AN: Never forget that this is a multi crossover (big-ish) also long chapter. It wasn't supposed to be this big,but things got a bit out of hand.

Chapter 5

Gaara was more than surprised when the Hokage requested an emergency meeting with him. He was also surprised when the leader of the Land of Spring showed up along with the leader of Amegakure. He'd never met or heard of Konan nor had he met Princess Koyuki in person, but the latter seemed like a good, competent leader. Then there was the fact that the Rokudaime Hokage had called the meeting. He had heard of Konoha being attacked, but nothing about a new Hokage. They had been keeping a very tight lid on it for sure.

Now, he was in a meeting room with the two leaders. His siblings were his guards while Koyuki was guarded by Konoha ninja, and Konan was guarded by her village's shinobi. This was an interesting meet up for sure.

"I'll be honest, Konoha looks good despite the attack, I heard that half the village was destroyed." Kankuro said. "Things look relatively peaceful."

"Konoha tends to bounce back rather quickly." Konan said. "And, the Rokudaime is very keen on bringing the village into a golden age."

"Whoever this new Hokage is their shooting pretty high." The puppet master responded.

"I think it's a reasonable goal."

The already cracked open door opened, and Naruto stepped inside. He donned his robe to make it clear that this wasn't some joke. Gaara was surprised by the sight, but mostly he was happy to see that the blonde had achieved his goal.

"It's been way too long, Gaara." He said. "You have no idea how much I wanted to tell you, but the situation with Akatsuki is really complicated."

"I'm happy to see you as well my friend." Gaara said. "I had no doubt that you'd eventually become Hokage, I'm happy for you."

"Thank you, and I wish this meeting was under better circumstances." He said before looking at Konan and Koyuki. "Believe me when I say that the situation we will face in five days will be a game changer for everyone."

Motioning to the chairs, he and the other leaders sat down. Steeling his nerves he proceeded to explain why he called them, and the threat they faced. It was scary no doubt, but they had questions.

"Hokage-san, I have no reason to doubt you as you've never been dishonest or deceitful in any way towards my land." Koyuki said. "However, this seems like something all the villages should be involved in." – "Even if they don't believe you, they should at least be given a warning."

"It's not that simple, not when I've made sure to keep my ascension a secret, that alone would cause them to seriously doubt my warning." He said. "Not to mention the last thing I want is to cause fighting over the spoils, advanced technology is a serious advantage that could tip the very delicate balance we currently have."

"Even so you asked us for assistance." Gaara said. "I don't doubt you either, but are the combined forces going to be enough?"

Gaara truly didn't doubt Naruto's warnings, but this wasn't exactly a normal situation.

"Yes, especially since we're going to be ready for them days before they get here." He answered. "They're coming here first, I have no doubt about that, but I've had our ITD Department work on something that'll benefit everyone in the future."

"And what exactly is that?"

"A particle barrier, it's a massive force field that'll cover the village, and protect it from attacks." He explained. 'An unfinished invention from the Uzumaki archives, but I was able to fill in the blanks.'

He'd truly learned a lot by reading the archive.

"They won't get past the barrier before we wipe them out." He said. "As I told my council, we either win or we die there's no middle ground." – "With the amount of hostility I felt from them, I have no doubt that they're coming to conquer and then exterminate."

His gaze went to the sky as did the trio of leaders. A fight was coming, and they didn't have time to argue. They would defeat this enemy by any means necessary.

5 Days Later – Land of Fire

"I'm completely against you going into battle!" Sakura exclaimed. "The village can't afford to lose another Hokage, and there's no telling how strong these invaders will be."

"I'm aware of that, but we need to win this no matter what." Naruto stated. "Besides, there's something I need to do."

That's how the argument with Sakura went. Sure, she didn't approve of the original being on the battlefield, but there was a good reason. Specifically, him, clone 1367. His job was to make first contact, get a good look at the enemy and their weaponry, and report back. His job was simple and starting very soon.

In the sky the metal vessel was flying to the ground. As it got closer and closer it slowed until it was able to land. It was much larger up close, and way more intimidating. No doubt the entire village was able to see it.

"So many life signatures, and they're all full of so much hostility." The clone said.

For a few minutes nothing happened, but then the bottom opened and six of them came out. Four arms with three fingers on each hand, two legs, and four eyes. They were insect-like in stature, but they wore armor and one wore a cape. Then there were the objects they held.

'Weapons?'

They were aiming said weapons around as they looked around. The weapons reminded him of Nagato's chakra cannon. Different in appearance, but they definitely shot out projectiles. That much he was sure of.

His suspicions were proven correct when the largest of the group shot up in the air. It was a rapid-fire weapon, that explained the length at least.

"The settlement we saw is guarded by a barrier." The largest one said.

'They're speaking our language?!' the clone silently exclaimed in shock. 'How?'

"Prepare for a full assault, we'll wipe them out first before attacking the rest." – "This planet is rich with resources and should last us for years to come."

There it was.

"Huh, I was right about your intentions." The clone said.

Stepping out of cover, he revealed himself to the invaders. They aimed at him immediately, and then opened fire. The clone was quick to dodge by jumping into the trees, and then circling around them. The projectiles were made of energy and were very fast. The weapons were rapid fire, but one of them spread projectiles with immense force.

'Distance is important, but if I get close.'

The clone readied his kunai and dashed at the largest alien. It was close, but he managed to shove the weapon into the leader's throat. The clone proceeded to disappear; this sent his experience back to Naruto.

The blonde Hokage stood up, and looked to the forces he was leading. There were 60 in total, all lying in wait for his signal.

"Alright everyone, here's what I now know."

Naruto proceeded to explain what his clone had experienced. The weapons were a definite threat, but there was no telling what else they had. Using Sage Mode, he could already sense more of them coming out.

"Move fast, get in close if you can, support each other, and do not let any of them flee." He ordered. "Unleash jutsu when it's safe to do so, but don't charge inside; that's my job."

He looked at Kakashi, and Sakura. They would follow him inside, taking control of the metal vessel was important along with annihilating any forces inside. Without completely destroying the vessel. They needed to know more about their enemies among other things.

They split up with Naruto assigning team leaders. Through the forest he led 10 shinobi towards the enemy.

'You might have to use that jutsu you developed.' the fox said. 'It might be easier to just use my chakra.'

'Or sage mode.' he retorted. 'If I want complete annihilation then I'll use your chakra.' – 'A last resort if we're to retreat.'

Retreat was an option, but not one he wanted to implement. If needed he would resort to the fox's chakra, and wipe out the enemy and their tech.

They got closer and closer. Naruto felt his heartbeat speed up, and adrenaline pumped through his entire body. His eyes narrowed, now he could sense exactly how many there were.

"73, all armed, get ready."

The shinobi prepped their respective jutsu. Naruto jumped into the air, and they followed.

"Wind Style: Gale Fox!"

From his hands came a massive gust of wind shaped like the head of a fox. It flew down, hitting a cluster of foes like a train. What came next was a barrage of fire jutsu.

"We're under attack, all forces shoo–"

A blade severed the invader's head from his shoulders. It now occurred to them they were about to be surrounded. But, it was too late. Shinobi rushed them from all sides, with some staying back to support using ranged attacks.

The battle was bloody.

Bodies fell to the ground almost every minute, each one gruesome. The invaders were skilled, but the surprise attack was damning. Despite this, shinobi were dying as well.

"Wind Style: Gale Blade!"

Naruto conjured a blade made of wind, and with a single swing he cut down 6 aliens. Their bodies falling to the ground in bloody chunks.

"They've got barriers protecting them, but they aren't strong enough!"

Picking up his enemy's gun, he copied what he saw, and proceeded to open fire. There was a recoil, but nothing he couldn't handle. Some of those using kunai and shuriken then copied the Hokage. Now the invaders were being completely overwhelmed. More came out, but they were killed when Naruto rushed inside with Kakashi, and Sakura following.

The inside of the ship was amazing. So many lights, buttons, and consoles they didn't recognize. Some of this they couldn't fathom, at least not yet. The sounds of fighting filled the ship as the trio carved a bloody path through the ship.

"Everyone alright?"

"Just a scratch." Sakura said as she healed to cut on her arm. "One grazed me."

"I'm good." Kakashi said.

"That's a relief." Naruto said. "Now then."

Using his sensor skills, he was able to sense nobody.

"They're all dead." He spoke. "We killed everyone."

Naruto looked to the large window that showed the battle outside. The invading force was dead along with many Shinobi, but they'd won. This was a great victory.

"2655 A.S (After Sage), May 16th, 10:22PM." Naruto said.

"What?"

"Today's date, and time of victory." he responded. "I want this day and this battle recorded, this is our first contact, our first battle, and our first victory."

"This is going to be part of your legacy." Sakura stated. "All of this."

Naruto walks up to the glass. The blonde let out a sigh, he'd never thought about his legacy. It never mattered to him, and honestly he still wasn't thinking about it. Well not yet anyway. This was for later, but for now he would focus on the present.

1 Week Later – Konoha

The Daimyo was confused, the smaller village leaders were confused, everyone was confused. There was now a giant metal thing being heavily guarded by a mix of Konoha, Ame, and Land of Spring shinobi. They had a barrier up, there were tents all around it, and very few people were allowed inside. This eclipsed the fact that Danzo had been mysteriously killed during the battle. Nobody cares about the latter.

Naruto was currently eating at his favorite ramen stand since it was the only one in Konoha. Plus he was very loyal.

"Still can't believe those were aliens, aliens of all things!" Tenchui said. "Didn't think I'd live to see this day."

"The world is getting stranger and stranger, wouldn't you agree, Hokage-sama?" Ayane asked.

"Don't call me that, also yes things are getting stranger." Naruto said. "For instance, I'd like to know why you guys are bothering me while I'm eating."

He was of course referring to the three Kumo shinobi, to his right. He wasn't sure what they wanted.

"My name is Samui, and we're here to deliver a message to the Hokage, and Tsunade Senju told us that it was you." she said. "Naruto Uzumaki."

"That is correct, so what's the message?"

He finished his meal and then paid for it. The kunoichi with brown skin and red hair seemed annoyed for some reason. He couldn't fathom why though.

"The Raikage is calling for a kage summit in the Land of Iron." Sarui said. "The meeting is in 5 Days."

"A Kage summit." Naruto couldn't help but groan. "That sounds so troublesome."

"It is, but the Raikage was very insistent that we tell you in person." She spoke.

"And, just when I was starting to relax."

The blonde stood up and stretched out a bit. He had accumulated a decent amount of stress because of everything that had happened. Now he had to deal with this. The Hokage's job was never done.

"I appreciate you coming all the way here to deliver the message, thank you." He said. "I imagine you must've had a hard time getting even close to the village."

"Your security teams aren't exactly welcoming." Karui said.

"Well, considering recent events, it's to be expected." He spoke. "A lot of people died."

The kumo shinobi didn't know how many people died or who the combined Shinobi forces were fighting. Only that there was a battle, and that giant metal thing had something to do with it. Something big was going to happen, something that would affect everyone.

3 Days Later – Road to the Land of Iron

Protect the Hokage at all costs, even at the cost of your life. Shikamaru and Kakashi understood this perfectly. They were an odd combination, but the young Hokage picked them for a reason.

The trio were close to the Land of Iron's border, and things were oddly quiet. Naruto was oddly calm, but he had his guard up. The way he carried himself was different, sometimes it was as if he was a completely different person, but other times he acted like his normal self. Shikamaru knew that Naruto had Danzo killed because of the threat the man posed. A brutal yet logical act.

"Kakashi, Shikamaru, what do either of you know about the other kage?" Naruto asked.

"From what I've been told, the Tsuchikage is old fashioned which makes sense considering he's as old as the Third, I know the Mizukage is a woman but that's all, and the Raikage is apparently too aggressive and brash for his own good." Kakashi said.

"I'd like to suggest using that mask Sakura gave you to cover your face." Shikamaru said. "The Fourth is infamous in Kumo and Iwa because of the war, and it won't take them long to realize your connection to him." – "I doubt they would try anything, but better safe than sorry."

Naruto begrudgingly agreed with his friend and put on the mask that Sakura had made. A fox mask with cherry blossom designs on the edges. It was beautiful, and he really didn't want anything to happen to it. But this was its intended use.

2 Days Later – Land of Iron – Kage Summit Building

They were here, the other kage were here with their respective bodyguards. But it was the Raikage who stood out. His right arm was missing, and he had scars along his face and chest.

Naruto had noticed rather quickly how the Raikage, Tsuchikage, and Mizukage took immediate notice of him. The fact that he was wearing a mask made him look suspicious. Two of them were expecting Tsunade Senju. Add to the fact that Gaara greeted him with such a friendly demeanor. They had good reason to be suspicious, and Naruto was suspicious of them as well.

When the five kage were called into the meeting room, they sat down at a circular table. Each flanked by their bodyguards.

"Five Kage, let us commence the meeting." Mifune said.

In unison they took off their hats and set them onto the table. Naruto didn't remove his mask though. His blonde hair stood out enough. Of course, it annoyed the Raikage when Mifune said nothing about it.

The Mizukage, Mei Terumi was slender woman with fair skin. Her eyes are green. She has ankle length auburn hair styled into a herringbone pattern at the back, a topknot tied with a dark blue band, and with four bangs at the front. Two bangs are short, with one covering her right eye, and two are long, crossing each other on her bust, just below her chin.

The Tsuchikage was a short old man that was mostly bald, with a rather prominent nose.

"Raikage, you called the meeting so you can start." The samurai said.

"Good, now let's get down to business." A stood up. "That thing that landed in Konoha, the metal vessel as the Hokage is calling it, held forces beyond this world."

Either someone couldn't keep their mouth shut or security was slacking. Naruto would deal with it when he got back.

"Forces that Konoha, Suna, and the Land of Spring were all too prepared for!" He exclaimed. "Such a threat wasn't just kept from the rest of the villages, but they also hoard the information gathered."

"Must be why this new Hokage wears a mask, to hide his guilt." Onoki taunted. "A mask is only used to–"

"How I deal with direct threats to my village, and the Land of Fire as a whole is my business." Naruto said. "Konoha does not need permission to defend itself nor are we obligated to share information with those who've been subtly hostile to us."

"Maybe, but you did drag Suna and the Land of Spring into the fight." The old Kage said. "A fight you were afraid you wouldn't win."

"Victory was guaranteed." Gaara said. "Shinobi died as expected, but their sacrifice saved an entire village." – "Suna wasn't dragged into the fight, the Hokage made good points that prompted us to act."

There was clear trust between them. A and Onoki hadn't expected this, and thankfully they didn't know about Ame's assistance.

"What would it take for you to divulge information about the foe you faced?" Mei asked. "Surely you're willing to give us that?"

Information was power, and Konoha had a lot of it. Suna did as well, and Mei wanted to take a less loud approach.

"By translating their language we've learned that they call themselves, Eliksni." Naruto said. "What we faced was one of many scattered houses that are out there, this specifically was a group of pirates." – "They came across our world by complete accident."

"You translated their language so quickly?"

"Yes." Naruto said with a hint of satisfaction. "One thing to note is that most houses, and groups are hostile to basically everything including each other."

"Are we in any danger of being caught up in their war?"

Naruto shook his head.

"They got here by complete accident, a one in a million chance that won't happen again." He said. 'I still can't believe one opened randomly like that.'

The blonde sighed.

"I'm sure you've figured out that they're from another world, and that proves the existence of intelligent life out there." He said. "The real question here is what happens now."

"Konoha seems to know the most about this kind of thing, so how about we let them take the–"

The Raikage smashed his part of the table in anger. This prompted every bodyguard to move to protect their respective Kage.

"Mizukage, don't finish that sentence!" A exclaimed. "Letting them take the lead when they're clearly withholding information is beyond foolish."

"Especially with a Kage who wears a mask." Onoki said.

"Good point old timer." Naruto said before removing his mask. "Honestly it's hard to trust a village who tried to kidnap my mother."

"That face, it looks like the Fourth managed to have a child." Onoki said.

Naruto looked at the Raikage with a smile.

"Last of the Uzumaki clan."

"I see, you're that woman's child, that explains the mask." A said before sitting down.

"Yes, she did." Naruto smiled. 'Honestly, if I was a vengeful person, I would've killed his messengers, and then sent their corpses back as a message.' – 'Wait, where did that come from?'

'He's certainly Minato's son for sure.' Mei said as she eyed the young hokage. 'Shame he turned me down; would it be weird if I went after his son?'

While not desperate to get married, she was still looking for a man. That's when an idea popped into her mind. One that nobody had considered, and if she played her cards right then Mist might share in the technological advancement that Konoha would most certainly bring.

What could possibly go wrong?
