Cuphead, Mugman, and Ms. Chalice left the casino and were trying to figure out the next place they should look for a Sorrow, when the genie Djimmi The Great flew up to them on his carpet with a grave look on his face.

"Cuphead, I'm so glad I found you! Something terrible is going on in Pyramid Peril and I need your help to stop it!" Said Djimmi.

"What's wrong?" Asked Cuphead.

"A lot of people are fixing to go to war! Some crazy man has convinced people that war is good and that they should fight and kill each other! It's utter madness!" Said Djimmi.

"Sounds like the work of Major Warren Pliskhan the Sorrow of Modern Warfare." Said Mugman checking the files.

"Looks like we're going to have to go to war with this Pliskhan guy, if we want to stop a big war from breaking out." Said Ms. Chalice.

"Exactly! We're going to war!" Said Cuphead.

"Oh boy, this is going to be rough." Mumbled Mugman.

"I'll give you a ride to Pyramid Peril and where Pliskhan is." Said Djimmi.

The heroes loaded up on Djimmi's flying carpet and they took off. They flew all the way to Pyramid Peril and saw that the area had drastically changed. The area was littered with trenches, barbed wire, destroyed tanks, destroyed cars, destroyed planes, destroyed buildings, and craters created from explosions. A lot of fighting had apparently already happened. Right now there appeared to be a ceasefire. The heroes and Djimmi could see two opposing armies on separate sides of the area. One army was red with a big red flag, while the other army was blue with a blue flag. Floating above the area was the floating castle The King's Leap, though now the castle had a few alterations to it. The castle had several cannons mounted on it's walls, bombs hanging around the area to be dropped on the battlefield below, and what appeared to be a runway for planes.

"What happened to The King's Leap and what's it doing all the way out here?" Ms. Chalice.

"Pliskhan took over The King's Leap and turned it into his own private base to travel around in." Said Djimmi.

It was then that a message was given out to the two armies through some radio horns scattered around the area. It was Pliskhan giving a speech.

"My friends, it has often been said that I like war. My friends, I like war...No, friends, I love war! I love defensive lines. I love sieges, charges, I love mop-up operations, and retreats.

Wars across prairies, in streets, in trenches, in grasslands, in frozen tundras, through deserts, on the sea, in the air, I love every act of war that can occur upon this earth. I love blasting the enemy to smithereens with artillery salvos that thunder across the lines of battle. My heart leaps with joy whenever a soldier is tossed high into the air and cut to pieces. And there is nothing like a tank operator destroying enemy tanks. And the feeling that comes when a soldier runs screaming from his blazing tank, only to be mowed down by heavy gun fire, is such an exquisite feeling. Like when ranks of infantry brandish their bayonets rushing into the enemy line. The sight of deserters being strung up from a street lamp is an irresistible pleasure. And there is nothing more amusing than the sounds made by prisoners of war dropping like flies, screaming in agony as they're mowed down! Gentlemen... All I ask for is war, war so grand as to make Hell itself tremble. Gentlemen, I ask you as fellow brothers in arms what is it that you really want? Do you wish for further war as I do? Do you wish for a merciless, bloody war? A war whose fury is built with iron and lightning and fire? Do you ask for war to sweep in like a tempest, leaving not even ravens to scavenge from this Earth!?"

The armies began to excitedly cheer for a war.

Very well. Then war is what you shall have. We are a clenched fist, ready to strike and continue with a war beyond any other that history has ever known!…Friends... let the war commence!" Said Pliskhan.

The two armies roared as they began fighting and all hell broke lose!

To be continued.
