It's been a few months since Sylvester Castle had announced his new show to the world. Interest in the show had been expressed, and people aged 18-21 from all over the world signed up for the show. In the end, 20 contestants were selected to compete on the show, and today, filming of the show began as the first episode of Sylvester's show opened with a shot of the island that was taken by a drone, as it showed off the island in all its glory, with caves, and forests, and rivers and mountains and everything the North American wilderness had to offer. All of it could be seen as far as the eye could see before the drone flew towards a dock at the south end of the island, where Sylvester was crouched down beneath the camera, ready to start filming.

"And...action!" A crew member said as Sylvester jumped into frame, wearing the same outfit he wore for the commercial advertising the signup process for the show.

"Greetings and salutations, ladies and gentlemen and children of all ages! My name is Sylvester Castle, and I would like to welcome you to Prince Charles Island, somewhere off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada! Season 1 of the hottest new reality show on television is about to begin, and you do not wanna miss it!" Sylvester began to speak and he walked down the dock he was standing on.

"I'm gonna give you a rundown of what the show's gonna be like: 20 contestants aged 18-21 have signed up to spend 6 weeks on Prince Charles Island. They will be split up into two teams, and every three days, they will be competing against each other in a challenge that will determine the fate of one unlucky contestant each episode. Because the team that loses a challenge will be forced to attend Island Council, where the goal is to vote out one of their own team members. This continues until the teams are merged, after which only one contestant can save themselves from elimination at Island Council. This once again continues until there's only one contestant remaining, and said contestant will be declared the winner of the show, and they will be rewarded with a small fortune of a million dollars and ownership of Prince Charles Island. Who will be able to outwit, outplay and outlast all the other contestants and claim victory? Find out as we will be meeting our 20 contestants today on...Castle Crashers." Sylvester grinned as the camera zoomed in on him for the last part of his intro monologue.

The show's intro then proceeded to play, but we will be skipping that and moving straight to the introduction of the contestants. We see Sylvester back on the dock he was standing on before.

"Welcome back to Castle Crashers. It's time to meet our 20 brave contestants, beginning with the first 10 of them." Sylvester spoke before a boat pulled up to the dock and the first contestant departed from it together with their luggage. The contestant in question was a brown skinned male with brown eyes and short shaven black hair as well as a muscular build standing at about 6 foot and 2 inches tall. His outfit consisted of a red and white varsity jacket along with stonewashed black jeans and red and white running shoes.

His name was Zarian Brown, and he came from Portland, Oregon, USA. "Yo, Zarian. What's up?" Sylvester asked the muscular brown skinned man as he set down his luggage.

"Not much, bro. What about you? Gotta love what you've done with the island. Much more homey than Camp Wawanakwa, that's for sure." Zarian replied with a kind smile.

"Thanks, man. If you already love the island, then I'm sure you're gonna love the people you'll be spending the next 6 weeks with as well." Sylvester smiled back as the next boat pulled up to the dock and the next contestant departed from it.

The next contestant was a fair skinned Caucasian female with light blue eyes and blond hair that was shorter on top while being longer in the back. She had a slim build and stood at about 5 foot and 8 inches tall. She wore a pair of silver rimmed glasses along with a red two piece suit that had the jacket buttoned up, but a white dress shirt could briefly be seen beneath the buttoned up jacket. She completed the look with a pair of red loafers.

Her name was Sylvia Pratt, and she came from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She appeared to be in the middle of a phone call with someone. "Yeah, I just arrived at Prince Charles Island, so I'm unsure if I will be able to talk for much longer. Do you think you will be able to handle yourself in my absence, Penny?" Sylvia asked the person on the other end of the phone line before Sylvester snatched the phone from her hand and ended the call.

"Hey! I was in the middle of a phone call there!" Sylvia said in an annoyed tone voice as she glared at Sylvester and folded her arms in front of her chest.

"Sorry, Sylvia, but you know the rules: No contact with the outside world during your stay on the island. Now please join your fellow contestants and try and to enjoy what the island has to offer." Sylvester informed Sylvia, who reluctantly joined Zarian.

"Yo. Who were you calling back there?" Zarian asked Sylvia with a kind smile.

"Oh, my friend Penny, whom I manage for. She's setting up a video game company, and I handle the business aspect of the company while she handles the creative aspect." Sylvia explained to Zarian.

"Oh, so you a businesswoman, huh? I can dig it that. Think you can manage me and my football team in the future?" Zarian asked Sylvia with a smile.

"No, sorry. I manage for Penny's company only." Sylvia politely turned down Zarian's request, but the muscular brown skinned man didn't appear to mind, as he simply shrugged his shoulders in response and Sylvia stood next to him as the two of them awaited the next contestant to arrive.

The next boat then pulled up to the island as Vivian departed from it together with her luggage. "Yee-haw! What's shakin', people? Name's Vivian, and I'm ready t'have the adventure of a lifetime!" Vivian cheered as she walked up to Sylvester.

"Hey, Vivian. Great to have you here." Sylvester smiled as he shook Vivian's hand.

"The feelin's mutual, Sylvester! It's an honor t'meet ya! An' it's an honor t'meet the other contestants too!" Vivian replied with a grin as she returned Sylvester's handshake and she looked at the other contestants that had already arrived.

"Alright, cool. Go ahead and join them while I introduce the next contestant." Sylvester gestured to the other contestants.

"Will do, partner! Will do!" Vivian grinned once more and joined the other contestants. "Howdy, partners! How're y'all doin' on this fine day?" She asked Zarian and Sylvia in a friendly tone of voice.

"Pretty well, under the circumstances. I was in the middle of a phone call with my friend when the host nicked my phone and ended the call. But other than that, I'm doing well." Sylvia nodded.

"I'm doing fine myself, girl. Nice to meet ya." Zarian smiled and nodded. While Vivian was conversing with Zarian and Sylvia, the next boat pulled up to the island dock as the next contestant emerged from it.

The next contestant was a tan skinned overweight Asian male with a black combover haircut and black eyes standing at 5 foot and 11 inches tall. His outfit consisted of a long sleeved army green shirt and olive green cargo pants along with white Velcro shoes.

His name was Yuki Lerdwichagul, and he came from Seattle, Washington, USA. "Hey, Yuki!" Sylvester greeted Yuki as he high fived the overweight male.

"Yo, Sylvester Castle! It's an honor to meet you! I saw you host on that other reality show competition called Baking With Sylvester! You did a good job back there!" Yuki complimented the host's other reality show hosting endeavors.

"Oh, I saw that show! One of the contestants nearly burned down the kitchen durin' one of the dinner services, but they got immunity that week!" Vivian explained to the other contestants.

"Damn, how they survived elimination that time is beyond me." Zarian was impressed by Vivian's story before him, Sylvia and Vivian looked back at Yuki, who looked around.

"Hey, nice island too! I can't wait to own it if I end up winning this show!" Yuki smiled and made his way down the dock towards the rest of the contestants. The next boat then came by and dropped off the next contestant.

This contestant was a Caucasian female with shoulder length black hair, brown eyes and a slender build standing at 5 foot and 11 inches, just like Yuki. Her outfit consisted of a white dress shirt underneath a black suit jacket along with black suit pants and black leather boots.

Her name was Francine Bolton, and she came from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. "Yo, Francine." Sylvester greeted Francine as she walked over to him.

"Greetings, Mr. Castle. It is an honor to meet you and to be able to compete on your new show for the next 6 weeks. I look forward to seeing what this island has to offer." Francine told Sylvester with a kind smile as she shook the host's hand.

"Thanks, Francine! Glad you're so optimistic about your participation on this show!" Sylvester replied as he returned the handshake before allowing Francine to walk down the dock towards the other contestants.

"Greetings. I assume that you're the other contestants?" Francine asked the other contestants with a kind smile.

"Yeah, that's us." Zarian replied with a kind smile.

"Hey." Sylvia simply said.

"Darn tootin', girl! Nice to meet ya!" Vivian grinned and waved.

"Yeah, it's good to meet you." Yuki smiled and nodded in agreement.

"Thank you. The feeling is mutual." Francine agreed with a kind smile as she stood next to the other contestants while waiting for the next one to arrive. The next boat then proceeded to arrive as the next contestant was standing in the front.

This next contestant was a Caucasian male with shaggy and messy brown hair and pale green eyes and a bit of muscle. He was probably the tallest contestant so far, since he stood at 6 foot and 4 inches tall and wore a dirty white v-neck t-shirt underneath a dirty unzipped gray hoodie along with dirty gray sweatpants and torn black and white sneakers.

His name was Ian Walters, and he came from New York City, New York, USA. "Yo, Ian! What's up, dude?" Sylvester greeted Ian with a kind smile.

"Hey. Nice island you got here. I'm sure that once I win the deed to this place, me and my family will enjoy living out here, heh heh." Ian chuckled as he walked down the dock and Sylvester was confused about Ian's behavior, but shrugged it off and waited for the next contestant to arrive.

"See you at dinner, sweetheart." Ian told Vivian with a smirk.

"Ya make me wanna barf with that horrendous stench yer carryin' with ya." Vivian rolled her eyes at Ian's lack of hygiene.

"Thanks. I do try." Ian smirked some more as Vivian decided to ignore him for now. Meanwhile, the next boat arrived as it dropped off the next contestant.

Said contestant was Caucasian and had black hair tied together into a ponytail along with orange eyes and a beauty mark on the left side of her face as well as a muscular build. She was probably the shortest contestant so far, standing at 5 foot and 6 inches and wore a black t-shirt underneath an unzipped midnight blue hoodie along with midnight blue jeans and black steel toed boots.

This was Eva from Total Drama Island, and she had decided to make her return to reality show competitions after she had previously appeared as a contestant on Total Drama Island and a commentator on the Aftermath segments in Total Drama Action and Total Drama World Tour, even having a new outfit to go along with her return to reality show competitions. She still had a scowl plastered across her face though.

"Eva! Welcome to the island!" Sylvester greeted Eva as she walked down the dock with her luggage and stopped in front of the host.

Eva blinked for a moment before cracking a smile. "Hey. Hopefully you'll be more sane than that McLean guy I've had to put up with back on Total Drama." She told Sylvester.

"Take it from me, Eva: I'll always be more sane than McLean ever was!" Sylvester assured her.

Eva nodded. "Nice. That might make my stay on this show more bearable." She replied before walking down the dock towards the rest of the contestants.

"Well, slap me an' call me Sassafras! I can't believe I'm in the presence of a former Total Drama competitor! I was a huge fan of the show fer years!" Vivian beamed at Eva.

"Yeah, I saw you compete on Total Drama Island. You did a good job back there." Yuki agreed with a smile.

"Thanks, guys. Glad you think I did well back there." Eva smiled more.

"Ya definitely seem a lot tamer compared to yer time on Total Drama Island." Vivian noticed as she looked at Eva.

"Yeah, after my time on Total Drama, I took some more anger management classes to help me control my temper, and I've grown to be a lot more gentle compared to how I was on Total Drama. Hopefully now I'll be able to last longer in the competition compared to my time on Total Drama." Eva nodded as the group turned to look at the next contestant arriving at the island.

From the boat, two male contestants emerged. The first male was Caucasian and had short shaven brown hair, light green eyes and a muscular build who stood at 6 foot and 2 inches. His outfit was a stonewashed blue denim jacket over a white t-shirt, torn stonewashed blue jeans, black fingerless gloves and black motorcycle boots.

His name was Patrick O'Niall, and he came from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Next to him stood another Caucasian male with black hair in a neat combover and pale green eyes along with a thin build and a black spruce mustache. Like Patrick, he was 6 foot and 2 inches tall and wore a white dress shirt underneath a black sweater vest with black dress pants and black dress shoes.

His name was Lemmy O'Niall, and he was Patrick's younger brother. He too came from Belfast, Northern Ireland. "I hope you're ready for a two of a kind deal! It's double trouble with brothers Patrick and Lemmy!" Sylvester told the contestants.

"'Ello, everyone! Name's Patrick, and this is my brother Lemmy!" Patrick grinned and waved at the contestants while pulling Lemmy close to him, having an arm around him. Patrick spoke in a thick Irish accent.

"Holy cow! I know ya! Yer one of the guitarists and singers fer The Irish Mob!" Vivian beamed with excitement.

"Yeah, I know you too. I love your band's music, so I'm honored to be competing alongside you for the next 6 weeks too." Eva grinned.

Patrick chuckled. "Thanks, lassies! But don't forget 'bout my brother Lemmy here! He deserves just as much attention as I do!" He replied as he continued to hug his brother before letting go of him.

Lemmy dusted himself off and straightened himself before clearing his throat. "Yes, thank you for the introduction, big brother." He spoke in an equally thick Irish accent. "Greetings and salutations, fellow competitors. As my brother Patrick just said, my name is Lemmy, and I look forward to competing alongside the rest of you in the weeks that are to come." He informed the other contestants with a gentleman like smile.

"Well, Lemmy is certainly a lot more well mannered compared to his brother." Sylvia remarked.

"Indeed he is. A lot more elegant too." Francine nodded her agreement.

"They both seem like cool guys. Can't wait to hang out with 'em over the course of the next 6 weeks." Zarian smiled.

"Alright, boys. Please join the other contestants so we can move on to the next one." Sylvester informed Patrick and Lemmy, who did as they were told and waited for the next contestant to arrive.

The next contestant to arrive was a Caucasian female with long and wavy brown hair, pale green eyes and a thin build with a C-cup breast size who stood at 5 foot and 8 inches. Her outfit consisted of a white t-shirt underneath a dark blue fleece jacket with stonewashed black jeans, white sports shoes, a pair of black headphones around her neck and a white Adidas cap on her head.

This was Kimberly Grimes, and she came from Chicago, Illinois, USA. "Hi, guys! I'm Kimberly Grimes, and you might know me from my video game livestreams on YouTube!" The girl smiled and waved at the other contestants as she walked up to them. Crickets chirped as the contestants blankly stared at her. Apparently none of the other contestants had heard of her, not even Vivian.

Kimberly blinked for a moment as she didn't receive much of a reaction to her revealing who she was. "Well, I'm sure we'll get along all the same!" She then continued with an optimistic smile.

Sylvester smiled and gave Kimberly a pat on the back. "That's the spirit, Kimberly! Go ahead and join the other contestants! We've got half of them introduced, so it's time to introduce the second half of them!" The brown haired host announced as Kimberly went and joined the other contestants.

We'll be introducing the next 10 contestants in the next chapter! Stay tuned for more of this story! :D – Alexneushoorn
