A Pokemon Scarlet and Violet One Shot Fic

Hey Guys, MegaSalamence64, Welcome to another Fic:
This Fic is based on the Theory/Headcanon that Nemona's not actually Possessed by Peacharunt but instead played along with it just for a battle.
(Heck there's evidence that she's able to at least able to last longer/Resist Peacharunt's control over her if she's still able to speak mostly normally during the battle with her and have partial memories unlike everyone else whom's possessed, Heck she seems to remember catching the Kommo-o as well… So Nemona's for sure either faking being possessed or able to resist it better then others at least)

World of Pokemon, Land of Kitakami, Mossu Town, After Juliana and Kieran has fled form the Village:
"MOCHI MOCHI MOCHI!" Said the Villagers of Mossu Town, Arven and Penny as they're forced to dance and say Mochi like they're Pokemon, As the One controlling them was laughing at their slow enslavement.
"Yes, Dance my army! Dance! Become my new loyal minions! Become them!" It said as it looked at Carmine and her Grandparents with several other villagers as purple light was covering their necks
Carmine's neck soon grew a Purple chain that resemble the ones on the Loyal Three (Peacharunt's first set of Minions) that locked itself on her which was followed by several of the other Villagers including her grand parents, as their Human memories and minds faded away for Loyality to Peacharunt.
Their Fates as it's loyal Servants now sealed in the Process.
"Prefect, Soon just a little more time and the Masks would be mine! Mi-"
"Wait, Someone's missing? Where are they!?" Said Peacharunt as it then realized it's army is missing someone and unlike it's newest minions,
She eaten the Mochi earlier then the two foreigners, yet she's nowhere to be seen…. Like she's officially nowhere present despite logically being the same as them… now a loyal servant to it.
"Alright! Where is she!" Said Peacharunt as it soon flew off to find it's lost servant as it left Carmine and her Grandparents as it's main guards to watch it's army while it watched over her.

Meanwhile, On the Top of Oni Mountain, Near the Crystal Pool:
It all happened like a Blur for Nemona just after she eaten the strange Mochi, But somehow, she's still herself as she was know challenging every Pokemon she come across….
"Yes, Let's do this! Let's keep it up!" Said Nemona as her eyes remained normal (abit with some Purple Contact Lens) as her new Hakamo-o defeated the Swarm of Yamma, Slugmas, Duskulls and
Which it soon became a Kommo-o afterwards with a Milotic added to her team as well.
While others succumb to the Mochi and lost their souls to Peacharunt, All it did for Nemona was now giving her love for battle higher prority instead…
Which during the Process, Nemona decided to wear some new purple Contacts Juliana gotten for her before she, Arven and Penny left (That she putted on before she left to get the Snacks)
Somehow, Despite a voice trying to tell it to do what she be doing as Nemona ignored it in favor for her battle cravings, Her Stomach surprisngly not posioned by the Mochi but rather tasting normal for her.
'Man! I could keep this up! Maybe I'll give Juliana a truly challenging fight at this rate!' Thought Nemona to herself as the Small Peacha Like Pokemon soon founded her as spoke it's words.
"Come with me… Come with me…. Come with the Mochi…Mochi will give new battles for you as well…" Said Peacharunt, hoping it'll finally bring it's final Servant down with it to end Orgepon and her new Companion as well.
However, To Nemona, She doesn't see her new master controlling her but a new foe she wants to battle instead.
'Well, If it means more battles, I'm up for it…' Nemona thought to herself while a plan was forming in her mind to battle the strange creature instead... No doubt her amplfied desires are a major factor right now for her.
"Mochi Mochi Mochi!" Said Nemona as she looked to Peacharunt, Faking the Chicken dancing (And fooling the Peacha Pokemon whom failed to notice Nemona's soul was still present in her body unlike the Blond Boy and the Muti haired Girl it recently got as well)
'Good… Now the Revenge can happen…' Peacharunt thought to herself then led Nemona down to Loyality Plaza, Which she faked the Chicken Dance as well.
'Now my revenge is for certain…. Kiss your lifes farewell Orgepon!' Thought Peacharunt as it smirked to itself as now it's revenge is certain and the Masks would be it for sure…
However, Unknown to Peacharunt, It has just made the biggest mistake that would be it's downfall as he lead his newest minion down, unaware that she's not even under his control as well, As not only is Nemona already thinking of fighting Juliana…
But it as well…..

Some time later, Loyality Plaza, After Kieran stayed behind to fight the possessed villagers, Arven and Penny:
'Come on Nemona, Snap out of it!' Pled Juliana mentally as she looked back to her friend whom was doing the Chicken as She and Orgepon looked back to She and her new milotic.
Juliana was hoping that Nemona didn't get effected but her hopes are dashed right now…
But she knew with Kieran holding the Line, She needs to beat Nemona and end the little devil as well.
"Scared? Are you?" Taunted Peacharunt as it sneered back to Juliana and Orgepon, the Latter scrowling back at it as the Former let out a laught at the two girls.
"Now… Attack my Minion! Kill the brat and get the masks back now!" Said Peacharunt as it turned to Nemona, Whom was still doing it's twisted dance until:
"Moc-ltic! Use Hydro Pump now!"
To the Surprise of everyone, Nemona's Milotic then fired a Hydro Pump onto Peacharunt as the Posion Peach Pokemon quickly getting soaked with a geyser of water
"WHAT!?" was it's response much to this sudden as it's 'Minion's' Betrayal as it glared back to her as Nemona dropped the Chicken dancing as well.
However, Juliana was also shocked at this Nemona smiled back to her friend.
"Sorry about that Juliana but I just wanted to have a Battle with you at least… Besides, I'm on a sugar buzz right now…." She said in her Usual Nemona tone as she looked back to her best friend whom was still processing what has just happened.
Juliana remain slient at this, Half relief Nemona wasn't under the Control of Peacharunt but also half astonished at what she has done as well.
"Well, Let's just focus on teaching this little bastard a lesson for what he did to Arven and Penny First." Juliana answered back as Nemona nodded in agreement.
"Sure, We'll settle this battle later but I'm just eager to fight this little guy at least!" She said as she drew her Pokeballs out at this.
"GRRRRR! You'll pay for th-Ack!" Scrowled Peacharunt whom was interrupted by Juliana's Tinkaton smacking it with a Skitter Smack attack as her trainer has sent her out with her Skeldirege to aid Orgepon as Nemona did the same with her Meowscarda and Orthworm to aid her Milotic.
"Don't think you'll get away form harming Arven and Penny you little Bastard…" Snarled Juliana as she intend to make this thing pay for what it did to her friends (Arven Especially),
"Skelidrege, Shadow Ball, NOW!"
Juliana's Starter quickly nodded back as it quickly fired a Shadow ball which Peacharunt attempt to feed it's posion mochi into it…
Unaware Nemona commanded Meowscarda to quickly night slash it and knock it aside, As the posion Peach Pokemon was treated to a Shadow ball…
Once it got back up, Peacharunt tries to fire it's toxic chains onto Juliana and Nemona, But their Steel types quickly blocked it with Orthworm firing a Flash Canon at it before Tinkaton slammed it's hammer onto it, Knocking it to Orgepon whom smirked back as she slammed her Ivy Crugdel at it, Sending it flying in the Process.
"Ice Beam Milotic!" Said Nemona as her new Capture uses it's ice beam to freeze Peacharunt solid.
"Alright Juliana! Capture time!" Said Nemona as Juliana nodded back to her Friend, Ready to capture the Devil whom controlled Arven and Penny.
Juliana then grabbed her Master Ball, And Threw it directly at Peacharunt whom was unable to dodge it as it began to pull it inside the Strongest Pokeball in existance.
"No! NO! NOOOOOOOOO!" It Screamed as Peacharunt was soon sucked into the Master Ball, Sealed away for it's misdeeds as the Ball shock three times, which clicks and sealed the Posion Peach's fate in the Process.
Which most of it's unchained Victims soon return to normal in the Process as well, Much to Kieran's relief as Arven and Penny fainted shortly afterwards.
'Thank Arceus this is all over…' Said Juliana to herself as she picked up the Master Ball containing the Little Devil whom nearly turned most of her friends against her as Nemona did some light stretching as what little effects the Mochi have on her is finally fading away, Her eyes still purple due to her Contacts.
"MAN THAT WAS GREAT!" She said to Juliana as she hugged her Friend as Juliana felt a sense of Relief as the nightmare was now over.
"Well I rather not say Great but moreso happy we're able to beat it at least…" Said Juliana as she turned to Nemona with a Confused look on her face.
"So you're really not Brainwashed Nemona? Are you telling the truth?" Juliana questioned as Nemona nodded in agreement.
"Well, The most I felt was wanting to battle more but that's it… The Mochi tasted really good but all I got was a Sugar Buzz… no desire to really dance at all…" Nemona admitted with a shrug. "But we should get that Peacharunt to La Prima at least, She could seal it up at least so it won't try to cause more problems…"
"I Suppose… I rather not let it loose after what it did to Arven at least…" Said Juliana as she smiled back to her Friend whom did the same, Hopeful Arven and Penny would be back to normal soon as Orgepon nodded in agreement.
Soon, Kieran rushed up the stairs to the Plaza, Tired but slightly relief as he rushed towards Juliana with his Poliwrath and Incineroar carrying Arven and Penny as well.
"Hey Juliana, Good news, The Village stopped acting crazy, And I think Arven and Penny should be ok n-"
Kieran can only remain in slience as he looked back to Nemona whom despite acting weird earlier, was now fine abit with the weird purple eyes as well,
"Eh… Hi?" Said Nemona as she turned to Kieran whom was already thinking what has just happened, his mind already unable to process how Nemona is still normal despite eating the poisoned Mochi that got his sister and his whole village.
Kieran's only response (And all the stress form the battle he has to do against his own Village, Arven and Penny) was to faint out of exhaustion as Juliana let out a sigh at this.
"Eh… Let's just get the Village, Arven and Penny back home first Nemona…." Said Juliana as she sent out both Koraidon and her Salamence to help Kieran. "And then explain things when he and the others are awake."
"And change the Contacts later at least, I think I had enough purple colouring for today at least…"
"Sure!" Said Nemona as she sent out her other Pokemon to help carry the Villagers down back to Mossu Town, Especially with this Mochi Nightmare now over….
The Rest of the Night is them taking the Villagers, Arven and Penny down (With the Nurse Joy of Mossu Town (Whom just woken up form all the Ruckus caused by the Mayhem also helping as well)

The Next Morning:
"So that what happened…" Said Penny the next morning as she and Arven looked back to Juliana and Nemona, Purple eyes gone form their pupils and back to normal as well.
"Yup, It's true sadly…."Said Juliana as she looked back to Penny with a sign form her mouth. "But good news, Nemona's somehow immune to the Mind Control and helped me stop Peacharunt and I caught it in the Master Ball Clavel gave me as well."
"Well, I suppose having an Iron Stomach helps at least…." Said Nemona with a small Chuckle as her belly was interestingly surprisingly immune (Or at least tolerant) to a lot of stuff that gave People Stomach aches (Like her own cooking being rumored to be the reason for it)
"Well, You're known for eating some pretty strange stuff at least, Especially that Terayaki Ice Cream with Hot Sauce and unriped Grepa berries on the side she had once when Juliana was in the Blueberry Academy…" Penny snarked back to Nemona whom just smiled back to her, No doubt both her weird sense of taste and surprisingly strong stomach helped turned the tides in Juliana's Favor as well.
"But I suppose it helped save us at least.. so I suppose we can let it slide for today at least…" She admitted with a sigh, no doubt Nemona's Ability may now be Immunity or at least some variant of Poison protection.
"…Well Let's just try to forget this ok… I rather not live with the fact I was almost stuck as a Pokemon saying Mochi by that thin-" Arven added on before Juliana suddenly ran towards him and gave him a hug.
"But Thank Arceus you're ok Arven…." Said Juliana as she hugged him tightly the next morning as the Twisted Purple eyes, Chicken Dancing and the Mochi sayings are still fresh in her mind… So it's was a sight for her sore eyes to see him back to normal as well.
"…Thanks Juliana…" He said as he blushed form the hug with Juliana doing the same as well.
"So that's thing's been sent to the Paldea League for safekeeping?" Arven questioned in concern as Juliana nodded back in agreement, No doubt talking about Peacharunt.
"Don't worry, it is…" She said back to Arven. "Geeta's agreed to keep it in it's Pokeball in a Max Security Safe at least… I sent it to her before you and Penny woke up at least.
Arven felt a sense of relief as for all of Geeta's Flaws, She's obviously not going to let such a twisted Pokemon out when it nearly caused a huge problem in another region, so hopefully it'll be like that as well and the Damn Peacha Pokemon stays sealed in the Pokeball as well.
"Well that's great and all, But what about Carmine?" Said Penny as she pointed to Kieran's house, To the Figure acting like a Torchic in the distance.
She, Juliana, Arven and Nemona then looked back to Kieran whom was still depressed at the recent turn of events as Carmine was unfortunately still corrupted with their Grandparents still in bed form the events before.
"Mochi! Mochi Mochi!" Clucked Carmine as she pecked the Ground with her Toxic Chain now a part of her as she waved her arms like a Torchic, No doubt the Chain means she's now Loyal to Peacharunt like the Loyal Three are and her Human mind may be lost forever….
Juliana felt a sense of sadness as she looked back to Carmine as she started pecking the ground and clucking like a Torchic as no doubt she eaten the Mochi earlier before any of them and was like that for a while…
Even if the events of what happened with Orgepon and Kieran's sanity slippage was a mixture of multiple things (Carmine especially whom objected to telling Kieran despite Juliana wanting to do so), She knew Carmine doesn't deserve this fate, Even Penny agreeing with this as she knew this could be what she and Arven could end up like this had they stayed possessed longer.
"…You think she'll be fine?" Said Arven in concern for Kieran and Carmine as Nemona then looked back to him, with a look of hopefulness.
"…Well, I actually contacted Miss Rika after Juliana contacted La Prima… And She'll come to Kitakami with a Skilled Doctor to help cure Carmine and the others at least…" Said Nemona as she looked back to her Friends as Juliana felt a sense of relief for Carmine, Just as Kieran joined in as well.
"It'll be a while before she gets there but Rika's Friend knows about Toxins so maybe there's a cure at least."
"Well that's good to hear…" Said Kieran as he felt a sense of relief, no doubt he won't have to live with the fact his sister and family would be forced to wear those hideous chains and be reduced to Pokemon as well.
"Juliana, Nemona… Thanks for the Help…" Said Kieran as he smiled back to the two, As Juliana did the same.
"Well, thanks for the help as well Kieran…." Said Juliana with a Smile. "You did great there as well…"
"Really? Thanks…" Said Kieran as he felt a sense of relief especially after his actions during his period of Jealously nearly soured things between them as friends.
In a Rare moment (Much to Penny and Arven's Relief), Nemona simply just smiled back to Kieran.
"Well, As much as I want another battle right now, We should wait for Miss Rika and the Doctor she's getting to help cure those whom have a chain on them at least…" Nemona added on with a smile. "Besides, I should check out my new Kommo-o and Milotic since I never got the chance to do so when I was under that sugar buzz.
"Sure… Once Miss Rika comes, We should help and the doctor at least…" Said Juliana with a smile. "And Nemona, Do you still have the snacks we asked you to get?"
"Yup! They're in my bag the whole time I was training Kommo-o and Milotic… So they should be fine at least." Said Nemona with a smile.
"As long as it's not Mochi, I'm fine with it…" Said Arven as Juliana placed a hand on him as he calmed down form it, Abit with the fact he and Penny may be going to end up on a No Mochi Diet for the rest of their Lives out of fear of what has happened the night before, least they end up like Carmine.
It was One night that Juliana and her Friends would rather not think about, but if there was a sliver lining at least for it…
Nemona's Iron Stomach may have tipped the odds in their favor at least.

Yeah, Nemona's Iron Stomach is a headcanon I had as of late to help cope with the whole stuff with the Mochi Mayhem Stuff at least…
Plus besides her General Personality being likely hard to mind control, I figured it'll be a Good way to justify why she's not under Peacharunt's Control and instead only just got the Amplfied desires and just did her usual things as well as faking the control by wearing contact lens as well to fool the Posion Peach Pokémon as well while using the chance to catch some new Pokemon as well.
(Nemona's Iron Stomach would be in Mermaid Legends as well but since Mochi Mayhem is adapted out due to Geeta's actions (Let's just say my Villainous take on Geeta is someone that you're going to hate as a Villain at least) It'll be mostly just be a Joke that Nemona's not exactly whom you call normal since besides her Autism (Yeah, She's Autistic in my Stories since Nemona does appear to have autistic traits at least, So yeah, Nemona's on the Weird side of things for my stories for sure at least)
So basically, While everyone fallen to Peacharunt's control the moment they ate the Mochi it made, Nemona's Iron Stomach and her general Personality made her able to resist it's control instead, which it only was able to amplify her love for battles instead of doing the Chicken Dancing like the other possessed people are, Basically it was like a Sugar buzz for her instead (and she only played along with Peacharunt, Tricking it that it was under it's control and then she back stabbed it as well)
Likewise, Apologies for the Short Peacharunt Fight (Where it didn't even get to attack), but this thing's not exactly powerful in battling so I figured having it meet it's end via both Juliana and Nemona beating it easily would be fitting at least (Don't really like that thing to say the least.. So expect bashing towards it as well)

Similarly, the whole Toxic Chain growing on People thing is basically Peacharunt making it's curse premanent in this Story like the Loyal Three (Which the longer the Person was under it's control, the less likely they'll not grow the Chain like with Carmine (Whom's permanently stuck as like this for the time being in this story) for an example)
It also reduces one's Mind into a Pokemon's Mind as well, So they're only able to act like Pokemon once the chain's on them as well (So Carmine's basically mentally a Torchic as well)
It can be cured however, Hence the line about the Doctor Rika found to come to Kitakami with her as well so don't worry about Carmine at least,
So, Let's just say that Arven and Penny dodged a bullet in this story at least, Same with Nemona since she was never under Pacharunt's Control in this Story as she only got the amplified desire effects and not the mind control at least (The Effects wore off once it was caught so there's that)
And Also, Consider this Fic somewhat Foreshadowing for Carmine in Mermaid Legends of Paldea cause since she and Kieran are Geeta's Kids in my Stories, Geeta's Actions would make you hate her in that fic, Especially given her more villainous nature there as well and I got something worse then Chicken Dancing for Carmine as well in Mermaid Legends as well.
