Chapter 10: Real Look
Sora, along with the help of Rena, had found a hacker who was cornered by them. Their digimon having defeated the enemy hacker's who lost. "Okay! okay! i'll change my ways!" the hacker cried.
As they approaches the exit to Kowloon, they heard a familiar voice of Nokia who was heading to them, being followed by Agumon and Gabumon shortly. Sora greeted his friend happily. While Rena just waved at them.
"Glad we could find the you and your digimon!" Nokia said, as she petted Dorumon's neck. Who was trying to not look happy at the neck petting, but failed with his tail and wings wagging.
"So, what is it Nokia?" Sora asked to the pink haired girl. Who got up to their height and smiled again, and had one thing to say. "I was wondering if all three of us could have a nice lunch together tomorrow?" she asked.
"Why are you asking me?" Rena asked, surprised that she was invited too. "I haven't met you outside of EDEN, and i wanted to hang out with you!" Nokia said, wanting to have fun with a new friend.
"And i want to thank you to help me with the hacking thing, which i'm still against." This stament made Rena laugh a bit. "Its just the simple stuff really, which Hacking is not really that simple." she explained.
"In all honesty, when i see Sora and Takumi do it. it looks really simple." the way Nokia said it, all Takumi does is make a few swipes on the holographic keyboard. and for Sora, all he did was point his keyblade at the screen.
In all honesty, both Sora and Dorumon don't know how he does that. "Sure, would be nice to join." The Keybearer said. Rena sighed, knowing that she's outnumbered. "Well, if you insist, then I'll join." she agreed. Making Nokia happy.
After Sora and Nokia's departure, Rena was just about to log out. Only to feel a presence being near her. Looking around, she saw nothing. thinking it was just another enemy hacker.
She logged out to prepare for tomorrow.
The next day, and Somewhere in Nanako, both Sora and Nokia were in front of one of the restaurants in the mall alongside Takumi. Who also wanted to meet Rena, also he was also getting hungry despite his half cyber body.
"Hey, did i keep you waiting?" they heard Rena's voice, turning to their left. They saw a young woman in a navy blue long sleeved shirt, light blue pants and dark red shoes. And a familiar looking.
What was most noticeable was her baby blue eyes and short dark brown hair. Stating herself as Rena in the real world. However, when Sora saw her, she reminded her of Kairi. And a brief vision of her tearing up flashed in his mind.
Only to see Rena in her place, giving him a look. Wondering if he was okay. "Sorry, you just reminded me of someone." Sora explained to Rena. Hoping she'll forgive him, the hacker just sighed at this.
"Can we just have some lunch?" Rena said as they went inside. with them sitting at a table, it was a sushi bar. While Sora did help Little Chef with food, it was pretty fancy. while these are simple to him.
And they were tasty! All the while the other three were just simply eating. "really, couldn't wait for me Nokia?" they heard Arata's voice say. Nokia, Sora and Takumi all turned around to see Arata giving a neutral look at them.
Both Takumi and Sora said hi to their white coated friend, who just went to Nokia's side to eat. And she felt the coldness from him! All the while, Takumi was asking Rena some questions.
"So Rena, about Leomon." The half digital teen asked her about her digimon. The hacker just looked at him, while also seeing Sora looking at Nokia and Arata's argument as the keyblade master was having seconds.
From what she said, she was alone and met a hacker who was minding his own business. Just talking and then a rogue digimon came by and almost attacked them! Only to have two digimons, her Leomon and for the other hacker, an Ogremon.
Although they should of minded their own business' the digimon decided to stay with them. And also rivals, wanting to be stronger. Promising each other the next time they meet. they'll fight again.
"That sounds really amazing!" Nokia said as she heard the story. "Hey, we're not finished arguing!" Arata called out as Sora and Takumi paid for the lunch, all the while they left to do other things.
Meanwhile, Riku was wandering in Eden. just minding his own business. and then a boy names Keisuke showed up, asking if he was a friend of Sora, the one who fights alongside his digimon.
"Yes… why do you ask?" the silver haired keyblade master answered. wondering why he would say that, and the blue coated boy wondered. "I was wondering what video game he got it from." Keisuke asked, it really reminded him of something. but he couldn't remember.
"They're not from a video game…" the Keyblade master said with his voice trailing off, not knowing what a video game was, despite being in The Grid when visiting the Dream realm. But despite it being his memory, it felt off.
Keisuke was sad, but didn't press further as he saw the confused face. Still wanting answers, the blue coated hacker was getting an irritated look from Riku. Keisuke whistled innocently as he walked away.
Riku wanted to get out of EDEN to meet Sora and his new friends, but he couldn't for some reason. was there something keeping him in? if so, riku went to a deserted area where he called home.
