Leonardo carefully puts his sword down, then stands.

"Taylor, I owe you an apology. I should not have taken you from the flat against your will." He bows low at the waist. "I'm sorry."

Taylor waits until he straightens before speaking. From the look in his eyes, he really does mean that apology. "Thanks. I get that you don't want me getting hurt by the Dragons and maybe staying in the flat wasn't going to be safe...but I wish you'd asked if it was OK first."

"If something like this ever comes up again, I will. And...if you want to book a hotel or find somewhere else to stay, we'll take you there."

What? "You'd do that?"

"Yes. If you do decide to stay here, you'll be most welcome. But no matter which one you choose, we will never ever harm you."

Taylor thinks for a moment. Does she want to go anywhere else, or would that just be running away?

She looks right up into Leonardo's face. "I'd like to stay. If you'll have me."

He smiles. "Thanks, Taylor."

"You're welcome, Leo."

The others are in front of the TV, watching a late-night film. Mikey moves aside to make room for Taylor, and when Raph inadvertently catches her eye, she gives him a small smile.

It's a small start, but it is a start.
