Chapter 5 - Second Battle of Fairy Tail
Fairy Tail walked towards Gildarts, but they were stopped by Lucy's Group.
"What do you want?" - Master asked as he looked at the mages before them.
"Master Makar, you and the rest of the Fairy Tail Guild are under control." - Jura said without thinking.
"Yeah, sure, who told you such nonsense." - Erza replied.
"He's not wrong." - said Sho - "If you were in your right mind, you wouldn't treat your Guild members like that."
"Without exaggeration." - Natsu snorted - "He's just a weakling who replaced Lissane."
"And yet you fought against Phantom Lord for her, even when Jose planned to give her up in exchange for stopping the Jupiter attack." - Gajeel said.
"Besides, she brought me back to life." - Ur said, leaving the crowd.
"... Ur." - Gray simply said quietly. Suddenly he and the rest of the Guild screamed in pain. A moment later, everyone stood up, their eyes empty. Except for one person.
"So I was found out." - said Lissana, or rather the person who possessed Lissana - "Although a little too late. If it was, say, a week ago, you might still have a chance. But now, the strongest Guild in Fiore is under my control. By the way, my name is Helbram."
"What are you on about?" - Lucy shouted.
"Revenge and that's all you need to know." - replied Helbram in Lissana's body.
"You're trying so hard for some stupid revenge." - said Ur disgusted.
"Oh. What a coincidence that this is said by a person who suffered so much because of his students' desire for revenge. But that can be applied to half of your happy bunch. Although I can give you one chance. I have an advantage of 5 to 1. Stand aside and give me the remaining Fairy Tail men under my control and I will spare you."
"Not happening." - Lyon said.
"We will free Gray-sama and the rest of Fairy Tail." - Juvia said.
"Let's see you try." - Helbram said.
"Fire Dragon's Roar." - Natsu roared flames at the group.
"Iron Rock Wall." - Jura shouted, and a shield appeared in front of the team.
"Ice Make: Army!" Ur shouted, and a small army of knights made of ice, carrying shields and swords, appeared before them. They immediately attacked Fairy Tail, and the controlled Guild responded in kind.
"Take advantage of the fact that they are fighting ice soldiers and overpower them one by one. Stay in groups." - Ur said, forming another group of soldiers.
"Roger." - the rest shouted back as they moved to attack.
Sho, Wally, and Millian's group fell into chaos and found the first group of opponents. Thunder God Tribe. Seeing that they were temporarily busy, they decided to take advantage of it. Wally quickly shot down Bickslow's flying dolls, while Milliana used the Nekōsoku Tube to bind him and leave him on the ground.
Fired tried to attack Milliane, but was blocked by an ice soldier. Then another attacked him from behind, which he blocked again. But Sho took his chance and trapped him inside the card.
Evergreen fired Fairy Machine Gun: Leprechaun at Milliane, hitting her. But just as she was about to finish off Millaina, another ice knight jumped in front of her and took the attack on herself. Wally then fired a salvo and hit Evergreen several times. Weakened, she was easily caught by Sho.
Elsewhere, Yuka and Toby had just defeated some mages when they faced Reedus. He quickly drew Cannon and the bullet fired towards the duo. But Toby blocked the attack with his wave, while Toby used his claws to paralyze Reedus.
A little ways away, Wakaba and Makao had just defeated about 20 ice soldiers, but more quickly appeared and attacked them. They took it upon themselves to fight them, and then Ichiya used the Thunder Perfume to knock them out.
Lyon and Sherry ran into the fight and saw Gray alone fighting a group of ice soldiers. Lyon quickly attacked using his 'Ice-Make: Eagle' and Gray lay on the ground unconscious.
"Wasn't that too…easy?" - Sherry asked.
"It was." - Lyon said, walking up to Gray and freezing him in place - "Gray didn't fight like him. This magic must have deprived them of their senses, but not their strength."
"Heh?"
"They attack automatically, do not pay attention to their surroundings, and do not support each other. They will behave no better than puppets without free will. Which means we can defeat them relatively easily."
"Dammit." - Helbram said, watching the fight. His puppets fell one by one. Within 10 minutes he had already lost 1/3 of all his puppets. If only it weren't for all those ice soldiers, they could have taken them out.
"You, deal with Ur." - Helbram said, pointing at Makarov.
Ur started to get tired. Creating this many ice soldiers wasn't easy. But the tactics worked and they should have won it in the next 30 minutes. But then one of Fairy Tail's mages, Master Makarov if she remembered correctly, grew to a huge size and started walking towards her. Ur quickly switched from creating ice soldiers to fighting and charged at the giant. The sooner she defeats him, the sooner she will return to creating ice soldiers.
First, she attacked him with lances, but the giant got hit with it without blinking an eye and counterattacked with a punch. Ur quickly created an ice wall to block it. However, Makarov persisted and smashed him with another punch. Ur got hit by some shrapnel, but it was just scratches.
Hibiki, Ren, and Ewe saw that the number of ice soldiers was starting to decrease, so they decided to change their tactics and join up with the others. On the way, they ran into Bisce and Alsac, who immediately opened fire on them. Ren used his magic to block them, then Ewe used his magic to blind them, and finally, Hibiki knocked them out.
Gajeel quickly knocked out Laki with his punch, but the fight slowly wore him down. More and more mages began to rush at them, and without the ice soldiers serving as a distraction, he couldn't catch his breath.
Unfortunately for him, Jet took advantage of this and hit him in the head. Droy then sent an attack at him, but Lily blocked it using one of the ice swords lying on the ground. Last was Levy, but using fire, while Juvia shielded and countered it, then caught her in a Water Lock.
Jet tried to attack him again, but Gajeel prepared himself by turning his skin to metal. He managed to catch Jet and threw him into the air, with Juvia trapping him as well. Last, Droy continued to attack, but Lili blocked him. Gajeel decided to end it quickly and stabbed the Iron Dragon's Club into Droy's stomach, quickly knocking him unconscious.
Meanwhile, Jura knocked down another group of mages. But the newest one, Mirajane, was actually giving him problems. Her Take Over magic was simple but effective. She used it to take over 'Satan Soul: Halphas' and fight it. It was a tough fight, but Jura slowly gained the advantage. Despite this, he took quite a large amount of damage.
"Eventually, they start to fade." - Helbram said with satisfaction when he saw the tired mages fighting against him. 2 have already been knocked out and the rest will be with them soon. Still, they had already eliminated over half of his mages.
Suddenly he saw something in the sky. After taking a closer look, he recognized a white Exceeder and a man in a coat. After a moment, Helbram realized who it was and only what he said - "Fuck."
"Maybe you'll give up now, Helbram." - Lucy said, approaching the fight with Wendy and Tauros. Behind them lay a defeated Cana - "Most of the Guild men you control have been incapacitated, and Gildarts is closing in. You have no chance. Spare yourself and us the suffering and just give up."
"Give up?" - Helbram repeated and started laughing maniacally. The fact that he was doing it in Lissana's body was even more terrifying.
"There's no turning back for me!" - shouted Helbram - "It's do or die."
"Luuucy-sama, he's right." - said Tauros - "There must be a punishment for breaking the Taboo. What he did is undoubtedly wrong, and unlike Loke, there is no one who could stand up for him or even have any chance of getting a lighter sentence. He has gone too far."
"Now that we understand each other." - Helbram said and suddenly Natsu and Erza attacked. Wendy tried to counter Natsu's roar and barely succeeded. But Taurus was no match for Erza, who attacked with a spear from her Giant Armor.
Lucy immediately took out her key and decided that she would have to try a new trick against Erza - "Open, Gate of the Guardian Lion! Leo!"
Leo appeared in front of Lucy, but instead of a suit he was wearing armor, and in his hand was a long sword. He immediately attacked Erze, who switched to Armadura Fairy and blocked Loke's attack. Meanwhile, Natsu tried to approach Wendy, but the clever girl increased her speed, making her easily avoid him. At the same time, Helbram still did nothing.
Lucy decided to take advantage of this and grabbed Natsu with her whip, which allowed Wendy to attack him. Natsu flew straight into the trees.
Helbram in Lissana took advantage of Lucy's moment of inattention to attack Wendy, and the young Dragon Slayer was knocked down by a large purple rabbit. Lucy barely had a chance to react before Helbram changed again, but this time he looked like Lissana, but in a catsuit. Lucy quickly used her whip to keep him/her at bay.
At the same time, Leo continued to fight Erza, but it was apparently even. Even though Erza was not using her armor in this state, and Loke himself was much stronger than normal, a stalemate still occurred.
After they broke apart for a moment, Loke saw Wendy fall and Lucy desperately defending herself against Helbram in Lissana's body. He had to finish this quickly.
So when Eraz changed her armor to Black Wing Armor and attacked, Loke decided to take advantage of it. Instead of blocking, he merely lowered the blow enough so that it wouldn't immediately send him back to the spirit world, holding the sword with one hand. This created an opening for him and he sent all of his power into one Regulus Impact, which hit Erza in the face. It sent her flying away, and Loke hoped it stunned her as well. Normally he wouldn't have this hope, but in her current puppet-like state, she wasn't using her brain or will.
Lucy wasn't doing so well. Her whip allowed her to keep Helbram in Lissana's body at a distance, but still, Lucy couldn't afford even a second of distraction, because Lissana would engage in hand-to-hand combat and the outcome of this fight was rather obvious.
Helbram turned into a large rabbit again and jumped at Lucy. She immediately dodged and barely avoided the attack. Unfortunately, she landed on her stomach and didn't have time to avoid the next one.
Fortunately, Loke arrived at the last second and took Lucy away from the blast. Unfortunately, due to his injuries, he could no longer support himself and disappeared into the spirit world.
"Looks like I'll at least get rid of you." - Helbram said.
Lucy quickly looked around and saw a small puddle of water. Probably from the ice soldier, but she won't complain. She quickly pulled out the key and shouted - "Open the Gate of the Guardian Water Bearer! Aquarius!"
And so Aquarius appeared, but instead of an urn, she had a trident, and her body was covered in armor.
"How dare you bring me up during my date!" - Aquarius shouted and immediately fired a stream of water on Helbram, which quickly surrounded him.
Lucy took this opportunity and quickly chanted - "Lost Magic: Celestial Fairy Purifications."
A golden beam of light quickly shot out at Lissane and she immediately returned to her normal form. Behind her, a Celestial spirit of Azure Dragon, Qing Long, appeared. Aquarius quickly released Lissane and prepared to fight.
"Bitch, you're already dead!" - Helbram shouted and breathed blue fire towards Lucy. Aqurias quickly raised her water shield, but the fire simply surrounded her.
"Lucy, do you trust me?" - Aquarius asked suddenly.
"Of course I trust you." - Lucy replied quickly.
"So hold on." - and so Aquarius gave up her defense and surrounded Lucy with a ball of water, pushing her back. But she herself was burned and sent back to the spirit world.
Lucy barely recovered before she was attacked by Helbram again. This time the attack was blocked by Juvi and Gajeel's combined attack. Helbram stopped his attack and flew into the air, gathering magic.
"Think of something quick, Bunny Girl. Because we might not make it another minute." - Gajeel said.
"Right." - Lucy said. She immediately knelt down took the white key and began the incantation - "By Andromeda, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, and Orion. For the sake of the coming Autumn, show your true form and lend me your power. White Tiger of the West, Bai Hu."
A huge portal opened above Lucy, revealing a dragon-sized white tiger, which immediately roared straight at the dragon, forcing it to stop its incantation. Seconds later, the Tiger started running through the air and tried to slash at him with its shiny paw. The dragon dodged and counterattacked with its tail, which hit the tiger in the head and threw it several dozen meters away.
The tiger stopped in the air as if on the ground and prepared to roar again. The dragon did the same and the two met in the middle, creating a shockwave that could be felt on the ground. Fortunately, Ur formed an ice wall to shield everyone from the shockwave. Well, everyone except Natsu and Erza, were lying on the other side of the battlefield.
"This is a real clash of the titans." - Jura said in disbelief.
"I didn't know Lucy had such a powerful key." - Lily said.
"From what she told me, it's actually on borrowed time, and most of the magic needed to maintain it comes from her new friends." - said Ur.
"Do you know these new friends?" - Gajeel asked.
"No." - said Ur - "But the girl has secrets that she can't share yet. Maybe this will change in the future."
In the sky, the fight between the tiger and the dragon was even at the beginning. But over time it became obvious that the tiger had the advantage. Although Helbram wanted to win, it was not his real body and the tiger boldly took advantage of it. After a few minutes, the dragon fell on the ground and the tiger hovered over it. A moment later, a small purple light emerged from the dragon. Then he and the tiger disappeared, and the white key Lucy had also disappeared.
Lucy then lost consciousness.
