In this story, the Freedom Fighters woke up one morning to find Tails is missing. Until they find a note saying he was kidnapped.
It was a normal Saturday morning. And Shadow was just waking up when someone knocked on the door. He yelled for who ever it was to come in. And it was Rouge who opened the door.
Rouge: Morning, Shadow.
Shadow: Morning, Rouge. What are you doing here so early?
Rouge: Sonic told me to wake you. Ready for breakfast?
Shadow: Sure. Just give me a few minutes.
Five minutes later, Shadow came downstairs to find everyone looking for something.
Shadow: Uh...what's going on?
Amy: Tails is missing!
Knuckles: I checked everywhere upstairs. But no sign of him.
Shadow: Well, he couldn't have gone far. And where's Sonic?
Snowflake: He went to look for him. Starting at his workshop, I think.
Just then, Sonic burst through the door panting and sweaty. He fell to his knees and started shaking.
Shadow: Sonic! Are you ok?
Sonic suddenly stood up. He grabbed Shadow by the shoulders and started shaking him.
Sonic: How can I be ok when my lil bro's missing?! Are you we going to do?!
Shadow: Well, stop shaking me for a start cause you're making me dizzy.
Sonic immediately let go of Shadow.
Sonic: Sorry.
Shadow: Calm down, Sonic. We'll find him.
Amy: But we've looked everywhere.
Sonic: I...I need to lay down.
Knuckles: Don't you want...
Sonic: I'm not hungry, Knuckles. But thanks.
Sonic ran back to his room and slammed the door behind him.
Knuckles: I was just gonna ask if he wanted to keep looking.
Shadow: He's upset, you knucklehead! We have to keep looking for Miles without him!
For the whole day, everyone was looking for Tails. They even asked everyone around including his parents. But no one had a clue on where he could be. After hours of searching, everyone was on their way home devastated.
Rouge: It's no use.
Shadow: We can't give up now. Sonic's counting on us.
Knuckles: but we've already looked everywhere for him. It's like he's vanished.
Amy: What are we gonna tell Sonic?
Shadow: You guys go home. I'll keep looking.
Sliver: But, Shadow. It about to thunderstorm.
Shadow: Well, I told Sonic I would find him and I'm not resting till I do. Plus, we all know Miles dosen't like thunderstorms.
Suddenly, a piece of paper flew on Shadow's face. He took it off and looked through it then let out a gasp.
Snowflake: What is it?
Shadow: Miles has been kidnapped!
Everyone: What?!
Shadow: Come on, team. We have to tell Sonic.
