"Vikings! That's so cool!" Uraraka said.
"Yeah, I've only heard about them in stories," Midoriya said.
"Wait, there's stories about us," Snotlout said, "Awesome!"
"There are many," Momo said, "However none of our areas of study focus on the matter. I'm afraid we can only give you our limited general knowledge."
"They better tell all of my heroic tales," Snotlout said.
"Like what?" Astrid said.
"I-I haven't done them yet!"
"Sorry about our bickering," Hiccup said, "We've been friends for a long time."
"Not to worry, our class can get rowdy at times as well. I am Tenya Iida, the class representative," A kid with navy blue hair said.
"Nice to meet you Tenya-"
"I must ask that you call us by our last names. That is what is customary in our culture."
"Sorry, Iida. I'm Hiccup."
"Wait, your name is seriously 'Hiccup'?" Kaminari said.
"Kaminari, that's rude," Kirishima said. It was rude, but they were all thinking that 'Hiccup' is an odd name no matter what the time period was.
"Don't worry, I get it all the time," He said, which wasn't technically the truth, he was a 'hiccup' after all, but people did make fun of his name on the regular.
"What were those abilities you guys were using to fly?" A heavier set boy asked, coming to Hiccups side, "I've never seen anything like it."
"They're called quirks," The green haired Midoriya responded, "Most people where we come from are born with them."
"Cool!? Can everyone fly then?"
"No, each quirk is different, and not all are flying based but with nonflying based quirks like Endeavours or Kaachan's they can fly."
Fishlegs eyes lit up as Deku continued his explanation on quirks.
"Once you get him started, it's hard to get him to stop," Uraraka said.
"If anyone can nerd out for a long period of time, it's Fishlegs," Astrid said, gesturing to the two happy in their own little bubble, "I'm Astrid."
"I'm Ochaco Uraraka, you can just call me Uraraka," A round faced girl, wearing a pink shirt said.
"Uraraka, that's a fun name to say. I am Tuffnut, and that's my sister Ruffnut," he said gesturing to Ruff.
"Wait, one of them is a girl?" Kirishima said.
"I thought they were both girls…" Kaminari said.
"Kirishima! Kaminari! You two should show some respect!" Iida said.
"Don't worry," Tuff said.
"We get it all the time," Ruff finished.
Aizawa was observing everyone, watching out for hostile intent. His class had dropped their guard as soon as the Vikings did, but the black dragon still looked very alert. They didn't seem to have any ulterior motive, the Vikings just wanted to learn about the future and their quirks. But one thing was for sure, the Vikings were loud, just like the majority of his students.
"They are quite boisterous," Endeavour said.
"At least they're getting along," Aizawa said. He looked over his students again, weren't there more of them in the kitchen?
The black dragon turned its attention to the forest beside him and began growling.
"Toothless, what is it, bud?" Hiccup said, walking beside his dragon. A few other noticed his movements and stood on guard, mainly Astrid, Aizawa, and Endeavour.
Aizawa breathed a sigh of relief when he heard the shout; "GET OFF ME YOU STUPID PERV!" The missing students have been found. He would deal with Mineta later.
Mina, Mineta, Shoji, Kota, and Tokoyami burst out of the forest.
"Are you four alright?" Iida said.
"MINETA LET GO!" Mina shouted, finally throwing off Mineta.
"We're fine," Tokoyami said.
"We were lost in a big scary woods with noises all around us! HOW WAS THAT FINE!" Mineta shouted, but no one paid him any attention.
Mina went over to the other girls as quickly as she could, who all gave her a quick hug.
Aizawa glanced his students over to make sure they weren't hurt, and they were not. The villain's quirk is not as straight forward as he thought. He looked back towards the group to see Hiccup talking down a feral looking Astrid. He sighed, he needs to stop Mineta's behaviour, nothing he's done has worked so far.
"So those are some of your classmates too?" Fishlegs asked Midoriya.
"Yeah, we were all cleaning up from dinner when a villain attacked."
"So that's how you all ended up here."
"Yeah. We didn't get a good look at the villain, but he had some sort of portal based quirk that brought us here."
"That is so interesting! Quirks are almost just as fun to learn about."
"What can beat quirks?"
"Dragons," He said, gesturing to the round brown dragon, "This here is my girl Meatlug, she's a Gronkle, a boulder class dragon. Her signature attack is spew, when she spews molten rock-"
"From her mouth?"
"Yes. If she eats a certain combination of rock it cools into Gronkle Iron which is lighter than Iron but somehow stronger."
"That's so cool!"
"Each dragon is unique, and Hiccup and I want to find them all!"
Hiccup walked over to Aizawa and Endeavour, "Is anyone else missing?"
"No," Aizawa said, "This is everyone that was in the common space."
"Okay, we can head to our outpost then."
"Outpost?" Endeavour questioned.
"Yeah, we are living at an outpost to explore the seas outside of our archipelago."
"Is it just you six?" It seemed unwise for six bickering teenagers to be running an outpost in unknown territory.
"Yeah, us and our dragons. No need to worry, it's well defended."
"Who needs defences," Snotlout said, "We have dragons!" He was with a few boys from class A near Hiccup.
Hiccup sighed, "Don't listen to him, we do have defences."
Aizawa nodded, he had a few students who could be obnoxious at times.
"Sorry I never caught your names," Hiccup said.
"Aizawa, I'm their teacher."
"Endeavour, a pro hero."
"Finally, a normal sounding name," Tuff said. He got a few glances from class A, "What? There's a trader Endeavour at the Northern markets."
"I'm pretty sure that's the name of his ship," Astrid said.
"No, his ship was called Geralt," Ruff said, "He actually engraved it."
"Are you sure it wasn't the other way around?" Tsuyu asked.
"Positive! Snotlout even came with us!"
"Yeah, he can prove it."
"Prove what?" Snotlout said, walking over. The whole group was now watching this debate unfold.
"The name on the side of the ship," Tuff said.
"Tuffnut, you know I don't read when I don't have to."
"Can you read?" Kaminari asked.
"Yeah, but there's no point."
"Tell me about it."
"Anyway," Hiccup said, getting everyone's attention, "Let's head back to our outpost."
"We get to see a Viking village?" Momo Mina said, "So cool!"
"It's just our outpost," Astrid said.
"Nonetheless, we get to see true Viking buildings!" Kirishima said.
The conversation was going largely unnoticed by Fishlegs and Deku, who were still in a world of their own, with Deku about to show off part of his quirk.
"Basically I try to balance out the power running through my body to course all through out but I can also focus the power into a single point," Deku said, creating a gust of wind into the forest.
"That's so cool!"
"Thanks, they can be a lot strong than that."
"Really? That could be enough to throw dragons off course!"
"Hey Fishlegs, Midoriya, we're heading back to the edge," Hiccup said. He saw Midoriya's demonstration and wanted to learn more about them. But if that blast wasn't at full power, then how destructive could he be? How powerful were the rest of them?
"Why does your face look like a bird?" Tuffnut asked.
"It's part of my quirk," Tokoyami said, "I can summon Dark Shadow, which is a bird like creature."
"Wait summon? I thought only Gothi could do that!"
"Cool!" Ruffnut said, "What else can you guys do?"
"I can turn my body into a rock-hard material, I call it hardening."
"So you could withstand a mace to the face?" Ruff asked.
"Yeah, and a lot more!"
"Cool!"
"Those are lame, I can blow stuff up with my hands."
"Eh."
"What do you mean by 'eh'!" Bakugo shouted.
"Barf and Belch can blow things up, it's not that hard," Tuff said.
"Who the hell are Barf and Belch?!"
"Our dragons," Ruff said, gesturing to the green two-headed dragon behind them, "We have blown up our fair share of things with the two of them."
Bakugo was fuming, with little sparks going off in his palms.
"It's okay, Bakugo," Kirishima said.
He wasn't listening. So, Kaminari decided to take over.
"I can conduct and manipulate electrify."
"What's electricity?"
Kirishima was dumbfounded. Then he remembered that they were Vikings, they didn't have electricity. "Electricity is like lightning."
"Wait!" Tuff said.
"You can control lighting?" Ruff said.
"Yeah," Kaminari said. Kirishima didn't like where this was going.
"You know who else can control lighting," Ruff said.
"The Almighty Thor!" Tuff said.
"Who's Thor?" Kaminari said.
"The God of lighting! You must be related!" Tuff shouted.
Kaminari just looked confused, he knew both of his parents, and neither of them were the Viking God of lighting. "I'm not related to Thor."
"Of course, you are!" Tuff said.
"Show us your lightning, Kaminari Thorson!"
"He's not related to Thor," Aizawa said, coming up behind them.
"And how do you know?" Tuff said, very sassily.
Aizawa glared at the pair for a moment, and was a little shocked when his glare did not make them uncomfortable. "I'm his teacher, and I know his parents. Neither of them are Thor."
"But how do you know his grandfather isn't Thor?"
"Or his great-grand father isn't Thor?"
"Or his great-great-grandfather isn't Thor?"
Aizawa paused for a moment, almost regretting stepping into this conversation; "Because the quirk would have worn of through that many generations."
The twins paused and looked at each other; "It is probable." Ruff said.
"But did it actually happen?"
"He doesn't look like Thor."
"No, but he could still carry part of him."
The twins kept on debating the matter between themselves, slowly drifting away from the group.
Kirishima started to snicker.
"What's so funny!" Bakugo shouted.
"Nothing," Kirishima managed to get out. He already knew that he was going to have a good time with these Vikings.
Aizawa sighed, this was going to be a very long day.
"How is it daytime?" Tuyu asked.
"I'm not sure," Momo said.
"Was it not day when you guys left?" Astrid asked.
"No, we were cleaning up from dinner when a villain attacked," Mina said.
"I'm just curious as to how he got through UA's defences," Momo said, "UA's been on lockdown for a while now."
"When you say villain, what do you mean by that?" Astrid asked.
"Villains cause reckless chaos using their quirk and we have reason to believe that this villain was working for Shigaraki and the league of villains. They are currently wreaking chaos across Japan."
"That sounds awful," Astrid said, she wanted to mention the struggle with the dragon hunters but she was cut off.
"Our classes education has been put on hold because of it!" Mina said, "We just want to become hero's and help!"
"But we can't rush our training," Tsuyu said, "That wouldn't make good hero's either."
"Until you guys can make it back, Stormfly and I would be happy to help with your training," Astrid said.
"Really?"
"Who's Stormfly?" Uraraka said.
"She's my dragon," Astrid said, pointing to the blue birdlike dragon behind her, "We train evey day together and you're welcome to join us."
"That sounds like so much fun!" Mina said.
"We'd love to join you," Momo said, "We just have to make sure it's okay with Mr. Aizawa."
"Can I join you laddies?" Mineta asked.
"No way!" Mina shouted, "Girls only!"
The rest of the girls glared at Mineta but he wasn't deterred; "Come on! It's not fair that you get extra help, and the guys don't!"
Astrid glared at him, cracking something in her neck. Her hands were itching to grab her axe or a blunt object and whack this kid over the head with it.
Mineta nervously gulped, "On second thought-"
"He can train with, Snotlout!" Snotlout said walking up behind him.
"Snotlout, you don't train."
"Sure, I do. Hookfang and I do it all the time."
"Yeah, I'll train with Snotlout," Mineta said.
"Awesome! Let me introduce you to Hookfang, the best dragon," He said, leading Mineta towards the Monstruous Nightmare.
"Saved by Snotlout," Astrid muttered, "Never thought I'd see the day."
