Chapter 8: The return of Yuuko

Sora was done with a small request from a digimon who had lost something important. And had returned to the office with Kyoko and Takumi sitting in one end, all the the while. someone else was sitting at the other. Someone familiar in the name of Yuuko!

"Hey, how are you feeling today?" Sora asked the gloomy looking girl in a hesitant tone. Probably because she lied about who her father was. Only to have the girl look away from him slightly.

She explained to Kyoko about her company, like something was going on. likely something was going on the inside, and she kind of suspected her guardian. Rie Kishibe. And Yuuko wanted their help.

Even if hesitant at first, both Takumi and Sora agreed to help. But told her to promise not to lie to them again. For a second, she did agree. and told them about the opening of the Kamishiro Web and she was told to bring a few friends.

But she wasn't sure who to bring, as she was pretty lonely because she was the daughter of the company's leader. And all she could find out was Takumi and Sora! So she told them the plan to find out in EDEN.

So both Sora and Takumi agreed. Yet, Kyoko informed the two they need to be in hiding to find out the secrets. And Mirei was the person to go to as Yuuko went back to her place as she was called by someone on her device, so she left the room.

Upon entering the Digilab, Mirei welcomed both of them. "Being Cybersleuths isn't easy, as it will also require espionage." She explained, so she went to them and used her computer skills on Takumi's glove and Sora's digivice.

She told them that now, they'll become invisible to the naked eye. which Takumi nodded at the idea, since they needed to find out something about the new head of the company. "So we're basically just intruding then?" Sora asked. He still heard his mother's words of not getting into people's privacy.

Takumi just told him that it'll be quick. So the keybearer just sighed as they went to the Kamishiro website, but they still need to be careful. As they would probably be spotted by the workers.

Both of them got into the Kamishiro worksite. Workers preparing for the opening, wondering where Yuuko was. "hey… you two are here finally here." a flat female voice called out, and they saw Yuuko walking to them.

"You two are finally here." the heiress said in a flat tone, as if she was trying to be friendly. making both Takumi and Sora both confused. "What was that?" Takumi asked, wondering what Yuuko did.

The heiress explained she had help from somebody else to give her some 'tips'… which wasn't good as her voice wasn't doing it. Sora would be glad to help, but the job needed to be first.

Yuuko explained quietly that she expected for a while, how she suspects her caretaker. Rie to have something to do with her father's death. And she thinks Rie is going to do something dangerously illegal.

But she didn't have any evidence. So, she went to the Agency and asked for their help. And That they'll have to go further into the Kamishiro website, lucky that both of them went to Mirei first.

So Takumi whispered to Sora, talking about that they'll get to the website further. although Yuuko couldn't hear them. Only to have the two boys look at her, Takumi giving her a thumba up.

"There was something we forgot, got to go!" the digital teen called out, as both of them stood at the portal. and they both disappeared! making Yuuko gasp in surprise. and wonder what they're both doing.

"Don't worry, we're still here." Sora told her, not knowing where they were going. as they tried to find something while she waited, hoping to find some clues to see if Rie was planning something.

Takumi and Sora both looked around the site for clue, while a worker asked Yuuko where her friends went. They saw a lone worker minding his own business, hoping they'll find something useful.

And soon, Sora and Takumi were in the servers of the Kamishiro website! along with their digimons! Certain to find some answers for Yuuko. With files floating around, But they need to find one in another area in the place.

But they needed to be careful as they saw some digimons roaming around the server. So they had quietly sneak past them as they can. And having to fight them if they're spotted by any of the digimons.

Meanwhile with Yuuko was talking with Kyoko on how they're doing, only for them to realize that they're being listened by someone else! "Let's talk later! Sorry." yuuko apologized as she ran.

Meanwhile, along with Sora, Takumi and their digimons. They were spotted a few times by the security Digimon, luckily it was quick as their digimons digivolved to attack them quickly alongside Sora.

There was also a few Heartless, for some reason or another. But they didn't question it for now. As they needed to find the documents to find out if Yuuko's Caretaker Rie was getting ready for a full takeover.

They entered to a new place. All the while their digimons were back in their digivices not to be seen, and something was floating in place. Takumi and Sora went there and saw the files labled Plans.

Scanning the plans, both Sora and Takumi wondered what was going to happen with Yuuko if her guardian's plan was really going to take over the company? And what is it? Maybe they'll know when Kyoko looks at it in time.

Only to be interrupted by a certain wannabe rockstar's shout! And saw JimmyKEN and soke of his hacker teamates! "Oh no!" both Sora and Takumi looked in surprise at them all.

Were they followed? then how did they follow them? So Sora and Takumi summoned their digimon as Jimmyken and his followers summoned theirs (at least it wasn't Heartless this time.)

"Now, you Noobs better give us the files!" The man in black and white facepaint demanded. Only to have both Takumi and Sora digivolved some of their digimon in response! And Called out no!"

JimmyKen ordered his digimon to attack! and Sora and Takumi's digimons all went ahead. as well as Sora summoning his keyblade to keep them at bay from getting the files. All the while JimmyKen ordered the digimon on his side to attack!

With Takumi keeping back to help the field and protect the Files. The Digimon on JimmyKen's side were much stronger too! so they would be harder to fall. So they Digivolved Terriermon, Dorumon and Renamon.

Renamon's new form was now on all four legs and nine tails, now calling herself Kyuubimon. Ready to fight JimmyKen's digimons and right now they're even stronger!

as Dorugamon and Wizardmon attacked the one on their left while Sora and Kyuubimon attacked the one om their right. while Gorgomon used his bullets to attack the middle one. Only to have the KISS wannabe air guitar and made it stronger!

"Okay, he just made them stronger!" called out an annoyed Takumi, as he made a few buttons on his holographic screen. making their Digimon's defense strong to counter JimmyKen's digimons.

Sora and Kyuubimon had made their target a little weaker, as it struggled to to stand. making one of the Demon team members call off his digimon. So Kyuubimon decided to help Gorgomon, while Sora went to help out Dorugamon and Wizardmon.

The digimon on the right then began to pound the ground, making Sora and the Digimon tumble and leaving them vulnerable for a bit. and lucklily, Takumi had typed something on his holo screen.

And a holographic shield protected them. giving them time to get up! and quickly weakening the second enemy digimon. Making the other Demon Team member to call off their digimon.

JimmyKen was getting really angry at this development! he wanted to get the files really badly! Thus, he made his digimon even stronger then before. Takumi scanned it, knowing something was off.

"I see a flaw in your plan!" Takumi called out! making JimmyKen look nervous! "Of course your Digimon is Stronger, yet you forgot the defense!" this made the faux rockstar scream in terror as Sora and the digimon attack his digimon. winning the battle again.

"You troublemakers again?" Asked a familiar sighting of Yuugo appearing again. makig the Demon Hackers flee. Making sure they're gone. Takumi wanted to thank him, only to have the Zaxon Leader turn to them.

"Just get out and make sure nobody sees you." he told them. Leaving, while Takumi, Sora and their digimon left snd got out of the Kamishiro server. with file in hand as they went back to the office.

"That was a close call." Kyoko said, handing them coffee cups to Takumi and Sora. wondering what weird flavour it was this time!
