In ths story, Shadow started having shock attacks. But no one knew what was causing it.

A normal Saturday afternoon on Mobius. Sonic was just in the living room watching TV when he heard a scream.

Sonic: Huh? What was that?

Just then Tails burst throught the front door panting.

Sonic: Tails? What's up, lil bro?

Tails: Sonic [pant] come outside! it's [pant] It's Shadow!

Sonic: What?! What's wrong?!

Tails: Come on. I'll show you.

Sonic immediately turned the TV off and ran after Tails. When the got to the park close to their house Sonic was shocked at the sight. Everyone was gathered around Shadow who was on the ground curled up with his head in his hands. He was shaking and tossing himself around. It was almost like he was having a seizure.

Sonic: What's gong on?

Silver: Shadow's been shaking like this for almost an hour now. It's like he's having an mental breakdown.

Rouge: I've seen him have a breakdown once before, but it wasn't like this.

Sonic: Did you guys at least try to calm him down?

Snowflake: We tried, but nothing worked.

Sonic: Alright. I'll take care of this.

With that, Sonic got on his knees and try to pick up Shadow's head; but to his surprise, Shadow slapped his hand away, got up and started running.

Sonic: Shadow! Wait!

Thunder: Come back!

But Shadow just kept running. Luckily, he didn't get too far. Once he stopped, he burst into tears and started shaking again. He was about to collapse but thankfully, Sonic ran to him and caught him just in time. He held him and started rocking his head.

Sonic: Hey. It's ok, Shadow. You're ok. I've got you. Sonikku's right here.

Shadow: S-S-Sonic?

Sonic: Shhh. It's ok. I know. You're just in shock. So calm down, alright? I'm here. You're ok. Everything's fine now.

Shadow was touched by Sonic's words and calmed down a bit.

Sonic: There. See? You're all good now. Whatever happened wasn't real, ok?

Shadow: [Sniff] A-Alright.

Sonic: C'mon. Let's get you to the hospital.

Shadow: Why?

Rouge: Well, first of all, it isn't the first time you've had a shock attack like this.

Snowflake: You want some help getting up, Shadow?

Shadow: No thanks. I can get up myself.

Well, he tried. But he kept falling back down. Sonic and Tails gave him some help getting back on his feet. However, he was still unable to stand properly on his own.

Sonic: Here. Lean on me, babe. I'll help you.

Shadow: Thanks, Sonic.

Together, the two hedgehogs went to the hospital. After a few tests, the doctor took Sonic into a separate room and said Shadow was perfectly fine. His shocks were just trigger whenever he was upset or angry.

Sonic: So, he just gets shock attacks?

Doctor: Yes. Just try to keep him from anything that could upset him.

Sonic: Sure thing. Thanks, Doc.
