Junior woke up the next morning, feeling well rested. He then got dressed, and came downstairs. "Well, a promise is a promise" said Laurie. "I'm going to teach you how to make fake meat." The recipe required several different ingredients, each one more organic than the last. There were several notes, which went into so many details. One of which was on a piece of paper that was three feet long. The amount of every ingredients being put in, had to be absolutely exact. Just and inch longer or shorter, could ruin the meal. It also had to be cooked at exactly the right time. Eventually, the bacon and sausages were finally ready, completely free of animal ingredients. Junior took a bite out of his sausage, and could not believe what he was tasting. "Holy crap, this is way better than real meat" he said. The bacon ended up tasting even better.
After breakfast, it seemed as though Junior was going to be able to easily get back onto school grounds, as the paparazzi were no longer outside. Junior took one step outside, and realized why there was nobody there. He instantly stepped back inside. "I'm not going back out there, it's too cold" he said. "At least you actually have a choice, I unfortunately have work to do" said Laurie. Just as Laurie was stepping outside, a mailman arrived at the door. "I have a letter for Mister Dwayne Santori Junior" he said. "How did you know this house was where to find me?" asked Junior. "I saw it in the newspaper" replied the mailman. Junior opened the letter, and saw that he and Miles were invited to the NASA headquarters in Washington, to perform magic in front of a bunch of astronauts. The date was July the first.
A few hours later, Laurie was on her lunch break, and was currently having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the greenhouse. Then she received a phone call from Miles. "Laurie, please tell me the only thing you and Junior were doing, was nothing but sleeping" said Miles. "Miles, what are you talking about?" asked Laurie. Miles then explained what she saw in the newspaper. "Oh God, literally having a camera on him while is asleep, is crossing the line" said Laurie. "What actually happened, was that I had a nightmare in the middle of the night, and I needed a hug." "We never slept in the same bed, I immediately went back to my own room." "You're right, i'm being stupid, I know Junior wouldn't cheat on me" said Miles. "Listen, everything has gone crazy ever since the two of us did that trick in Florida." "I can't leave my house, without somebody trying to interview me." "There was even this one creep who asked for a signed photo of Junior and me kissing, of course he ended up getting nothing." "Be careful around Junior, we don't need anymore people making false rumors." "The paparazzi has eyes everywhere." "Okay, i'll do my best to make sure me and him don't look like we are doing anything suspicious" said Laurie.
Authors note: Unfortunately, this is the world that we are living in. Many people in life will immediately jump to conclusions, without hearing the full story. It's an issue with modern times, and will likely still be an issue for decades to come.
I'm not saying it's impossible, but if I was required to cook a meal where everything had to be exact with not a single minor screw up, I would most likely accidentally poison the person i'm giving the meal to. I have a better chance at winning a billion dollars in the lottery.
Thank you for reading and please have a great day.
