Chapter 4: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon:
Mu Laohu's POV:
We were going through the jungle. My kind of place. I was ahead of the others, but then I saw Long was tangled in some vines.
"Are you okay," I asked.
"I should've just flown over the trees," says Long.
"Don't worry," I said, "Kitty's got claws!" I then cut the vines.
"Those claws are helpful," says Long.
"That's not all they're good for," I said, "so, back to the race?"
"Lady's first," says Long.
We then got back to the race.
Shu's POV:
"Did you see that," asks Mao, "how am I going to compete with a dragon?"
"We're racing against him and now you're asking that," I joked, "relax, you're a cat and she's a cat. That guy's a big lizard! You got this!"
Mu Laohu's POV:
We got back to the race. I was staring at a big hole. Long then carries me over the hole. "That's the second time you did that," I said.
"That dog knew what he was talking about," says Long, "besides, I owed you one."
I then had my paw on his belly. "So that's what scales feel like," I said.
"You have beautiful eyes," says Long.
"It would be nice if we could be in the zodiac together, wouldn't it," I asked.
"Are you trying to distract me so you can win," asks Long.
"I don't know," I asked, "am I?"
"Well... it certainly would work," says Long, "I think the others are coming."
"Too bad, I was starting to enjoy this," I said.
"Me too," says Long.
We then got back to the race.
