Joanna Tames the Heart of a Beast

After receiving her father's sword and grandfather's amulet, a young girl named Joanna and her dog have been transported to a different France where she mets a girl named Belle and joins her as she takes her father's place in a castle that is owned by a beast. Now Joanna has to help Belle and the beast fall in love before the last petal of a magic rose fell. Can she do it?

2. In the woods and I met a new friend

Shadow and I had a look around. I started to feel a bit scared. I then looked down at myself. I am wearing a different outfit. I look like a traveling maid of some kind. I hope that Shadow can pick up a scent. Then we heard something that sounded like howling. That made Shadow whimper in fright. I knew that we had to get to safety now and fast. Before something terrible would happen. Shadow and I ran and ran as fast as we can.

I didn't look where I was going and I tripped over a tree root. I tried to get up, but my ankle got hurt! I must've twisted it or something. I said to Shadow, "I can't walk like this boy. I don't know what to do." I really hope that my ankle would heal somehow. Then as if by magic, I looked at grandfather's amulet started to glow and it focused on my ankle.

My ankle is healed a bit and it still hurt. My dog accompanied me while I limped. Then we heard a neigh. I looked around to see where is it coming from. However due to the fog, it's hard. Then my dog and I saw a shadow in the fog. I picked up Shadow and quickly moved back, but however due to not looking where I was going, I tripped over a branch and fell.

I groaned. Oh man that hurt badly. Then Shadow and I heard a gentle voice that asked, "Are you alright?" The two of us then looked up and we saw a young woman.

I didn't want to be rude so I answered, "Yes, I am, I just got startled, but I hurt my ankle a bit." The woman said, "I'm so sorry that my horse and I startled you."

I reassured her, "It's fine. Really it is." The woman then noticed my dog. She asked me, "Who is this cute dog?" I answered her, "Who Shadow? Shadow's my dog." Then the woman asked me another question. She asked, "How did you get here?" I answered her, "To be honest, I don't know. My dog and I just came from out of nowhere."

She understood that and said, "Well I have to believe that you did came out of nowhere." That was surprising that she believed that I told the truth on how I got to the forest. Then she told me what she was doing in the forest.

She was looking for her father and younger brother and sister. I didn't know she had a younger brother and sister. That's something new to me. She then explained why she is in the woods.

They were on their way to the fair and they didn't show up back home. So she went to find them. That explains why she was in the woods. I can see that. Totally can.

I then said, "My dog and I would be glad to help you find your father and siblings." That made her smile. We then introduced ourselves. I learned her name is Belle. That sounds like a lovely name to me. Shadow and I were on her horse when she continued onward.

Then I saw something in the distance. Something that looks a lot like a castle. It looks different. I think it does. I don't know what the inside looks like, but I'll find out. Yes I will.

I shall eventually. It's for the best.
