During the early morning hours, aboard the Galaxy King, several members were attempting to have fitful slumbers, as Mark entered an empty room.

"Alright, just recite the spell Siege gave me…" Mark said as he whispered the spell, causing a seeing portal to open up.

"Hm?" A voice called from the other end as FS!Siege was not the one to greet Mark, but someone else, a man with glowing eyes and dark hair as his eyes widened. "Mark Anarchy? This is an… unprecedented contact." The voice spoke, sounding much like Liu Kang. In fact, it was. It was the Future Seekers' Lord Liu Kang, the same one who reformed the timeline of the entirety of Mortal Kombat. "May I ask what is the precedence of this call?"

"Oh, hello there." Mark said. "Sorry, I just used a spell Siege gave me to contact people in his side. Hope I'm not disturbing you."

It was at this moment Liu Kang nodded as he smiled, a hint of solemnity behind it. "No trouble at all. Siege must have given you this spell to keep handy between our realms. Unfortunately, if you're looking to speak with him, I am afraid to tell you that right now, it's not possible." Liu Kang explained.

"Oh, I see. Mission?" Mark asked.

"...Worse. Incapacitation. To a near-death degree." Liu Kang stated seriously. "I'm guessing you're wondering how. Allow me to say it's partially my fault, but for the timeline's sake, it needed to occur. In short, a well placed trap was laid in the normal workings of the timeline by our enemies. To prevent it, Siege sacrificed himself to forge a new timeline. Luckily, we returned him here to put him in, what should we call it, a form of stasis. Until we gather the needed materials to finish stabilizing him, he won't be in action for quite some time." Liu Kang explained.

"Really? Does every team leader in this reality have a hero complex?" Mark asked himself, before he shook it off. "Well, sounds like you have things under control. Anyways, the alliance had a…rough night, and I just had to get it off my chest, maybe get some advice."

"I see that you need some of that relief. Let me help you in that relief by telling you we are still functioning. Our Rimuru Tempest has assumed the position of leader for the time being, and is currently busy elsewhere helping the Unmei Force. …By the Elder Gods… what sort of timeline are you in!?" Liu Kang exclaimed, having tracked Mark's location and noticed the looping timeline. "Never in my years have I witnessed a timeline that forms… an infinite loop." Liu Kang remarked in awe.

"Well…hold on to your divine socks, cause this is a doozy…" Mark said.

And so, Mark explained the situation. The situation in Akira's world, the deal with Ryo Auska, the events of the Sabbath, and their plan to put and end to the loop and get J-Hack qualified to be a Demon Lord.

"I see…" Liu Kang nodded in understanding. "It seems like this is a dire time. If this timeline loops again, while you're in it, you have no hope to escape. I, however, know of a way to provide you a safety net, if you choose to accept it." Liu Kang stated.

"We might not need it…but lay it on me anyway." Mark requested.

"As you know, we cannot spare much of our forces. Most of them must remain here to keep Siege protected from any dangers that threaten to attack him unguarded. However, I happen to know of two individuals I can spare to send to your aid. One of them so happens to be a Time Patroller under our Chronoa, and can likely be supplied a means to reverse time by any amount you desire. I would wager the other one I have in mind could as well, even if the use of it is more, its range, however, is much less. Or, if you choose for us to remain outside, I can send you a leyline containing a one use time rewind. You can use it to undo an event that could spell your disaster. And, in case it's too late, it will automatically go off if it is in danger of being erased. The choice, therefore, is in your hands, Mark. Some extra help? Or just a distant safety net." Liu Kang offered as he waited expectantly for an answer.

"Hmm…" Mark thought over the offer. "I'll keep the extra help in mind. If you could email me their information…actually, do you know how to use email?"

"I know how to do better than email, Anarchy." Liu Kang laughed as suddenly, puffs of divine energy appeared next to Mark, as two insignias with the Mortal Kombat Dragon appeared as well as parchments underneath with the full bios of both potential helpers. "Instant contact beacons, and the information on both of them. I can also send you the leyline, in case you simply wish to choose the latter half of my offer." Liu Kang stated. "If you wish, you can look at them now, and I'll answer any questions you have about them."

"Thanks, I appreciate that." Mark said, looking at the parchments "Hmm… Eirika and Lumera, huh?"

"Indeed. Eirika, the former princess of Renais. I say the former, due to the events of one of Fu's experiments. It destroyed everything she loved, everything she had worked hard for. Even to this day she seeks vengeance, but thankfully, her kindness for her allies still remains. Chronoa supervised her training personally, even Trunks has a hard time keeping up with her." Liu Kang nodded. "And I'm sure you need no explanation on who Lumera is?"

"No need. Alear's mom, the one who was supposed to die, but got saved." Mark recalled. "Hard to believe she's able to go into the field, but…well, she's done it in the past. Makes sense she could do it even now."

"Indeed. Seeing your options for help now, what shall you choose, Anarchy?" Liu Kang would ask.

"Hmm…tell Eirika and Lumera to be on standby." Mark asked. "I just have this gut feeling that we might need them."

"I shall do so. Will you require my personal leyline then?" Liu Kang would ask.

"Hmm…I don't think so…but I'll keep the option in mind, just in case." Mark said. "You never know with worlds like this one."

"Very well. If that is all, I shall leave you to your duties then. And may the timeline not reset on you all… with dire consequences." Liu Kang wished upon Mark, before the two ended the call with those final thoughts, allowing Mark to get some form of sleep.

The next day, several members walked to school with Akira (Mei, Miu, and Peni having gone with the usual routine of creating transfer identities for them).

"And there he is, walking like a cool customer." Odd said.

"Seems he's already back in the groove of things." Arven said.

"He's been through this over 600 times. The memories themselves might be gone, but muscle memory probably went on autopilot after the first fifty. It makes sense he could slip back in." Shirou pointed out.

"It probably is a good idea to keep a close eye on him so he doesn't lose himself." Izuku said.

"I'll say." Mineta said, hiding in the bushes as he watched the girls running on the track.

"How is this…thing…even still alive?" Carmine asked.

"Honestly, we're not sure either." Ulrich said.

"So this is a real hero mission. So amazing." Nemona said.

"School infiltrations are just part. We've done it a few times before." Hope said.

"Yeah. We have." Pit said grumpily. "You hunted me down and taped my wings down again…"

"You really didn't give us much choice." Kaminari said.

"You guys said that final Lyoko redux would be the last time!" Pit said with a sorrowful look.

"Yeah, I don't recall Pit volunteering." Shirou said. "Why do you guys keep doing that?"

"If we want to pass off as students, we have to at least look human." Mayumi said.

"Plus, it is funny and his feathers from the tape make great pillow stuffing." Pinkie said, holding said pillow. "Here, feel it."

"I don't see how…" Shirou said, touching it. "Oh…it's like holding a very soft cushion massaged by saints."

"...You know, I'm starting to think Viridi had a point." Pit grumbled under his breath as the group reached the school.

"Getting away from the pillows for a bit, do you all remember the plan Akira gave us?" Shirou asked.

"Right. Keep close to Akira, keep an eye on the people he told us to keep an eye on, and don't get into trouble." Odd said.

They stuck close to Akira, but they were sort of surprised by all the eyes watching the guy as he just walked around like a normal person as they headed into school. Though there were some cases during the day when his demon urges acted up…

"Dude, you're gonna get in trouble!"

"Everyone in the school can hear it! Turn it off, Fudo!"

"What's he watching?" Nemona asked, as her eyes and ears were being covered by Shirou and Arven, while some of the others got the same treatment.

"When you're older!" Saki said.

…but all in all, it was just a slightly abnormal school day, until track and field practice. There, they caught sight of two of the people Akira told them about: Miki Makimura, of course, but also one Miki Kuroda who goes by Miko due to the two having similar names.

"Oh yeah…which is better? Tops or bottoms?" Mineta said watching them running on the track.

Of course, the real takeaway was Akira, who clawed through the air as if he were grasping through a veil of fog to make it to his target win.

"He really is fast." Iida said.

"I guess merging with Amon magnified his attributes tenfold." Simon said.

"Maybe even more." Shirou said. "Ten seconds for a run."

"From what I know about Amon, is that he's a great marquis of Hell and the seventh of the 72 Goetic Demons. He is also one of the four personal assistants of Astaroth." Goutou said. "Though I doubt it's the case for this Amon."

"Some devil histories do change between worlds." Adora said. "But I'm not sure it's a good idea for someone to cheat their way through a physical exam by using devil enhanced abilities."

"Try telling that to Koda." Shirou asked, before they saw Akira leaving with Makimura. "C'mon, let's follow them."

The group followed him back to the docks as they saw him confronting the trio from yesterday, who were joined by two more boys.

"Oh great… Those guys again." David said. "Bunch of punks, all of them."

"C'mon David, they don't seem that bad." Mark said. "A little too pushy about asking for criticism, sure, but that's about it."

"Though they're probably pissed off at Ryo about yesterday." Simon said.

"Yeah…" Shirou said as they watched Akira. He seemed to be trying to talk them out of their anger, the group able to hear snippets of the conversation.

"...got hurt last night." Akira said. "He's recovering right now. I think he's paid for yesterday enough."

"Yeah? Did he get his ass whupped by pulling that gun of his out in the crowd?" a boy in a white tank top, a backwards baseball hat, a tattoo on the right side of his neck, and a gold chain with a dollar sign (seemingly the leader of the five-man band) asked.

"...Something like that." Akira said. "Look, I don't want any trouble. Let's just call it even, huh?"

"...You tell that friend of yours he'll be in trouble if he shows up here again." the boy warned him.

"I'll relay the message." Akira promised, as he took a bag up and headed back up to the road, where Miki was waiting, handing said bag to her. "(Last time, I beat the crud out of them. Now…I'm much wiser.)" he thought to himself, before he noticed the group out of the corner of his eye. "Oh, hey! Fancy meeting you guys here!" he waved over to them.

"Oh, uh…hey, Akira!" Mark returned the greeting, as the group walked over to them.

"Akira, who are all these people?" Miki asked. "More old friends like that Ryo guy?"

"New friends, actually. We ran into each other last night." Akira said.

"We're new in town, so we were hoping Akira here would give us a tour." Sachiko said. "It's nice to meet you, Miss…?"

"I'm Miki Makimura." Miki bowed to them in greeting. "First you get this new body, and now you have all these new friends…are you sure you're not getting into anything bad?" she asked.

"C'mon, do they look like druggies?" Akira asked. "Trust me, they're alright. They even helped me out when things got…crazy last night."

"There was this massive party at a church, and things really broke down." Adora said. "Some of the guests got a little too crazy and tried to get Akira in on the action by force, so we had to step in."

"Party at a church…that guy dragged you to a Sabbath?" Miki asked in worry. "Gah, I knew that guy was trouble. You better stay away from him."

"(Believe me, I wish I could…)" Akira thought to himself. "Ryo's not so bad once you get to know him. Besides, he's in the hospital, and I promised to come and visit." he explained to his friend before turning to the group. "Hey, why don't you guys come with me? I'm sure he's just dying to say thank you." he said, the group sensing the sarcasm underneath that statement.

"I think a lot of us will pass. Hospitals have a sort of policy where very few visitors are allowed visitations at a time." David said.

"I'm sure they'll let at least two of us in." Akira said.

"Don't worry about it. You just do what you need to do." Odd said.

"In fact, you can choose between us who will accompany you." Sakura said.

"Actually…that's not gonna be necessary." Akira said. "I can handle this. I've been through this enough times."

"What do you mean by that, Akira?" Miki asked, Akira getting nervous at the fact that she might be catching on.

"Uh… he means that he's gone through a lot of hospital visits! Yeah." Frosta said. "Right?" she asked Akira only to have seen him just run off. "Ugh…"

"Anyway… you all seem like nice people. If you're really Akiras friends, try to keep him out of as much trouble as possible, okay?" Miki asked.

"Easier said than done, but we'll do what we can. Count on it." David said.

Miki then headed off, holding her head a bit as flashes passed by in her mind. "That…was odd." she said to herself as she walked off.

"Did you guys see that? The way she was holding her head…" David said.

"Hmm…it may be because of how we interfered but…it seems Miki has locked away memories of the previous loops." Sheer said.

"Does that mean she's slowly regaining memories of how she… Well…" Mayumi started.

"If it were, she would be more distressed. So long as no one else tries to say things that may reveal the world's nature, we'll be fine." Sheer said looking to Sakura and Frosta.

"Why are you looking at us like that?" Sakura asked.

"Because your group has the biggest mouths out of everyone here." Takeshi said.

"He's not wrong. Your group and Ace's do always speak what's on your mind. Stuff that shouldn't even be revealed." Odd said. "Plus if you hadn't tried to force us into a hospital visit, we wouldn't be in this situation."

"I admit that one was…poorly worded." Sakura said.

"It probably didn't help the situation that I was trying to cover for Akira… I'm sorry, guys." Frosta said.

"Remember…we're only here to save this world and fight the demons, not playing into shenanigans." Iida said.

"We know what we signed up for, don't worry." Hope said. "We're not about to mess up on this world just because of loose lips."

"I feel like we're even more doomed when YOU say that." David said.

"Alright, that's enough of that." Mark said. "Moving on…we've discovered another reason to keep on the down low. For now, guess we'll just have to wait until Akira calls us."

"It's all we can do. It's all on Devilman to make his next move." Izuku said.

As the group discussed this, a pair of nuns walked by the school hearing all this, while their figures weren't known…one could be seen with light blue hair. However, they didn't stick around long, simply walking along and chatting among themselves.

"So that alliance has come here as well." the light blue haired nun said. "Seems we aren't the only ones with business here."

"Remember our charge from our Lord." The other nun stated sharply. "Don't reveal yourself too soon, sister Eirika."

"Right… Sorry, sister Luma." The nun named "Eirika" responded as they continued to walk.

It was only a few days later, that Devilman once again went into action. One night, at the docks, they ventured forth to find three devils feasting on a human being.

"Okay, those things have got to go." David said.

"There's something there…" one of the demons said as they walked towards a dumpster.

"Hey you!" the group heard Akira yell, getting the three demons attention. "Are you the ones who killed the priest? The one from Hosingi Temple?!"

"You're one of us, huh?" one of the demons observed. "You're late, we ate most of it. What, you're crying now?"

"Call to action in three…two…one…" Mark counted down.

"You…KILLED HIM!" Akira yelled as he transformed into his Devilman form.

(Cue: D.V.M.N. - Devilman: Crybaby)

"Amon?!" one of the devils said before their heads were immediately sliced off.

"We're all the same devils!" one of them said.

"No. I am no devil. I'm….Devilman!" Akira declared.

"And there's our cue, fellas!" Mark smiled.

"Right on!" David said as he took out Ebony and Ivory and started unloading at one of the devils still standing.

"I gotta get outta…" one of the flying devils said before having their heads sliced off by Tanjiro.

"Wow…this is all…" Jexi said before seeing a light from the dumpster. "What is that?"

"Infrared? Damn it. Someone's got a camera!" Eijiro said as they saw someone fleeing from the dumpster.

"Damn, they got away. And with evidence on us." Merrin said.

"More specifically, on Akira. They know he's a Devilman now." Takeshi said.

"Akira! Someone filmed you!" Ryo said, limping and using a stretcher. "They…" he stopped, seeing the group members. "The people from the Sabbath…?" he said as he held his head a bit as flashes passed through his eyes. "What? What was that?" he pondered.

"We need to get after that guy!" Izuku said.

"He'll likely be long gone by the time you guys catch up. If it ends up on the internet, we're finished." Ryo said.

Suddenly, the distant sound of a clatter was heard as well as the thud of a body, but it was without the sound of blood, indicating they were only knocked out, perhaps belonging to the person that was running off.

"(What?!)" Akira thought.

"What in the? They caught him before he reached the car." Carmine said.

When they reached the culprit who was now laying on the ground, the group saw a note laying next to the person as it had a simple message.

Perhaps you should be more careful about just who might be around when you do things, hm? Regardless, may the Lord bless you on your path of righteousness and vigor.

Signed, Sister Luma and Sister Eirika

"(Luma and Eirika…they must've already been here. Is this what they thought Liu Kang meant by standby…?)" Mark thought. "Alright, change of plans: we need to gaslight this dude. Anybody got a needle?"

"Before that." Izuku said as he grabbed the camera before smashing it. "Wouldn't want footage of us circulating around."

"Need needles? I think I can cover that. I have a medical kit in my bag." Arven said.

"Cool. Use an empty one." Mark said. Arven handed him said empty needle, while the half-angel carefully placed the unconscious man in a slumped position next to a wall, placing the syringe nearby. "With any luck, he'll think what he saw was a hallucination. Problem solved."

"You're going to leave him like that?" Ryo asked. "He saw Akira transform. If he tells anyone-"

"Who's going to believe him, especially without his camera?" Eddy pointed out. "Relax, Oreo, we're in the clear."

Ryo stared at the unconscious man, as if debating whether to just end him, but decided against it. "Nevermind that. You all were at the Sabbath, and now here. That's no coincidence. Who are you working for?" he asked.

"Easy, Ryo." Akira said. "They helped me get you out, remember? If they were trying to do a cover up or something, they would've killed us then and there, right? I think they can help."

"Yeah, yeah!" Mark said, jumping onto Akira's header. "We wanna help fight demons too. Trust me, we can hold our own. Isn't that right?" he asked the others.

"Yeah. As for who we work for, the answer is…we work for peace, justice and freedom." Jexi said.

Ryo narrowed his eyes as he glared at the group, tensed up, before he allowed himself to relax a little. "Fine. But if you want to help, you have to follow my instructions to the letter. I doubt any of you are like Akira, so you're more vulnerable. I will make sure none of you die, understand?"

"Whatever you say, fearless leader." Mark threw up a salute. "(Oh, if only he knew…)" he thought.
