A few days after the shocking news that Total Drama had been cancelled due to the poor ratings of Pahkitew Island as well as the second arrest of Chris McLean, the Jackson Family continued their day to day life like normal. Everyone except for Vivian. She was just so devastated by the fact that Total Drama was no longer around that she refused to get out of bed except to get something to eat or drink on occasion.

Vivian was currently lying in her bed, her face buried in her pillow as she groaned in agony. "Damn it, Chris...Why'd ya have t'go an' turn into a callous psychopath who didn't give a flyin' fart 'bout the contestants' well-bein'...? Had ya stuck ta yer persona from Island and Action, I'm sure ya coulda prevented all of this from happenin'..." The patriotic young woman let out a frustrated exhale before she heard a knock on her bedroom door.

"Who's there?" Vivian asked as she turned to look at the door.

"It's me, Viv. Can I come in and talk to ya fer a moment?" Vivian's father Amos asked from the other side of the door.

Vivian thought about it before coming to a decision. "Sure, pa. Ya can come in, but only 'cause it's you." She replied to her father, who proceeded to open the door and entered the room before shutting the door behind him. He then walked over to Vivian's bed and sat down on it, placing a hand on his daughter's shoulder.

"Look, Viv. I know it stings that Total Drama has been cancelled an' that ya wanted ta compete on the show yerself in the future, but ya gotta try an' move on from this. Ya can't invest yer whole identity into Total Drama, ya know?" Amos explained to his daughter.

Vivian sadly nodded at her father's words. "I know, pa...I know...Total Drama ain't a necessity in life...But if I can't compete on Total Drama, then what other reality shows could be out there fer me ta compete on? I mean, while I can cook up some mean juicy steaks on the barbecue, I doubt there'd be an audience fer a reality show competition based around people who are skilled at firin' up the barbecue...And there was this show called American Candidate fer aspirin' politicians, but that was just a one-off thing fer the 2004 presidential elections, so I doubt there'd be somethin' fer aspirin' politicians like myself either..." She explained to her father in return.

"Well, I'm sure the Canadian television network is cookin' up somethin' right now. I mean, now that Total Drama's been taken off the airwaves of the world, they gotta figure out somethin' new ta take up Total Drama's time slot. But until that new show comes up, ya gotta try an' get back ta yer daily way of livin'. The chickens an' the pigs an' the horses need feedin' and there's just so much else that needs ta be done 'round the ranch. So, c'mon, Viv. Big smile." Amos told his daughter with a smile.

Vivian returned the smile and nodded. "Alright, pa. I'll do my best. I'll go get dressed an' then go get ta work on the ranch. We're havin' the leftovers from last night's barbecue fer dinner tonight?" She then asked her father.

"We are. I'll be seein' ya there." Amos smiled once more as he gave Vivian a pat on the shoulder before getting up from where he was sitting and left the room so that Vivian could get dressed in peace. Once Vivian had gotten dressed, she left her room and went to go help out her family on the ranch.

Later that night, after the Jackson Family had gotten all of their chores around the ranch done, they had once again gathered at their backyard terrace and were enjoying the leftovers from the barbecue they had yesterday.

"Glad yer father could get ya pepped up enough fer yer chores again, Viv. We missed seein' yer silly face 'round the ranch the past few days." Vivian's mother June told Vivian as she took a bite of her cooked moose meat after having dipped it into some smoking hot barbecue sauce.

"I understand, ma. I just needed some time ta myself an' accept that Total Drama's off the airwaves. Pa said that those reality show execs over there in Canada are probably already workin' on somethin' new ta fill up Total Drama's time slot on television. It's just a matter of waitin' when it will show itself." Vivian told her mother as she also took a bite of her cooked moose meat, smothered in barbecue sauce.

"Well, I think that ya won't have ta wait fer that too long, Vivian. Come take a look at what they're showin' on tv right now." Her older brother Johnny informed her as the Jackson Family made their way over to the tv to see what was going on. This time, a commercial was shown playing on the tv.

A muscular Caucasian human male that stood at about 6 foot and 5 inches tall with spiky light brown hair and light brown eyes who wore a white t-shirt underneath an unzipped gray hoodie along with stonewashed gray jeans and black tennis shoes was shown on the tv screen.

"Greetings and salutations, ladies, gentlemen and children of all ages! My name's Sylvester Castle, and for my new reality television adventure, I'm looking for YOU!" The spiky haired male began to speak as he shot a pair of finger guns at the tv. The Jackson Family looked at each other before looking back at the tv.

"Here's the deal. I'm looking for 20 contestants between the age of 18 and 21 to spend 6 weeks on an island off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada, where they have to compete in challenges and try to outwit, outplay, and outlast each other until only one contestant remains. The winner of this competition will not only win the small fortune of a million dollars, but they will also win ownership of the island that the competition takes place on. If you're between the age of 18 and 21 and you think you have it in you to take on this adventure, then don't hesitate, and audition NOW!" Sylvester continued to explain the premise of the show before shooting another pair of finger guns at the the camera.

Vivian grinned as she senses an opportunity for adventure. "Yee-haw! Now THIS looks like a fun lil adventure fer me! Once dinner's done, I'm gonna head on over ta the website fer this new show Sylvester's talkin' 'bout and see what I can do ta sign up!" She cheered.

"That's the spirit, Viv! Glad ya decided ta take on this opportunity so optimistically!" Amos grinned as the rest of the family began to cheer as well. They soon went back outside to continue eating their food so that Vivian could get to work on the application process for Sylvester Castle's new show.
