Hey Everyone! It's SecretWriter26, and you guys, I am so sorry for the hiatus. I needed to take some time for a mental health break. But I did promise to come back to this story, and I am today. First of all, to answer a question from MyWriterBlock, my favorite ship is Hinny, the Harry/Ginny ship, but the ship between Ginny and Luna is a close second. So, for this chapter there will be a little bit of a time skip to the first task of the Triwizard tournament, but there will not be a lot of the first task shown during the chapter, Instead, we will be focusing on something that happens during the task. So, without further ado, lets get into the story.

Updated Jan 27, 2024 because it's fourth year, not fifth! Thank you to the guest reviewer who pointed that out.

Draco Malfoy woke up to the sound of someone vomiting. He immediately shoved his pillow over his head and tried to hum something. Loudly. Theodore Nott, or Theo, as he was known to his friends, was the only 4th year Slytherin boy to still get morning sickness. Draco had passed that stage and was nearing the end of his pregnancy. Blaise Zabini had the strongest stomach, but also constant mood swings that kept the other boys on their toes. Vincent had the aches and cramps, as well as other symptoms. Gregory, on the other hand, had the most ridiculous cravings. Draco honestly found them disgusting. He'd been preferring chocolate more than usual, as well as fruit, and pretzels, an interesting muggle food that Honeydukes had started to sell.

"Who's going to watch the task today?" Draco asked. Not everyone had to go watch the task.

Blaise looked up from the pile of potions he was sorting through, Stomach Soother potions were vital to have around, and Blaise was the only one who could go and give Theo his potion without becoming sick on the spot. "I think I'll stay here, maybe do some homework. I feel super tired today." Blaise said. Draco sat up slowly, looking over to Vincent, who shrugged.

"I'll go with you." Greg called over, while Draco struggled to his feet to get changed.

Once the two boys were all ready, they headed towards the common room stopping to wait for Pansy, Millicent, and Daphne.

"Welcome to the first task of the Triwizard Tournament." Bagman said "There will be three rounds of tests on magical creatures. Each round, someone will be eliminated. Your clues for the second task will depend on how far you get in the first. In this first round, you will be tested on your knowledge of magical creatures. Please write a list of 5 magical creatures you, personally, have seen and where you saw them." Parchment and quills appeared in front of the champions. They grabbed them, and began to write.

I turned to the other teachers. "Who do you think will win? At least this challenge."

"My champion. Fleur Delacour." Madame Maxime said. A few others said Cedric Diggory. Most teachers claimed Harry was winning the challenge. Only Karakoff argued for Victor Krum. Then a girl burst into the teacher's box. "Miss Mallow? You're needed in the hospital wing."

I jumped up. "And you are?"

"Astoria Greengrass. I'm a second year."

"And who's in the hospital wing?"

"Draco Malfoy. He's a 4th year Slytherin." The girl looked at me worriedly.

"Thank you. Could you floo call the healer at St. Mungos, and tell them to send someone to the hospital wing at Hogwarts?"

Astoria took off, and I spotted Pansy Parkingson and Millicent Bulstrode at the door of the hospital wing. "Miss Bulstrode, please go retrieve Professor Snape and Madam Pomfrey." She headed away, and I opened the door, rushing in, with Pansy following me.

Draco was visibly panicked. "Mr. Malfoy. There you are. Can you take some deep breaths for me?" He started to do so. "Alright. You're allowed to have a friend in here until the healers get here. Then your friend will have to return to my office. The healers will do your examination. If it is actually time for you to give birth, then-"

"I've only actually been pregnant…" Draco's voice shook as he talked. "For a month now. I'm not ready to be a parent. Plus, isn't pregnancy supposed to last 9 months?"

"With the whole magical situation going on, anything could happen. All of the processes are sped up dramatically. It's perfectly possible you could be in labor right now. If it is time, the healers will make sure everything goes alright."

Madam Pomfrey came in, and went straight over to Draco and began casting spells. Everyone in the room looked at her. "You were right to come down here." She said. "It does appear that you're in labor, Mr. Malfoy."

"Afterwards, I'll come in to do a soulmate test. We'll see if we can figure out anything. You're allowed eight visitors. Your parents are able to come in for the first few day."

"Mother and Father, for two of the visitors. Professor Snape. My soulmate, if we know who that is. Millicent, Gregory, Vincent, and Blaise. Daphne, if we don't know my soulmate. Then Pansy, if you can wait here right now?"

I led everyone but Pansy out of the hospital wing. "All of you are free to return and watch the tournament, or we can head up to my office, if you'd prefer."

We all quickly came to the consensus that my office was best, and the group headed upstairs. Once we got there, the kids all sat down on the couches, and I summoned a house elf, Tulip, giving her instructions to fetch the Malfoys. "Water, anyone?" Millicent, Daphne, and Gregory nodded, and I poured them glasses of water before levitating it over to them. Knock…Knock.

"Who is it?" I asked. The door opened and there was a blond Slytherin there. "I heard Draco's having his baby. Why didn't anyone get me!"

"And your name is…"

Tracey Davis"

"Well, Miss Davis, unless you're proven to be Draco's soulmate, then no one had the need to come get you." I glanced over, and noticed Daphne. She seemed to be panicking a bit. "Now, Miss Davis, if that is all, then would you kindly leave my office?"

"Argh!" She stormed out of my office and slammed the door. "Daphne, are you alright?" I asked quickly.

"Can I -" She gestured to one of the quiet spaces off of my office. I nod and wait until she's closed the door to interrogate Millicent.

"Tracey and Daphne were friends for the longest time. Then they had a bit of a dispute, when we learned that Daphne was pregnant. Tracey said that she wanted to be a godparent. Daphne said she hadn't decided yet. Or something stupid like that. They got into a fight. Tracey called Daphne a… Tracey accused Daphne of sleeping around. Said the pregnancy was accidental, not this soulmate debacle. It got so bad Professor Snape had to step in to break it up. Daphne moved out of the Slytherin dorms to the family housing space you're setting up."

I was shocked. "Next time, take that to a teacher."

"We tried." Millicent sighed. "But the Davis family has a lot of influence. Professor Snape couldn't do anything. Dumbledore is too extreme for name-calling. If they aren't a head of house, no one takes them seriously, and only Professor Snape takes Slytherins seriously." Poof. I was saved from having to lecture Millicent when the Malfoy's came through.

"Lord and Lady Malfoy." My training from SWA kicked in. "Please, take a seat." They both did, and I summoned the teapot. "Would you two care for some tea?"

"Why can't we have tea?" Gregory protested. It was times like this where I regretted dealing with these kids.

"We aren't sure whether it's safe." I replied firmly.

"I want tea." He muttered, when he thought I couldn't hear him.

I could.

I heard a loud knocking on my door. "Come in!" I called. Snape entered, followed by Blaise and Vincent, who shut the door behind them. Once Snape entered, Daphne rejoined the group. She sat down next to Millicent, who had started a game of Wizard Chess against Vincent. Gregory joined Vincent's team to make it fair, while Blaise was content to just sit and chat with Professor Snape and the Malfoys.

Everyone was asleep when I got the Patronus. The Malfoys had gone to a guest room, Snape to his quarters, and the kids sprawled out somewhere in my office. At the sound of Madam Pomfrey's voice, the kids started to wake up. I sent a quick patronus to Snape, sent Blaise to get the Malfoys, then grabbed my wand and headed downstairs.

Draco was propped up in his bed, with a little girl in a crib next to him. I took a seat in the chair. "How're you feeling?"

"Being trampled by a hoard of hippogriffs doesn't even begin to describe it." He joked. "I'm on a bunch of pain relievers, but it still hurts."

"Well, are you ready to find out your soulmate?" I asked him. He nodded slowly. I pulled out my wand, and touched it to the baby's forehead. Words above her head began to glow. Draco Malfoy was the first name. It was followed by… Harry Potter?

cliffhanger! wasn't that fun? It was also long…
