BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*
Within the sheets of a bed, a figure worms and weakly stirs. Soon, something reaches out, revealing it to be a tentacle, no doubt from the figure, who begins trying to press the snooze function on the alarm. After a few lazy attempts, the figure thrusts the sheets off of itself, revealing itself to be a giant pacific octopus.
The cephalopod, now rudely awakened, grabs the alarm and shuts the alarm. Now that the alarm has stopped, the cephalopod reverts back to his original form: a human with blue highlighted dreads and brown eyes.
"Not how I thought this morning would start." Seth, a newcomer to the Magical World, groggily voiced aloud. Seth turned into an average housecat to stretch himself better while also waking him up. Once that was settled, he reverted back to his human self and hopped off the bed.
Now a bright eyed Seth made his way to his mini-fridge, provided by the benefactor of the dorm, and pulled out two Eggo Belgian waffles. Placing them in a toaster, Seth got out a bottle of Sunny D. With a ding to signal the waffles are done, Seth grabbed them, placed them on a napkin, then had his breakfast while scrolling through his phone.
Relatively twenty minutes later, he finished and went to brush his teeth and his facial routine. Making sure he was looking fresh and reformed, Seth looked at the time, which said 8:30.
"About thirty minutes to spare," Seth mused before doing some push-ups. He did a short workout before leaving his room. The door slid open and Seth looked both ways. He was about to leave when three blurs passed by him. One was short and red, another blue and white, and the last green with white.
"Hey, Seth!" A familiar voice shouted. The voice in particular belongs to a Hispanic boy with black hair. He had a green spandex, walking barefoot.
"Hey, Reptil." Seth greeted him with a smile. "Off to class?"
"You bet!" Reptil said, "Up for a race?"
Seth grinned, "You don't have to ask." Reptil matched the grin with a smirk before gaining velociraptor legs and sprinting ahead. Seth crouched to the floor, in a runner's position before taking off in the form of a cheetah.
Karen Fields AKA Voyd from 'The Incredibles 2' was exiting her room when Reptil passed by. "Reptil!" She shouted at the prehistoric boy.
"Sorry, Voyd!" Reptil called out. The super sighed just as Seth came speeding by. "Seth!?"
Seth saw he was losing and decided to change it up. Halfway, he turned into a kangaroo, giving him high before turning into a peregrine falcon. Now in the air, he had more room and began flapping his wings.
However, this facility also had aerial rooms. As a falcon, Seth dodged some fliers, notably mutants or superheroes. Seth was quick witted, weaving his way through the crowd and his enhanced eyesight allowed him to see Reptil, who just passed by Maya Lopez and Kate Bishop from 'Hawkeye.'
Seth saw he was losing then decided to shift it into gear. Flapping his wings harder, he began to gain on Reptil. Still weaving through other flying students, Seth rebounded as a gecko, a capuchin monkey, an ape, a snake, and a sugar glider before reverting back to his peregrine falcon.
Reptil was almost there just as Seth came diving down as his falcon and morphed into a house cat -landing feet first- then took off as a cheetah once more and entered the room first.
"Ha! Beat you!" Seth triumphantly said after transforming back into a human.
"Oh come on!" Reptil partially whined, "I thought we agreed on the rules that we only use land creatures."
"I don't remember any rules for the race." Seth declared. "We've done this about… 4 times now."
Reptil was about to retort before pausing, "Oh yeah. I guess we never had."
"Well, I'm sure that woke you up." Sam Wilson AKA the former Falcon and current Captain America confirmed as he flew down. "Nothing like a jog or race to get your day started. Even if you have superpowers." Both recruits nodded in agreement. "Now then, join the others in line while the others show up." The aerialist gestured to the line of heroes (more of the newer faces of the MCU, some mutants, and veteran heroes) and some villains/anti-heroes such as Namor, Red Guardian, Ghost, and US Agent.
The two young heroes nodded and joined in line. A few minutes later, the class began with an opening statement from Mirage from 'The Incredibles'. "Welcome, everyone. You are all here because you want to be the best version of yourselves. Whether it's learning to use your powers, hone your powers if you had a recent appearance or for a future film, or wanting to be a hero. We have collaborated with other training facilities such as the Xavier Institute and Strange Academy for the magic users. However, that doesn't mean you are any less. This is all a learning opportunity. So for that we welcome you to Avengers Campus. Hope you survive the experience."
When the statement concluded, Sam took center. "Alright, future heroes! Let's see what you are made of!"

Seth weaves through an obstacle course, taking the form of various animals to take advantage of the situation. Quicksilver and Speed from Marvel comics pass him easily.
Adam Davenport from 'Lab Rats' lifts a one ton titanium block while Jennifer Walter AKA She-Hulk effortlessly lifts three tons of pure titanium blocks. The superpowered lawyer flexes her muscles as the bionic teen looks surprised.
Moon Knight, under the guise of Marc Spector, combats Shang Chi on a log, dodging various incoming objects. The Egyptian vigilante used his crescent blades while the martial artist used the Ten Rings. Right next to them, Shuri weaved out of the way of Maya Lopez's kick.
Sersi from 'Eternals' presses her hands to the ground, using her gift of transmutation to turn the floor into quicksand then sharp stone spires.
Bobby Drake AKA Iceman skates by, using his ice powers to freeze incoming claws from grabbing him. Piotr Rasputin AKA Colossus donned his metallic skin, enduring rapid-fire from turrets. Kitty Pryde AKA Shadowcat phased through some robotic arms that were trying to grab her.
Ava Starr AKA Ghost phased through a Life Model Decoy and delivered a punch to the drone. John Walker brought his replica shield down then threw an uppercut towards his own Life Model Decoy opponent.
In the training pool, Seth's giant squid lashed out, trying to snag Namor in his grasp. Seeing how his arms weren't doing much, Seth opted for an underwater morph capable of combat which was an orca. The underwater ruler used his vibranium spear to combat the shapeshifter.
Monica Rambeau and Kate Bishop used their energy blasts and trick arrows respectively to take down targets. Riri Williams AKA Ironheart flew through multiple hoops to work on her aerial mobility.
Seth and Reptil tag-teamed a juggernaut LMD, using a combination of a T-Rex and Triceratops to topple the drone.
Other heroes, mutants, inhumans, even a few extraterrestrials were training their abilities and skills to either use for the greater good or personal gains.
Around 12:30 PM, the cadets took their lunch break. There was an afternoon session but many of the cadets attended morning sessions. Right, the cadets were at the cafeteria.
Seth and Reptil had just got their hamburgers and fries before sitting with their friends, consisting of a majority of the Phase 4 MCU protagonists.
"I still don't get why you aren't vegan." She-Hulk commented.
"I mean… Why would I?" Seth replied, putting some lettuce on his burger.
"Think about it." Mr. Knight, one of the three alter ego's of Moon Knight, "You basically turn into half of those animals. You should be a vegan."
"Meat is meat." Seth defended himself, "And besides, I do eat my vegetables. Just call me an omnivore."
"What I don't understand is you not liking chocolate." Cassie Lang AKA Stature from 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' added. "It's practically the #1 flavor in the world."
"We all have our opinions about food." Seth huffed, "Now, can I eat my burger and fries in peace?"
His friends shrugged before eating and engaging in conversation. That was until the MCU Wrecking Crew decided to waltz up.
"What do we have here?" Elliot Franklin AKA Thunderball said, lugging his Asgardian wrecking ball.
"Three humans who robbed a construction worker." Seth snarked.
"Watch it, beast." Henry Camp AKA Bulldozer said and brought his fist together as his enchanted hard hat glowed.
"You three couldn't just reform like Wrecker." She-Hulk lamented.
"We kicked him out!" Brian Calusky AKA Piledriver yelled and crossed his arms.
"Last I checked, he went to Blonsky's retreat and reached enlightenment." Seth recapped, having watched 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.' "Not to mention, I'm not at all intimidated by you three. And I don't think anyone is."
"Oh yeah?" Thunderball snarled, "Why's that?"
"For starters, you literally only have powers from enchanted construction gear from New Asgard. Not like the other iterations." Seth listed. "Secondly, She-Hulk kicked your butts easily. Third, you are literally human."
Reptil morphed his head into a theropod, growling viciously. "So, is there a problem?" The dinosaur changeling asked.
The Wrecking Crew almost went pale but then decided to just bail, saying next time would be different. They walked off shortly and Reptil reverted his dinosaur visage back to human.
"I still can't believe they are trying to pick a fight." Shuri commented.
"It's embarrassing." She-Hulk said, "It's bad enough my show didn't do well with the feedback, getting mixed reactions."
"I hear you," Cassie admitted, "My debut movie with my superhero gear didn't drum up much either."
"Agreed, my debut movie wasn't exactly the best." Jane Foster AKA Mighty Thor said. "It's considered one of the worst movies of the MCU Phase 4. Practically forgettable."
"I personally enjoyed your movies," Seth muttered, though he could agree they could have been better. "Let's not dwell on that. The MCU Phase 5 is underway so new heroes and villains are appearing soon. I mean Kamala, you new movie is a few months away."
"Sure is!" Kamala Khan AKA Ms. Marvel beamed, "I can't wait to team up with THE Captain Marvel and Monica!" She almost grew starry eyes at the mention of her idol.
"Don't know how you are all connected with the whole spectrum but can't wait for your movie." Seth admitted with a smile. He then turned to some of the other heroes, "What about the rest of you?"
"Don't know yet." Shang Chi answered, sipping soda from a cup. "I haven't had any updates in my future appearances."
"Same here." Mr. Knight agreed, "Though I am hoping for a Season 2 of Moon Knight."
"Just traveling the world, seeing the sights at the moment." Shuri replied, "M'Baku is taking over Wakanda for the time being."
Seth almost shuttered at the mention of Wakanda. "Speaking of Wakanda… is it close to being rebuilt after Namor's attack?"
"Give it a few more months, rest assured." The Wakandan princess assured him. "The field trip will be good to go by then." Seth nodded and returned to his meal.
Shortly after, Seth headed to his dorm for some downtime. On his way through the hallways of the campus, he passed a bulletin board consisting of multiple fliers for different activities around Avengers Campus and Disney World.
There was one for a Science Club for Heroes featuring some of the greatest minds like Moon Girl and Mr. Fantastic. Another flier displayed
Fred from 'Big Hero 6' with a superhero geek club. Then there were a bunch for Deadpool's "Taco-Chimichanga-Burrito Party Extravaganza For Anyone Who Thinks These Three Foods Are The Greatest Things To Be Invented" with the date saying 'whenever the author feels like it.'
Seth paid zero attention to whatever the Merc with a Mouth's flier said and came across an old Power of 3 Tournament flier.
Nostalgia flowed through the Avenger-in-training's head as he remembered applying for it. He had asked Reptil as his honorary protagonist and the Carnotaurus from 'Dinosaur.' He mentally flinched as he remembered how the dinosaur, while mighty, created some conflicts. He had been too caught up in a chance to make a debut and went for power (though imagine his surprise when he discovered the dinosaur had wind powers). Had he thought about it more, Uma or a Star Wars villain would have been a great addition.
A klaxon blared and snapped Seth out of his thoughts. The shapeshifter covered his ears at the sudden alarm before She-Hulk was thrown through an opposing wall.
"Jen!" He cried and ran over, "What happened?!"
The green giantess recovered in mild pain and answered, "Well, a supervillain decided today was a good day to throw a tantrum."
Seth wasn't left any time to ponder when he heard various repulsor blasts. He whirled around and saw Ironheart and Monica dodging said repulsors from an android with a chrome paint job.
Jane Foster prepared to bring Mjölnir to strike only for the android to morph it's left hand into a replica of the mythical weapon and fire its own lightning at Jane, who braced for impact.
"Oh great," Seth groaned, "It's the Super Adaptoid."
"Why do I get the feeling it's programmed to adapt?" Miles Morales said, swinging into the fight as he passed by Seth and She-Hulk. The Earth 1610 Spider Man fired a web line, trying to tie up the android. This proved ineffective since Adaptoid flexed and snapped the webs.
"You mere simpletons! You cannot match the might that is-" the android said before its chest morphed into face. "MODOK!"
Cassie grew to her regular size and looked confused. "That doesn't look like Darren."
"I am not that buffoon who made me like a mere joke!" MODOK retorted. "He was a disgrace to my portrayal on the big screen as a mere loyal soldier! I am MODOK, Mental Organism Designed Only for-"
"Gonna stop you right there, baby face." Seth interrupted. "Are you really mad that you got portrayed so badly that you went and threw a temper tantrum? Never really occurred to me that villains watch their own appearances in movies."
Adaptoid-MODOK snarled and released a uni-beam that prompted Seth to morph into a mouse and hide under rubble. From underneath, Seth scurried through then grew into an elephant right below Adaptoid. Adaptoid gained his replica wings from Falcon as Ms. Marvel used several hardlight constructs to boost Moon Knight, Shuri, and Shang Chi.
The Avatar of Khonshu, with Marc Spector in control, brought down his staff but Adaptoid crafted Captain America's shield, defending itself. Shuri used her gauntlets, but the shield reflected the sound into her and Moon Knight. Shang Chi flipped in the air and threw 4 of his rings in the form of a whip to bring down the copying machine but a repulsor to his chest -which he survived due to his dragon armor- made the martial artist hit the ground.
"Interesting…" MODOK mused from the chest and began to make his own replicas of Moon Knight's staff, Shuri's gauntlets, the Ten Rings, and Ms. Marvel's bangle.
Seth balked at that. "Hey! I thought the Adaptoid was for the core Avengers!" He shouted.
"In normal circumstances, yes. But I found a way to replicate new ones and memorize previous powers!" MODOK triumphantly said. "Of course there are certain powers I still have yet to adapt to. Such as your shapeshifting."
Adaptoid tried his new powers, starting with using a hardlight punch straight at Miles, who was attempting to sneak up with his camouflage ability. The young arachnid crawled away before the hit landed.
Several other cadets arrived on the scene, preparing to fight. MODOK-Adaptoid turned around and grinned, "More organisms to copy."
As the power-copying android gained more new powers to deal with its opponents, Seth was quick to fly up as an eagle before wrapping around as a boa constrictor. The shapeshifter tried to squeeze only for Adaptoid to shrug him off and grab him by the tail. Swinging him around, the android released him into rubble.
Adaptoid was busy gloating to not notice Reptil with an ankylosaur tail pouncing on him. The tail slammed the android into a wall before several energy beams were poured onto it.
Reptil landed and got to Seth, who just recovered quickly. "Are you ok, amigo?"
"I will be…" Seth groaned, "Once MODOK decides Adaptoid is outdated fashion."
"MODOK? Adaptoid?" Reptil repeated. MODOK-Adaptoid managed to repel the onslaught and delivered its own uni-beam that scattered the supers. The AIM projects grabbed Cataract -the white Vision from 'WandaVision'- by the throat before the white copy phased away.
"MODOK is throwing a tantrum after his debut on the big screen." Seth replied. "And with Adaptoid, he's coming powers after powers."
"Then we got to hit him hard!" Reptil proclaimed and grew claws to the form of a Therizinosaurus. The holder of the Fossil Gem prepared to cut him down but Adaptoid crafted America's shield, successfully blocking the attack before a meaty backhand sent Reptil flying.
Seth grit his teeth as he watched his friends not fare well against the AIM project. He began to think about a way to counter the AIM projects. Thinking about it, he knew being unpredictable could work but that would require everyone not being predictable. But then there was another thing that he was sure Adaptoid couldn't adapt to.
MODOK-Adaptoid had just conducted He-Lectrix's lightning to its own and released it at Brick and Screech from 'The Incredibles 2.' "Such futile attempts! All you are doing is making me stronger! You heroes are nothing but disappointments!"
"Then how's this!"
MODOK-Adaptoid whirled around and was met with an apparition of a bull which slammed into him.
Seth smirked, holding his Keyblade: Zoology. The Keyblade looked as if it was carved from the Tree of Life at the Animal Kingdom with a keychain that contained a miniature elephant figurine since that was his favorite animal.
Seth twirled it around and summoned a mighty pride of big cats with a tiger, a jaguar, a cougar, a leopard, a cheetah, a panther, and a lion. "There's also something else you can't copy, MODOK!" Seth taunted and held his Keyblade, "Magic! Get 'em!"
The big cats ran in while MODOK-Adaptoid threw several hard light constructs as shields but the spiritual cats avoided each of them. MODOK threw out the replica Ten Rings threw them out by the double and destroyed the leopard apparition.
Avenging their fellow feline, the tiger pounced on the Adaptoid, clawing the android. The next one was the cheetah, followed by the panther, cougar, and jaguar. The lion jumped into the air and released a sonic roar that caused Adaptoid to block its audio receptors.
Seth sent a trio of Firaga, Blizzaga, and Thundaga that blasted into the joint-AIM projects. The ice spell temporarily froze it as the fire and electricity spells combined into a plasma-like shot that made the Adaptoid reel in pain.
MODOK-Adaptoid resumed function again just as She-Hulk gave a thunderclap, disorienting the android long enough for Shuri, Shang Chi, and Ironheart to deliver another triple blast from their respective weapons.
Cassie Lang, having run up in her small form, delivered a hard uppercut as she grew to normal size.
Adaptoid stumbled vaguely and snarled. "You numbskulls think you have the advantage over me?! MODOK?! Insolent pests! I refuse to be portrayed as a mere laughingstock to you peabrain-"
A spiritual Humpback whale came crashing down on the ranting science project and vanished before Reptil dropped next as a sauropod. The Hispanic changeling moved out, giving enough time for Mighty Thor to unleash a powerful bolt of lightning, zapping MODOK out of Adaptoid.
The force of nature left Adaptoid incapacitated and the heroes with berated breath.
"Is it down?" Ms. Marvel asked with an enlarged fist covered in hard-light.
"Not taking a chance." Seth said, "Marc, can you remove the limbs?"
"Already done." Marc Spector answered, pulling out his Crescent Blades and pried the arms and legs from the android.
Sam and some of the older heroes arrived to see the damage. "What happened here?" Sam questioned the gathered supers.
"MODOK proved he actually was a big baby." Seth explained, prompting some of the younger heroes to snicker. "But we managed to take him down. Even with the Super Adaptoid. Pretty sure getting hit with about… say a combined 100 tons and a force of lightning is enough to make it un-operational."
Sam whistled, impressed by the tactic, "Well, at least you all took it down."
Seth looked proud as he slung Zoology on his shoulder. "Yes. That we did."
Avengers Campus had to block off the holes and wrecked rooms from MODOK's tantrum, so afternoon class took place in the secondary training facility at Disney World Paris.
Seth entered his quarters, flipping on the light as he prepared to rest for the night. He showered and brushed his teeth. He got in his pjs while checking his iPhone, seeing any updates or events for the Magical World.
He got a notification about his next training day which would be canceled until further notice after MODOK's attack. Of course, thanks to the mystic arts, Disney World Paris had the campus as well and had their own field for the cadets.
But Seth decided to go on some adventures in the Magical World tomorrow. He planned to head over to Disney World for a while and get out of his quarters.
He couldn't wait to see what the Magical World had in store.

This was inspired by 'TheDragonSaver's' "Magical World" series. A really great series for any Disney fans out there. After reading the saga, I was heavily invested. In 'The Dream Keepers Chronicles' I got the chance to submit my OC for a tournament which got accepted (thank you again, DragonSaver if you are reading this.) And after reading Logan and Toren's spinoffs, I wanted to give it a whirl of my own.
