•Prologue•
He tried to look at the person who was beside him.
It was blurry. He could hardly see anything.
Sukuna had cut him in half. He should've been dead. Or was he still not dead? Was Shoko still treating him? He couldn't quite feel his limbs. He was Satoru Gojo, one of the best ones when it came to Reversed Cursed Technique Healing. But it was all over. He was dying.
He always thought that he was the strongest. but it might not be true. true, Sukuna had Mahoraga with him, but still…
He mentally sighed. He hopes his comrades can defeat the King of Curses. He has much faith in them, especially Yuta, Yuj, Hakari and… Naruto.
Naruto surpassed everyone, both Sukuna and Satoru in terms of raw strength and skills. In just a few months, he could maintain Infinity better than Satoru. He had a list of techniques. Rasengan, clones, henge, elemental manipulation and so on. He was faster, stronger and smarter than all the students he had taught. The boy even mastered Black Flash. He had the perfect and the most versatile Domain Expansion in history— Infinite Tsukuyomi. It was crazy! The boy was only six…
Satoru knows that they can defeat him. They can stop everything Kenjaku had started. With those against him, Sukuna ought to be defeated.
Ahh… he wanted to congratulate them for their victory. He wanted to celebrate with them. He wished to see Megumi…
He felt a bead of tear coming down from his eyes.
What an irony… Satoru Gojo, the so-called strongest sorcerer of the modern era, was crying.
"There, there," someone told him, a female voice.
'Is she making fun of me?' He mentally laughed at that.
"Don't cry, baby," She said again. "Mama is here."
If he could move, he might have tried to punch her in her face. Really, who makes fun of a dying man?
'Lady, whoever you are, please go and tease someone else. Let me die in peace at least.'
"There, there,"
"Ma'am," he heard another female voice, possibly younger than the first one. "It is time for you to rest. You have been awake for quite some time now."
"Okay, I guess." The woman said. "But please take care of him."
"Of course."
Time for her to rest? Is she injured too? Damn that Sukuna! …or Kenjaku.
Many people were already dead because of them. Thousands were killed by Sukuna, Kenjaku's Culling Games alone caused millions to die. Countless people were homeless.
And here he was, Satoru Gojo, the self proclaimed strongest sorcerer, lying in who knows where, dying with who knows whom.
He felt pathetic.
He tried to move, but failed. He tried to look around, but failed doing that too. His vision was getting more and more blurry. His hearing sense was getting weaker.
The surprising thing was— he didn't feel cold. He felt warm. It was a nice feeling. He was going to heaven? God was pleased with him? Good. At least he could meet everyone there sooner or later once he reached there.
'So this is the end?' He thought. 'The end of not-so-honored-one. I was born alone, now I am dying alone. I think it's time I officially announce: Throughout the heavens and Earth, I alone, am not the honored one.'
He soon drifted into darkness.
The dark-green-haired woman fondly kissed her newborn's forehead. Ever since the dawn of quirks, people were more and more getting used to superpowers. Odd and unique looks were not quite unique and odd anymore.
However, one thing is certain.
Her child is unique, even among unique.
He was beautiful, radiating a calm and gentle aura. His breathing was even, rhythmic and felt like a melodies song.
He had her face. He had green hair too, just like her. He also had freckles on each of his cheeks. He was adorable. He looked nothing like Hiashi, his father. She smiled at the baby. But when he opened his eyes, she halted her respiration in awe.
The big orbs that stared at her were not like hers.
They were not green. They were jade.
They were not dull, they were shining.
She wanted to name him Izuku. But for some reason, it didn't feel right.
Her mouth automatically generated a word, "Satori."
She was surprised by that. 'Enlightenment?' She questioned herself before smiling.
"Welcome to the world of superheroes, Satori Midoriya." She caressed him. "I know you are destined for great things."
The child stared at her for a moment before yawing.
'How adorable!'
Inko Midoriya didn't know. She didn't know it. She had no idea how this single moment changed the potential history…
This is the story of Satori Midoriya.
An Honored One.
