The next day Dipper was at his locker, getting his things ready for science class, when Peter attempted to pants him again. But this time Dipper jumped out of the way. "Oh no, I know exactly what you are trying to do" said Dipper. "You're trying to provoke my sister, so she'll attack you and get in trouble again." "You aren't really going to pants me again, you're just bluffing." "You know full well for a fact, that another stunt like that is going to get you expelled." As Dipper began to walk away, he felt something strike his right arm hard, and passed out.
When he woke up, he found himself in a hospital bed, with his arm in a cast. "Oh you gotta be kidding me" he said out loud. "Dear God, please tell me Mabel didn't attack him again." The person he was just talking about, then walked into the room. "I overheard you on the other side of the door, and don't worry, I didn't take action against him" said Mabel. "We don't have to put up with him anymore, the school expelled him." "Oh thank God, I thought for sure a police officer was going to walk in and tell me you were taken to juvie" said Dipper. "Considering how Peter absolutely hates us, he may have been the one that started the fire" said Mabel. "He left his locker open, there were matches in there." "First of all, that's not enough evidence to go off of" said Dipper. "Second of all, I already told you, i'm done dipping my nose in things that adults should be handling." "Do I seriously have to solve this by myself?" asked Mabel. "Jesus Christ, I was not a good role model for you during the summer" said Dipper. "Where is your sense of adventure?" asked Mabel. Dipper was about to answer, but then quickly realized that what he had to say was embarrassing, so he closed his mouth. "You're keeping something from me" said Mabel. "Mabel, I don't want to talk about it, please leave me alone" said Dipper. "I've been with you since birth, you can trust me" said Mabel. "Absolutely not, I am not required to tell anyone" said Dipper.
That evening as the family was sitting down to have dinner, nobody said anything, until Alex broke the silence. "Son, ever since you two came back after last summer, you've been acting very nervous." "Whenever someone tries to calmly talk to you about it, you look embarrassed, and tell them to mind their own business." "Dad, i'm not telling anyone" said Dipper. "It's my secret, and i'm not required to let anyone know." "Dude, I have been with you since birth, I won't tell anyone" said Mabel. "If one person finds out, everyone will find out" said Dipper. Feeling annoyed with his family, Dipper just went off to bed.
Authors note: I know it may seem as though Dipper is out of character, but trust me. His secret will eventually be revealed, and his attitude will be justified.
It's actually quite ludicrous that only now, Dipper has to go to the hospital. There are several scenes in the canon show of characters taking nasty hits, and I am screaming inside my head. My mind is internally shouting, HOW THE HELL IS AN AMBULANCE NOT NEEDED?!
