Chapter 10: One of Us:
Kiara's POV:
I was going to talk to Kovu...
"Kiara, I can't let you talk to Kovu," says my Father, "I want to talk to him."
"Works for me," I said.
Kovu's POV:
"So, what's up," I asked. I then saw we were in that canyon. "Oh... Zazu already told me that story!"
"That's not what this is about," says Simba, "I wanted to say I'm sorry for judging you. I just want to keep Kiara safe and protect the pridelands."
"I get it," I said, "I mean... all I'm missing is the scar. I could be his son, huhh?"
"Kovu, I would be glad to have you in the pridelands," says Simba.
"Isn't that nice," asks my Mother, "but I'm afraid this might complicate things!"
"Zira," asks Simba, "what are you doing here?"
"Oh, you didn't figure it out," asks Mother, "Kovu was our assassin the entire time!"
"What," asks Simba.
"I can explain..." I tried.
"Talk later, Kovu," says Nuka, "kill now!"
They were all coming, and Simba had to run. There was this large pile of rocks in the way. Simba climbed. Some lions tried to go after him, but I tried to stop them. Nuka then climbed after Simba.
"Nuka, come back," says Mother.
"I'll make you proud, Mother," says Nuka. He then slipped and fell and... he was dead!
"Nuka..." says Mother. "He's dead and it's all because of you!" She then scratches my face. I then ran.

I returned to Pride Rock, and everyone was looking at me. "Let me at him," says Timon, "Pumbaa, hold my tail!"
"Okay," says Pumbaa.
"Let me at him," says Timon.
"Okay," says Pumbaa. He then let go.
"I don't think you quite understand the context," says Timon.
"Kovu, explain everything," says Simba.
I then told them the truth of my betrayal.
"I warned you, Lad," says Zazu.
"You are banished from the Pride Lands," says Simba.
Animals: Deception... Disgrace...
Evil as plain as the scar on his face
Zebras: Deception
(Chorus: An outrage!)
Giraffes: Disgrace (Chorus: For shame!)
Hippo: He asked for trouble the moment he came
Animals: He can't change his stripes!
Zebras: Deception (Chorus: An outrage!)
Giraffes: Disgrace
For shame
All Animals: You know these outsider types
Evil as plain as the scar on his face

Just leave us alone

Animals: Traitor, go back with your own!
Hippo: He asked for trouble the moment he came
Animals: See you later, agitator!
Chorus: Born in grief
