"Nyssa," Tegan enters one of the rooms at UNIT.
"Hey love," Nyssa looks up from the computer and smiles at her wife before looking back down.
"What's going on?"
"Osgood called me saying that the tech they had in your jackets failed and you six were spotted on their security cameras. The Osgoods and I are trying to hack into them and delete the footage."
"So it's probably a good thing not only did Ace knock a few people out, but after she took the psychic paper from Graham; it didn't give her real name."
"What did it say?"
"Let's just say she more than likes Graham."
"Tell me more tonight."
"Oh I will. I will also tell you about what else happened."
"You mean Ace dragging Graham to a far off corner?"
"Yes, that and the flirting that made Ryan unhappy at times."
"Good tell me later, I need to get back to work." Tegan leaves the room as one of the Osgoods turns to face Nyssa.
"You just brushed off Tegan."
"She knows how I get when I am trying to protect someone that I care about. I even pulled a gun on the Time Lords in the past."
"I bet they didn't like that."
"They didn't, and it was because of what they were trying to do to the Doctor. Now imagine they try to do something to Ace who not only is important to me, but also my wife and the thousands of people she helps."
"What about the others?"
"Of course I care about them, it's just Ace is like a sister to me."
"I understand, Kate gave us this opportunity, well Osgood and I and we want to mostly protect her." The three of them get back to work trying to hack into the company.
"Yes, I got it!" Nyssa adds after a while excitedly.
"You do?"
"I do, annnnd, delete, wait a second was Ace just checking out Graham's ass."
"They both were doing it, I caught Graham doing it in a couple shots." Osgood, Nyssa still can't tell them apart and informs both Nyssa and the other Osgood.
"I am going to have to force Tegan to give me all the details on what happened."
"Have fun with that."
"She already told me that she will tell me about the flirting." Nyssa completely deletes everything from that company's security servers of the past 48 hours to add a little buffer.
"Thank you Nyssa," one of the Osgoods said.
"No need to thank me, my family could have been put in danger, not only my immediate, but extended." Nyssa makes her goodbyes and goes over to Tegan.
"Did you get it done?"
"I did, there is no record of the six of you ever being there. I am heading back to A Charitable Earth now."
"See you at home, Nys."
"Yes you will, and you better tell me about what happened between Ace and Graham."
"I will." Nyssa after kissing Tegan on the cheek walks out of the building running into Ace and Graham. She looks at their proximity, hands interlocked and smiles.
"Good, I'm happy for you two?" Ace and Graham look at each other then at Nyssa. "It's obvious that you finally took the plunge after over half a year of knowing each other."
"Good, if it's obvious we won't have to make an announcement."
"I think there might have been a pool going on, so be prepared for money exchanging hands." Nyssa walks away as Ace and Graham look at each other again.
"Bets," Ace lets go of Graham's hand and runs fully inside, "alright who had bets on us."
"What do you mean," Tegan, who was focusing on what was on her laptop asks.
"Bets on Graham and I."
"Nyssa told you, didn't she?" Graham catches up to see Ace looking all around the room angry at everyone.
"Tegan."
"So you and Graham are."
"Ace," she turns and faces the voice.
"One second," she smiles at him. "What happens between Graham and I is our business not the business of everyone we care about."
"Of course it's our business Ace, we love and care about you two, but the flirting and at times it has been very suggestive. Most of us thought you would be living together by now."
"Tegan Jovanka," Ace steps forward but Graham lays a hand on her shoulder.
Ace turns to face Graham who she can tell isn't happy either by looking into his eyes, but can tell he is remaining calm. "Tegan, and who else bet on something that is private; we don't appreciate it. You can tell how angry Ace is at everyone."
"Graham," Yaz starts to speak up.
"Yaz how would you feel if Dan and Vinder had a bet going on with you and the Doc. I admit I was blind to it all. I was too busy mourning Grace."
"You two are no fun." Yaz pouts.
"All I am asking is no more bets on my relationship with Ace."
Tegan looking at her friend, "so it is a relationship."
"A brand new one," Ace glares at Tegan before glaring around the room. "While Graham is asking for no more bets on us; I am telling you all no. more . bets." She announautes each word by pausing for a second. Everyone but Tegan is shocked to see Ace so angry at them.
"It was harmless bets," Yaz tries to say.
"Harmless, how is betting on someone's love life harmless."
"We all knew that the two of you would get together, it was just a matter of when," Tegan defends all of their actions. "Didn't you bet Nyssa got here on how long it would take for us to get married."
"No, I did not. I would never bet on anyone's love life." Ace moves to her desk to fill out some paperwork. Before she knows it there is a tapping on her shoulder.
"Yes," still agitated from earlier is stiff as she turns around to find the one face she isn't angry with.
"Are you ready to head home," asks Graham.
"I am. I don't think I will be here for the rest of the week. It will be best if I work at my foundation to cool down a little."
"Are we still on for Saturday night?"
Ace smiling for the first time since they arrived back at UNIT, "we are. Walk me to my car?"
"It would be my honor," Graham holds out his arm and bows down like a prince would to a princess making Ace laugh and she takes his arm. Tegan was still at her desk calling Nyssa telling her she was on her way home.
As Ace and Graham get to her car she pulls Graham in for a mouth searing kiss. "I still am looking forward to our phone calls."
"Me too." Graham kisses her quickly then steps back so she can get in her car. Graham walks to his car passing Tegan as she gets into hers, he nods at her.
When Tegan gets home Nyssa has a glass of scotch waiting for her. "I am sorry for letting it slip about the bet you had with a bunch of people."
"I just have to deal with Ace being pissed at me for a few days. It's not like it hasn't happened before. I am glad that she has a sounding board now that loves her."
"You think Graham loves her?"
"I do, after today when he reacted positively to the psychic paper reading Ace O'Brien."
"It did what?"
"When one of them was holding the psychic paper it admitted their real feelings for the other. That was after the flirting over psychic paper they did." Tegan takes a sip of her drink. "Granted now most of us are now in her dog house, big time."
"I don't want to say this."
"Then don't."
"I have to, I told you guys this would happen. Ace has never liked people interfering with her life. You know that is why she left the Doctor."
"And they had a big fight."
"Exactly now when you get the chance."
"Apologize."
"And no more bets and our friend's private life. I can't believe I have to say this. I am going to bed." Nyssa gives Tegan a quick kiss then heads up.
