INT. LIVING ROOM - PICKLES' HOUSE - DAY

(Drew Pickles is sitting with Charlotte, deep in thought. He looks both nervous and excited. Charlotte notices his contemplative expression.)

CHARLOTTE

(concerned)

Drew, what's on your mind?

DREW

(smiling nervously)

I've been thinking a lot lately, Charlotte. About something significant.

CHARLOTTE

(curious)

Well, don't keep me in suspense. What's going on?

(Drew takes a deep breath before speaking.)

DREW

I've been feeling a calling, Charlotte. A calling to become an Episcopalian clergyman.

(Charlotte's eyes widen in surprise.)

CHARLOTTE

(stunned)

A clergyman? Drew, that's a big decision. What brought this on?

DREW

(earnestly)

I've been reflecting on our faith and the impact it has on our lives. I feel a strong desire to serve the community, guide others in their faith, and be a positive influence.

CHARLOTTE

(supportive)

That's a noble calling, Drew. But it's a significant commitment. Have you talked to anyone about this?

DREW

(nodding)

I've spoken to Reverend Thompson at our church. He believes I have the qualities needed for the clergy, and he suggested I explore it further.

CHARLOTTE

(smiling)

Well, if it's what you truly want, I'll support you, Drew. But it's a big step.

DREW

(grateful)

Thank you, Charlotte. I want to explore this further, maybe even discuss it with the church committee.

INT. CHURCH OFFICE - DAY

(Drew sits across from Reverend Thompson and a Church Committee Member.)

REVEREND THOMPSON

(smiling)

Drew, we appreciate your dedication to our church community. Tell us more about why you feel called to become a clergyman.

DREW

(openly)

I've found great fulfillment in our faith, and I want to share that with others. I want to guide and support the congregation, helping them on their spiritual journey.

CHURCH COMMITTEE MEMBER

(nodding)

It's a big commitment, Drew, but your passion is evident. We'll discuss this further and get back to you.

INT. LIVING ROOM - PICKLES' HOUSE - LATER

(Drew and Charlotte anxiously await the committee's decision.)

CHARLOTTE

(smiling)

Whatever happens, Drew, I'm proud of you for pursuing your calling.

(Drew nods, appreciating Charlotte's support.)

INT. CHURCH OFFICE - DAY

(The committee member returns with a smile.)

CHURCH COMMITTEE MEMBER

(congratulating)

Drew, after careful consideration, we believe you have the potential to serve our congregation. Welcome to the journey of becoming an Episcopalian clergyman.

(Drew's face lights up with gratitude.)

FADE OUT.
