Episode 150: Fangs for Nothin'
Mew and her friends are close to Blackthorn City, when they discover a rare Dratini, which Mew's Dratini quickly becomes friends with, as well as a fierce Gyarados that was its protector. Soon after, they met Clair, the Blackthorn City gym leader who had previously trained with her cousin Lance of the Pokemon G-Men. When Mew challenged Clair to a gym battle, she agreed, but said that first, she must perform an age-old Blackthorn purification ritual. Now, with its completion behind her, the battle's eighth and final badges can finally begin.
Now in the Blackthorn City Gym, Mew is at the battlefield as well as Clair on the other side, and about to start their gym battle.
Kaburagi announces, "The Blackthorn gym battle between Mew of Pallet Town and gym leader Clair will now begin! When all of one trainer's Pokemon are unable to continue, the match is over. Each trainer will be allowed the maximum usage of three Pokemon, but during the course of battle, only the challenger will be able to substitute one Pokemon for another!"
"Here we go. We waited a long time for this, so let's make it a great one," Mew says.
"Pika!/Eevee!" (We will!) Pikachu and Eevee agree.
"Battling a dragon trainer won't be easy. Wouldn't you know that her battle for the eighth badge would also turn out to be her most difficult one?" Brock says.
"I hope that Mew will be alright," Misty says.
"I know Mew will think of something," Tomo says.
"I agree. Mew didn't get those other seven badges for nothing, you know. I'm sure she'll do just fine," Brock says.
Kaburagi announces, "Let the match begin!
"Ready or not, here I come!" Clair says and calls out her first Pokemon, "Kingdra, go!"
And soon, Kingdra enters the field.
"A Kingdra, huh. A Kingdra is a Water and a Dragon Type," Mew says to herself.
Then brings out her Pokeball, "And I know just the Pokemon to use. Mew then calls out, "Go Fraxure!"
And soon, Fraxure comes out.
"So you're starting with Fraxure. Interesting choice," Clair says, "Let's just see how you'll handle yourself."
"Alright Fraxure, let's start with a Dragon Tail!" Mew calls out.
And with that, Fraxure jumps, performs the attack, and strikes at Kingdra with full force.
"Alright!" Mew cheers.
"Yeah! That was a direct hit!" Misty cheers.
However, Kingdra is able to push back the attack, much to Mew and Fraxure's shock. And yet, Kingdra still had some damage.
"It looks like Fraxure's attack didn't so much," Misty says.
"I know, but it still gave Kingra some damage," Brock says.
Molly then asks, "I wonder why Mew decided to use Fraxure."
"I'm not sure," Jen says.
Clair then calls out, "Now, Kingdra, Twister!"
Kingdra proceeds to create a water cyclone.
"Fraxure, look out! Dodge it!" Mew calls out.
Fraxure runs from the attack but the water cyclone follows him.
"What kind of Twister attack is that?" Tomo asks.
"That water cyclone is following Mew's every move!" Misty says.
"That's the way to do it, Kingdra. Keep up the good work," Clair says.
"Clair's Kingdra seems to be able to control the direction that the cyclone is going!" Brock says.
Soon, Fraxure is sucked into the water cyclone.
"Fraxure!" Jen calls out.
Mew calls out, "Fraxure, use Aerial Ace to get out of the Twister!"
Fraxure hears Mew and does just that. Allowing him to fly out and back to the ground, landing on his feet.
"Are you okay, Fraxure?" Mew asks.
Fraxure nods in reply.
"Now let's try Dragon Pulse!" Mew calls out.
Fraxure then performs the attack and strikes at Kingdra. Kingdra is barely able to power out of it, but not before suffering damages.
"That Kingdra is really tough," Mew says.
"Well Mew, I have to say I had one strong Pokemon, even though it's a risk to use it. As you probably figure. Kingdra used Twister, which is an attack that comes from a dragon type Pokemon,"
"How'd it use a dragon type attack?" Molly asks.
Soon, Brock realizes, "Hold on! Seadra may be a water Pokémon, but when it evolves into a Kingdra, it gains the traits of a dragon type!"
"Of course, Mew must have known that using Electric attacks like Pikachu's won't work on Kingdra," Misty says.
"But it's also a risk because Fraxure is also weak against other Dragon Types," Brock says.
"That's right. Electric attacks are a water Pokémon's greatest weakness, but its dragon Pokemon traits more than make up for that. Of course, using another Dragon Type may be good in some cases, but it can also put other Dragon Types at disadvantage," Clair says.
Then Kaburagi says, "If I may say so Clair, you could be right about Kingdra, but that Fraxure is very strong."
"Agreed," Clair Your Fraxure is taking Kindra's Twister head on and is still ready to laugh. You have earned my respect."
Then calls out, "Go, Kingdra, Hydro Pump!"
Kingdra fires.
Mew calls out, "Counter it with Dragon Pulse!"
Fraxure does so, and when both attacks collide, they create an explosion.
"Well, that was a creative and unusual defense, using a Dragon Pulse.
"Still, it might not be enough. I've just gotta think of something else," Mew says.
Meanwhile, outside, Jessie is seen looking up at the sky.
"The sky. So blue, like my little Dratini. It's gone. My Dratini is now gone for good. I wish I could see that cute little Pokémon's face again," Jessie says.
Someone lookin' for a cute little Pokemon?" Meowth asks, looking at Jessie.
Jessie turns her head away, "Just leave me alone. I'll never be happy again."
Then James comes in, "Then I guess your favorite kind of Manju couldn't possibly cheer you up."
Jessie peeks right up, "Manju! Well, my heart may be broken, but my belly's not. Yum!" Then takes two and eats one
(Delicious!) Wobbuffet says.
Then Jessie angrily says, "But what really eats me up is that gym leader. How dare she take a perfectly good Dratini and make it evolve! I'll teach her a lesson or three! Same goes for that little twerpette."
"Looks like Jessie is back!" James says
"Now let's get down to business!" Meowth says.
"I bet you've already figured out a way to steal that Dragonair!" James says.
But Jessie says, "I'd rather give up eating Manju."
"What do you mean, Jess?" Meowth asks.
"Dratini rules and Dragonair's for fools," Jessie answers.
James and Meowth fall over in disbelief.
Meowth shouts, "Dat Manju broke your brain! Dragonair's gonna bring us big bucks!"
Unknown to Meowth something peeks out of the bushes
"You can keep your big bucks. I don't care," Jessie says, "I won't rest until I show that selfish gym leader the depths of total despair! Let her taste my sorrow and my pain!"
"WOBBUFFET!" (Sounds brutal!) Wobbuffet replies.
"Better give me that Manju," Meowth says.
"I do think we've had enough sugar for one day," James says.
"You want me to put a hole in this Manju with your head?! All I wanted was that darling Dratini to keep me warm on the coldest of winter nights, but no! She had to turn that doll into a dragon and leave me doomed to dwell in eternal agony!" Jessie angrily says.
Meanwhile, the strange figure takes the rest of the Manju on the plate.
"Such a woeful tale. We feel your pain. Don't get sad, get even! Here's your consolation prize!" James says and shows a picture of the dragon fang.
"What is it?" Jessie asks.
"It's the rare, one of a kind Dragon Fang!" James says, "It's stored in the gym and everything around here is named after this fang-amajig! And it's ripe for the taking! A treasure that's filled with history and value."
"I see. So, if we were to steal it…" Jessie says.
"I'll tell you what if we do! It's one less feather in da cap of dat gym leader!" Meiwth says.
Jessie muffles due to her mouth full, "But before we begin…" and eats the rest of her second Manju, "I'll just have a few more of these."
However, Jessie realizes that the Manju on the plate had vanished.
Jessie cries out in shock, "What? It can't be! They're all gone! Oh no! I can't go stealing priceless treasure on an empty stomach. Hey, who stole my Manju?!
"Not me. The insides of those Manju go right to my thighs, "James says.
"And I'm on a low carve diet!" Meiwth says.
The figure soon makes a noise, revealing it's actually a Wynaut, but Team Rocket thinks it's Wobbuffet.
"You're sounding pretty guilty," Meowth says.
Wobbuffet panics, "Wobbu? Wobbuffet!" (Guilty? It wasn't me!)
"Yeah. Fess up," Jessie says.
"You ate eleven Manju?!" James asks.
"Wooooobbu! Wobbu Wobbu Wobbu!" ("Noooo, I didn't! I didn't! I didn't!) Wobbuffet cries out.
But Team Rocket angrily glares, "Wobbuffet!
"Wobbuffet!" (I swear it!) Wobbuffet cries out.
Back to Mew's Battle, Kingdra fires two more Hydro Pump that Mew easily dodges.
Mew calls out, "Fraxure, Giga Impact!"
Fraxure performs the attack and strikes at Kingdra's chest with full force. It seems to cause some damage, but Kingdra is still standing.
"That Kingdra is really tough. Even direct attacks don't seem to cause some damage," Mew says to herself.
Then says, "I better call out another Pokemon,"
Mew then brings out her Pokeball, "Fraxure, return!"
Mew then returns Fraxure to the Pokeball, "Get some rest."
Mew then calls out, "Alright Sylveon, I choose you!"
And Sylveon comes out.
" I'm counting on you, Sylveon. Let's give that Kingdra a sample of your fairy attacks!" Mew says.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket heads to the Blackthorn gym treasure room
The boys whisper, "Take it easy. Very quiet. Take it easy."
They soon make it to the door.
"Doesn't seem to be anyone around," James says.
"Now only this door separates us from our wealth," Jessie says.
"Yes, but that is one nasty looking padlock," James replies.
Meowth chuckles, "I just sos happened to have brought my lockpicking tools with me," and reveals his claws.
Back at Mew's Gym battle…
"Kingdra, Hydro Pump, now!" Clair calls out.
"Sylveon dodge!" Mew calls out.
Kingdra fires multiple shots but Sylveon is gracefully able to dodge them easily.
"Alright Sylveon, use Fairy Wind!" Mew calls out.
Sylveon uses the attack and the attack is so strong that it lifts Kingdra into the air.
"Kingdra!" Clair calls out.
"Good job! That's the way to do it, Mew!" Misty calls out.
"Dazzling Gleam!" Mew calls out.
Sylveon does the attack and blasts it, sending it flying.
Clair quickly calls out, "Kingdra, Hydro Pump, now!"
Kingdra turns its head and fires at the wall to stop itself.
"Oh no!" Mew says, shocked.
Kingdra soon lands.
"Kingdra fired its Hydro Pump at the wall!" Misty says.
"And by doing that, it allowed Kingdra to break!"
"Sylveon, use Draining Kiss!" Mew calls out.
Sylveon then performs the attack.
But then Clair says, "Kingdra, time for Agility!
Kingdra darts from one location to another, dodging the attack.
"Look, guys! I didn't think Kingdra were able to move that quickly on land!" Misty says.
"Clair's raised that Kingdra so well that nothing surprises me at this point!" Brock says.
Kingdra closes in on Sylveon.
"That Kingdra is raised well. It's powerful, strong, and fast. I'll just think of something else that'll work."
Meanwhile…
Team Rocket is seen successfully breaking into the treasure room
"Ta-da!" Meowth says.
"Wow!" Jessie happily says.
"That's some slick picking, Meowth," James says.
"Ruining that gym leader's rep will be a pleasure," Jessie says.
"Not to mention the mounds of money when we sell that treasure," James says.
Jessie says, "It's almost too easy."
What are we waiting for? Let's grab it!" Meowth says.
But before Jessie and Meowth can get near it….
"Not so fast!" James says.
"This is your idea, so what's the glitch?" Jessie asks.
James soon puts on a set of goggles.
"Well, I just have this feeling," James says.
He then puts on the goggles to show James a laser grid protecting the dragon fang.
"Aha. Just as I suspected, an infra-red security system," James says.
"Darn it," Jessie says, frustrated.
"So near to dat treasure, and yet so far away," Meowth says.
James chuckles, "I've prepared for this eventuality." and gets out a device, "Meet the Handy-Andy."
"A glove?" Jessie questions.
"The digits on this delightful dandy are dexterous enough to make the most challenging problems child's play," James says.
"I gotta hand it to you this time, James," Jessie says.
"Then let's quit the gabbin' and let's get grabbin'!" Meowth says.
"Stand by and observe," James says.
The mechanical hand starts moving, carefully maneuvering around the lasers.
"Steady. Up. Now down," Jessie says.
"Scuse me, Jessie?" Meowth questions.
"You're interrupting, Meowth," Jessie says,
"But yous can't see no infrared line," Meowth points out.
"This sort of thing happens when you're a natural born leader," Jessie says.
Soon, the hand reaches the fang.
"Steady, Andy. Steady," James says.
"I just had a thought," Jessie says, "What if you and Handy-Andy go to all this trouble and the box is filled with nothing but air?"
"We'd both break down and cry," James says.
"So, wouldn't you like to make sure now?" Jessie asks.
"Of course, but how?" James asks.
Jessie turns to the box, "Well, it wouldn't do any harm if we have one little peek."
"I guess. Even if the box is empty, I can use it to hold my baseball cards," James says.
As James talks, the hand grabs the box.
Back at Mew's battle…
"Go, Kingdra, Hydro Pump, now!" Clair calls out.
Kingdra fires the attack, and hits Sylveon.
"Sylveon!" Mew cries out.
Soon, Sylveon lands, but is still standing.
"That Kingdra is really tough," Tomo says.
"I know, Mew can't seem to bring it down. I know it will be tough, but I had no idea how tough," Brock says.
"Once they gain dragon type traits, your Pokemon will have abilities that you'd never even imagine. This would be your very last badge, Mew. I'm sure you knew it wouldn't be easy," Clair says.
Then she calls out, "Kingdra, finish it up with Hydro Pump!"
Kingdra charges in.
"Sylveon, dodge!" Mew calls out.
Sylveon then dodges the attack.
"Use, Dazzling Gleam!" Mew calls out.
Sylveon then uses the attack and strikes at Kingdra.
"Use Fairy Wind!" Mew calls out.
Then Sylveon uses Fairy Wind and it's a direct hit.
Meanwhile, back with Team Rocket, they find the dragon fang in the box.
"There it is! One pricy dragon fang!" James says.
"Beautiful. A dream come true," Jessie says.
"Yeah. And dis dream is about to become dat gym leader's woist nightmare!" Meowth says.
Wobbuffet comes bursting in and ends up causing Team Rocket to trip the alarm, bringing the battle inside the gym to a stop.
"What's that? What's making that buzzing sound?" Mew asks, shocked.
"Is that an alarm?" Jen asks, shocked.
Kaburagi calls out, "Hurry, Clair! I'm afraid there might be intruders in the treasure room!
"No! The Blackthorn dragon fang!" Clair cries out.
Everyone quickly rushes out of the gym.
"Let's go!" Clair says.
But they all quickly stop when they see Team Rocket flee the scene.
Team Rocket calls out, "Bye!"
Gotta run!" Meowth says.
Mew and the others cry out, "Team Rocket!"
Team Rocket quickly stops.
"Say! Nice to see you twerps again," Jessie says.
James holds out the box, "Check it out. We've already got what we came for so we won't be needing to mess with you this time."
Seeing the box, Clair is shocked, "Oh no! The dragon fang!"
"We've got to get it back right away!" Kaburagi says.
Team Rocket continues to hurry off with the Dragon Fang.
"Hey, look! Let's grab dat boat and leave em in our wake!" Meowth says.
Jessie and James cheer, "Yay!"
Team Rocket boards the boat.
"Off…" Jessie says.
"We go!" James says.
The three speed away.
Clair calls out, "Stop!"
"No!" Jessie refuses, "If you hadn't forced my Dratini to evolve, none of this would've been necessary!"
"But as it stands, we stand to soak some sucker for some serious cash!" Moewht says.
Wobbuffet then says, "Wobbuffet! (Millions!)
Jessie and Meowth call out, "So sayonara! And fangs a lot!"
"Don't be so sure about that!" Clair angrily says and calls out, "Dragonair, go!"
Dragonair comes out and Clair hops on.
"Okay, Dragonair, follow them!" Clair says.
"Miss Clair! Wait for me!" Kaburagi calls out as hops on as Dragonair moves forward.
"Come on! We have to go, too!" Mew says.
"How?" Jen and Molly ask.
"Go Dragonair!" Mew calls out.
Dragonair comes out.
Misty calls out, "Staryu and Politoed, you, too!"
Staryu and Politoed come out of the Pokeball.
"Brock, go ahead and jump on Staryu," Brock says.
"Uh, right," Brock replies.
Tomo then calls out, "Go Sealeo!"
Sealeo also comes out.
Mew climbs on Dragonair, "Alright Dragonair, follow Team Rocket!"
"This is a whole new experience," Brock sarcastically says.
However, Politoed just claps away.
"Politoed, this really isn't the time for applause," Misty says, annoyed, "So, go on! Let's go get Team Rocket!
Politoed leaps into the water.
A bit later, Jessie looks back and sees Mew, Clair, and the others following them.
"You won't get away from us!" Mew shouts.
"Give back that dragon fang!" Clair calls out.
"You know, dose twerps have gotten on my last noive!" Meowth angrily says.
Jessie turns to James "Hurry up, gramps! Put the petal to the metal!"
"But Jess, we're maxed out!" James says.
"Then you get out and push this tub if you have to!" Jessie girly says.
Soon, Meowth notices a cave, "Hey! Let's hightail it in dere! Least it's nice and dark!"
They see that the cave entrance is look like a dragon's mouth.
"Good thinking! Nobody would want to follow us into that dreadful place," Jessie says.
"Alrighty, here we go!" James says.
Team Rocket zooms into the cave.
Clair and Kaburagi say, shocked, "What?!"
"Miss Clair, they actually went straight into the Dragon's Den!" Kaburagi says.
"Is that a problem?" Brock asks.
"We'll see. Dragonair, follow them!" Clair says.
The group soon begins to follow Team Rocket into the cave.
"Wow! Check it out!" Mew says.
"So this is what dragons called home, huh?" Brock says.
"This is creepy. I don't think I like this," Misty says.
"I don't like it either. It's scary," Molly says.
Then Clair explains, "There may be nothing to be afraid of, but this den is incredibly complex. There's a whole maze of tunnels here said to be created by dragons hundreds of years ago. If we find our way out of here, we should be able to enter the Dragon's Holy Land where I once trained with Lance."
"What do you mean 'if' we get out of here?" Tomo asks.
Kaburagi then says, "Listen to me. The Dragon's Holy Land is a Pokémon's paradise! We cannot allow hooligans such as Team Rocket to defile it!"
Of course, I know that," Clair says.
Then Kaburagi says, "I pledge to you right here and now, I will get that dragon fang back! No matter what! Or at least, give it my best shot." and laughs.
Everyone stumbles in disbelief.
"Great, we get to hear more lame jokes," Misty says.
"Pika Pikachu," (Why? They stink.) Sparkle replies.
Togepi, however, finds the joke funny and laughs.
The group continue deeper into the cave
"Wow! I can't see a thing!" Brock says.
"Now, Dragonair, could you please give us some light?" Clair asks.
Dragonair does so. Mew's Dragonair decides to do the same.
"Okay, be careful everyone," Clair says.
Tomo notices, "Clair, there's a fork up ahead!"
"Wonder which one of them Team Rocket took," Mew says.
But Clair says, "Actually, that'll be easy for us to figure out."
"How?" Mew asks.
"Dragonair will be able to tell by the flow of water which way they went," Clair says.
Up ahead and down one of the split paths, Team Rocket drifts on.
"Not bad. We threw them completely off the trail!" James says.
"So long, suckers!" Meowth says.
Then Jessie asks, "So, James, how much money do you think we'll get for this fang thing?"
"I heard there are kooky collectors out there who'll pay big bucks for knickknacks like that! The trick is to find the kookiest. I'll find the buyer and take care of all negotiations," James says.
"Way to go, Jimmy!" Meowth cheers.
"I don't care about all of that bunk. Just remember we want top dollar," Jessie says.
"Before anyting can happen, wes gotta get out of dis cave," Meowth says.
"I forgot to grab a visitor's guidebook on the way in," James says.
Suddenly, they hear something.
"What's that sound?" Jessie asks.
What they discover is that the sound belonged to an oncoming waterfall.
Team Rocket cries out, "Look out, below!"
The boat goes over, lands on a rock and shatters, and Team Rocket gets swept towards the exit.
Meanwhile, the group continue following their trail.
"Uh oh. Another fork," Jen says.
Misty asks, "Dragonair, which way did Team Rocket go?"
Dragonair turns to the right.
"Yeah? You're saying they went to the right?" Clair says.
"You know what that means, Clair. If they get over those falls, they'll be in the Dragon's Holy Land!" Kaburagi says.
"We really have to hurry, then. I'm afraid of what Team Rocket will do down there," Mew says, worried.
"Meanwhile, Team Rocket finds themselves in a paradise populated by various Pokemon, among them a Dragonite, who wakes up when it hears Team Rocket.
Team Rocket cries out, "Looks like Team Rocket's…"
(But before they can finish, the Dragonite saves them.
"Or maybe not," James says.
Team Rocket looks up at their rescuer
"Hello there…" Jessie sheepishly says.
"Dragonite, sir," James says.
"I hope we didn't drop in at a bad time or nuttin," Meowth says.
But then Dragonite says, (Looks like you could use a little bit of help.)
"Uh, Meowth?" James questions.
"Translation, please?" Jessie asks.
"It's saying we look like we could use a little bit of help," Meowth translates.
Dragonite soon puts them down on the ground.
"Awfully kind of you and your timing's just impeccable," Jessie says, still baffled.
James looks around, "Look around you. This certainly is a tranquil place."
"Even someone like me could find inner peace here," Jessie says.
"Well, I just gotta say, Dragonite, you're a real stand up Pokemon," Meowth says.
Dragonite leans in closer to them, and gives a sniff.
James panics, "Hey! No offense, but, you are invading my space."
(I smell the dragon fang.) Dragonite says.
"Dragonite can smell dat dragon fang inside the box," Meowth panics.
James panics a bit.
"If that Dragonite turns on us then we are toast," James says.
" Okay, so let's use dis to our advantage," Meowth says, and olds up the dragon fang, "Hey dere, Dragonite. Perhaps you'd care to help us wit dis dragon fang. We was actually trying to protect it by running away from dese really bad people who want to steal it for demselves. Understand? Perhaps you'd care to help us out, would you please?"
Jessie gets the idea, "Ah! It's brilliant!"
"If you can't beat them, join them, I always say," James says.
"It's been an honest but long, hard road for us," Jessie says.
"It's not easy doing the right thing, but doing the right thing we must do, mustn't we?" James says.
Meowth continues, "We are weary of running, weary of all dose people who want to steal dis dragon fang."
"Oh, won't you please help us to protect it?" James asks.
"Please take care of those bad, mean people," Jessie says.
"If dose awful folks set one foot upon dis beautiful land, I shutter to tink what could happen here," Meowth says.
"All of these Pokemon. Doomed to a light of slavery and servitude with no hope of freedom!" Jessie says, dramatically.
"Showing no respect for the land!" James says.
"And chasing away da Pokemon!" Meowth says.
Then Jessie begs, "Oh, my dear, sweet Dragonite."
"You must do what is right!" James says.
"Fight da noble fight!" Meowth says.
Dragonite agrees.
"Does that mean you'll help? You'll join this worthy cause?" Jessie asks,
"The world will thank you!" James happily says.
"So when dose bad people get here, you give em what for and smack em into next week!" Meowth says.
Dragonite roars in agreement.
Meanwhile…
Mew and the others arrived in the Dragon's Holy Land.
"So this is the Dragon's Holy Land," Tomo says.
"What a beautiful place," Misty says.
"And it looks very peaceful," Mew says.
"If we don't find Team Rocket, it won't stay that way for long. Let's split up and track them down," Clair says.
"We'll find em, Clair," Mew says.
The group's Pokemon agrees to the idea.
Everyone splits up.
Mew along with Tomo, and Molly are walking around the river, when Meowth spots them.
"What's dat?" Meowth asks.
And Meowth sees the group, "It's part of da goody-good patrol! Dose wicked people!"
"Those bad apples! Those bent on destruction!" James says.
Then Jessie says, "Go forward, Dragonite!"
Dragonite promptly fires a Hyper Beam, the group's attention.
Kaburagi asks, "What do you think that was, Miss Clair?"
"Let's go, quickly!" Clair says.
Jessie and James cheers Two, four, six, eight! Who do we appreciate?! Dragonite! Dragonite!
Yeah! Yeah Yeah!" Meowth cheers.
Tomo questions, "Dragonite and Team Rocket?"
"Hate to say it, but I think that Hyper Beam was meant for us!" Brock says.
"But that would mean Dragonite's on Team Rocket's side!" Misty says.
"Say, dere, Dragonite. Just one more teensie Hyper Beam?" Meowth say.
Dragonite roars, but soon stops to see Molly. Dragonite is shocked to see it, and it's a flashback.
In Dagonnite's mind, it reveals Dragonite from many many years ago. This one has a trainer, and a daughter who looks a lot like Molly. All three seem very happy together. Sadly, many many years later, the trainer passed away, leaving the little girl who is grown up and Dragonite saddened.
Dragonite lets out a roar, picks up Team Rocket and begins to depart.
"But dey didn't go boom yet!" Mewoth calls out.
Molly begins to stand up, but Dragonite picks her up and whisk her away.
"Molly!" Tomo cries out.
"Help!" Molly cries out.
But Molly has been taken away.
"Oh no! It's helping them to get away! And it took Molly!" Mew cries out.
"What's going on with that Dragonite?!" Tomo asks.
Soon, the rest of the group appear.
"Everyone okay?" Clair asks.
"Yeah, we're fine," Mew says.
"Wish we could say the same for Dragonite," Molly says.
"I saw the whole thing," Clair says.
"That poor Dragonite belonged to the first Blackthorn gym leader and has never been the same since its trainer left it, "Kaburagi explains.
"Wow, that's so sad," Misty says.
"Maybe it's just lonely and that's why it joined up with Team Rocket," Brock says.
"Maybe, but why did it take Molly?" Jen asks.
"Hmm, it's possible that Dragonite sees his trainer's daughter," Clair says.
"Daughter?" Tomo questions.
"Yes. Dragonite's trainer had a daughter who they love very much. All three of them lived happily until one day, the trainer became one of the stars. Strangely enough, your friend Molly looks kind of like her," Kaburagi says.
"So maybe, Dragonite wants to relive that life with Molly," Molly says.
"Either way, we need to keep following them, and maybe we can help out Molly and that Dragonite, too," Mew sayd.
"Yes. And we've got no time to lose," Clair says.
Everyone soon hears a familiar roar and looks up into the sky to see something flying towards them.
"Something's coming this way," Tomo says.
"And it's coming fast!" Mew says.
"What do you think that thing could be?" Misty asks.
And so, as Mew and her friends prepare to locate Dragonite and Team Rocket, a mysterious and imposing figure draws steadily closer. Do they have reason to fear, or to cheer?
