Story 4: Funland

November 27th, 1993, Lake's Funland. A woman is running through the hallway of Lake's Funland during the night, with her child holding her hand. She is the security guard at Lake's Funland, and she had to bring her child with her due to a lack of babysitters. "Mommy!" The Child yells. "Blake it's ok alright? Go to the front Mommy will be there in a sec-" "THE VARMINT IS OVER-OVER-OVER HERE!" A voice calls. The Woman looks at her child and tells him to run, and the child obliges, running. The Woman looks around watching as Animatronics begin to approach her. She screams when one of them, an Animatronic based on a coyote sprints at her screaming.

The Child runs into the main stage area looking around. He lost his way. He just sits down and begins to cry. He gave up. "Don't cry. The exit is over there, you must hurry." A voice said. He looked around until he saw the animatronic standing on stage. Instead of holding its microphone, it was pointing to the exit. The Child ran there and opened the doors of Lake's Funland, running off.

December 23rd, 1993. It was a nice Thursday evening, Oskar and Eli were leaving the movie theater from seeing Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II. "That was a great movie," Eli said, leaning their head on Oskar's Shoulder. Oskar blushed a bit. "Yeah, I agree. The night is still young, want to do something else before we head home?" Oskar asked. Eli didn't respond. "Eli?" Oskar asked, turning to his left. But Eli wasn't there anymore. "Eli?!" Oskar asked, panicking. He looked around before finding her staring at a poster on the wall. "Eli? What are you doing?" Oskar asked. Eli didn't say anything, just kept staring at the poster. Oskar finally looked up at the poster, trying to see what he was so fascinated with. The Poster had 3 characters on it. Two humans and a red bird. One Human was in blue while the other was in red. The Tagline said "COME ON DOWN TO LAKE'S FUNLAND! WHERE THE FUN NEVER ENDS!" "Oh, it's a Chuck E Cheese's rip-off," Oskar said. Eli looked over at him, disappointed. "Not all of them are Chuck E Cheese Rip offs. Plus I don't like that place. The Rat gives me the creeps." Eli said. Oskar laughed, walking away. Eli quickly followed behind him. "I'm serious!" Eli said. "Alright, name one of those places that AREN'T Chuck E Cheese Rip-offs," Oskar said. "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Candy's Burgers & Fries, Rainforest Cafe, Major Magic's All-Star Pizza Revue, Circus Playhouse, Dims & Critters, Lake's Funland, Showbiz Pizza-" Eli began to say, but Oskar cut him off. "I said one not the whole damn bill of rights," Oskar said. Eli looked down sadly. "Sorry," Eli said. Oskar stopped and hugged Eli. "It's alright. It's not your fault." Oskar said. Eli hugged Oskar back. "Thanks, how about we go home and watch Godzilla raids again?" Eli asked. "I'm game!" Oskar said, rubbing Eli's hair.

When Eli and Oskar got home, Eli immediately ran for the tv and turned it on, to see an Advertisement for Lake's Funland playing. It had the same characters from the poster, with a few new ones. As quickly as the commercial started, it Ended, and Godzilla Raids again quickly took its place. Oskar sat down next to Eli on the couch to watch the movie. "I want to go there," Eli said. Oskar looked over at him. "Go where?" Oskar asked, thinking he was talking about the movie. "Lake's Funland. I want to go there." Eli said. Oskar tilted his head. "Eli, I get that but-" Oskar began to say. "But what? I have never been to any of those places. That's why I read about them so much, animatronics interest me. Plus, I want to feel normal. Like how I felt when we first met, hanging out with you was the best days of my life. Don't get me wrong, now that we're together, every night with you is amazing, but I want to do more..you know?" Eli suggested sadly. Oskar stared and sighed. "Alright, if you want to go, we can go," Oskar said. Eli looked up. "Really?!" Eli asked, her voice becoming higher pitched than it already was in excitement. "Of course, but..we're vampires. How are we going to get there?" Oskar asks. Eli thinks about it for literally a second before answering. "I think I have an Idea," Eli said.

The following night the two vampires flew through the city until they finally got to the family restaurant. They landed and there it was. Lake's Funland. The building had two windows and a door, with a Logo showing the Main Character Lake, with the Tagline "LAKE'S FUNLAND". "We're here.." Eli said. Oskar looked around, surveying the area. There was no one around, no cars in sight. Oskar tried the door, but the doors were shuttered. "Great, it's locked up. How are we gonna get in?" Oskar asked. Eli looked around before he noticed the control panel next to the door. "Hey Oskar?" Eli asked. "Yes?" Oskar asked. "Can you…hack that?" Eli asked, pointing to the control panel. Oskar tilted his head before nodding. Oskar walked to the panel and opened it. He messed with the panel for a bit before a spark came out. It slightly burnt his hand but the shutters opened and the door was unlocked. "Thanks, Honey!" Eli said, hugging Oskar. Oskar was holding his hand in pain. "Are you alright?" Eli asked. "Yeah, it hurts a bit but I'll be fine," Oskar said. Eli was about to run in before stopping. "...Wait, don't we need permission to go in?" Eli asked. Oskar walked over to him. "... It's a public place, I don't see why," Oskar said. Eli looked at him worried. "...You're not going to make me test it…right?" Eli asked. Oskar looked down at him and hugged him. "No, of course not. I love you too much to go through that again. I'll go," Oskar said. Before Eli could say anything, Oskar stepped into the restaurant and stood there. Nothing happened. No shaking, no blood, nothing. Oskar was completely fine. Even after 2 minutes, he was fine. "I'm fine. Come on in." Oskar said. Eli was hesitant at first before he breathed in and walked through the door. And nothing happened. Eli was safe. Eli hugged Oskar. "Thanks for risking it." Eli said. "No problem. Now come on, let's go have some fun!" Oskar said. Eli grinned and sprinted past him into the main showroom. "Eli! Wait up!" Oskar said, following him. He ran into the showroom as well, but couldn't find Eli. "Eli?" Oskar asked. "Oskar! Over here!" Eli shouted. Eli was standing next to a button that said "SHOWTIME!" Eli turned towards Oskar and smiled. "Should I press it?" Eli asked. Oskar nodded. Eli smiled and pressed the button. Like magic, the curtains opened and the animatronic characters began to burst into song, performing. A Disco Ball activated from the ceiling and began flashing lights. They were singing the song Talking in your sleep. There was Haiden Bonanza, a human animatronic seen on the poster. He had a tophat with a red ribbon and pin on it. The hat was slightly slanted and smaller than Lake's. The animatronic's latex mouth moved up and down as it sang with the rest of the hand. His eyes were blue as well. He wore a snazzy red suit and black tie, with white stripes on his sleeves. He had blue jeans and brown shoes. His joints were lined with stitches as if to give a stuffed animal vibe. Next was Chick the Bird. She was red, with sunglasses on, and an orange beak. She had a latex face mask, but the rest of her face was red and fluffy, a bit like feathers. She wore a white shirt without the sleeves. She also wore jeans shorts and her orange legs were rubber, with white plastic claws. Last but not least of the main cast, was The Man himself: Lake Wagner. Lake had a large blue tophat on, with a black ribbon and a big white pin with an L on it. He wore swirly glasses over his face a blue bowtie and a light blue suit similar to Haiden's red suit. He wore blue gloves and had a mic stand. He also had dark blue jeans and blue shoes. The Animatronics continued to perform their jolly birthday songs as Oskar and Eli watched in awe. Oskar had been to Chuck E Cheese's and Showbiz Pizza before, so he wasn't too surprised, but Eli had never been to any of these types of places, so he was struck with awe and giddy about it. Eli quickly turned to Oskar. "Wanna dance?" Eli asked, holding out her hand. Oskar took his hand and the young vampire couple danced as the animatronics sang. Before sparks came from Haiden. "... What's wrong with that one?" Oskar asked. Eli stopped and stared. "I'm not sure," Eli said. The animatronics stopped performing and deactivated, the lights going out as the curtains closed and the disco ball went back up into the ceiling. "I guess the robots are malfunctioning," Oskar said. "Animatronics, they're called Animatronics," Eli said. Oskar chuckled. "Right, Animatronics," Oskar said. Eli turned and noticed a sign saying "Alice In Wonderland". "Oskar, look! There's another showroom!" Eli said, sprinting for the room. Oskar followed and saw Eli pressing the Showtime Button next to the stage. But the button didn't do anything. Eli pressed the button again and still, it didn't do anything. "I think the button is broken," Oskar said. Eli frowned. "Aww…" Eli said sadly. Oskar walked over to the curtain and opened them, before yelping and falling back. Eli began to giggle. "Ow…Very funny," Oskar said. Eli helped him back up. "Are you alright?" Eli asked. "It hurts a bit, but I'll be fine," Oskar said. Eli noticed something on the stage's wall behind one of the animatronics and climbed up on stage. "Eli, I don't think that's a good idea," Oskar said. Eli didn't listen and went closer to the device on the stage. She pressed a button and a music box went off, some nice piano music/classical music was playing on it. "This sounds Nice," Eli said, walking back towards Oskar. The Animatronics remained on stage and didn't perform, until all of a sudden, the animatronics burst into performance, singing the song "Wait Til Tomorrow." Eli was startled for a second, causing Oskar to giggle and rub her hair. "Now you know how I feel," Oskar said. Eli pouted a bit, before leaning his head on Oskar's shoulder. The First Animatronic is Alice Wagner, Alice has long red hair that is mostly kept, however is a little messy around her ears. She has glass green eyes, capable of glowing in dark rooms. This could be a night vision feature. She also wore black circle sunglasses, similar to Lake's Glasses. Her latex face has a permanent smile on her face showing her two rows of teeth. She wears a long red overcoat adorned with 2 golden buttons. Fingerless gloves cover her hands. She has black pants and red shoes. She highly resembles a young woman or child, which could make her more child-friendly to the children. Next is Alex Graham Coyote, this character was similar to Rolfe de Wolfe from Showbiz Pizza Place, in that he had a latex mask, allowing for facial movement. His brown fur moved with the air as well and his ears moved via the endoskeleton motors. He had a small black Durby hat on his head, which was kept on via velcro. It's a miracle it hasn't fallen off yet. He had yellow straps on him, with grey saggy pants. He had plastic claws along with his teeth. He had a nice brown bushy tail that was programmed to move on its own or wag when the character got excited. Like the other animatronics, Alex had stitches on his joints, giving him the stuffed animal feel. Last up was Johnny "Jon Kun" The rabbit. Similar to Alex and Chick, he had a latex face mask, with some whiskers as well. He was grey and had a cowboy hat that had a star in the middle, with his rabbit ears poking out from the top. He wore green overalls and had green and yellow armbands on. He held a banjo, the only animatronic aside from Lake himself to have an instrument. Like the other animatronics, he had stitches on his joints to give him the stuffed animal feel. The Animatronics kept performing their songs as Oskar and Eli watched. Eli turned towards Oskar. "... There's another song, you want to dance?" Eli asked. But this time, that wasn't happening. When Jon Kun strummed on his banjo, sparks began to show as the animatronics abruptly stopped and the curtains closed. "...How the hell did that happen he's playing the Banjo," Oskar asked confused. Eli sighed before smiling. "There should be some arcade machines around here somewhere, you wanna go play them?" Eli asked. Oskar nodded. "Sure! But, what are their names? You never told me." Oskar asked, pointing to the now-closed curtain. Eli shrugged. "I'm not sure, I only know Lake, Haiden, and Chick from the commercial," Eli said. Oskar thought about it for a second, before snapping his fingers, slightly startling Eli. "Sorry, I think I saw something in the front, follow me!" Oskar said. Eli smiled and followed Oskar out of the room, as one of the animatronics from behind the curtains watched them leave.

Oskar looked around the entrance before finding what he was looking for. On the wall, there was a poster with the Tagline "MEET THE BAND!" on it. There, it showed photos of the Characters, along with their names and a bit about them. "Ah, so the Woman is Alice Wagner, Lake's Sister, The wolf is actually a Coyote named Alex Graham Coyote, and the Rabbit is named Jon Kun," Eli said. Oskar nodded. "Yeah, it looks like it," Oskar said. Oskar looked at the door, which was still open. Good. "Hey, you want to go play the arcade games now?" Eli asked. Oskar nodded. "Sure, let's go!" Oskar said. Oskar walked into the main party room, with Eli, when they noticed something odd. The Curtains of the main stage were oddly now open. But all 3 animatronics were still there. "...Weren't the curtains closed before?" Eli asked. Oskar shrugged. "It might be a technical glitch, the Animatronics were acting up earlier," Oskar said. Eli smiled. "You got it right this time!" Eli said. Oskar smiled back. "Yeah, I did," Oskar said. Eli sprinted off. "LAST ONE THERE IS A ROTTEN EGG!" Eli yelled excitedly. Oskar ran after them, chuckling as he ran. The animatronics remained motionless on stage until Haiden's eyes slowly turned toward the direction the kids ran in.

Oskar and Eli played Frogger on one of the arcade machines in the game zone. The Game Zone was one of 4 rooms near another party room. There was The Game Zone itself, which held multiple arcade games, An Arts and Crafts Room, which allows kids to do arts and crafts, another game room, which only has one Arcade machine, but in return, has a foosball table, a pool table, a hockey table, and a topdown arcade machine, going by the name Midnight Moterist. The last room is a prize counter, where kids can trade in tickets for prizes. Whether that be a Lake plush or a Figure of Alex, this is the spot to get the best prizes. Anyway, back to Oskar and Eli. The two were simply playing arcade games when Oskar stopped abruptly. Eli stopped as well. "...You heard that too, right?" Oskar asked. Eli nodded. There were footsteps…and they were getting closer. "Quick, behind the arcade machines!" Eli said. Oskar nodded and the two hid behind the arcade machines as Haiden walked in. The animatronic looked around before stepping inside. As the animatronic walked past the arcade machines, the arcades flickered to life, making noises as Haiden looked around. "Aw, come on out! I know you're in here you know, won't make any use of hiding," Haiden said. Oskar and Eli didn't say anything and remained hidden. "Come on. You kids must know that it isn't safe for kids like you to be here at this time of day. Just come out, and It'll all be fine," Haiden said. Oskar and Eli stayed quiet. Haiden was getting frustrated. So his eyes rolled back and his mouth opened wide, well to the point the endoskeleton and latex mask would allow. "FOUND YOU," Haiden said. The animatronic quickly began to approach Oskar and Eli's hiding spot. He picked up the arcade machine and threw it. Oskar and Eli looked up at the animatronic looking down at them. "RUN!" Eli yelled. Oskar sprinted past Haiden and Eli ran alongside him. Haiden turned around and began to follow them. The first place they got to was the security office. It had an open hallway, but there was a monitor there. Oskar opened the drawer and found a Taser, while Eli found a bucket of water in the office. "I got an Idea!" Oskar yelled. Haiden was approaching the office fast, as Oskar ran to one side of the office. "On the count of 3.." Oskar whispered. Haiden walked into the office and looked around. "Come on Kids, come on out! Nows not the time for hide and seek." Haiden said. "NOW!" Oskar said. Eli nodded and spilled the water over Haiden's legs. The animatronic looked down in confusion. "Water? What's that gonna do, make me short circuit-" Haiden began to say, until Oskar shot the taser at the water, electrifying the animatronic. Smoke exited the animatronic as it was electrocuted, before falling with a loud thud. "Oskar…?" Eli asked. "Yeah?" Oskar asked. "I want to go home…" El said.

Oskar and Eli began running for the main entrance, only to hear the shutters beginning to close. "No…No…No!" Oskar yelled. But it was too late, the shutters had already shut. Eli sighed. "Thank goodness we're vampires, right? Or else we'd be in trouble." Eli said. Oskar laughed. "Yeah, let me open this." Oskar said. He walked towards the shutters and placed his hands on them, however, what he wasn't expecting was an electric charge to be emitted from the shutters. The shock caused Oskar to go flying into the wall, knocking him out. "OSKAR!" Eli yelled. She ran towards Oskar and felt his pulse. Still alive luckily. But he didn't know how long he'd be out. "Don't worry honey…I'll protect you." Eli said. He picked up Oskar and threw him over his shoulders, and began to walk to the office. Before stopping in the main showroom. Now Chick was missing. All that remained on the stage was Lake. "...Oh no..what have we done?" Eli asked himself. Lake reactivated all of a sudden as the music began to play. Lake began to sing. "Six little chickens at the end of the line…Six little chickens at the end of the line, one happy weasel says it's dinner time, six little chickens outta be just fine." Lake began to sing. "W-What..?" Eli asked, confused. "Six little chickens in the weasel's den. Four little roosters and a couple of hens. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, six little chickens at the end of the line." Lake continued. Eli began to hold Oskar close. "Six little chickens…Watch out now! Six little chickens…here comes the weasel! Six little chickens running out of time…woops! Five little chickens at the end of the line.." Lake said. Then Lake stopped performing and went back to being dormant. Eli shrugged and carried Oskar to the security office, only to realize that Haiden was gone. But he didn't walk away, by the look of the wet streaks on the ground, he was dragged away. Eli shrugged it off and sat Oskar in one of the chairs, as Oskar began to breathe heavily. "E-Eli…" Oskar said weakly. "Shh… it's ok, I'm right here, I'll keep you safe." Eli said. Eli kissed his boyfriend on the cheek, causing Oskar to smile a bit, before slipping out of consciousness. Eli smiled weakly, clearly still shaken up by what's been going on. Eli finally decided to look around the security office. Now that he was actually paying attention, she noticed a large button in the middle of the room. Out of curiosity, they pressed it. The lights went off in the room and stayed off until Eli pressed the button again. There were two large vents on the walls of the office, hanging from the ceiling. That might be important later. And of course, the Camera monitor sitting on the desk. Eli turned it on and it booted up, showing the security cameras around Lake's Funland. The first camera it was automatically on was the Stage 01 Camera, which it only had Lake. He remained on stage. Eli checked the next camera. The only animatronics on the stage were Alex and Alice. Jon Kun was missing. Eli pressed a random button and a flashlight went off. Eli didn't need it, of course, he was already a vampire, and he could see in the dark. He also noticed a few speaker icons on the monitors and a tape icon on the Stage 02 camera. It had a rewind and Play button. Eli clicked the rewind button and the tape rewound itself. Then, she pressed play, and the tape began to play. Eli checked more of the cameras, before finding the parts and service room. In that room was Haiden, who seemed to be deactivated. Perhaps he was dragged back there by one of the other animatronics. Eli kept checking the security cameras until he heard sounds in the vents. "What's that sound?" Eli asked. They toggled the cameras, now showing the ventilation, and found Jon Kun crawling through the vents, and the rabbit didn't stop. As quick as Eli saw it, Jon Kun popped out of one of the vents and began to stare at him, shaking rapidly and his iris glowing sharply. A loud buzzing sound began to play, as Jon Kun began to edge more and more out of the vent. Eli, thinking quickly, slammed the power button, turning off the lights. The animatronic stopped twitching and looked around the room, seemingly visibly distraught. He backed away into the vent, clanking heard in the vents until Eli heard him exiting the vent. Eli turned the lights on and checked the monitor, to see Jon Kun was back on the stage, but also Alice was looking up now, not at the camera, but looking up. Eli rewound the tape and played it again, resetting the animatronic. Eli sat back and panted, holding Oskar's hand. "...We'll get through this… Before the sun comes up." Eli said to the unconscious vampire.

It was around 3am when Oskar finally woke up, no one but Jon Kun came to the office, during the time Oskar was passed out. "...Ow…What happened?" Oskar asked. Eli turned and quickly hugged Eli. "OSKAR! YOUR ALRIGHT!" Eli yelled. Oskar shuttered a bit when Eli hugged him so suddenly. "What happened while I was out..? How long was I out?" Oskar asked. "Since 1. It's 3:42AM right now." Eli said. Oskar nodded and stopped hugging Eli, scratching his head. "Well, maybe we sh-" Oskar began to say until he heard something approaching them. "Wait, what's that noise?" Oskar asked. Eli stared down the hall, before hearing the footsteps go faster. "You still got that taser?" Eli asked. Oskar pointed to the desk, where the taser still resided. It had a few charges left. They might need it. Out of the darkness sprinted Alex, his mouth open wide with his plastic sharp teeth. He was roaring in rage. Almost immediately, Oskar shot the taser at Alex, electrocuting the animatronic. Alex also happened to be standing in the same puddle of water from earlier via the encounter with Haiden, so the electricity was amped up a lot more than it normally would. Alex fell on the ground hard with a thud. "Well, that takes care of two of them," Eli said. Oskar nodded before thinking about something. "...Where are Jon Kun and Chick?" Oskar asked. Eli checked the cameras to find both Chick and Jon Kun in the vents. "The vents, why?" Eli asked. "Metal conducts electricity, right?" Oskar asked. "Yes…and?" Eli asked. Oskar grinned. "I got an Idea," Oskar said. Eli tilted his head in confusion as he watched Oskar walk over to the vent. Oskar shot the Taser into the vent, electrifying it. Loud thuds were heard inside the vent. "Check the cameras," Oskar said. Eli checked the cameras, to find Jon Kun and Chick Deactivated. "...That SHOULDN'T have worked, but a lot happened tonight," Eli said. Eli checked the Stage 02 Camera again, only to find Alice gone. "...Wait shit where did she go?" Eli asked. Right on cue, laughter was heard in the hallway. "Come find me.." Alice said. Oskar and Eli looked at eachother, before taking a deep breath and leaving the safety of the security office.

Oskar and Eli walk around the building looking for the rouge animatronic. It's a bit dark, but nothing they can't handle. "You're as cold as an Igloo…" Alice said, her voice echoing throughout the halls. "Where is she? It sounds like she's everywhere." Eli said. Oskar shrugged. "You're getting warmer…." Alice said, her voice sounding a bit more sadistic. Osker looked towards the women's restrooms. "...She's in there," Oskar said. "In there?" Eli asked. Oskar nodded. "I think so, I'll go in," Oskar said. "Nope," Eli said bluntly. "What?" Oskar asked. "You did so much for me tonight, let me do it," Eli said. Oskar nodded as Eli walked into the women's restroom. "You'll never find me.." Alice said. Eli rolled his eyes and kicked down the door of one of the stalls. "You're as cold as an igloo!" Alice said. Eli groaned as he kicked down the door of the next stall. "Lucky day, you're getting warmer.." Alice said. Eli smirked a bit before kicking down the second to last door. "You're as hot as a volcano!" Alice said. Eli kicked down the last door, but there was no one there. "...What the..?" Eli thought to himself. Before Alice leaped down from the ceiling, kicking Eli into the sink. "YOU FOUND ME!" Alice said. The Animatronic attempted to grab Eli, but the vampire child was fast. "G-G-Get over here you little brat!" Alice said. Eli tried to run for the exit but the animatronic grabbed his hair hard and threw him into the wall. Alice cackled and began to walk over to the limp vampire to deal the final blow. But little did she know is that Vampires were resilient, VERY resilient. Eli sprang back up, now in a rage, and slammed the animatronic into a mirror, throwing the animatronic around, and battering it. Soon, he stomped onto the animatronic's face, caving it in. Eli stepped out of the restroom, covered in both blood and Oil. "...What the hell happened in there?" Oskar asked. "You don't want to know. Let's just go find a way out of here." Eli said.

Oskar and Eli walked into the main showroom, to notice Lake still standing on stage. "...Wait, Lake's still here," Oskar said. Eli stared. "Yeah, we should take care of him," Eli said. Right when Eli said that the disco ball went down, with only red lightning coming from it. That's when Lake, for the first time that night, began to move. The Animatronic took off its swirly glasses, showing not Lake's normal green eyes, but pure black ones, with white irises. Lake begins to walk off the stage before the light disappears off of him, when it goes back to the spot, Lake is gone. "Where the hell did he go?" Oskar asked. Before Eli could respond he heard rapid footsteps heading for his location. Before he could react, Lake kicked him, sending him flying into the showtime button, which played a distorted Happy Birthday Song. "Eli!" Oskar yelled. He looked around before Lake ran up behind him and socked him on the back of the head with his gloved fist. "Ow!" Oskar said. Oskar didn't have time to react again as Lake ran up to him and Kneeed him in the stomach. It caused Oskar to fall over. Eli got up to attempt to help Oskar, but Lake sprinted towards him and grabbed him, throwing him into the wall. "ELI!" Oskar yelled. He ran towards Lake, who in response grabbed him and threw him. Lake walked back to the stage and grabbed his Mic Stand, then, he began to walk back towards the battered vampires. He raised the Mic stand, about to impale it through them, but then he stopped. As if thinking about it. Hesitating. Eli looked up at the animatronic who seemed to be having an internal battle with itself. Eli was in a lot of pain, but he still tried to get up. But he was too weak too. Lake stopped. He lowered his arms and dropped the Mic Stand, causing the already-on Microphone to give harsh feedback. "...Go," Lake said, his voice sounding tired. "What-What..?" Eli asked. "Go home. Leave." Lake said, his voice sounding a bit more agitated. Oskar attempted to get up and punch Lake, but the animatronic simply flicked his head softly, causing Oskar to fall back down. "Run little fawns. Before all hope disappears." Lake said, his voice as if…sounding sad this time. Eli got up and held Oskar over his shoulder, and walked past Lake. "T-Thank you," Eli said. The animatronic simply nodded. "...Oh, and one more thing," Lake said, the vampire kids behind him. Eli stopped in his tracks. "Don't ever come back. If I see you back here again, I won't hesitate to kill you both next time." Lake said. "Alright," Eli said. "Now go home. Dawn is near." Lake said. Eli nodded and carried Oskar back to the front, the shutters were now open. Eli opened the door and left the building, with Oskar over his shoulders. Lake watched them go. Once they were out of sight, Lake sighed. He walked back to the stage, put back on his glasses, and stood there, waiting for the workers to come back in the morning.

Eli and Oskar burst into their apartment, just in time as the sun was coming back up. "...Let's not talk about that for a while. Agreed?" Eli asked. Oskar nodded. "Agreed, let's just stay inside tomorrow night," Oskar said weakly. Eli and Oskar went into their room and lay down, going to sleep after a very rough night.

Oh right! One more thing! Here's a little treat for you, a Prologue!

A girl opened her eyes, and all she saw was darkness. It was cold, and quiet, only for what sounded like a sound machine in the distance. But, she was too frightened to move. "Where...Where am I? David..? David where are you?!" She called out into the darkness. But then, a voice responded, but it sounded like a Monster or something from nightmares. "Calm down my dear, you are safe." The voice said, staying hidden in the darkness. "Who...who are you? Where am I?" The girl asked, panicking. "Who am I? I go by many names. Beast, Death, The Judge... actually. You can call me the Judge." The Judge said, his voice booming.

"Where am I?" The girl asked, beginning to shiver a bit. "You died. You see, I've been watching you from afar and was unable to intervene. So I sent my dog to your aid. However, it seems even with him it couldn't stop your fate." The Judge said, his voice sounding sad and full of remorse. "D-Dusty..?" The girl asked, remembering the dog who helped her through those times of hardship. While she couldn't see it, the Judge smiled. "Yes! Dusty. He's a good chap. So now I come here to you, with an offer, or better yet..a gift." The Judge said. The girl tilted her head in confusion. "A..Gift?" The girl asked.

"You didn't deserve to die the way you did. So I have a gift for you, I will bring you back, but it isn't in the way you think. I can't bring you back to your old Body, but I can sure as hell give you a brand new one." The Judge boomed. The girl's eyes went wide.

"...A new...Body?" She asked. She could hardly believe her ears. "Yes! A brand new Body! A body where you will never be hurt again. A body where you will never be abused again. A body where you're loved and adored by many. A body where you can show love during the day, but be the terror of the night, once midnight strikes." The Judge offered. "...What...do I have to exchange? I have nothing." The girl said. The Judge laughed. "Haha! Meg my dear. There is no need to exchange anything. This is a gift, from me to you. And you won't be alone. I have some friends who unfairly lost their lives as well and they need someone to look after them. So what do you say?" The Judge asked. "...Loved...Safe... Immortal...Let it be. I accept." Meg said. The Judge smiled. "Good." said The Judge. Black tendrils began to race toward Meg. "Wait. What about David? Will I ever see him again?" Meg asked, The Tendrils stopped. "...Perhaps, soon you two will be... Together Again." The Judge said. Meg sighed, before nodding.

"...Alright. Let it be then." Meg said. The Tendrils raced towards her, and grabbed her, beginning to cover her body. Meg began to smile, the Smile getting wider with every word The Judge said.

"You will be loved by all. You will have a strong metal frame. No one will ever hurt you again. You will be immortal. You will be as strong as God himself. You will be safe once again. You will be free." The Judge said.
