Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Southern Hospitality. Enjoy the 4700-word chapter. I don't own Red vs Blue; Rooster Teeth and a few others do.

Tenn was silent, utterly silent for now, unready to try and figure out everything while he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

He looked over at South who still had the pieces of her armor laid at her feet. The woman was as silent as the grave, understanding perhaps that let him have some degree of insanity riding through him as he seemed to try and understand.

What else was going on? What the hell did they do next? She cracked her fingers, looking at her cast as the medicine slowly worked its way into her body.

She didn't at all know what the next path would be, crossing her arms as her grey eyes closed slightly. There was a lot more to see and do and understand when it came down to it.

"You feeling, ok?" South questioned before she looked downwards at the ground.

"Are you?" Tenn questioned before he looked downwards at the ground as he managed to try and plot it out while he looked downwards.

"We've got work to do; you know. A lot of damn work and here we are sitting in damn bed waiting to get onto the next mess." South said before she sighed. "I want to break it down for now," South stated before she rubbed her eyes.

They had a lot more to see and do. South sighed and shrugged on her armor before she looked down at the ground, smirking as he prepared for the next fight. Tenn could only sigh at the insane woman who seemed to be entirely ignoring the pain she had been in.

Oh, did it hurt, really did it hurt for now… They had a lot of pain to spread back to the rebels. Tenn looked at his magnum which had been on the ground next to him as he pointlessly seemed to understand everything.

"Did we get the mission briefing yet?" Tenn asked as South shook her head. "Then what the hell are we doing here? We're still going to need to go to a hospital sooner or later, either way, sooner we do that? The sooner we get to relax." Tenn said as he tried to force himself out of his bed.

He felt pain up and down his leg. He didn't at all know, truly? He didn't at all. The idea of everything going a certain way was odder and odder.

He didn't at all want to relax and didn't want to listen to the news reports as the war went on. He looked at South who had been able to fully and surely sit up, her leg cracking but not any worse than before did she manage to pull herself out of bed for the time being.

They had to relax, again and again, while she looked to the ground over and over again when it came down to it. They had to keep being on the edge of the time being, again and again for now, ready to move past that again and again for now, preferring to try and cut through it with the same nightmarish monstrous options when it was all over for now.

She hummed to herself before she cracked her fingers once more, slowly starting to jump to her feet. A massive amount of amusement on her face as she looked upwards and into the ceiling, unsure of what to say and do next before it came down to it.

She hummed out as she looked downwards at the ground. If something else came down the road? She'd be unsure of herself, ready to crack some skulls as she hummed, and leaned on the wall once more.

Was she going to be, ok? Was she prepared for what else needed to be done, she looked at Tenn before he sighed to himself as of now?

Tenn was silent, utterly ready to fight before he hummed. He was perhaps unsure and uncertain, perhaps questioning what to see and do next.

The nightmares on his mind made him crack a smile before he looked at South, leaning up for a few seconds and then sighing to himself.

"Are you going to be, ok? We have a lot of work to deal with, something that we're going to be fighting against very soon." Tenn said as South hummed before she slowly started to walk toward the weapon lockers.

There was a crack as the woman cursed, unsure and unable to fight the damn pain in her mind before she sighed, ready to cry from it all.

Tenn slowly got up, the medicine and painkillers allowing his leg to carry his weight as the soldier walked toward her. South winced as there were a few cracks in his bones before he did so, all of the pain on his face was hidden behind a slowly awkward smile.

"I don't know what the hell is going on. Everyone seems to want to fight rebels, nobody wants to talk about the Ais." South stated as Tenn hummed to himself.

There was a lot more to this than he was aware of it. Tenn tapped his fingers on his arms, looking upwards and into the sky with a few words on his mind. Tenn was perhaps ready to fight out as he thought of his next few options.

"What are you going to do if you get an AI?" Tenn asked before he raised an eyebrow at her. "That sort of thing isn't something that we talk about often," Tenn said as he rubbed at his temples, smirking down at the girl.

Both of them were silent as they glanced at one another before he sighed to himself.

This was so ridiculous for the time being, an idea that seemed to be relaxing for now. he didn't even wish to know what was going on, didn't even grasp what had been going on and on for now, it was too much to ask for and too much to deal with at the moment.

Had he managed to keep going from here, he might scream for now. The identity of which he could only wish to try and hope as he started to grab his magnum before checking it over.

"Are you going to be, ok? We aren't going to be back here anytime soon, there's a lot more fighting to be done before the war is over, South." Tenn said before South snorted.

Tenn watched her frown, her a little shorter than him as the two agents tried to focus more and more on dealing with the problem.

"I will when my damn leg isn't broken," South said as Tenn nodded. "Those assholes aren't going to die anytime soon as we're locked up here," South stated, growling as Tenn leaned against the wall before he sighed.

Both freelancers wanted to be off and, on the mission, they were tired and exhausted for now as he mentally resigned himself to try and understand how well he could fight. He and she were beaten down, wounds cut all over their bodies.

He wasn't unsure of if they could win before now. He just wanted to try and fight as the best he could, fight well and well before.

This was so damn annoying as he hummed before looking upwards and into the sky while he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

"Agents." They heard as the director stopped by them, causing them to pause and look at the man once more.

There were a few glances at the duo, unsure and unable to fathom what was coming next on this path. He wanted nothing more than to smirk, telling them that they were going on the mission when it came next.

He didn't let it pass they were looking at each other, showing a level of trust and understanding that he had seen before between Carolina and Agent New York. He noticed both South Dakota and Tennessee were protecting the other, leaning against one another to try and support their weight for now.

"Sir?" Tenn asked before he raised an eyebrow.

"I see both of you still bare some battle scars from the previous mission. It is… Regrettably that such things must come from a source such as the rebellion but we must be willing to throw in our lot with the UNSC to survive." The director stated as the others hummed.

"We've all friends in the UNSC, sir. It's where we used to be before now and yet we have time to wait while they help." South said before she sighed and looked downwards at the ground.

All of it seemed to be odder and odder to deal with, a measure they could allow to end properly once again.

They had more, a lot more than possible, something that he could and would allow it to relax once more.

Both soldiers looked at each other, supporting the other's bum legs now before he cracked a smile. Both seemed ready to collapse, ready to slam down into the ground like a lump of coal.

He was unsure of it all for the time before now. He began sighing, placing his weapon into the holster on his thigh before the director spoke again.

"There will be a larger group of insurgents here. They've gotten more brazen since they've managed to try and figure out what happened to their more established bases." The director stated before Tenn hummed.

"We're going to cut right through them all the same, sir. We just need another day to recover. The fall did a number on our legs." Tenn said before South hummed.

"When did they get a ship?" South questioned as Tenn looked at her.

"Because between the last two bases they've lost, their intelligence division has been focused on trying to find this vessel… And we have a feeling they've managed to find this ship for the moment." South and Tenn heard.

"So now we have to stop a ship from destroying the biggest asset project freelancer has which also has the potential to cause damage on a scale unprecedented," Tenn said as he sighed. "Well, I've been asked to do the impossible before but this is going to be… Something." Tenn said as the director hummed.

"They've recently acquired cargo we would be very happy to acquire from them in return for a bonus reward. If you or your compatriots manage to retrieve it? I'd be much more willing to try and give you both a reward…. Provided it is in one piece." The director stated before looking down at the ground.

There was some silence as they contemplated their options. South cared about the reward but it was clear that she wanted their enemy defeated as well, Tenn? He saw a chance to reverse his screwup from the mission they had been pulled off of, for now, everything was going into place.

Tenn sighed and crossed his arms, looking at South who looked ready to fall to the ground, she was tired of now. They had a lot more on the line if they failed, something that wasn't easily dealt with for now.

They looked at one another, something that needed to be dealt with and it would… For now? Everything came down to what needed to be done and what WOULD be done.

Everything fell into place slowly and surely. They had a lot more to try and understand… All of it was nicer and nicer a bargain.

But he wasn't stupid, it was part of his plan to make it all his own. He'd handle it as best he could and as best as he was able to try and maneuver around.

They'd get the mission done and he supposed Tenn would find answers to it all for the moment, an idea he relished for the time being.

Tenn felt all of the pain in his arm slightly ache for now, the painkillers could do so much for now, ready to make him collapse and into the damn ground.

"Are you ok?" Tenn asked before he looked over at her and then he sighed to himself before he smiled and staggered back a few seconds at a moment.

"Agents? The team will be put together at the next moment." Tenn heard as he clicked his fingers against his side as the director slowly started to try and consider it all.

The director hummed and stepped aside to reveal the councilor and a glowing green spark… Delta, York's AI for the moment floated into the room as the two turned and slowly limped toward their beds.

They had a few seconds of silence before he sighed to himself, sitting down on the bed as the councilor pulled up a hologram a few seconds later, unsure of it all, unsure and unwilling to try and understand it.

Everything that could go weird about this was going weird for the time being, everything about it was odder for now.

The AI hummed before looking at them both, ready to fall silent. It looked at them both before he sighed and spoke a few seconds later for the moment.

"The ship is a UNSC light carrier stolen from an imperial scrapyard and it is being used to transport reinforcements and materials to Earth…. It is also preparing to launch a full attack upon the Mother of Intention to destroy it to try and prevent our involvement." Delta said as both looked at the AI.

"Meaning what? Do we have to destroy an entire ship to save everyone else? Geez, and here I thought we had a hard job." Tenn snarked as South sighed.

"Sir? How the HELL are we going to bring down a warship on foot? With all due respect? We don't exactly have a gun big enough besides the MOI to fire at it and the ship is still going to be a problem." They heard as he hummed.

"Your objective isn't to destroy the ship though it would be a matter of simply damaging the core… No, it'd be allowing the engines to go offline… Do we predict when the ship's engines are damaged? The resulting decay will… Delta?" The counselor questioned to which the AI nodded.

"The carrier's decay will cause it to burn up in the atmosphere and the decaying orbit will cause other systems to rupture and further destroy it," Delta stated as the two shared another look.

"You need not use explosives to blow the ship in half, merely cause it to get caught in Earth's gravity… By the time the crew manages to restore power? The ship will have already been too damaged to continue flying… It will crash into the oceans and explode, that will be the end of it for now." South heard as she hummed once more.

"So, you want us to get aboard a heavily armed warship which probably has more soldiers than any military base on Earth, steal something from maximum security which probably has more soldiers than Earth, then damage the engines…" Tenn started to say as South cut in on the snarking.

"Which has more security than Earth." South snarked as the Councilor hummed.

"We are aware we will be sending you on a suicide mission but that is why the new AI will be the prize to one of you both." The director said as the councilor hummed.

"What the director means is, we are sending you with another team as we discussed to try and limit losses. Losing an agent is not a business we'd like to discuss considering it is easier to gain more weapons than gain more agents." South and Tenn heard as both hummed.

They had a LOT more on their mind, something that disturbed them both as both of them racked their fingers and looked at each other, ready to try and fight.

"Going to need backup if we're heading into their base blind. How are we getting out of there if that ship is going to fall? There's NO way pelican can evac you all." Tenn said before he sighed and then looked downwards at the ground.

Everything about it all seemed to be bothering him for now, a desire to be superior he couldn't and wouldn't allow happening the same way it could and would play out.

Neither agent was stupid as she hummed at her new partner, his ocean blue eyes seemed to keep focusing on the ground, unsure and uncertain of what had come next as a result.

"We're planting the bomb here; engines will go down… We can get to these escape pods and ride one down to the ocean… They can pick us up from there." Tenn said as he pointed out things on the ship.

"Yeah, real fu***** vacation," South muttered as Tenn hummed and gestured for Delta to spin the hologram which he did so.

"Failing that? We get one of the missiles to go off, thing should cripple enough systems to send it sailing into the ocean." South stated before she clicked her tongue against the roof of his mouth.

Was there a lot more to try and do more and more? He didn't at all know what to try for the time being while she clicked her tongue against the roof as she hummed to herself before she sighed.

They had a lot more to try and understand for the moment. Something about it all seemed to be odder and odder as she looked downwards at the ground.

They had a lot more on the line for this mission. A simple reward was the same as dropping a drink into the cup, so much would come from it all, so much the better and nothing could stop it for now.

It was going to suck and it was going to suck BIG TIME. Even if they got this done? They damn well knew they'd still be fighting rebels for now, that was certain for now.

All of the stuff bothering them, for now, wouldn't be gone anytime soon, it was just going to be another day for Project Freelancer… Not for their enemies as of the time being.

"I understand the disturbing implications of this mission. The risks have been run." Delta said before he blinked. "The risk of Agent Tennessee's plan going array is 32.8% if the pod's systems are damaged or at least offline," Delta stated before he sighed to himself.

"Great, 70% percent chance." Tenn snarked as he sighed before he looked at South. "If this mission goes screwy and I end up almost dying? I'm getting a statue on Earth for this crap." Tenn said before he tented his fingers.

"I'm getting 2," South said before the Director stepped aside for the moment.

"So, what, it's a popularity contest?" They heard as they snorted and looked at each other.

"Great… Hey, old man? You get higher up on the leaderboard in the meantime?" South asked as Tenn continued to look down at the hologram.

North stepped into the room as did York. It was clear North and South still had some animosity to work out between them at the end of the day. He looked at both of them and beckoned them in.

"I thought you said it was us, North and Wyoming… Wait, let me guess… There's a lock you need to hack." Tenn said with a smirk.

"Thank you, Agent Tenn… But yes. We also decided it would be better if the team sent is 5 members, cover more ground and be more effective as a group." Tenn heard as North deployed Theta.

"Taking out a warship isn't exactly going to help us find the rebels. They go to ground." North said as Tenn hummed.

"He's right, they're going to be awkward and in the way. Anything else besides that isn't going to be something we can handle for now." Tenn said before rubbing at his temples and then looking downwards.

"I don't know what else is coming, but I do know something about it isn't going to happen for now," Tenn stated before he sighed to himself, ready to explode in a few seconds as he looked downwards at the ground.

They had a LOT more to see and do for now, a LOT more to try and do for the second and it was odder and odder to try and deal with.

They knew what was coming and knew what would be thrown at the path when it comes down to it. Something about it all seemed to rub him further and further as he hummed and looked around the room, ready to scream and perhaps go insane.

He would say something but it was part of life that siblings didn't get along at the end of the moment as she hummed to herself before she clicked her fingers against the roof of her mouth once more.

South looked at him hummed, able to understand at the moment that would allow him to be bothered for now… It was odd but not impossible to fix, for now, something that could keep growing through the earth.

All the problems in life cut through him like a knife, through HER like a bladed axe. It would be better to see it all end sooner or later but one could not be too sure for the time being.

They simply had too damn much upon the mind, either way, a part of life that bothered them again and again. They didn't understand because they simply COULDN'T understand sooner or later. All of it just blended in just the right way.

They had a LOT more to try and do either way and it would end sooner or later.

South seemed to try and understand as of the measure what was going on as she looked upwards and into the sky, so much to see and do and so little time to do it in.

She didn't even want to try and figure out what the best move was as she looked downwards at the ground, unable to try and fight through it all.

She would keep going onwards again and again, unsure of what to try and deal with as she seemed to understand for now, a measure within which that needed to be dealt with.

She crossed her legs under her, watching as Tenn was able to try and sit up, reminding her that he was just as heavily wounded.

"They have a lot more angles to cut through, something on the mind, but they have a lot more soldiers to deal with," Tenn said as he crossed his arms, looking to the side once more.

"There's a lot more soldiers here on this hanger. I don't think we have to try and fight through all of them here." Tenn stated as he cracked his fingers once more.

"Maybe, but still have to get OFF the ship and that means fighting about 50 more soldiers… That thing is a small warship so it's got to have at LEAST 200 men on it which means taking it offline AINT going to be easy." South said as North nodded.

"Agreed, we should have York deal with the escape pods, would be better to have a way off the ship planned for when we get everything else settled," North said as South hummed.

"Oh, you can plan something…" Tenn heard from South before she looked downwards at the ground. "This isn't going to be easy. We have to destroy the rest of the ship anyway, the sooner that's done? Sooner we can get home and I can get this damn cast off." South said as Tenn hummed.

"I feel like crap." South heard from Tenn as she looked over.

"Well, welcome to the damn club," South said as she sighed and tapped on her arm. "There's going to be hell to pay before today is over, lots of dead rebels. The sooner they are dead? Soon we can relax… And sooner I get a fancy new AI." South said as Tenn sighed.

"Least someone will get what they want," Tenn said, patting her on her arm as he hummed to himself, glancing around the room.

All of it seemed only to bother him at the end of the day, bother him to hell and back for now and forever at the end of the day.

All of it was odd, all was odd and odder, for now, they had a lot more to see. She sighed as she watched her friend slowly think over the call, uncertain of what was going to happen.

"This spot here is also where we can get the missiles online… Maybe take the gravity offline as well." Tenn said as the others looked at him. "I've worked on a few dozen ships in my time and it comes with it…" Tenn said as North nodded.

"Then Tenn and South can go get the relic while we go rip the ship up… Then we meet up with York at the bay and deal with it from there." North said as Tenn hummed.

"We don't know what's ON the ship, so maybe keep that for plan B." North heard from York as South rolled her eyes.

"A bunch of jackasses with guns we're going to shoot to try and get what they have, North. It isn't damn rocket science." South muttered as Tenn rolled his eyes.

"You two are such LOVELY siblings," Tenn muttered before he turned back to the map. "We need to try and also find out how to get in silently… Getting in is fine and I'm all for a good fight? But the second they find us? We get to deal with a giant locked door and about 50 guards with turrets." Tenn said before he cracked his fingers.

"He's right, they would see it coming, they know what happens if we manage it, they know what we're there for," South said, tapping her good foot on the ground.

"Wyoming? Can you handle that or are we going to need to get creative?" North asked as York hummed.

"Gamma is more creative than Wyoming." York snarked to which he got a glare. "It's true, still… They had a lot more security than we can with solo at the end of the day." York said before he sighed.

"Which is why we have to try and cut them down and hack into their security… I believe we send over Gamma and Delta, trick them, and keep them busy while we fly in, pretending we're there for something… Take out the rest of the hanger security." Tenn said as South nodded.

"While these two fools around within their systems and get us everything ready. Nice job." South said as Tenn hummed.

South tapped her foot on the ground as she sighed, unsure and unable to do something about it all. She didn't know what to say for now but it was worth some small measure of mercy.

It was worth it at least to know that they'd be making a difference and she'd FINALLY get to try and deal with the big problems like she planned to.

Tenn said nothing, unsure of what to try and figure out for now… It would be odder and odder to try and figure out as he looked upwards and into the sky, sighing to himself as he sighed, unsure of himself.

What the hell was going on? what would be said and done? They had a LARGE amount of mercy, something that bugged him for now… It wouldn't end, something that continued to be odder and odder.

"Ok, time to get to the plan… They have a plan and we have a plan. The sooner we learn how well it works?"

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will be showing more of the final day before the mission and will be 900-6500 words. Until then, Lighting Wolf is out!
