A small chapter about what happened to Chloe and Olivia and Elliot's mama and papa instincts coming out!

"Elliot help me!" Chloe awoke with a scream, her arms and legs kicking out at all angles. Both Olivia and Elliot awoke with a start, he made quick work of gathering the 18 year old up into his arms and she dissolved into tears.

"I feel sick..." Chloe wept pitifully and Olivia stood up quickly, running into the kitchen to grab a cold bottle of water. She handed it to her and watched as she curled into Elliot's chest and took a couple of sips before putting the water down.

"What's the matter honey? What happened?" Elliot whispered, smoothing her damp hair back as if she was one of his own daughters. She was curled up in his lap, her body heaved with sobs... huge heart breaking sobs that Elliot tried to soothe.

"I had a bad dream!" Chloe clung to Elliot as though he were a lifeline. He kissed her forehead and scooped her up, beginning to walk around with her whilst Olivia watched on, a small smile on her face. This was the man she had fallen in love with; the gentle giant, the man who would protect any child and keep them safe, who had taken on the role of a father figure to a girl who he'd barely known for 24 hours.

"What about? It's ok, you can tell me!" Elliot soothed, hugging her tight. He was healing her inner child, that child who had grown up without a daddy to protect her and keep her safe. Olivia could sense that and stood up, making her way to Elliot and the teenager that was in his arms, she gently wiped Chloe's tears.

"Go on papa! You can use my room to talk!" Olivia smiled indulgently, wanting the young girl to have some privacy to talk about what had frightened her so much. Not only that but Beth had managed to stay asleep during all of this and she was really going to need her rest after everything that had happened. Elliot smirked slightly when Olivia called him papa; that's exactly what he felt like when he was cradling this child.

"Come on, darling!" Elliot soothed, allowing Chloe to rest her head on his shoulder and loop her arms around his neck. She clung to him as he carried her through to Olivia's bedroom, she felt more like an 8 year old. He was slowly fixing her inner child and making her feel safe. Elliot sat down on the bed and cradled her in his lap, one hand stroked her hair and the other went around her. Securing her to him as though she was a child.

"What happened? What did you dream about?" Elliot spoke softly and hugged her tight. Chloe laid her head on Elliot's chest, wondering whether she would've ever felt so safe if her own dad had ever bothered to show her affection. She gripped his t-shirt in her hands and began to speak.

"It was different things... it was about what happened last night and about when I was assaulted!" Chloe bit her lip hard to stop her tears, she felt so frightened and turned away from Elliot so that he wouldn't see. He could see right through her and gently tilted her chin up, he began to wipe her tears away.

"Remember what I said kiddo? You don't have to be brave, not anymore! Olivia and I are here to help the both of you through this! We are going to be right by your side sweetheart... would you like to tell me what happened? Or would you like me to get Olivia?" He whispered, gently kissing her head.

"Can you get Olivia please? But I don't want you to leave! Will you both be there when I tell you what happened? Please!" Chloe begged and Elliot's heart broke. He hugged her tight and nodded his head, tears filled his eyes. He pulled his phone out and sent Olivia a quick text.

"Our other baby needs us x"

Olivia had been dozing lightly on the couch, Beth curled up beside her asleep. Hearing her phone buzz beside her, she flicked it open and seeing Elliot's text made her get up and head straight into her bedroom. Seeing Chloe cradled in Elliot's lap made her heart ache.

"Are you ok baby?" Olivia said soothingly, gently sitting beside the two of them and grasp onto her hand. Chloe shook her head and let out a sob, reaching her arms out to Olivia who took her into her arms without hesitation.

"I had a bad dream about when I was... when I was hurt!" She stuttered and Olivia shushed her gently and wrapped her arms around her, giving her all the affection that she had clearly missed out on.

"I think I'm ready to talk about what happened now..." Chloe hiccuped and Elliot reached his hand out and grasped it tight, so proud of the teenager who had stolen a piece of his heart. Olivia gently rocked the teenager back and forth, soothingly whispering sweet nothings into her ear.

"It was in October... my friends and I went to a Halloween party that one of the seniors threw. We were surprised that we were included ya know? We're freshmen, most of the time the older ones don't want to include us!" Chloe began, letting her forehead rest against Olivia's cheek and she soothed her, pressing gentle and motherly kisses to her head. No one said anything, they just waited for Chloe to start talking again.

"We got there around 7ish and we got drinks, it was just a normal evening. It started off so normal... I'd only been there for an hour when this guy came up to me. He was good looking and kind... he said his name was Carter and that he was a senior, he went and got us some drinks but after a while I felt really drowsy, so he said that he would take me to bed. I trusted him completely..." Chloe whispered, her eyes glazing over as she tried to compartmentalise what had happened to her. Olivia and Elliot were livid! Clearly this older guy had drugged her and slipped something into her drink... how dare he do that to her!

"I remember him taking me to this room... more like dragging me actually, he uhm... he laid me down on the bed and I thought he was going to put me to bed! But... he removed my underwear and kissed me! I couldn't move... it was like I was paralysed. He said I would enjoy it but I didn't... I didn't want him to do that! I begged him to stop, I cried and tried to wriggle away from him but I couldn't!" Chloe burst into sobs and Olivia rocked her back and forth, whispering sweet nothings to her.

"That was my first time... having sex. He just wouldn't stop Liv! Over and over... for hours... every time he would finish all I could think was 'please don't let him climb on top of me again!' And he would! So many times... eventually he left and one of the elder girls found me in the morning and took me to the hospital!" Chloe was in tears and Olivia hugged her tight, a feeling of anger washing over her. Elliot enveloped them both in a hug, pressing kisses to both of them.

"I'll kill him..." Olivia growled, pulling away from the young girl slightly. She stroked her face and Chloe nuzzled her face into Olivia's hand; she was so starved of affection and that made Olivia feel more protective than she already was.

"I just wanted my mama and daddy... but I knew they wouldn't believe me! They've never shown up for me.. I tried so hard. I just wanted them..." Chloe said through tears and Olivia picked her up, the same way she had done when Beth had found out about her dad's betrayal.

"I know my sweet girl... I'm so sorry that they failed you. I've got you... we're here now and we will always have your back. You're stuck with us for life, kiddo!" Olivia whispered, swaying to and fro until she was calmer.

"Please don't let him hurt me again Mama Liv.." Chloe mumbled sleepily and Olivia swallowed thickly, a feeling of maternal love washing over her for the girl who she barely knew. Olivia stroked the girl's hair and swayed back and forth, love shone in her eyes and Elliot grinned.

"It's ok... he will never hurt you again. I won't let him... Mama Liv has you now!" She cooed and Chloe looked up, her eyes almost shut as she was so exhausted.

"Elliot... would it be.. you can say no if you want! But, would it be ok if I called you papa? It's just... you're the only man who's ever been kind to me and..." She rambled, only stopping when Elliot took her from Olivia's arms and hugged her tight, lovingly kissing her forehead.

"Of course you can.." He whispered soothingly, his voice shaking slightly at the emotion that this brought out in him. This kid was placing all of her love and insecurities into their hands and both himself and Olivia were honoured to be that for her.

"Come on kiddo, you're getting some more sleep!" Elliot soothed, gently walking back into the living room and placed her down next to Beth, who by some miracle had managed to sleep throughout all of this. It didn't take long for Chloe to fall back to sleep, safe in the arms of people who had grown to love and care about her.

"Our babies..." Olivia whispered affectionately and Elliot nodded wordlessly, in only two days he had gained two extra children and a relationship. That sounded pretty damn good to him.
