Summary: She was kind and nurturing, gentle yet strong all the same. Of course, as the daughter of Pro-Hero All Might, it came as no surprise. Todoroki didn't understand his feelings for her, but he knew they'd be a thorn in his father's side, and that was all the motivation he needed, truly.
Pairing: Todoroki/Kagome.

Prologue
The first time he actually laid eyes on her was at the Entrance Exam for U.A. Her eyes, a brilliant shade of ocean blue, and the unbothered smile on her face acted like a beacon. There had been rumors floating around, news speculation and the like of it. Of her going to U.A. much like her father had in the past.
Upon getting close to her, he couldn't help but note just how warm she felt. She was approachable, overly so. Everyone looked at ease with her. It was as if she radiated a positive, gentle aura. Her Quirk was undefined, but he got the feeling that it somehow had something to do with it.
A feeling entirely new to him hit him directly in the chest the moment she smiled at him. It was different from that of the Pro-Hero who fathered her. For a few seconds, it felt like he'd forgotten how to breathe entirely.
He felt hot and cold all at the same time. It wasn't strange to begin with, given the nature of his Quirk, but for the first time, it seemed, he was actually aware of every step he took. Of every little thing he did.
She was in tune with those around her, seeming to predict what they'd do with confidence that seemed to be well-deserved.
Bold.
That was the only word he could think of to describe her as he watched over the distance.
Her presence was impossible to ignore, yet it was far from overwhelming. It wasn't entirely unexpected, given her roots. He could tell she didn't overlook the attention he placed on her, yet she remained utterly unfazed.
Crossing paths with her again came as no surprise. It was more of a matter of when, opposed to if and how. Fate would deem that they fall into the same class. Split gray and blue eyes watched from his seat as she easily struck up conversations with those around her. He felt like a creep almost for the way he just watched her. When she cut her eye back to catch his own, he knew she'd known it the whole time.
Still, she remained unfazed by the pressure of his stare.

"It's funny, don't you think, Todoroki-kun?"
Her voice was reminiscent of a bell- sweet and charming that left his thoughts buzzing pleasantly. Whether she picked up on that or not, he couldn't gauge. She smiled and sat down in the vacant seat in front of his own. As she did, she turned and rested her chin on her palm.
"They still don't know who I am," she remarked softly. She looked out at the rest of the room before she shifted her gaze back to his face. Those blue eyes caught his own, and he felt like he'd drown in them. "You do though, don't you?" she mused. Though she phrased it like a question, it was far from one. Her smile widened, and she stifled a laugh. "I imagine you've pieced it together so swiftly because of your father," she hummed as an afterthought.
He didn't have to say anything in order to prove her right. They both were aware of that fact. Her knowing smile gave it all away.
Once more, feelings he wasn't familiar with took root within his chest. He felt like he didn't know how to speak, looking into her eyes.
"Either way," she continued, eventually turning in her seat to face the front of the room as the rest scrambled into a spot at the appearance of Aizawa, their homeroom teacher. "I hope you don't let your father's presence dissuade us from being friends." Her shoulders shook in a faint laugh. "After all, I'm far from my father. Why should Endeavor's grudge fall to land in my way?"

She felt the glare boring into her turned back, but she didn't let it faze her for the longest time. That did nothing to lighten the glare any, however. However, once they were joined by their homeroom teacher- a man lugging around a bulky, yellow sleeping bag with him, she ended up shifting her focus back in front of her.
As she turned, her blue gaze momentarily snagged a famliar pair of ruby. A second or two passed, and she looked away. Her expression betrayed none of her emotions as she leaned to rest her chin in her palm.
Over the distance, she felt the rage spike in his aura. She bit back on the urge to scoff.
She couldn't fathom how the spiky-haired blonde thought he was in the right. Her hand tightened in her lap.
He was the one who ruined their friendship, after all. He had no right to be jealous when she went on with her life like nothing was amiss.
It was his fault, anyway.
Auroua-chan: I've been tinkering on this for a while now, so I'm glad it's ready to post. The chapters will get longer starting with the next one.
All Might might be the symbol of peace, but Kagome is most certainly an agent of chaos. Not that he'd be surprised any.
So, Kagome and Bakugo were friends once upon a time- and they were quite close. But for one reason or another, they had a falling out. It'll be touched on a bit later.
Anyway, that's it for now! Thank you all for reading, and I hope you all enjoyed! Hopefully I caught all the errors before posting, but if not sorry.
Please remember to Reivew&Favorite&Follow, thank you!
Bye for now~
