden away in the corner was the toilet.

Staring into the large mirror above the sink, she saw the time and weather displayed off to the side, along with a symbol at the bottom. Curiosity getting the better of her, Elena cautiously reached forward and tapped the symbol and quickly yanked her hand back like she had grabbed something hot and watched as apps spread across the screen like a smartphone. "Okay," She smirked at the fancy piece of tech. "Now they're just showing off."

After having what was probably the greatest shower she'd ever had and getting dressed, Elena grabbed her things and left Jericho's bedroom. Stepping out of the room and onto the balcony that overlooked the front room, she turned and walked down the staircase. Reaching the bottom, she crossed the room and headed in the direction of the kitchen, passing the couch and TV, the latter displaying the news.

Smelling an incredible aroma, Elena followed it into the kitchen. "Good shower?" Dot asked, her back turned to the brunette as she stood by one of the marble top counters.

"Yes, thank you." Elena smiled, really underselling just how incredible it felt with her having to force herself out. If not for the fact that she had to leave for school soon, she probably would've jumped into the bathtub and soak for a bit. "I wasn't sure where you wanted me to put the towel." She voiced, not just wanting to leave it in the bathroom.

Turning with two plates in her hands, Dot answered. "Just leave it on the side." She told her, gesturing to the kitchen island in the centre of the room. "And would you like your clothes washed? I can run them back to yours once they are."

"No, that's alright. I'll just take them back with me." Elena politely declined the offer. "And that looks amazing." She commented at the food as she quickly, and discreetly tucked her underwear inside her clothes, more so Jericho wouldn't see them than Dot, and place them on the chair that was tucked underneath the kitchen island.

"Thank you. It's so refreshing to have someone compliment the food rather than grunting when I ask how it its." Dot remarked leading Elena into the dining room, the smirking brunette following her. Stepping into the room, she found a large dining table that had a glass jug of orange juice, another metal pot with steam escaping through the top, and even more food.

Placing one of the plates down, Dot walked around the other side of the table. "You can sit down." She told Elena placing the other plate down as the woman in question pulled out the chair and sat down.

Scooting forward in the chair, Elena looked over to the entrance, curious where Jericho was. "Orange, coffee?"

"Coffee, thank you." Elena replied, turning back to look at Dot who grabbed the metal pot and poured the coffee into the mug that smelt just as incredible as the food. Placing the pot down, she gestured to the other jug and bowel.

"There's sugar and milk if you want it."

"Thank you."

Sitting down at the end of the table, Dot hummed. "And manners? I hope you come here more often."

"Speak for yourself."

Smiling at the familiar grunt, Elena turned to see Jericho walking into the dining room; and in his hand was his phone, meaning that he must have fixed it this morning while she had been asleep or in the shower.

"Finally awake?"

Elena smiled. "I guess the company bored me enough that I fell asleep."

"Or you just lack the strength to battle your own fatigue." Jericho returned smoothly, pulling out his chair and sitting opposite Elena who smiled a little more. Reaching over and grabbing the metal pot, he poured himself a coffee. "Why are we utilizing this room?"

"We're using this room because we have a guest." Dot answered, correcting his wording.

"Guest?"

Returning a playful look, Elena continued. "I see you fixed your phone."

"Then your visual perception works sufficiently."

While Elena smiled, Dot spoke up. "You'll have to forgive Jericho, he's not a morning person...or afternoon person...or evening person...or even a night person."

"I figured that out already." Elena smiled as Jericho brought his mug up to his lips, though his eyes never left hers making her heart race as she found herself unable to escape his piercing gaze, nor did she really want too...but forced herself too when she noticed something. "Aren't you eating?" She asked Dot, seeing that she had no plate in front of her like herself and Jericho.

"I've already eaten."

Nodding, Elena asked another question. "Not to pry,"

"Hm."

Trying her hardest not to retort, Elena continued, pretending that she hadn't heard him. "But do you always cook such luxurious breakfasts?" She inquired, looking down at her Eggs Benedict that looked seasoned to perfection and the French Toast that was on one of the other plates.

"You could learn something from Elena." Dot told Jericho, then looked at the brunette. "And yes, I do. I've been trying to get him to appreciate real food rather than living off those MRE's,"

"They are sufficient." Jericho interrupted, placing his mug down on the table. "They provide the necessary nutrients to keep the body fuelled and running at optimal capacity, and they also possess a long shelf life."

"They are also known for being tasteless." Dot pointed out, and when she saw him about to open his mouth, "Like me?"

"If you have to ask."

Fighting the urge to laugh, Elena looked at Dot. "Did you and Jenna have fun last night."

"I can't speak for Jenna, but I certainly did." Dot told the brunette, then looked back at Jericho. "You see that? Elena hasn't even been down five minutes and she's asked me about my night, something you've never done."

"There's a reason for that."

Unsurprised by his retort, Dot looked at Elena who seemed to be using every ounce of willpower she had not to break. "And I'd ask if you enjoyed yourself last night, but you were with him." She commented lightly. "And your breakfast is going cold."

"Right." Grabbing her knife and fork, Elena cut into the Eggs Benedict. Bringing it to her mouth, her eyes widened when she tasted it. "Oh my god. That's amazing." She proclaimed, covering her mouth to talk. "You should be running your own kitchen."

"Her egotism is inflated enough without you adding to it."

"Thank you, Elena." Dot smiled at her, then looked at Jericho. "Now, If I could just get 10% of that from you, I'll be happy."

"Your happiness is not a priority."

Once breakfast was over, Six escorted Elena out of his place of residence after she had said goodbye to Dot. Opening the door, he waited for her to grab her bag that was hanging up before following her outside.

"Showing me to my car, such a gentleman." Elena teased, her bag slung over her shoulder and her clothes carried in her arms.

Six immediately replied. "I'm just making sure you're leaving."

"Uh-huh." Elena smiled back as she was walked to where she parked her Ford the night before. "So, I know that you carried me upstairs to your room," She began, a little disappointed that she had missed that. "But where did you sleep?"

"I didn't."

Elena's smile fell slightly. "Why not? Not because of me, I hope."

"It was." Six informed her, and when Elena frowned, he continued. "You interrupted my solitude; I had to catch up on it." He said making her smile again. "And I slept the other night."

"You're meant to sleep every night."

"I'm also meant to be attending High School today." Six countered as they approached the Elena's Ford Escape. "Speaking of,"

Sighing, but failing to keep the smile off her face, Elena unlocked her car. Throwing her bag onto the passenger seat, followed by her clothes, she looked back at him. "Well, in that case I'm glad that I could ruin your evening." She happily told him. "And I would say to take things easy, but I think I'd have an easier time getting blood out of a stone."

"Stones don't, you were employing an idiom." Six quickly realized.

Laughing at his sudden realization, Elena climbed into her car and went to close the door only for Jericho to do it. "See you later."

"Another threat?" Six asked as Elena placed her seatbelt on.

Elena smiled. "Maybe." She told him. Sticking the key into the ignition, she turned, the Ford starting on the first go. "I'll leave you to your solitude."

"About time." Six commented, getting one last smile from Elena before she pulled away and headed down the driveway. Waiting until she drove through the gate and disappeared around the corner, when she did, he turned and headed back inside. Closing the door behind him, he walked down the hallway, through the front room, and into the kitchen where he found Dot placing the dishes and everything else they had for breakfast in the dishwasher.

"Finished saying goodbye to your girlfriend?"

"Acquittance." Six corrected, perplexed why Dot would put emphasis on Elena's gender. She was an Artificial Intelligence, gender should've been irrelevant to her, along with race and sexuality, all three ideologies that had been the causation of prejudice throughout human history; all which had been resolved by the twenty-sixth century.

"I think I'll call you Jerlena."

"I already have a pseudonym, why would I require another?" Six questioned the A.I. "And find anything?

"I did." Feeling his cellular device vibrate, Six freed it from his pocket. Pulling out one of the chairs, he sat down at the kitchen island. Turning his cellular device horizontally, he observed the screen that suddenly changed to display the image of the man that had come to his home.

"Damon Salvatore."

Six looked at Dot. "Salvatore?"

"Like Stefan Salvatore? Yes." Dot answered walking over to him. "And from the surveillance camera in the hospital, I have confirmed that they're brothers...and have been for a long time."

"I trust there is there a causation for your dramatic pause?"

Dot huffed. "Please, if anyone here is dramatic then it's you. But yes, there was a causation for it. "She said bringing up a recording that was displayed across the phone which was in black and white. "This was captured in 1953, right here in Mystic Falls when Joseph Salvatore was found mauled by an animal. The technology was pretty dated, but I've managed to clear it up as best I can."

Staring at the black and white recording, Six listened to the reporter as he started speaking. "This is Franklin Fell, reporting to you from the Salvatore Boarding House where a brutal animal attack had ended in tragedy." They reported just as paramedics brought out on a gurney that had a body covered with a sheet. The camera homed in near the entrance of the manor and onto Stefan, or at least...

"Heritability" Six stated logically.

"There would be a resemblance, not an identical copy." Dot disagreed with Six. "Ignoring their identical names, I have scanned every single recording that I can get my hands on, and I can tell you with a hundred percent guarantee that the Stefan Salvatore that goes to Mystic High, and the one on your phone are one and the same. There are no discrepancies of any kind, and with the surveillance cameras which really only started to become popular in the late seventies, every year on November 1st, he meets with this woman."

Six watched as the screen changed to display a woman with blonde hair, attractive features, the nasolabial lines hinting that she either laughed or smiled a lot. "And she is?"

"There is no record of her anywhere." Dot informed him. "But she has been referred to as Lexi, by Stefan and the people that I have seen her engaging with on surveillance camaras. And just like Stefan, she hasn't aged a day in decades."

Observing the blonde woman, Six thought hard on a logical explanation. "The healing factor." He voiced after a few moments of silence. "Damon healed from his injuries in a matter of seconds, injuries that would've killed even a Spartan. Maybe it's so advanced that it also regenerates the cells, preventing cellular ageing."

"Perhaps." Dot concurred with him. "Still doesn't explain how it happened,"

"We're from the twenty-sixth century, perhaps they come from a much later period where augmentation technology has progressed enough..."

Dot interrupted. "And what about the blood? You told me that this Damon said he needed to feed, and that he had fangs."

"We've already discussed this."

"It was not a discussion, it was a debate, one that you only cared to hear one side of." Dot countered evenly, having spoken about it the night that he had contacted her about dealing with a hostile. "Not only did he have fangs, the puncture wounds in your arm confirming that, but your blood was drained. And you know what has fangs and drinks blood?"

"Dot,"

Ignoring him, Dot continued. "Vampires."

"Vampires are fictious."

"There is always a hint of truth in myths. Take yourself for instance. The Insurrectionists regarded you as the very personification of death, when in reality you just killed a lot of them."

Refusing to comment, Six returned to their previous discussion. "You're an Artificial Intelligence...

"I am." Dot concurred with him. "And being one, I can acknowledge that all evidence is pointing to Damon Salvatore, Stefan Salvatore, and this Lexi being vampires, or at least something greatly resembling it. Let's look at the facts. While there are always variations to the myths regarding vampires, in almost every iteration their craving for blood is a common theme. And I'm not saying that they are vampires, but between their ageless appearance, their enhances abilities, the fangs, and the fact that one tried draining you of blood,"

Six grunted at the reminder, still not appreciating being sucked by Damon Salvatore. Forgetting about vampires and the insanity of them being anything but fiction, he now knew the identity for his attacker...and yet his thoughts lingered. Reviewing the surveillance, he knew that Stefan and this Lexi had been there decades ago and while he couldn't speak for the latter, the former hadn't aged a day. If the recordings had been falsified, then Dot would've known and wouldn't have wasted his time with them.

"There is also something else I found."

Feeling another headache about to come on, Six watched as Dot brought up another picture of Stefan...at least that was his initial thought. While they were practically identical, it was the eyes that told him otherwise.

"Meet Tom Avery."

"Oh, come on, Elena, stop holding out on us! You spend all night with Jericho, we want all the juicy details...starting with how big he is?"

Her cheeks burning, Elena glared at Caroline. "I wouldn't know."

"Okay, there is something seriously wrong with you. You've had both Stefan and Jericho alone and you haven't tired anything?" Caroline asked incredulously as she and Bonnie walked alongside Elena, both assaulting her with questions the moment she arrived in the parking lot.

"It's called getting to know them."

"No, it's called being frigid." Caroline disagreed. "Obviously nothing could happen with Stefan since Jenna and Jeremy were in the house, but you and Jericho were alone all night and instead of jumping his bones, you watched TV. Seriously?!"

Bonnie interjected. "She's been with the same guy for years; she's bound to be a little rusty." She said defending Elena...even if she was kinda on Caroline's side. If she had been alone with tall, pale, and smexy, watching TV would be the last thing they would be doing.

"I'm not rusty." Elena insisted strongly. "And I've only known him for five days,"

"Five amazing days?"

"They have been pretty good." Elena admitted through a smile, answering Bonnie. "But that still doesn't mean that I'm going to sleep with someone that I've only known for five days, that just screams slut."

"Says you."

Sighing at Caroline's comment, Elena continued. "And even if I was, Jericho is injured."

"Which you could've used for some sexy roleplay." Caroline said with a mischievous smile. "Hello, Mr Reach, I'm Nurse Gilbert, I'm gonna take real good care of you tonight." She grinned, teasing Elena who cheeks burned hotter. "If it were me, I'd have ripped his clothes and...

"Yeah, we know what you would've done."

Caroline sent Bonnie a coy look. "And you wouldn't?"

"Oh, you'd have to pry me off him." Bonnie admitted shamelessly. "But this isn't about me."

"Right. It's about Elena...who spent the night with Jericho." Caroline agreed, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively. "Where did you sleep?"

"In his bed. Alone." Elena said putting emphasis on the alone part, mostly to Caroline.

Bonnie smirked. "Is that frustration I hear?"

"No."

"Sounds like it." Caroline played along, very rarely getting to tease Elena...even if she was jealous that not only had she got to hang out with Jericho twice, but even gone to his house, which her mother still refused to tell her where it was. Speaking of, "What's his house like?"

"Very Ultra-Modern, and that's putting it lightly." Elena said, happy to change the subject. "The front room is huge and has the biggest TV that I've ever seen. The kitchen is filled with marble counters, and there's staircase that leads downstairs under the house...but I never actually went down there. And his bedroom is big, but only filled with the bare essentials, no pictures or nothing, and the bathroom connected to his bedroom has an incredible shower,"

Bonnie grinned. "You used his shower, in his bathroom?" She teased the brunette. "How bold."

"And you didn't have any hot, steamy, shower sex?" Caroline asked Elena who sighed with blushing cheeks. "You weren't pressed against the wall, the hot water dripping down your naked bodies, your legs wrapped tightly around him and,"

Elena's cheeks were practically cooking at this point. "Would you stop?" She pleaded with the blonde.

"Well, you'll have nobody to blame but yourself when I snatch Jericho up."

Suddenly filled with jealously, Elena went to retort, but before she could,

"Hey."

Bonnie, Caroline, and Elena turned to the voice to find the schools other mysterious bad boy standing there in his usual leather jacket and jean combo and thrown over his shoulder was his bag.

"And where were you last night?" Caroline all but demanded from Stefan.

Stefan offered an apologetic smile. "Sorry, Caroline, there was a family emergency."

"Sounds serious."

Nodding, Stefan answered Bonnie. "I had to take my brother to hospital."

"Is he okay?" Elena asked, a little surprised that Stefan hadn't mentioned that he had a brother the other night.

"The doctors tell me that he will be," Stefan told Elena with a small smile. "He was still a little out of it from the surgery."

"Surgery?"

"Yeah, he had to have his eye removed."

While they were all taken aback, Bonnie asked what was on their minds. "If you don't mind us asking, what happened to him?"

"I'm not a 100% myself," Stefan admitted to Bonnie. "But whatever happened to him, he lost an eye and an arm because of it."

"He lost an arm too?"

Stefan nodded. "He did. The hospital wants to keep him in for a couple of days to monitor him and help him to adjust to just having one eye." He told Elena. "But they're confident that he'll make a full recovery."

"Will he be getting one of those cybernetic arms?"

"Hopefully." Stefan replied to Elena as the four of them walked toward the school.

As they did, Caroline spoke. "You should just ask Jericho to build you one." She helpfully suggested to Stefan and when everyone looked at her, "Oh, come on. It's pretty obvious that he's that Jericho Reach...probably why he was attacked, too."

"Jericho was attacked?"

"Yeah, the other night,"

Interrupting, Caroline happily informed him. "After leaving Elena's." She said earning a dirty look from the brunette.

"When he got home," Elena continued tightly, silently telling Caroline to shut up. "He had to fight off an intruder, at least that's what his aunt told me."

"...as in Dot Amita?"

"Yep." Elena told Bonnie. "She was at mine when I got home yesterday. His phone got broken during the scuffle, which is fixed now."

"And that jerk hasn't even texted me back yet." Caroline pouted before proceeding to dig into her purse and pull out her cell.

Bonnie bobbed her head. "Guess that explains why we saw Jenna hanging out with a celebrity last night...who all the men were hitting on in the bar."

"Is Jericho, okay?"

"Grumpy,"

"Isn't he always?"

Elena smirked at Bonnie. "Seems to be. But he was hurt, even if he'll refuses to show it. His face was covered with bruises, his cheek was stitched up, he injured his abdomen, and his arm was wrapped in a bandage after being bitten."

"He was bitten?"

"He said he was, I never actually saw." Elena told Bonnie.

"Jeez, I hope he's had his shots." Bonnie quipped as they entered the school. "Who knows what diseases he might have picked up."

Smiling, Elena looked at Stefan. "What about you, are you okay?" She asked softly. "I can't imagine that you got much sleep last night." She said, knowing that she wouldn't if Jeremy had been taken to hospital and had to have surgery.

"I'm alright." Stefan reassured with a small smile. "It's just strange seeing my brother in a hospital."

Sitting in Maths, Elena half-listened to the lecture, the class really dragging on...more so than usual, as had most of the morning, the only highlight being when Stefan schooled Tanner, showing off his extensive knowledge with dates.

Looking discreetly under the table at her cell phone, she brought up Jericho's number. Brushing her thumbs across the keypad, she thought about texting him to see what he was up too knowing that he was definitely having way more fun than she was right now but didn't want to come across too strong. They had already spent most of the night together with her falling asleep on the couch with him, only to be carried upstairs and placed in his bed, she didn't want him to think that she was clingy, or worse, desperate.

"It's not like you're asking him out." Elena thought, psyching herself up. They were just friends texting, acquaintances, she could almost hear him say, something that brought a smile to her lips. Working up the nerve, she made sure that the teacher wasn't looking and started typing up the text, then sent it.

Hey, it's Elena. Just checking that this is your number.

She typed and waited for a response. Within a minute, she felt her cell vibrate and looked down, smiling when she saw the very Jericho message.

To Elena,

It is.

Jericho Reach.

Smiling, Elena texted back.

Have you never texted before? You don't have to sign the names.

To Elena Gilbert,

Your suggestion is noted.

Jericho Reach.

Her smile turning into a playful smirk, Elena replied.

"How's your solitude coming along?"

To Elena Gilbert,

It was coming along fine.

Jericho Reach.

Am I interrupting?

To Elena Gilbert,

Yes.

Jericho Reach.

Okay, seriously, would you stop signing the names on each text?

To Elena Gilbert,

Negative.

Jericho Reach.

You know what, I hope that you're hurting, really hurting right now.

To Elena Gilbert,

And I hope that you'll start heeding your current curriculum rather than procrastinating.

Jericho Reach.

Smirking, Elena typed vigorously. "What did you do, swallow a thesaurus?"

To Elena Gilbert,

why would I swallow a thesaurus? Not only would it provide me with no nutritious value, but it would deprive others from educating themselves.

Jericho Reach.

You're an idiot.

To Elena Gilbert,

And you're meant to be focusing on your current curriculum.

Jericho Reach.

Yeah, well, perhaps if you were here, you could make me. But since you're not." Elena texted back with a smirk, one that only grew when he didn't reply. Happy with her victory, she started putting her cell away only for her heart to sink when a phone started ringing. Relived that it wasn't hers, she looked forward to see the teacher stopping their lecture and glanced over at their desk, where the ringing was coming sorry.

Hurrying over to her desk, Miss Williams grabbed her cell from her desk and declined the call. "Sorry about that, I..." She tried to apologise only for the phone to start ringing again. Looking at the phone, the class watched as she finally answered it and brought it to her ear. "Hello. Sorry, I can't really...who is this? I see," She said slowly, turning and looking directly at Elena who looked like a deer caught in the headlights.

"No." Elena thought with dread, a bottomless pit forming in her stomach.

Never taking her eyes from Elena, Miss Williams continued talking to the person on the phone. "Well, thank you for bringing it to my attention." She said before ending the call and made her way over to where the brunette was sitting and instead of asking, she simply held her hand out.

"Can I,"

"You know very well what I want, Elena." Miss Williams stated with a stern look. "You can either give it to me now and get it back at the end of the class, or you can go see the principle, your choice."

Reluctantly, and embarrassingly, Elena handed her phone over...mostly because she didn't want to have to get the third degree from Jenna when he got home, even if she was already expecting a talk about staying over at Jericho's.

"Busted!" A voice sang out making the class snicker, and only served to embarrasses Elena further.

"That's enough, Mr Jones. That goes for the rest of you, too."

While Miss Williams was berating David and the rest of the classroom, Elena only had one thought on her mind. "He's going to pay for that." She swore mentally, knowing that it was him that had sold her out...even if she wasn't sure how he had gotten her number. But it didn't matter, she was going to make him suffer.

Once school was over, Stefan headed straight for the hospital rather than trying out for the football team like thought about doing. It would've been a way for him to get closer to Elena, but right now, the only thing on his mind was seeing how Damon was. This week was the first time in fifteen years that they had seen each other, and while Damon might have hated him, he was still his brother.

He also thought about Jericho. It was the second day that he hadn't been at school, and from what Elena had said this morning, it really was him that Damon had fought the other night, though from what he could tell, Damon came out worse for wear. He still had so many questions, such as how a human could physically fight a vampire, could apparently survive being punched over his house; but most importantly how his blood cured vampirism.

They had waited several hours to see if Jericho's blood would leave his system, and when nothing had changed, he had taken Damon to the hospital. Obviously, he had tried to put up a fight, but he was no longer able to stop him. And after being checked over with the doctor remarking that he was lucky to be alive, which was bitter irony, Damon had been sent down for surgery to remove his gouged-out eyeball.

Arriving at the room they had place him in, Stefan knocked on the doorframe and watched as Damon, who was sitting on the bed, turned revealing the new bandage around his eye that had been removed. "Hello, brother."

"Damon." Stefan greeted back, entering the room and slowly approached the end of the bed. "How're you feeling?"

"Oh, just peachy. My vision is a solid twenty." Damon sassed back, looking down the bed at his beloved brother. "I've forgotten just how euphoric drugs can be. No wonder humans do it so often." He remarked as Stefan grabbed a chair and sat down next to him. "But enough about me, how was your day? Kill any forest friends?"

Stefan refused to answer. "Did the doctors say anything?"

"Doctors? Don't you mean butchers?" Damon asked sarcastically.

"You eye,"

"Would have healed." Damon interrupted sharply. "This mortal thing might be for a couple of days,"

With a small sigh, Stefan argued. "And it might not be. For all we know this might be permanent,"

"Which I'm sure that you're just heartbroken about." Damon interjected, cutting Stefan off. "I bet you're just loving this."

"Yes, because I love seeing my brother mutilated...even if it does mean that no more innocent people will get hurt." Stefan shot back at Damon. "And you wouldn't even be in this state if...

Damon rolled his one remaining eye. "Defending your psychotic bestie again? That's cute."

"Jericho and I aren't besties." Stefan pointed out, leaving out that he barely knew him having shared only a few passing words to one another. "But you had to know there was something off about him, I felt it the second that I looked at him. You must have seen the scars, the burns."

"...maybe." Damon reluctantly admitted. "But maybe I was trying to help you out?"

"Help me out?" Stefan repeated slowly, his voice filled with scepticism. "You tried to feed on him and failed." He whispered, not wanting any of the hospital staff to hear him if they happened to pass by.

Unbothered, Damon continued. "From what I saw he and Elena were getting awfully cozy on that Charger. She even invited him in," He added suggestively. "And they were in there for hours doing who knows what. And after all the effort you went too, even enrolling in high school just to be close to her, the thought of my little brother not getting the girl, it breaks my heart."

"Your mortal one."

"Ooh, the envy is palpable, brother. Of course, you could always get some of that blood for yourself?" Damon tempted Stefan. "And you wouldn't even have to worry about being Buzzkill Bob, his blood would stop all that. Get rid of the competition, and get cured; two birds, one stone."

"Unlike you, I'm not stupid enough to try and attack Jericho."

"Why not?"

"Because I'm not an idiot." Stefan told him.

Damon shrugged. "Well, that's a matter of opinion. And that boring, mortal life that you've always wanted is finally within your grasp, and you're not even the slightest bit tempted. All you've got to do is drink some of his blood and you no longer have to kill Thumper and his little friends on a daily basis."

Sitting in the kitchen and staring at his laptop, Six rested his chin in the palm of his hand as he worked on a design for the auto shop, progress being delayed because of his altercation with Damon Salvatore. It had also been somewhat of a reality check, showing him just how soft civilian life had made him. He should have been more attentive, reacted before the first punch was thrown. He was an enemy; he should've acted accordingly.

At least, that's what Spartan-B312 would've done. He had been created to protect humanity, die for it, and Damon was undoubtably a threat to it. Victoria Donovan was not his first victim; he had vocalized that with smug arrogance. His tone and mannerisms denoting that he had no guilt or remorse, the signs of a sociopath. He was still in hospital, all he needed to do was go there and eliminate him. Decapitation, heart removal, or grab a plasma pistol and disintegrate him,

But he couldn't, even if the thought was an attractive one. He was no longer a Spartan, just Jericho Reach. And if contending with his nature wasn't difficult enough, Dot was committed to her hypothesis that Damon was what he claimed to be, a Vampire. He would've considered rampancy, but since she had been initially created as a "Dumb" A.I, she had no neural pathways of a human brain like a "Smart" A.I, it would have been impossible...but with the positronic brain.

Vampires were fictious. And contrary to what Dot claimed erroneously, he was not arguing for the sake of arguing. He was being logical, as she should. And the fact that she, an Artificial Intelligence, even for a millisecond believed that he could be, it concerned him. Yes, he acknowledged that Damon, Stefan, and countless others hadn't aged for decades, but he still hypothesized that it was achieved through biological augmentation than anything supernatural, and to claim think otherwise was,

The doorbell suddenly went off, stopping his train of thought. Since Dot wouldn't have rung, it meant only one thing. He had a guest. Lucky him. Practically euphoric, Six got up and left the kitchen, though did note that he should probably store some guns away in his place of residence, but then had to remind himself that he couldn't kill...maiming was fine, but killing? Negative.

"Damn, time travel." Six grunted in his head. Leaving the kitchen and heading across the front room, he turned and walked down the hallway where he saw a familiar silhouette behind the frosted glass. Grabbing the handle, he opened the door. "Ele-"

Not giving him a chance to speak, Elena pouched on him. "You think you're so funny." She said jabbing his stomach with her finger and felt his abs behind the tight black tee of his that felt incredible.

"I'm many things, humorous isn't one of them."

Her finger still pressed against his ab-stomach, Elena smiled up at him. "Don't act cute, you know exactly what I'm talking about. I know that it was you."

"You have me at a disadvantage." Six replied calmly, unfazed by her light assault.

"You phoned the teacher."

Six stopped her right there. "Please, let's not make baseless accusations without proof to back it up." He stated, then gestured with his arm for her to enter his place of residence, knowing that she had no intention of leaving.

"I know it was you."

Closing the door, Six disagreed. "You hypothesize that it was me, but you lack any incriminating evidence." He remarked taking the coat from Elena and placed it on the empty coat rack. "But hypothetically, if it was...

"There's no hypothetically about it, it was you."

"Hypothetically," Six continued, turning and walking back down the hallway with Elena quickly following. "If it were me, I trust you've learned a valuable lesson."

Walking beside Jericho, Elena smirked up at him. "Which is?"

"Actions have consequences."

Elena smirked a little more. "Funny. You took the words right out of my mouth." She quipped as they entered the front room to see that like last time, the news was playing on the TV. Following him through the room, they stepped into the kitchen where she saw his laptop sitting atop the kitchen island.

"Hot or cold?"

"Hot." Elena answered, still feeling a little chilly from standing out in the cold during Cheerleader practise.

"Tea, coffee, hot chocolate,

"Coffee, please."

"Hm."

Smirking at his grunt, Elena watched as he opened a cupboard and pulled out a mug before walking over to where the very luxurious coffee machine was sitting on the counter and placed it underneath the nozzle. While he did that, she looked over at the laptop to see a building design displayed across the screen.

"What's this?"

"A laptop."

Responding with a flat look, Elena failed to keep herself from smiling. "I know that."

"Then why ask?" Six inquired as he tapped the symbol for coffee on the touchscreen with the machine starting up.

Elena glared daggers into the back of his skull. "I meant, what's on it."

"Numerous things."

"On. The. Screen." Elena said tightly, knowing that he was just being an annoying ass, now.

"A program."

Elena seriously wanted to throttle him right now. "Which is?"

"A sequence of instructions in a programming language for a computer to execute." Six explained just as her beverage was made. Grabbing the mug, he turned to find Elena glaring at him from where she was sitting at the kitchen island. Walking over to her, he placed the drink down in front of her.

Still glaring at him, Elena accepted it. "Thank you." She grumbled as Jericho sat down in front of the laptop, next to her. "And are you going to tell me."

"Tell you what?"

Elena wanted to strangle him, really strangle him. "You're so annoying! Would you just answer the stupid question?!"

"What question?"

"What you're doing on the laptop!" Elena cried out, torn between screaming and laughing.

"Hm."

Dark brown eyes narrowed dangerously at his grunt. "What?" Elena demanded sharply. "Come on, spit it out." She grumbled and watched as Jericho pulled his eyes from his laptop and looked down at her, his piercing blue eyes captivating her once more.

"It doesn't take much for you to become emotionally compromised."

Desperately trying not to smile, Elena retorted. "I'm not emotionally compromised. You're just impossible to talk too. And annoying...and a jerk!"

"A jerk?"

"Yes, a jerk." Elena confirmed, still fighting back a smile. "Because of you I had my phone taken away."

"Actions have consequences." Six repeated once more.

No longer fighting it, Elena smirked. "They do. Which is why I decided to come and ruin your evening, since I know how much you love socializing."

"You could've accomplished that with a phone call." Six remarked, still looking down at Elena. "Saved yourself the journey."

"And have you not answer it?" Elena answered rhetorically. "I don't think so." She said, then nodded at the laptop. "Now, are you going to tell me what you're doing, or do I have to keep guessing?"

"It would keep you distracted." Six voiced returning his attention to the laptop. "And I'm working on a design."

"For?"

"An auto shop."

"You own an auto shop?"

"No. I just delight in procrastinating."

Sighing, Elena grabbed her coffee and brought it to her lips. "Is it in Mystic Falls?" She asked, then took a small sip of the coffee. And not missing the opportunity to insult him. "Your aunt makes better coffee."

"Makes better company too." Six replied just as quickly. "You should go find her."

Smiling around her mug, Elena took another sip before placing it back down on the counter. "If I did, how would I ruin your evening?"

"I'm sure you'd manage."

Smirking, Elena brought the conversation back. "And you never answered my question."

"Then perhaps you shouldn't have interjected with an insult." Six suggested. "Or are you incapable of showing restraint?"

"Only when it comes to you." Elena shot back with a smile. "It really is the little things,"

"You know what they say about little minds."

"I'm sure you do." Elena smirked back at him. "May I?" She asked cheerfully, gesturing to the laptop.

"I do."

Smiling at his grunting retort, Elena accepted the laptop from Jericho and pulled it in front of her and checked out the design. "Is this for you or your company?" She asked, knowing full well that he was that Jericho Reach, now.

"The company."

Surprised, but happy that he actually answered a question about Noble Industries for once, Elena continued. "I get that you like the colour black, and when I say like, I mean obsessed, but have you not thought about picking a lighter colour?"

Disgruntled, Six retorted. "I'm not obsessed."

"Just about everything you own is black." Elena disagreed with a smug smirk. "Your clothes, your car, your phone, your bathroom, even the laptop. Honestly, I surprised that your bedroom isn't painted black. You do know that there are other colours, right?"

Six grunted. "I am aware of the colour spectrum, yes."

"Just checking." Elena chirped happily, feeling rather pleased with herself that she had got him grumbling...more than he usually did. Returning to what she was doing, she continued checking out the design for his auto shop.

Opening the cupboard, Six looked at the assorted confectionary items that Dot had brought frivolously. She didn't require sustenance, and he didn't care for indulging himself, it was just wasting resources that could be allocated to,

"Good news!"

Pulled from his thoughts regarding Dot's frivolous spending, Six grabbed what he could. Leaving the kitchen, he discreetly used his neural interface to switch the light off and walked back into the front room where Elena was sitting on the couch. "You're leaving?"

"I found a movie." Elena answered with a smile, pretending that she hadn't heard his comment. "E.T."

"ET?" Six questioned, placing the confectionary on the table before sitting back on the couch next to Elena.

Sitting forward, Elena grabbed the bag of chips from the table. "You've never seen E.T? The friendly little alien?" She asked opening the bag and stuck her hand inside.

"Only good alien is a dead one."

Taken aback at the bitterness in his voice, Elena stopped and looked up at him. "What?"

"The motion picture is starting."

Frowning at the blatant dismissal, Elena never took her eyes from him. She had only known him for five days at this point, but that was the first emotion that she had heard from him. Even when he had been talking about his parents and no longer having siblings, his tone had been filled with an empty indifference like it usually was, but just then, there was a spiteful bitterness that she had never heard from him before...and it came from talking about aliens.

Six snatched the confectionary bag from her. "If you're not going to consume them."

"I am." Elena insisted snatching them back. Looking back at the TV as the film started, she glanced at Jericho from the corner of her eye. She couldn't get his words out of her head, nor the bitterness behind them. It wasn't him making another sarcastic comment, but a genuine hatred of aliens...which was ridiculous. Unless he meant illegal aliens, but he didn't strike her as racist. God, she hoped he wasn't, that would have been a deal breaker.

Then again, what did she really know about him? While they joked around, well, she did, he never actually went into detail about his past which was extremely mysterious. And the little she did know; it was filled with sadness. She knew that his parents, sibling/siblings, and friends had died...but that was about it. She didn't know where he lived or even what he did before coming to Mystic Falls, where he got his scars, the burns, and bullet and stab wounds, and his skin that was starting to colour compared to how pale it had been when she first met him on Monday.

Then there were his bruises. Even from this morning they had healed, changing colour far quicker than they should've. At this stage they should have been purple, yet they were a yellowy-green like he had been attacked days ago. What felt like a recurring theme with him, she was filled with only more questions rather than answers about him and his past that was shrouded in mystery. Letting it slide, she got comfortable and for a third night in a row spent time with Jericho.

"You know, you never did say how you got Miss Williams phone number."

Displeased that he was watching a motion picture about a friendly alien, Six grunted. "What are you talking about." He asked getting a smirk back from Elena who moved closer to him as the movie played.

And cut! Here's the next chapter of The Noble Diaries and the conclusion of the third episode which is quite different compared to the series due to all the butterfly effects happening such as Stefan not trying out for football and instead visiting Damon in the hospital, Elena not making diner for her, Bonnie, and Stefan since she only did so to get Bonnie to warm up to him, and since he never went to the comet festival, Bonnie also never got a bad feeling from him when she touched his hand.

Caroline also wasn't fed on by Damon, hence why she was with Bonnie and Elena during the school segment.

But most importantly, Elena has learned what happens when you try and mess with a Spartan.

Next chapter will either be the Founders Party, or I might do a little filler to allow Six to interact with the Mystic Falls gang over the next few weeks, haven't decided yet.

Not much else to say other than let me know what you all thought.
