Everyone has heard of River Song. Time-traveling archeologist. Mercenary and Assassin. Enemy of the Sontarans. The woman who strikes fear in even the Daleks. Killer and Consort of the Doctor. Anyone that has ever gotten to be in her orbit knows she practically oozes sex. She can seduce anyone and anything. It's her favorite method of business. So it's only natural that she makes people nervous and if she enjoyed that, well…. who can blame her?
He came to blow off some steam at one of the seedier bars In the galaxy. There was only so much he could take after being alone for so long. He was a Time Lord, not a robot. So, there he sat, knocking back drinks like no tomorrow.
That was when a familiar smell emerged. Like rain, dust, and time. Out from the bathroom walked River Song. She was in black heels and was all legs tonight. Wearing a figure-hugging off-the-shoulder black dress with long flowy sleeves. When their eyes met it was like her entire world lit up, and he would keep to himself that he felt the same.
The last time he saw her they had taken a swim in a river deep in a beautiful forest. She had convinced him to shed his jacket and shirt but he refused to remove his pants. She had on a thin Tardis blue two-piece that left nothing to the imagination. He had thought about getting out of one river to get into another multiple times, but he kept his composure. If by the end of their time together he had to physically pinch himself from kissing her whenever she looked at him a certain way, no one would be the wiser.
That was the exact look she was giving him right now.
"Why Doctor, fancy seeing you here," she purred as she walked over to him
"River, how are things," he asked
"You know, shooting Sontarans, robbing banks, taking names, the usual," she said as she signaled the bartender to get them another round of drinks
"I don't even want to know how much of that was true," he deadpanned
"Don't worry Doctor, you're always the highlight in my busy life of crime," she winked which made him blush
"Uh," he blanked
"Calm down, you look like I'm about to bite you," she chuckled
"I remember the last time I was-" he rambled nervously
"I won't bite you," she promised, "well not unless you ask," she smirked as she threw back her third drink
"River!" He exclaimed as he choked on his drink
"Oh come on, I'm not playing any games with you, am I?" She questioned
"Not any that I know of," he muttered
"You seem so nervous," she hummed "What's the matter?" She asked
He only giggled, yes giggled, in response. He blamed it on the alcohol
"What's so funny?" She laughed
"Nothing," he said as he continued to giggle
"Yeah right, you're giggling your fucking ass off," she deadpanned
He continued to laugh and she joined in.
"Why do you laugh like that," she gasped laughing
"Oh, you know, regeneration," he shrugged
"Did this regeneration also come with that stick up your ass?" she asked
"Hey!" he said a bit offended even though he knew she was joking
Just as she was about to respond the device on her wrist beeped
"Duty calls," she announced, "Well, it was nice seeing you Doctor," she said as she got up to leave
He grabbed her wrist without thinking about it. As she looked down at him, he knew exactly what he wanted.
"Stay," he whispered, "with me,"
She looked into his eyes for a long time, as if she was searching for something. All the while he was rubbing her wrist soothingly.
"Mhmm, just for a little while longer," she agreed
His face lit up like a thousand suns.
And she died inside. Just a little bit. Because she knew her time to be the recipient of those smiles was coming to a close. She would savor it though, with all her might. They wouldn't change it for the world.

Ever since they had broken out of Stormcage together, the two women had been seeing a lot more of each other. Though they acted like they despised each other, that couldn't be farther from the truth.
Missy actually liked the little genetic anomaly that was the Doctor's wife. She could match her and didn't pretend to be a goody-goody like her spouse. Plus she enjoyed riling her up and occasionally laughing with her. She was sort of pretty when she laughed. At least for a mutation.
River had met every Master incarnation and Missy was by far her favorite. For one, she wasn't trying to kill her this time around. Every time they met they were cordial if not borderline flirtatious. This version was witty, funny, attractive, and seemed to dial back the evilness just a bit. Yes, she knew developing a semi-crush on her husband's oldest friend and nemesis probably wasn't the best idea. What he didn't know wouldn't hurt him.
The two women were talking in a prison...again. Seemed to be a routine for them. If they didn't meet while one or both of them were incarcerated they usually saw each other in a bar, a random planet, or River's house. It made Missy feel sort of nice. It wasn't often that someone liked and trusted them enough to invite them into their private space of their own free will.
"Missy, are you listing," the assassin questioned
"What were you saying pet?" She asked
"How do you want to break out this time? It's your turn to choose again," she explained.
"Not to worry, I have a few tricks up my sleeve," she smirked
The Doctor would've given her a skeptical look but River only smirked back. It was refreshing.
About an hour went past and they just sat and talked to pass the time. They had gravitated closer to each other as time went on until River was practically in her lap. This was when the guards decided to come back and stand in front of their sell. Missy was fully clothed while River was in nothing but a tank and a pair of blue jean shorts. Neither had missed had the two guards nearly drooled over them. It was time for Missy's plan to begin.
"You know I could kill you with a single touch," she announced
"I could think of much better ways for you to touch me," River purred
The guard's interests were thoroughly peaked
"As much as I would love to have you under me doing whatever I say. I'm not so sure your hubby would approve," Missy replied
"Mmm he's not here is he," River whispered
Adding on a cheating scandal was a nice touch if the guard's coughs were anything to go by.
"So, this is how you want things to play out?" Missy asked semi genuinely
"What?" River asked
"Are you sure you want it to play out like this," Missy asked with a little more conviction which made River giggle.
The Time Lady nearly strangled her for making fun of her little moment of vulnerability before she responded,
"What if I did?"
Missy didn't know what to say to that. She was hoping the other woman wouldn't catch on to how real her questions were, but the way she was looking at her left no doubt. River was also being genuine.
"Uh," Missy said dumbly
"Oh come on," she laughed, "Where's all your fucking confidence gone," she asked
Missy did not stutter, because she was not capable of such a thing. Anyone who said otherwise is a liar.
"I swear, just a moment ago you were willing to tell me what to do," she continued
"What are you talking about," Missy said as she flushed.
"Oh, sweetheart. I'm talking about you," River purred as she tapped their noses together
"Oo Missy, what's this sudden attitude," she smirked
"I hate you so much," Missy grumbled
"I love you too," River said as she leaned in to kiss her.
This was when the Guards got close enough that they were able to incapacitate them and grab the keys.
"I meant it," Missy mumbled as they walked to her Tardis
"Me too," River said back
They smiled at each other and Missy felt yet another layer lifted as she grabbed her hand.

He sat content and relaxed in a chair near the console. He had his wife, his sexy, and he was on the way to pick up his best friends. Things couldn't be better. He sighed wistfully thinking of his wife.
Yes, he, the man notorious for running away, finally stopped running and fell headfirst into loving her. They had been married for the better part of a decade. He had broken her in and out of prison for their dates and... other activities a countless number of times. Even when he was avoiding her he dreamed of what it would be like to have her. It was even better than he imagined. She was funny, powerful, sarcastic, sexy, thrilling, and a genius. She could match him tit for tat and he loved it. Add on to it that she was almost a Time Lord, well it was like she was handmade for him.
Which was why it was so normal for them to sleep in together. They had a movie night, cuddled, and fell asleep in each other's arms. It was all so domestic. A part of it still scared him of course, but the rewards were worth it. He had to extract himself from her this morning because he promised her parents that he would get them so they could all spend time together as a family. He still had to wrap his mind around that as well. He once again had a family. People who made him feel at home. He quickly wiped a tear from his eye.
"If I would've known my absence would make you cry I would've woken up sooner," River said groggily
"River!" He gasped in shock and a bit of fear that she could still sneak up on him.
"Good morning sweetie," she smiled
She had walked in with one of his shirts on, which wasn't unusual. He liked to have her scent on him days after she was gone. Sometimes he would sniff them, just to remind himself of her.
"Morning," he smiled back
She came and sat in his lap which made him blush. Their bedroom life was colorful, but that didn't mean she had lost the ability to fluster him.
"Mmm, aren't you forgetting something," she purred as she looked down at him.
He leaned up and kissed her. He only meant for it to be a quick smooch because they had a busy schedule, but as soon as their lips touched all thought went out the window. He deepened the kiss which elicited a moan from her. He moved from her lips to her neck and went to town.
"Doctor," she gasped
He moaned into her neck
"Doctor, we have to stop," she whimpered
"Why?" He huffed as reluctantly halted his assault on her neck
"As much as I would love to ride you to oblivion," she started as he chortled, "We have to spend the day with my parents and I would rather not have to wear a turtleneck," she said
He pouted and released her. She laughed as he murmured some choice words for her parents under his breath. He stared at her as she walked away thinking of how to utilize the fact that they had a time machine. All thoughts left him when she bent over to grab her heels from the floor. She had on nothing but a thin thong. It was barely a scrap of fabric and showed everything. Her lips peeked out from the sides and he could see that she was a bit wet from their makeout session.
"River!" He choked and his face flamed
"Oops," she said innocently, "I'm gonna go get dressed. Make sure we land correctly please," she instructed as she strutted away.
He didn't think he could do anything correctly right now, but he decided to ignore that jab. He chased her down the corridor and completely took advantage of his ship's abilities.
When they showed up at Amy and Rory's much, much, much later. They were both wearing turtle necks.
