It all began when Makoto Kino travelled to the Swiss Alps. She had unexpectedly inherited a lodge nearby from a great-aunt that she had never heard of, mostly because all other relatives were dead or disinherited. And so, during the short break between the end of middle school and the beginning of high school, Makoto had decided to visit her new property, even if it was for the only time. And so that she could share her experiences with her fellow Sailor Guardians, she had started a video diary.

"Day 1. Spent most of the day so far getting to know this old place. A lot of the furniture's been here since the 60s, which may need replacing. Though Olga the maid might have some sentiments towards the antiques, she seems open to replacing the couch. So after leaving her to look at catalogues, I've decided to go and check out the mountains." The camera was then cut out by the arrival of a mountain ranger.

"Miss, no photography is allowed on the ski slopes.", the man informed her. "We could be liable if you broke your neck while on the slopes."

Makoto sighed. "Well, that's alright. I suppose I can go one part of this trip in private." She handed the camera over to he man. "But I'll want that back later."

And with that said, Makoto set off skiing down the mountain, which had an altitude of 3.15 meters. The road downhill was fairly rocky, but Makoto was able to avoid the obstacles. Except for the last one, placed right in front of the finish line. "Not good!", Makoto called out as she fell off the mountain. "JUPITER STAR POWER!"

A few hours later, Makoto woke up, seeing a cave in front of her. "Hey, this wasn't on the map.", she realised, before approaching the cave. Inside, she found a plank of wood placed atop a mortar. "Strange."

"You!" Makoto turned around to see a creature that looked like a mishmash of different body parts. She recognised some features from the Youma, Cardians, Droids and Daimons that she and the other Sailor Guardians. "You… killed us…! We… kill you!"

Makoto sighed. This was all that she needed right now. Luckily, the fall hadn't knocked her out of her transformation, allowing her to launch an attack. "Sparkling Wide Pressure!" She generated a ball of lightning that she threw at the monster, only for the creature to swat the attack, sending several smaller sparks flying all around the cavern, with one hitting the wooden plank.

The creature was now laughing. "Did you really think we wouldn't anticipate your attacks, Sailor Guardian? That we wouldn't create a natural immunity to them." It stepped forward and fired a beam from a mouth on its hand that knocked Makoto back.

But she quickly pulled herself up by holding onto the stick. "I'm not beat yet.", Makoto declared. "I won't stop until I'm done with you." Suddenly, the wooden stick began to glow blue. "What the-?" The plank of wood then became a steel mallet. "What is this?" Makoto pointed the hammer, which launched a bolt of lightning at the creature, sending it flying.

"That power!", the creature hissed as it began to disintegrate. "What is it-? We've never felt anything like this." And then it was gone, as if it was never there.

Makoto reverted to normal, but she was still holding the hammer. "Whoa, what is this thing?" The hammer turned back into a wooden stick, which Makoto promptly carried out of the cave. "I think one of the others might know something."
