They quickly ducked and grabbed their guns. Sam peeked over the couch to look outside. He saw a man standing outside with an automatic gun and getting into a car. The gunfire stopped so Callen and Sam quickly went outside. They jumped into the car and followed the car.
"Eric," Callen spoke over his earwig. "We're in pursuit of a car. Sam and I just got shot at while we were in the house. Shooter made it off in a black beamer, license plate nine – Charlie – Oscar – Hotel – seven – five – one. We're driving south on Crenshaw Boulevard."
"Copy that Callen, will alert LAPD," came the response of the tech.
"Now heading West on West one-twenty street."
"Looks like he's heading for the chopper hangar," Sam added.
A little later the car drove through the gate at the airstrip. Sam and Callen followed. At high speed they drove across the runway. Suddenly the car came to a stop at a helicopter, which was already running. Two men quickly got out and ran to the chopper.
"That's Jordan," Callen stated as he got a good look at one of the men.
"We can't let him get on that chopper."
Sam parked his car just behind Jordan's and the two agents got out of the car.
"Jordan Elliot, federal agents!" Callen yelled. "Don't get in that chopper! Put your hands up and put the gun down on the floor."
Jordan shot at them again so Callen and Sam took cover behind Jordan's car. Whenever they could they fired back. Sam had managed to shoot out the chopper so it couldn't take off.
"Give up Jordan, you can't go anywhere," Sam yelled.
Jordan shot at the agents again but Sam managed to shoot him in his arm, making him drop his gun. Seeing Jordan getting shot made the other guy put his gun down. Sam and Callen made their way up to the men and cleared them of their guns before putting the cuffs on them. Jordan was patched up before they took them both to the boatshed. Callen went with Jordan to the downstairs interrogation room while Sam took the other guy to the upstairs interrogation room.
"You can't keep me here, I need medical attention. You shot me," Jordan complained.
"You'll live. The paramedics checked you over. But that is the least of your concern right now. You shot at us in the house, then ran from us and then shot at us some more and tried to get away in a chopper. And that is not even counting the murder of agent Parker."
"Murder?! No, I didn't murder anyone."
"Then why did you shoot at us and ran from us."
"I thought you were robbing me."
"Try again. Even after we said we were federal agents you continued to shoot at us. We know you knew Parker. We know you have a good reason for wanting him dead. So what happened? You saw he was down here in LA and he decided to kill him."
"I didn't kill anybody. But I'm not sad that Parker died. He deserved to be stabbed several times."
"I haven't said anything about how he died."
Jordan realized he might have made a mistake. "I must have read it on the news how he died."
"Again, try again. There hasn't been any news report on his dead."
"He had it coming! Do you know what he did to my brother?!" Jordan yelled.
"We know he had your brother discharged and that your brother killed himself but that wasn't Parker's fault."
"YES IT WAS! He got my brother discharged and my brother couldn't take it anymore, that's why he killed himself. And that's why Parker deserved to die! When I saw him just walking here in LA I got so angry. He was walking around just enjoying his holiday while my brother killed himself."
"So you followed him and took him out on the boat and killed him."
"I just couldn't let him walk! After what he did to my brother he deserved to die!"
They had a confession now so Callen walked out into the main room. Sam was already there and he was watching on the screen.
"What did you guy say?" Callen asked his partner.
"Jordan had hired him to help him but it was all Jordan's plan."
"Yeah Jordan blamed Parker for his brother's death. He just saw him walking here and something snapped."
They waited at the boatshed for someone to come and pick up the two men to transport them to prison before going back to the office. Once back at the office Callen went up to OPS.
"Eric, can you call Agent Pierce please?" Callen asked.
"Yeah sure." Eric typed some keys on his tablet and a little later a video call with Agent Pierce showed up on the screen.
"Agent Callen, do you have any new information?" Agent Pierce asked.
"We caught the man who killed Parker. It was Jordan Elliot. His brother was Petty officer Steven Elliot. Parker arrested him a while back and cus of that he was dishonorably discharged. Steven killed himself and Jordan blamed Parker for that. Jordan lives here in LA and we he saw Parker just enjoying his holidays here something inside of him snapped and he killed him."
"Yeah we heard that Steven Elliot had killed himself. But Parker was just doing his job. Elliot was caught so there was no other course then to dishonorably discharge him. It's regretful that Elliot killed himself cus of that, but Parker was just doing his job. I can't believe his brother would do something like that. Thank you for your help on this case Agent Callen."
"Of course Agent Pierce, he was one of us."
"Can I make arrangements to have Parker's body shipped home so his family can properly bury him?"
"Yeah of course. I'll send you the contact information of the ME that has his body and you can make arrangements."
"Thank you."
"Give our best to his family."
"I will do that." Parker ended the videocall. "Eric, can you send him the information of the ME office so he can contact them."
"Yeah got it."
Callen left OPS and went back downstairs. He walked into Hetty's office.
"I've informed Agent Pierce of our progress in the case. He's gonna make arrangements to have Parker's back flown back to Norfolk."
"Good work Mr. Callen," Hetty told him.
Callen gave her a little smile before he walked to the bullpen. He sat behind his desk and finished the reports.
Just after 5pm the agents were packing up to go home as Eric and Nell came down the stairs, ready to go home as well.
"Before we go home, I have something to tell you all," Callen announced.
Eric and Nell walked into the bullpen as well to hear what Callen had to say.
"Something wrong Callen?" Kensi asked worried.
"Oh no, nothing's wrong." Callen grabbed his phone and put a picture up on the screen that was in the bullpen. "This is what I want to tell you."
Callen had put a picture of Zoya's ultrasound on the screen.
"Zoya's pregnant?" Kensi asked once she noticed it was an ultrasound picture.
"Yes she is. Ten weeks along," Callen replied with a big smile on his face.
"That's amazing," Kensi said as she gave Callen a hug. "Congrats."
"Thanks Kens."
The others congratulated Callen as well before they went home.
"Mr. Callen," Hetty called as Callen wanted to home. Callen turned back towards Hetty. "Congratulations to you and Mrs. Callen. I'm sure you'll be a great dad."
"Thank you Hetty."
Callen smiled at her and left the office. When he arrived at home Zoya was already there.
"Hey honey," Callen called as he walked into the living room.
"Hey honey," Zoya replied from the kitchen.
"Hey sweetie," Callen spoke to Maya who was at the table coloring.
"Hey Uncle Callen."
Callen gave her a soft kiss on her head. "Did you have a nice day at school?"
"Yes I did."
"That's good." Callen walked into the kitchen. "Hey Zoya."
"Hey G."
Callen walked over to his wife and gave her a kiss. "Did you tell the others about your pregnancy?"
"Yes I did. They were all happy for us and Ryan understood that I won't go out into the field now."
"That's good."
"So my work will be limited to desk work and helping out in OPS. I enjoy being in the field but I'm not gonna risk it."
"No, you're not. I don't want anything to happen to you."
"I won't. I'm staying inside."
"Good."
"Did you tell the others too?"
"Yes I did. They were all happy for us."
"That's good. Could you please set the table, dinner's almost ready."
"Of course."
Callen stole one more kiss from his wife before he went to set the table. They had a nice family dinner and Callen went to put Maya to bath and bed after dinner. When Callen game back downstairs he found Zoya asleep on the couch. Carefully he picked her up and carried her up the stairs. He gently put her down on the bed before going back downstairs. Callen just watched some TV before going up to bed. When he came into the bedroom he didn't see Zoya in the bed but he saw the light on in the bathroom.
"Hey honey," Callen said as he walked into the bathroom, Zoya had changed into her pajamas already.
"Hey G. Did you bring me upstairs?"
"Yeah I did. You had fallen asleep on the couch."
"Ah yes, thanks. Yeah I'm just really tired lately."
"Yeah, well your body is working for two now."
"Yeah it is. I'm just not used to that."
Callen wanted to reply but Zoya ran to the toilet to throw up.
"And I'm not used to that either," Zoya added.
"Can I do anything for you?"
"No thank you, I'm okay," Zoya replied as she smiled at her husband. He was just such a sweet husband.
"Alright, if there's anything I can do for you let me know okay," Callen spoke to her as he wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Thank you I will. For now I can do most things myself but once I get further along I won't be able to do everything."
"Yeah. I'm here for you whenever you need me."
Zoya gave him a kiss. "Thank you. I love you."
"I love you too."
Zoya kissed Callen again as she wrapped her arms around his neck and she started backing him up towards the bed.
"I thought you were tired," Callen smirked at her.
"I was, but now I need you."
Zoya kissed Callen again and moved him towards the bed. Playfully she pushed him down on the bed and climbed on top of him with a smile. Zoya wanted to kiss Callen again but Callen stopped her.
"Wait, lock the door first. In case Maya wakes up," Callen told her.
"Right."
Zoya quickly got up and locked the door before climbing back onto the bed. She kissed Callen again as her hands moved in between them to undo the buttons of his shirt. She was impatient to feel him. She ran her hands over his chest as she took his shirt off. She wasted no time and quickly took his pants, socks and boxers off as well. Before climbing back onto the bed she removed her own pajamas and panties as well. She kissed Callen again as she started moving.
"Impatient are we," Callen smirked at her as Zoya sat up.
"You have no idea. It's a good thing we don't work together, cus I don't think right now I would be able to keep my hands off of you."
"Nice to know I have that effect on you."
Before Callen even was fully in the game Zoya had reached her peak already. She collapsed down against Callen. "I just feels so good right now. The pregnancy hormones are making everything more intense and sensitive."
"I've noticed."
"Well do something about it," Zoya remarked once she noticed that Callen had stopped moving.
"Thought I'd give you a bit to calm down."
"I don't need it, as long as you take over now."
Callen turned them around so Zoya was now lying on her back. "Gladly."
By the time Callen reached his peak Zoya had finished four more times already. It was just feeling to good what Callen was doing to her.
"Wow," Zoya breathed out once Callen collapsed next to her on the bed.
"Wow is about right yeah."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
Once they had regained their breaths they changed into their pajamas and Callen unlocked the door before climbing back into bed. Zoya crawled against Callen and lay her head down on his chest as Callen moved his arm around her.
"I love you Grisha."
"I love you too Zoya."
Zoya lifted her head up and gave Callen a kiss. "Goodnight honey."
"Goodnight honey."
Zoya nestled herself against Callen's chest and soon they both fell asleep.
The next morning Callen woke up when he felt Zoya jumping out of the bed. Wondering where she was going he looked up and saw her going into the bathroom. A second later he heard her puking. Callen looked at the clock, it was only 5.30am. After five minutes Zoya still wasn't back and he could still hear her puking so Callen got out of bed.
"You okay honey?" Callen asked as he walked into the bathroom.
"Mm-hmm," Zoya replied from the floor and she had to throw up again.
Callen filled a glass with some water and wetted a washcloth. Callen put it on the edge of the bath and went to hold Zoya's hair up.
"Seems like my morning sickness really has kicked in now."
"Yeah it seems that way. Can I get you anything?"
"Just some water." Callen grabbed the glass of water he had already filled and handed it to Zoya. "Thanks. Sorry I woke you."
"It's no problem honey. I'm here for you."
Zoya quickly handed the glass of water back to Callen and threw up some more.
"I'm sorry honey. Seeing you like this, it almost makes me feel guilty for getting your pregnant."
"Don't be honey. I really love that we're having a baby, I can deal with some sickness. Just hope it won't last nine months."
"Yeah me neither."
After about hanging above the toilet for an hour Zoya was finally feeling a bit better.
"Try to get some sleep. I'll get Maya ready for school. See how you feel when you have to go to work, otherwise call in sick."
"Thanks, I will."
Callen gave her a soft kiss on her head before he went to get himself dressed. He went to Maya's bedroom to wake her up.
"Good morning Maya. It's time to get up for school," Callen softly spoke.
"Good morning Uncle Grisha," Maya replied half asleep.
Callen gave her a soft kiss on her head. "Did you have a good sleep?"
"Yeah I did."
"That's good. Why don't you get dressed and I'll make breakfast."
"Can you make pancakes for breakfast?"
"Of course."
Callen left the room and went downstairs as Maya got herself dressed.
"Where's Aunt Zoya?" Maya asked when she came downstairs.
"She's still in bed. She wasn't feel too well."
"Is Aunt Zoya sick?"
"Yeah she's a bit nauseous but that's cus of the pregnancy, that's making her nauseous."
"Will that be for nine months?"
"Hopefully not."
Callen put the pancakes on the table and the two of them ate breakfast. After breakfast Maya went to play a bit as Callen packed her lunch. Before leaving Callen quickly went upstairs since Zoya wasn't downstairs yet. When he came upstairs he found Zoya asleep in the bed. He didn't have the heart to wake her so he let her sleep. He quickly wrote her a note that he had left for work and that he would let Ryan now she was sick. Quietly he went back downstairs and brought Maya to school before driving to work. On his way to work he called Ryan.
"Good morning, Ryan Peterson," Ryan answered the phone.
"Good morning Ryan, this is Grisha Callen, Zoya's husband."
"Ah yes good morning, is everything okay?"
"Yeah yeah, everything's fine. Zoya was just not feeling well this morning so I just called you to inform you that she is sick."
"Thank you for letting me know. Morning sickness bothering her?"
"Yeah morning sickness kicked in and just feeling really tired."
"Ah yeah that sucks. Thank you for letting me know and give her my best. I will see her when she's feeling better."
"Thank you, I will. Have a good day."
"You too."
Callen hung up the phone and continued driving to work.
"Morning," Callen replied as he walked into the bullpen, only Sam was there.
"Morning G. How are things at home?"
"They're good. It's just that Zoya's nauseousness has kicked in so she spent a lot of the morning puking above the toilet."
"Oh yeah that sucks. I remember that Michelle was very nauseous with Aiden."
"Yeah Zoya has that now too and easily tired. But other than that things are going very well."
Callen walked back into the house just after 5.30pm and was pleased to see Zoya downstairs.
"Hey honey," Callen greeted his wife and gave her a kiss.
"Hey G."
"How are you feeling?"
"Better. Thanks for letting me get some sleep and calling Ryan."
"Of course. Glad to hear you're feeling better. What's for dinner tonight?"
"Dinner's in the fridge. I just didn't feel like making it, the smell alone if I open the fridge is making me nauseous."
"No problem. I will make dinner, you do have to eat something."
"Yeah I know. I ate some crackers today."
"Good. Where's Maya?"
"She's at the neighbors playing, she should be home any minute."
"Good."
Callen gave Zoya one more kiss before he disappeared into the kitchen. A little later Maya came home and once dinner was ready the sat down to eat. Zoya managed to eat about half of what she would normally eat, she still was feeling a bit nauseous.
….
Zoya was now fifteen weeks pregnant. Luckily the morning sickness had subsided after two weeks. She sometimes still felt a bit nauseous but luckily not so much anymore. But after a day of work she was tired. Her body still had to get used to the fact that it was working for two now.
"Honey, you ready? We've gotta go," Callen called as he walked into the bedroom. He found Zoya laying on the bed covered in a bunch a clothes. "You okay Zoya?"
"Yeah, I'm good," Zoya's muffled voice came from underneath the clothes. Zoya threw the clothes off of her and got up. Callen saw she was only still dressed in her underwear. "None of my pants fit anymore."
"Well yeah your little baby bump is growing already," Callen spoke as he rubbed his hand over her baby bump. He loved seeing the baby bump.
"I'm only fifteen weeks, how can I be this big already?" Zoya almost cried.
"You look beautiful honey."
"No I don't."
"Yes you do and I don't want to hear you say you don't. You look so beautiful."
"You mean that?"
"Yes of course I do. You are beautiful and I love that you baby bump is getting bigger. It means that our little baby is growing. And it's also more perfect for me to do this."
Callen got down and cupped her baby bump and pampered it with kisses. Zoya couldn't help but laugh as Callen did that. She loved that he was paying attention to her growing bump.
"Thank you honey. But what am I gonna wear? I can't go out the house like this."
"You can wear one of my pants, but you do have to go buy some maternity clothes soon."
"Yeah I will."
Callen grabbed one of his pants and handed it to Zoya. Zoya grabbed one of her wide shirts and put it on. She quickly grabbed some breakfast before they left. Before work they had a doctor's appointment. Callen wasn't called in yet so he joined her. They took Maya with them as well so they could bring her to school afterwards.
"Why are we at the doctor?" Maya asked as they sat in the exam room waiting for the doctor. "Is everything okay Aunt Zoya?"
"Yes everything is just fine. We're just at the doctor to check on your little cousin, see how he or she is doing."
A little later the doctor walked into the exam room.
"Good morning everyone. Now who is this little cutie?"
"That's our little niece Maya," Zoya replied. "We have custody of her."
"My mommy and daddy died so now I'm living with my aunt and uncle," Maya added.
"Oh I'm sorry to hear that sweetie. But I'm sure your aunt and uncle are taking very good care of you."
"Yes they are."
"That's good." Dr. Kidd turned her attention to Zoya. "Well, shall we go see what the little baby is up to."
Zoya lay down on the bed and unbuttoned her pants a little and moved her shirt up. The doctor turned the computer on, squirted some gel on Zoya's stomach and grabbed the wand. As soon as she wand came in contact with Zoya's stomach she picture came up on the screen. Dr. Kidd moved it around a bit to see if everything was alright.
"Oh my," Dr. Kidd suddenly remarked.
"What? What's wrong doctor, is everything okay?" Zoya asked worried.
"Yeah, everything is just fine. All three babies are doing fine."
"Oh thank….. wait did you say three babies?" Zoya looked at Callen. "She said three babies right?"
"Yes I did. You are having triplets."
