Chapter 8: The Dream Eater, Bakumon

Sora was at the entrance of EDEN, one of the jobs was to look for something that was somewere near the building. It certanly was going to be hard! But Sora wasn't going to give up!

The keyblade master looked around, and saw both Nokia and Rena. It looked like Rena was teaching Nokia, who looked confused. But the keybearer still needed to do his current case, yet, his digivice began to beep.

So, he got his digivice out to see the message. It was a disturbing one.

STOP LOOKING AT ME

Sora was creeped out at the message, he was considering what to do. But all he could do was hoping his digimon partners could help out, they were also creeped out by the message.

Yet, the keyblade wielder didn't give up. "Yes, that's what happened!" said one of the clients, Sora looked at the scared girl. She was part of a club simply called The Occult Club.

The keyblade wielder did ask Takumi what it was about. The Digital teen replied the occult is mostly about ghosts and skeletons, but he said he wasn't into that stuff. Sora did remember Jack skellington at Halloween town or the Caribbean when he first went there.

There was also the Pride Lands, where he saw Simba talking to his father's ghost. Of course, in the present. Sora needed to know why this corner was the weird one. "Hey, Sora!" he heard Nokia call out.

The keybearer looked onward to see Nokia walking toward him alongside Rena. So he decided to ask them about the message he got on his Digivice, Nokia looked creeped out also.

"From he looks of it, somebody doesn't want you to find them." Rena simply told Sora. the keyblade master kept getting more confused, as this was a request from an occult club member.

But his thoughts were interrupted when he heard Kyoko asked Sora about his investigations.

"I sorry, but maybe if we wait at night..." was the occult member said before Sora got a call from his digivice. He opened the message that it was from Kyoko, who told him to get to Shibuya quick.

So the keybearer said goodbye to the others, logging out and headed to Shibuya. After hearing about Shibuya as he was in this world and remembered to meet near the 104 building.

Unfortunately, he was told the building had 206 on the building, so Sora now knows he's in a different world.

Sora entered Shibuya, and saw Takumi and the other occult members standing in the middle of the street! What was going on to his friend? But he felt something strange as others began to call them out of their world.

Somewhere else, Takumi looked around and saw some sort of alternate form of Shibuya! With the 206 building looking like it's glitching! He saw the Occult Club members stand frozen in fear!

He saw the girl who has said had died at the crossways without looking. "Terriermon? Renamon?" the teen asked at his Digivice, only to hear static noises from the other end.
What happened and where was the others? He did tell Kyoko about it.

She said she'll get Sora! But right now it'll be longer since they're probably in Limbo right now. With the Crossway girl transporting from different places, and her hand was a glowing phone.

"Time for you to join me!" The dark haired girl called out. Summoning what looked like digimon, but with tatoo as different body parts. The Occult Club screamed as the creatures lunged to kill them!

"Takumi!" the teen could faintly hear Sora's voice. But he couldn't see the keyblade master. And yet, something he could feel he was close by. Takumi tried to call out his digimon again, but still no avail.

it wasn't until a blur came by, and attacked the creatures. The blur stopped in front of them. It looked like a man with what looked like white messy hair in a businessuit.
And the Occult club were still scared stiff. Thinking that the new person is going to kill them!

But he didn't. Just stared at the girl, while the girl scowled. This guy just ruined her fun! "Go now... we have a lot to talk later!" the man said. The girl simply just gave a pout and crossed her arms.

"Fine!" she yelled as she went off. The man turned around to look at Takumi and the Occult Club, but what surprised Takumi. Was that he was looking at him.
"Now, you seem to be pretty difficult to explain." the man looked at the digital teen.

Takumi felt pretty creeped out at this man, who he just met. Even though he just met him. "However, it's not your time yet." the man said, as the area around them flickered. And showed people calling out to them. One of the easiest ones to pick out was Sora.

"I would recommend you should get out of the way." the man told him, as he disappeared. What did he mean? before he knew it they were in the Shibuya they knew again. Being pulled by Sora away from a truck honking past them!

Luckily, Takumi and the Occult Club were alright! And were out of that strange place. "Thank goodness you kids are alright!" Detective Matayoshi said, he explained that Sora and the other people saw that they were standing in the middle of the street.

And they needed to get out of the way before they were ran over.

Later at the office, they were talking about Takumi's case. Showing the same girl he saw before, should he tell them about the other place he was at? he shook his head. While Kyoko turned to Sora to ask him about the case he was doing.

So the keybearer showed them his Digivice, showing the text. It certainly intrigued both Kyoko and Takumi. and the occult club member mentioned about the things that her device being hacked at a certain corner at EDEN

So their boss stated that they should investigate at during the night.

The place sure was empty, just Sora, Takumi and one of the occult members. the robot thing didn't count. So with the help of Pete the Wanyamon, they found the corner. Sora wanted to know who was hacking, so he summoned his keyblade at the direction of the corner.

"Don't hurt me!" a kid appeared at the corner, Sora made his keyblade disappear and called the others he found the person. The Occult Club member being the most angry one who wanted the answer from the kid who hacked her account.

With some information on the kid, they heard that his program thing was going haywire or something. So Takumi informed him that they'll find out the problem and the kid gave them his url.

So, they travelled and got into the place. along with their digimons, and went around the place. All the while fighting some Heartless along the way, there were some setbacks like going to dead ends.

Which luckily in no time, they saw the kid's program... which is a digimon called Bakumon as their digivices gave them the info. And then the Bakumon began to bug out as they approached it!

So Sora summoned his keyblade, along with their digimon ready to attack the rogue digimon. who was glitching from the kid's data! And seeing how powerful the digimon is through their digivices, they digivolved their digimons (Excluding Wizardmon, who was already strong.)

Sora saw Renamon's Champion form, Kitsunemon, who went on all fours and had more tails then her rookie form, who then used the evironment alongside Sora as they attacked the Bakumon in the back.

All the while Dorugamon, assaulted it with his metal cannons. All the while Wizardmon shot a few fireballs! All the while the Bakumon had glitched from place to place. Takumi was dodging as he didn't really fight.

Gorgomon shot out his bullets, weakening the digimon. All the while as the Bakumon was weakened. Sora scanned it, as the digimon began to disappear on last time. And Sora's Digivice now showed the screen of Bakumon saying 'Scanning complete'.

After informing Kyoko, she congratulated them to inform the Occult Club member. and having a good rest afterwards.

Meanwhile, Riku was walking around EDEN. his head was throbbing a little, like he was forgetting something. what was wrong? but he forgot all that as he met a strange you girl wearing an oversized coat like a cape.
