Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Southern Hospitality. Enjoy the 3700-word chapter. I don't own Red vs Blue; Rooster Teeth and a few others do.
South hated how her leg felt partly because it was annoying and partly because she knew well enough that what could be completely underhanded for now.
It was a lot worse than properly. They had a lot more problems than usual. She hummed as she clicked her tongue against the roof of his mouth as he sighed and then looked downwards at the ground.
She had a lot more to see and do for now as she sighed and then looked downwards at the ground, already tired for now at the end of the day.
It wasn't fair, it truly at all something that could be bothering them… It was annoying but they would carry on for now, something that merely bugged them again and again… Such problems were beyond her.
"You know failing this mission means the director isn't going to let us go on missions anymore, right?" South asked as she looked at Tenn who was silent, looking at the ground for now.
"Not what he said, he said our ranking would plunge if we didn't do this. Which makes sense, wee… I flubbed a mission, there's a lot of reason for him to be annoyed." Tenn stated before he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
He had a suspicion the blonde agent would get utterly relaxed which she seemed to keep growing at the end of the day. She wouldn't end once more as she sighed and looked at her battle rifle and her helmet on the shelf next to her.
"Are you utterly ok at the end of the day doing something with a bum leg?" South heard as she nodded before she looked downwards at the moment.
She sighed once more, unsure more than anything at the end of the day. She was tired, worn down, and beaten into the ground for the moment… A sane woman might cry out and into the atmosphere.
She was utterly unsure and yet it seemed to be utterly relaxed for now as of now.
"Are you ok?" South asked as Tenn shrugged before he looked downwards at the ground. "This is going to have a famous moment for us. The big mission at the end of the day." South said as Tenn hummed before she looked.
"You know, I can tell your more nervous at the end of the day," Tenn said before South frowned and smirked to herself.
"We're all nervous. I'm damn well willing to melt into the ground right now." South said and tapped her hands on her knees. "You think I'm screwing with you," South said before Tenn hummed once more.
"I'm utterly convinced the great Agent South Dakota is screwing with me because you know that I'm not going to understand it for now," South stated before she clicked her tongue.
"So many damn problems with this mission, so many problems that could go wrong, and yet when it comes down to it all for now? I don't know what the hell is going on here." South said as she smiled and playfully kicked his good leg for the moment as of now.
"You should know well enough that whatever comes? It ain't going to be easy… Yet? I don't know what's going on?" South asked before Tenn sighed and hummed to himself.
He had a lot more to it all, a LOT more at the end of the day… Something which could and would push him to his limits.
He sighed as he rubbed his temples, he would need to try and figure out what to do next. South looked at him rather playfully, totally amused more than anything at the moment, sitting next to him as he raised an eyebrow.
"You, ok?" Tenn asked as he raised an eyebrow and fell silent.
"Don't know, I'm a little too tired to say much of anything," Tenn said as he sighed and fell silent.
"So, you tired?" South asked, poking him in the side.
"Just tired, you? These damn beds can't be good for someone's back and I know damn well the painkillers aren't doing the crap they used to." Tenn stated before he sighed as he looked downwards at the ground.
He had a LOT more to try and figure out and yet he seemed utterly amused for now, something of which he could not relax… There were a lot of things he needed to be dealt with, it wouldn't be dealt with easily.
She poked him in the side and leaned on him, making him raise an eyebrow at her.
"You know we're going to have to do a lot of fighting at the time and a lot of us might die," South said, leaning her head on his shoulder as he hummed.
"Right, which one of us is after the AI? Me or the blonde-haired lady next to me who's been busy trying to figure out how to get the ai and all that? Because I think it's the blonde-haired lady." Tenn said as he felt another punch to the shoulder.
He knew one honestly certain thing… She was utterly silent before she sighed and looked downwards toward the ground.
He hummed and banged his on his knees, amused more and more as he did so. He knew that South wanted the AI, she was busy fiddling with her legs as he sighed and straightened upwards. The amount of exhaustion he felt was damn near endless pain and exhaustion for now.
If anything? He was worn down, beaten into the ground like a flame boiled turtle.
He felt less capable of getting up than it should have been possible, there were a lot of things that could keep growing and going at the end of the day.
This? This was not something he normally dealt with and he knew it more and more at the end of the day. Such things only made him more tired knowing it for now.
Perhaps for the best at any rate. They had a lot more to try and deal with it as he hummed as she clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth before she sighed to herself.
She hummed once again and then sighed to herself before looking at Tenn as she sighed.
Tenn hummed before he removed the clip of a magazine from his weapon and then sighed again before he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
"South? Are you ok? There are a few seconds of doubt in your brain, your eyes are cutting everything up like a damn chainsaw." South stated before she paused against the maelstrom.
This was just too much to try and figure out as Tenn paused, South hummed before she set her feet on the ground, a series of cracks reminding her that she was still wounded before now.
"South," Tenn said as she grumbled and rubbed at her stomach.
"Damn it… So, this is how mom felt when she gave birth… Feels like I got kicked by a horse." South stated before she sighed before she looked downwards at the ground.
She hummed and looked upwards at Tenn as he hummed before he clicked his fingers and then clicked his fingers before she sighed once again as she smiled at the moment.
There was just a moment of mercy as he sighed before he rolled his eyes and looked at her. He slowly yet surely seemed to get upset than before he sat down to her and then looked at her, raising an eyebrow as the two looked around the sterile white room around them.
"What, you got a…" South heard as she slammed an elbow into the man's chest before rolling her eyes. "There's a lot more to this crap and I'm trying and relaxing. You're worrying me as your partner for now." South stated before she sighed.
"There are a lot of things to try and deal with this. I've gotten screwed over a lot and all of this is bothering me." South stated before she rubbed at her temples and she clicked her fingers.
"You should tell me then," Tenn stated before South more than usually smiled. "You able to relax? I should know what's going on when it comes down to it. This mission isn't going to be easy and you know it, there's a lot more to deal with than this, we're not going to end this war with one little battle." Tenn stated before he sighed and knew damn well what was going on.
She was tired and he was utterly… Worn down, pretending not to be able to exist in a sort of being with it all. He had far too many problems to deal with knowing that it could be dealt with for now, something that would not be dealt with easily.
Perhaps it was odd to deal with, he didn't know and didn't care for the time being when push came to shove as of the end of the day, so much more the better.
He would not be able to try and figure something out more and more when it came down to it, he knew that such things were too easily dealt with in waves when it was all done. He was amused with this sort of thing, something that he could deal with.
South only seemed to be dealt with in waves that he could not imagine for such a thing, he didn't know what was coming.
"You know that we're going to keep relaxing and relaxing and you're still going to whine about your leg… Because it's still hurt and I'm still here wondering how I have a woman like that for a partner." Tenn said as he got another punch to the shoulder.
"You're lucky I have braces on my arm and leg or I'd kick your ass," South stated before Tenn hummed and looked downwards at the ground.
"Sure, there's a lot of things I'd much rather do… But this is always going to be something going on and you should know more and more problems are going to happen when it comes down to it. I'm not going to allow it to end like that." Tenn said before he sighed.
He knew more and more would grow to end for now, something that he could and would be able to try and figure out something at the end of the day as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
Such things would continue to try and figure it all out and knowing that he would be able to end it for now, he would end it for now as he would be able to try and figure it out more and more as he clicked his jaw against the top of his finger.
He hummed to himself as he sighed to try and deal with it as of now.
South sighed and slowly yet surely crossed her feet under her, propping the blonde freelancer to her feet, there were a lot of things that could end more and more as of now. This would need to end for a moment and it would end in due time for now, this would be odder and odder for now.
Tenn felt her lean upon his shoulder, unsure and uncertain of something that could and would keep growing more and more annoying and uncertain of it out for now.
Perhaps he could be odder and odder and perhaps he could try and figure out the madness he had upon his mind.
Perhaps he could duck through it but he didn't wish to try and end it on this note, not when such methods would not be able to end it in the way he wanted it to.
No, it had to break and it would break before it all came crashing to the ground in fire and explosions for now, knowing what he could do next was south of unbearable to them all and for good reason at the time being, a very good one.
Whatever he did deal with? This would only continue to make him laugh, knowing that he could afford it, making sure he was only dealt with for now… He had a lot more to try and figure out, something about it seemed to keep growing through the ground.
He had problems beyond that, beyond everything that stood in the way.
"You should relax, there's a lot of things we're going to need to try and relax it downwards at the ground." South heard, Tenn hum before he looked to the side.
Tenn was utterly unsure of what to tell the woman as of now. She was in another caliber of soldier at the moment but she was a good soldier and he didn't want to try and relax with her for now before now.
South hummed to herself as she realized that he was going to mess with her until they were consumed entirely and honestly. It was a lot more to try and bury.
She looked over at him as she crossed her legs under her, cracking her fingers and toes at the same time with audible pain within her body.
Whatever came next? It would need to end sometime soon before she hummed. She looked at the bruises and cuts on her fractured leg, scars from the pain and years of fighting she had been part of, the scar on her face, a combat blade that had sliced her cheek and cut up her flesh.
If anything? She was aware of what had happened, she knew what was going to happen, and the next move was all too obvious.
This wasn't going to be something that could be done easily. The fight? Their battles? It was either they died or something else came in with the wreckage.
Either way? He had a point; this message wasn't something that they could deal with… If they were going to war? They'd go to war before now, it could be dealt with copious amounts of violence and killing. It didn't mean much for it and he didn't know for now.
He would relax, he had to for now. This wasn't going to be something that he was able to cut through.
All such things would end, he wasn't going to be able to try and figure out what to do.
"We either get going or we die, we either sink or swim… This is just how things go for now. I'm annoyed by it all, and yet I cannot handle it." South stated before she sighed to herself.
Perhaps it wasn't enough, but it was going to deal with it now. They had a lot more maneuvers to get through and it all seemed to be madness.
Perhaps the fear within him would need to cut through as he hummed to himself and yawned to himself.
This madness would be a fear that they had to conquer for now and for good reason at the end of the day. They had a lot of problems to deal with and he had a lot more on his mercy than for now.
There was a lot more to try and figure something that he could reasonably be dealt with and he knew it, knew that damn well enough.
"You should know I've got my fair share of scars as well; I've been spent dealing with things, part of being a soldier." South heard as Tenn paused, only starting to look down at his feet. "Pelican I was on was shot down if I had been a seat over? I'd probably be sucking oxygen through a tube or even dead." Tenn stated before he sighed.
South hummed, watching as he tucked his legs under him. He took a deep breath and then turned, glancing at her a few seconds later.
"This isn't the first time I've broken my leg. It isn't the first time I've been shot either or put on the spot, I've done a lot of stupid crap I'm not proud of, I'm sure you have done the same but it doesn't matter… I'm a soldier, this crap is something that I'm used to, it is in the blood." Tenn stated before he sighed, pausing only to think of another angle to attack.
Perhaps such a thing made him tired, perhaps he felt her drum on her feet, shoulder bumping his as he hummed, looking downwards at the ground.
"So you want to prove yourself," South stated before Tenn shook his head, pausing only to think.
"Not even close… I've tried that before, it's not something I'm honestly planning to deal with for now. Why do you care so much if you're the best?" Tenn stated before he sighed, rubbing at his temples.
"Because I've had to put up with this, for now, I've been dealing with being the spare the ENTIRE time," South stated before she sighed, relaxing for now, pausing for a few seconds while she drummed on her legs, kicking her feet to the side.
"Your brother is that much of a scumbag? Or was it something else? He doesn't seem that insane when it comes down to it." Tenn stated to which South.
South hummed, leaning back on the seat and then against her friend, utterly thrown off for now. They had a lot more to do and she would keep relaxing more and more if she could, something that she had been utterly thrown off, unsure of what would be dealt with.
She would continue to relax, unknown for now but looking at him before she paused and looked downwards at the ground, leaning on his side, unsure of what to try and do next before she sighed, unsure of.
She didn't know him and he didn't know her but she trusted him, wanted it at least… It felt less like she had some form of mercy and more like he didn't know what was going on anymore.
She just wanted to scream and break something to make it all stop and all of it receded.
"I got this scar because one of those asshat rebels ended up taking a combat knife to my face during a raid… The doctor said I could probably heal it with some grafts… I said no." South stated as Tenn hummed.
"I'm going to assume based on the fact that you roundhouse kicked a rebel so hard their face was slammed into a locker so hard it broke?" Tenn questioned before humming.
"That I kick ass? Yes, I do… And the director never seems to give a damn. Every damn time I look good? What happens? He has to make it seem like I've done NOTHING to help." South stated to which Tenn hummed.
"It fully depends upon the issue, fully, utterly…" Tenn stated before he sighed before he seemed to relax more and more at the time being.
Tenn paused before she seemed to pause to try to figure out something. There were a lot of issues that she could be like it before now, South paused before she relaxed, leaning on his side as both agents before now.
Tenn sighed before he paused and then looked downwards at the ground for a moment, staring into the massive amount of steel under his feet.
South looked at Tenn and paused to think for a second how she felt at the end of the day, not wanting to do more than relax, she wanted nothing more than to fall silent, utterly unwilling to relax.
She didn't need to try and figure out something that she could need to pause to hum to herself.
She didn't want to pause, she didn't want to relax for now… They had a LOT more to do next at the end of the day.
"You're an asshole, you know?" South asked before Tenn paused, a smirk coming from his mouth. "Trying to analyze for me and find out how I tick, I cannot figure it out," South stated before she paused to think for now.
"Can't figure out the limit if I can't figure out the person," Tenn said before he sighed. "Plus? You aren't much better; you have some issues." Tenn stated before she seemed to look.
"So… You are a jackass," South stated as Tenn rolled his eyes.
"Says the woman who carried the jackass to the pelican then refused to stop carrying me all the way over to the medical bay," Tenn stated before he sighed, utterly relaxed.
All it did was annoy him; a lot more than it should have been a thing to deal with it for now as he seemed to fall silent. He paused to relax.
South was screaming to herself as she realized more and more, unwilling to do something now.
She crossed her arms before she seemed to rub at her eyes before yawning, relaxing and then paused to seem and then pausing to let it all sink in, clearly knowing it would be harder to deal with it.
She had no ideas about next time, none, wanting to simply bow down and accept it, not knowing for now what would become of it.
There were a lot of measures to cut through such a thing… There was more for South to be digging through, there was a lot more to see and do next, but it could be dealt with.
She was not willing to admit she was cut to the bone by her experiences. She was not willing to deal with it for now, it was paused, thrown to the ground and something to be done with.
There was just nothing there, nothing of value to contribute. She? She had NOTHING resembling skill, it didn't seem to make them deal with such an issue.
There was just something to be done and something else to be thrown to the side… It meant little to them… And would mean the dealt of their soldiers. It would not matter, not at all to her at least relax… Some ideas, ones which would not be dealt with… Something that was a very odd problem.
