Little Mac and Kirby walked outside to look for Ness. They even checked near the smash village apartments. He was nowhere to be found. The two gave up and he walked her back to her room. He's such a gentleman. She didn't let him kiss her goodnight, but she did manage to hug him. He looked upset and it guilted her, but she started having doubts with him. He's so sweet, but what Link said took a sting. All she could feel was insecurities and anxiety. Perhaps they should take things slower.

Little Mac went back to his room feeling not the greatest. Kirby seemed distant tonight. He didn't know why. He knew it was because she was bothered that Ness is still gone, but he felt that there was something more to it than that. He couldn't help but think that he did something wrong. Was he moving too fast? Perhaps the nickname was too much. Maybe he was spending too much time with her and she wanted her space. Hmm, no they love each other. It's gotta be because Ness is missing. He simply needs to give her a bit of breathing room. She's going through a lot, and the round 4 tournament starts tomorrow. She's probably anxious.

Dark Pit and Pit knocked on Ness's door. No answer. Come on, Ness answer the door. He continued to knock. Still no answer. Dark Pit suggested that they break down the door, but Pit didn't want anyone to question. Also he didn't want to get in trouble. The two had no choice but to give up, until Lucas came along.

Lucas was on his way to hang out with the Ice climbers. Unfortunately they live in the same hallway as Ness. He needed to ignore Ness's room and stay strong. He stopped in his tracks when he saw the Pit twins banging on his ex best friend's door. What're they doing? Don't they know that Ness is gone? The Pit twins locked eye contact with the blonde. Lucas began fast walking the opposite direction, but Pit jumped up and landed in front of him.

"Hey, Lucas ol' buddy," Pit greeted.

"W-what do you want?"

"Just uh, hey so you and Ness are a thing right?"

"W-what?" Lucas blushed.

"Yeah, so I was wonderin' since you guys are dating and all, if you had his key."

"We're not-

"Hey, I'm not gonna judge. We're worried about your boyfriend. He uh, he gave me this note," Pit showed Lucas the sticky note.

Wow, Ness involved everyone else except him. Lucas felt offended. He wanted to run away and cry again. He knew he shouldn't have left his room.

"Listen, he's not my boyfriend. He's not even my friend anymore. I honestly don't care what happened to me. Can you leave me alone now?" Lucas said coldly.

"But the key…"
"I don't have his key! Why would I have his key?"

"Wait, you're not dating?"

"NO!"

"Seriously?"

"Seriously."

"Wow I'm actually shocked."
"Why is that? He's straight."

"He is?!"

"Does he not come off as straight?"

"Everyone thinks you two are dating."

"S-seriously?"

"Yeah, everyone thought you two were a power couple."

Lucas couldn't help but get excited. Everyone thought they were dating? Were they? N-no, Ness never seemed to like men. Wait, but clearly everyone thinks he's gay. Is he? He started to feel giddy and his heart started to beat fast. Have they been dating and Lucas never got it? Was it that obvious?

"Hey uh, your face is getting red," Pit commented.

"Huh? O-oh."

"Anyway sorry about the mix up, but I'm confused. Are you two not friends anymore?"

"N-no."

"Dammit! So we still can't get in."

"Why are you trying to break into his room?"

"The sticky note! I think he slipped it under my room last night when I was gone."

"You can read?"
"No, Dark Pit read it for me."

"Right. Well I'm glad that Ness trusted you more than he did with me. Sorry, I wasn't the chosen one like you and Captain Falcon. I'll be on my way now."

"Huh?"

Lucas turned around and walked back to his room. His emotions were all over the place. Seeing that sticky note put salt in his wounds. However, hearing what Pit was saying about him and Ness made him feel happy. He was a mess. He didn't know what to think about him. Deep inside, he still had a crush on him. He knows he shouldn't, especially since they are no longer friends, but he couldn't help it. He really really really wants to be with him. Ness is all he could think of. He's tried thinking about other things, but at the end of the day, Ness would always be in the back of his mind.

If he ever saw Ness, he didn't know what he would do or say. Lucas wants to scream at him and tell him to go away forever, but another part of him wants to kiss him and ask him what happened. He needs to get rid of these feelings for him. Wait, but if what Pit said is true that everyone thinks they're dating, does this mean that they were this entire time? This whole thing needs to stop! He needs to get over Ness.

Dark Pit and Pit sighed. No key means no entrance. Also what did Lucas mean by they're not friends anymore? Pit wondered what happened to those two.

"Well, we can always try next time," Dark Pit said.

"Yeah."

"Anyway, can I sleep over at your place?"

"What, why?"

"I love you!"

"I-I love you too I think."

"Yay! Sleep over at PittyPat's!"

"Yep, PittyPat."

Pit wanted to be nice, so he decided to sleep on the floor while Dark Pit slept on his bed. Pit hopes that Lady Paluntena can come back soon. There's something wrong with Dark Pit, Ness is missing, and Kirby is still a hot chick! Well, saying there's something wrong with Dark Pit is a bit rude. Ok, maybe he is fine, but he at least wanted to check with Paluntena if he wasn't cursed or anything. Man, he needs to get some shut eye.

Dark Pit stared at the ceiling smiling. His eyes were wide open. He wasn't sleepy at all. He screamed HELP to Pit constantly the entire time. His body worked on his own. Something is controlling him. Whatever Mario did to him… Whatever that machine did to him, it took control of his body. It's most likely a parasite. He couldn't remember exactly what happened after he went inside the machine, but his best guess is that a parasite is inside of him controlling his brain.

The entire time, Dark Pit had no choice but to act preppy and happy. He couldn't believe he was on Pit's bed! He would never do that! He would never talk to Zelda or Link. They're fucking posers. This entire experience is literal torture. He wanted to cry, he wanted to get out. Honestly, he wanted to die. He is longer in control of his own body; his own life! He wanted to cry, but this thing inside him made him smile. His cheeks hurt. All this talking and pretending to be happy is exhausting. He just wanted to die, yet here he is, smiling at the ceiling until he falls asleep.

Today is the tournament for round 4. Usually Little Mac and Kirby hold hands while watching the big screen, but she was still being distant. It's ok Little Mac thought to himself. It's the nerves, he gets it.

The announcer called out Kirby's name. Little Mac cheered her on as she stepped onto the portal. He gave her a wink and a thumbs up. She didn't want to admit it, but it made her smile. He looked cute when he did that. However, her smile faded quickly when she entered the arena. Her opponent was none other than Zelda. Great just her luck.

3,2,1 GO! Zelda gave Kirby a smug face. She summoned her knight at the pinkette. Kirby jumped over it and kicked Zelda down on the ground. The Princess kicked Kirby off of her. She summoned her fire spirit shit and threw it at her. Kirby saw the fire, but was too slow to act. It blasted her body and she flew close to the ledge. Zelda walked over and stepped on Kirby's face with a nasty grin on her face. She looked way too confident.

"Here lies the girl that everyone loves," Zelda teased.

"..."

"Seeing you on the ground with my shoe on your face is a good look on you, Kirby."

Kirby mustered the strength and grabbed Zelda's leg that was on her face. She lifted it up and twisted it, causing the princess to scream in agony. Kirby could've gone farther to break her leg and twist it the other way, but what Peach said to her stung her brain. She decided not to do that and push Zelda down to the floor.

Zelda slowly got up. Kirby stood there letting the Princess use this chance to attack. She didn't want to win this fight. She might go too far this time. Zelda looked pissed now. She jumped in the air landing behind the pinkette. She used her navori's light or whatever ice cube lookin' ass thing to blast Kirby away. She landed face first on the concrete. Zelda ran towards her and grabbed Kirby's face. She began smashing her face on the concrete continuously. The 5th smash in, Kirby launched herself backwards causing Zelda to lose her balance. Kirby began punching the Triforce of Wisdom in the face repeatedly.

Kirby was about to kiss her gloves to become boxing Kirby, but then she froze. She can't do this. Not again. Toxic thoughts clouded her mind. She couldn't focus on the fight anymore. She wanted to lose anyway, she didn't know why she was fighting back in the first place. She stood there as she watched Zelda use her fire magic to blast her across the stage. Kirby jumped and managed to grab the ledge. As she looked up, Zelda stepped on her hands and glared at her.

"You know, Kirby, I had enough of you," Zelda spat.

"..."

"You will leave my Link alone. You will stay away from him."

"Link, huh?"

"Stay away from him."

"Or what? You'll kill youself?"

"Shut it, wench!"

"I mean, that's the only reason he's with you."

"Fuck you!"

"If it weren't for you-

"Well too bad. I exist and he loves me more than he'll ever love you."

Zelda started twisting her foot, crushing Kirby's hands more. She grit her teeth in pain, but continued to hang on.

"You're nothing but a slut! A monster! The shit you did to Peach was nasty. Do you really think Link or anyone would be into that?"

"..."

"A monster is all you are. Now get the fuck out of my face!" Zelda used her foot to shove Kirby's hands off of the ledge. As she was falling to her doom, she saw Zelda's face. She looked like a demon. Red eyes burning with rage and an ugly smile. GAME! Kirby lost.
