A tall young woman, with casually mussed, shoulder-length, dark brown hair, dark blue-gray eyes, and a flawless complexion which was very slightly olive toned; walked towards the front door of 1216 Franklin Ave., with a younger forest green eyed, mouse haired girl a few paces behind her.

The older one was the firstborn of the Loud clan Lita, who was nearly twenty-one and taught vocal techniques at the Juilliard Academy of music, also attending an art school, where she was a gifted student — She was singing along with Keifer Tomson's growling voice totally lost to the outside world. She wore a navy Aurora "Continual ascension" tee shirt, with charcoal waterproof pants, midnight blue hi-top sneakers and a blackish-gray leather jacket with aviator sunglasses. She was really quite gorgeous, and was known to flirt endlessly with many young men who attended school with her… though none had managed to secure her heart as yet.

The younger was academically gifted, so much so she'd gotten a perfect GPA and had gotten into an Ivy League school, she was in a high-profile relationship with her professor's son, and they were already in a friendly rivalry for top of the class. Lena wore a starched off-white cuffed blouse, with a black jacket, pants, and loafers, with a dark blue-and-white striped tie in a Windsor knot about her neck.

"You think that the others will be expecting us?" Lèna asked, tapping her sister on her shoulder.

Lita jumped a little, and narrowed her eyes at her younger sister "No, we agreed we'd surprise them, remember?" She asked in return, as they reached the front steps.

"Oh yeah…." Lena replied, and the two knocked at the front door simultaneously.

A young teen girl — with blackish-brown hair barely an inch longer than her oldest sister's, with lighter blue-gray eyes and peach skin with a light scattering of freckles on the bridge of her nose — looked between her two eldest siblings and asked "Lita? Lèna? When the hell did you guys get back?!" her suspicion building as her lips formed her usual sardonic grin. She wore a Condemnation: forgotten souls tee, with black torn jean shorts, and black Converses.

"A few days ago, I see you're still drop dead cynical, sis." Lita replied, offering her dry-witted, fellow metal head younger sister a knowing wink.

"You know it." Lzzy replied.

"Hey Lita!" Luna greeted her sister, walking into the hall, this was the sister who had been taught to play guitar by her twin.

"Hey younger sis, how are things between you and Sam?" She asked, and laughed as a blush suddenly suffused her sister's cheeks.

"Dudette, Sam has no idea I actually feel that way for her yet… we're just close friends is all." Luna answered, ducking her head to hide her face as the blush on it intensified.

"Ah, there are my eldest siblings." Lisa stated matter-of-factly, from the middle stair, her brown hair and eyes almost shimmering.

"How many times have you almost wrecked the house during your experiments while we've been gone?" Lèna asked, gazing pointedly at their fifth youngest sibling.

"Ummm…." Lisa averted her gaze, because the house had almost been destroyed 20 times, due to their siblings unintentionally meddling with her experiments.

"Bobby boo-boo Bear, are we going on a date tonight or Saturday?" a new voice cut the air and Lori came walking from the garage, with her cell phone glued to her ear.

Lita let out an exaggerated sigh, rolling her eyes at her second oldest younger sister "Nice to know you're still as obsessed with Bobby as ever Lori-Lou." she quipped, hoping her use of their father's pet name for the younger girl would garner her attention, which it did.

"Oh… Hey Lita and Lena, how's life been away from Royal Woods?" Her green eyes, which were a lot lighter than Lèna's, being nearly sea foam, had an expression within them which was a mix of annoyance and curiosity, whilst a half-smile was on her lips.

"LITA! LENA!" three voices chorused, before the triplets appeared, with Lyra dashing cheerfully to the side of, and looking expectantly up at her eldest sibling, her cerulean eyes glistening with joy and excitement.

Lita hoisted the toddler up onto her shoulders, causing a delighted shriek to escape the little girl "You, Lacy and Lara have grown a little since we last left you."

Their father's head poked out from the kitchen, where he appeared to be in the early stages of preparing the family's evening meal. "What's the commotion for?" His eyes widened in disbelief as they focused on the two figures standing in the main hallway. "My two oldest girls! How I've longed to be seeing you again, it saddens me that you both attend colleges so far from home." Lynn Sr. exclaimed, sniffling a little.

"Mom will be getting home soon…." Lori said, re-entering the room, with a petite, dark brunette girl on her heels — this child had olive green eyes, and already rosy, dimpled cheeks.

Lena crouched down and beckoned her petite sister forward, to her surprise, Livy ran straight into her arms.

"Lena." She murmured, holding tightly to her big sister.

"Where's Lincoln?" Lena asked, other than Luna, she was the closest to their only brother.

"At Gus's Games 'n' grub with his friends — but he should be back soon." Lori answered, she had missed her older sisters, just as much as the rest of the family.

"You two gonna tell Pop-Pop you'we back from the other side of the world?!" Livy asked, glancing between her two oldest siblings, who both exchanged a smirk, because their sister was only 5, and hadn't experienced much of the world as yet.

"They were only on the other side of the country, older sibling." Lisa corrected her slightly older sister, in her usual dry, matter-of-fact manner.

"Sigh. It is nice to see you two…" A quiet voice suddenly spoke, and they all jumped, Livy cowering behind Lèna, as their goth eight-year old sister unexpectedly popped up, as per normal.

Lzzy recovered first, grinning slyly at the younger girl "Why don't you do a recital for Lita and Lena later?" she asked, and the little goth girl suddenly became slightly uneasy.

"Sigh. Maybe — I just don't think they're any good…." Lucy answered, causing Lena to raise an eyebrow.

"Your poems are good enough to always send a shiver down my spine." She told the pre-teen, patting her reassuringly on the shoulder.

Another sigh was heard, this time coming from Lzzy, surprisingly enough. "It's a shame Larsson's not here… it sucks he has to live in Europe." She added, and suddenly her oldest sister looked sad too.

Larsson was Lita's twin brother and the two were extremely close always had been l, they both loved metal music, Lita envied her brother somewhat, because he'd had the drive to form a band, even if it was in a different country, he was well over six feet tall (which was surprising, since Lynn Sr. measured to only 5 feet 9-and a half inches).

"Yeah, because it would be astronomical for Mom and Dad to afford airline tickets to Sweden for all of you still living here at home." Lita sighed, she missed her twin a whole lot, though she regularly chatted with him on Messendger, she really missed her slightly younger brother, and when she could, planned to go to Sweden and pay him a much needed visit.

Just then another vehicle pulled up in the driveway, and Rita Loud got out, with a small black haired girl, with rather dull gray eyes following her, as well as the twins.

"Sigh… looks like Mom and that emo pretender are back…" Lucy groaned, because of their directly contrasting personalities, she and Lula almost constantly fought, and it annoyed the slightly older girl that her roommate was always taking Lucy's side in their arguments.

Lula was dressed in a black hooded sweater, with black tracksuit pants and white sneakers. She was also quite small for her age, and people sometimes mistook her for being eight, or in some cases even seven instead of nine years of age.

"Lita! Lena! What are you two doing here?" The mother greeted, smiling lovingly at two of her oldest children.

"Lita! How's the pageant scene in New York City?" Lola asked innocently, her hazel-green eyes sparkling as they landed on her oldest sister.

"Lola, I have little if any idea… you know how busy I am with work and school, I pay little if any attention to things that don't directly affect me." Lita answered the six-year old, rolling her eyes. Just then Lincoln walked up the steps, looking rather confused "Hey, What's going on?' He questioned, his cerulean eyes wide.

Lita turned a playfully mocking smile on her little brother "Nice to see you too, Scout!" She greeted, with a roguish twinkle in her eyes, causing the white-haired boy to get further confused "Scout there's only two people who ever call me that my big brother, and…" suddenly the realization dawned upon him, and he pulled his two oldest sisters into a hug "Lita!; Lena!, When did the two of you get in?'

"Earlier this afternoon, while you had a blast with Clyde and the others, how are they anyhow?" His eldest sibling replied.

The pre-teen grinned "They're all doing well… though I'm sad because Ronnie-Anne is moving away at the top of next month — but there's a new girl at school who I already like quite a bit."

After the family had consumed the meal, Leni slipped a look to her oldest sister "Lita, are you totes staying here?"

A second later, everyone's eyes fell on the young woman who shook her head "Nah, I just stopped in to say hey, I have a pricey motel suite in Poelk Harbor."

At this, her parents and siblings were thoroughly disappointed, they wanted to spend more time with her.

"I'll take you all to DairyLand tomorrow, how about that?" She asked, hoping to cheer up her horde of siblings.

A wave of excitement coursed throughout the multitude of siblings, and they all nodded enthusiastically.

As soon as she was in her motel room, Lita heard her cell buzz with a notification from the chat-app she used to stay in contact with her closest sibling:…
