In this story, Shadow wakes up with a really bad headache from him passing out the night before. Sonic suggested he takes Tylenol but Shadow's never had it before. So getting him to take could be a challenge.
Early Saturday morning, Everyone was downstairs in the living room sleeping. Sonic was the first to wake up. His body more tired then normal.
Sonic: Ugh...what...what happened?
He rubbed his head in pain and confusion. When he fully opened his eyes, he looked around and saw that everyone was either on the couch or on the floor sleeping.
Sonic: G-Guys? Wake up.
No one seemed to hear him except for Tails and Rouge. They were just as confused as Sonic was.
Rouge: Mmm...
Tails: What happened?
Sonic: The last thing I remember was dancing last night? And my head kinda hurts.
Tails: Dancing?
That's when Tails remembered that the team had a small party last night. Just then everyone started to wake up.
Sonic: Is everybody ok?
Amy: I think so.
Knuckles: What happened last night?
Sliver: And why do our heads hurts so much?
Tails: I think it was from our party last night, you guys. We got so tired that we must've slept down here.
Rouge: Well, that would make sense. Wait a minute. Where's Shadow?
Everyone looked around to see Shadow was the only one that wasn't downstairs. That when Sonic remembered.
Sonic: Rouge, Shadow went to sleep upstairs, remember? In fact her was the only one out of all of up that passed out last
Rouge: Oh right...
That's when they all heard groaning coming from Shadow's room, and Sonic ran up there. When he opened the door, he saw Shadow tossing and turning in bed while holding his head in his hands. He looked like he was in pain.
Sonic: Shadow?! What's wrong?!
Shadow: It...hurts.
Sonic wrapped his arms around Shadow to try and calm him down.
Sonic: What hurts?
Shadow: My head! It hurts, Sonikku! It hurts!
Sonic: Shh Shh. It's ok. Sonikku's right here. Lay back down, alright? I'll be right back.
He laid Shadow back down and went back downstairs. He was in the kitchen grabbing some water when Rouge walked in.
Rouge: Hey, Sonic. You ok?
Sonic: Yeah. It Shadow I'm worried about. His headache is worse than the rest of us.
Rouge: So you're saying he drank too much, huh?
Sonic: I think so. We tried to warn him not too. But him being Shadow he didn't listen. But I have an idea how to help him feel better.
Rouge: How?
Sonic: Tylenol. It works for me when I have a headache.
Rouge looked away from Sonic for a moment.
Rouge: There's just one problem about that, Hun. Shadow's never had Tylenol before, so I don't think he'll want to take it.
Sonic: Well, then I'll need your help giving it to him.
Rouge: Not a problem, blue.
Sonic went back up to Shadow's room while Rouge went to grab some Tylenol. Shadow was still holding his head while tossing and turning.
Sonic: Shad?
Shadow: Huh?
Sonic: I know you're in pain, but I have a way to make it stop.
Just then, Rouge walked in with the bottle of Tylenol. Shadow immediately pulled his covers over his head.
Rouge: See? I told you.
Sonic: Shadow, come on out. I know you haven't taken Tylenol before but there's no side effects. Besides, I don't like taking it much either but it does help. I promise it's not that bad.
Shadow peeked his aching head out of his sheets and looked up at Sonic and then at Rouge who nodded in agreement.
Shadow: No thanks!
Rouge: Shadow, do you want your headache to go away or not?
Shadow really had no choice did he? Sonic helped him sit up slowly so as not to hurt him even more.
Sonic: Don't worry, Shadow. It'll be over soon.
Rouge: It just one swallow and your head should start feeling better in a few minutes.
Shadow: Ugh...fine.
They gave him one of the pills and he put it in his mouth. It tasted gross but luckily, Sonic still had the water he was getting for Shadow earlier and he gave to him. Shadow drunk it all down to get the taste out of his mouth.
Rouge: See, that wasn't so bad, right?
Shadow: I...guess not.
Sonic: How do you feel?
Shadow: Well, a little better. Thanks to you guys.
Sonic: Good. Now get some rest. It might take a few minutes for it to work completely.
Shadow Thanks, guys.
With that, Shadow went back to sleep.
Sonic: We should let him sleep. Come on.
Sonic and Rouge left the room to let Shadow rest. After a few hours, Sonic went to check on him. He saw him sitting up in bed, rubbing his eyes as he just woke up.
Sonic: How are you feeling, Shadow-Kun?
Shadow: Much better. Thanks to you.
Sonic: I told you the Tylenol works.
