Author's Note: I know this is a short one. Though it's a day late I hope all of you will enjoy this as a belated Christmas gift.

Two Days Later

Kazuma, Darkness, and Megumin were sitting at a table in the guild hall. Kazuma and Darkness had ales while Megumin was sipping on some freshly squeezed pinecone juice. Darkness was very deliberately not looking at Kazuma.

"Hey, come on, Darkness you can't still be mad at me," Kazuma sighed. "I've said I was sorry, and you even punched me. What else do you want?"

She looked at him just long enough to glare, then immediately looked away again as she took a swallow of ale.

"Fine," Kazuma emptied his mug and stood. "I'm going to go drain the goblin."

As soon as Kazuma had gotten out of ear shot Megumin turned to her teammate.

"So, what did he do this time? Steal your panties? Peek in on you in the bath? Sneak into your bedroom late at night and start doing exercises to earn atrocity points?"

"I am sorry, Megumin. But I really can't discuss it. I can only say that he took advantage of my trust and got me to do something for him that I deeply regret." She took a drink of her ale.

Megumin gave a sympathetic nod. "Yeah, it must be awful giving a guy like him your virginity."

Darkness spat the ale out of her mouth and stared horrified at Megumin. "W… What?!"

Megumin shrugged. "I mean it was bound to happen sooner or later. He's a total perv, and you live with him. But while he's a jerk he's also a good team leader and super rich and not too hard on the eyes. I can imagine how he could take advantage of you in a moment of weakness. Plus, I've seen the way you look at him."

"W… What do you mean by that? I h… have absolutely no romantic feelings towards Kazuma whatsoever! I see him as a friend and compatriot and nothing else!"

"Yeah, right," Megumin rolled her one visible eye. The other one was covered with an eyepatch.

"It's true!"

"Then why'd you give him your first?"

"I did not! I am still a virgin maid!"

"Really?"

"Yes! I swear it by Eris!"

Megumin stopped and thought about it. "So, you used your mouth?"

"No!"

"Hand?"

"No!"

"Feet?"

"Ack! Stop saying such disgusting things! How do you even know about these sorts of matters at your age?"

"What do you mean?" Megumin huffed. "I am a mature adult woman of fourteen! Plus, I attended the Red Prison with a bunch of older girls. Sex stuff and fashion were about the only things they ever talked about."

"Megumin, you were imprisoned? What sort of crime did you commit?"

"It wasn't a prison. Well, it kind of was, but it was really just what we called the magic school back in my village."

"In any case, please stop making these baseless accusations! There is absolutely nothing whatsoever of an immoral nature going on between Kazuma and myself!"

"Then what's got you so mad?"

"It's something I cannot discuss with you!"

"Oi, what the hell are you two yelling about?" Kazuma strolled back to the table. "I could hear you shouting all the way in the privy."

"Kazuma!" Darkness rounded on him. "Tell Megumin you and I have never done anything even remotely sexual!"

He looked at her in confusion. "You mean except for that one time I tied you up to the bed?"

"You did what?!" Megumin gasped.

Darkness' face turned tomato red as she realized the boisterous guild hall was as silent as a tomb. She looked about to see every face turned in their direction staring. She raised a fist in the air and shouted at the top of her lungs.

"All of you return to your drinking and conversations or I swear by Eris I will punch every last one of you!"

Everyone quickly started to drink and talk again as Kazuma sat back down to be interrogated by Megumin. He was soon apologizing to Darkness and asking her not to hit him.

Eventually, it was decided that he would let Darkness pick their next job and that she would finally forgive him for whatever it was he'd done to upset her.
