'My time is drawing near. When I die, my soul will be taken by the Lords of Chaos and I will be made into one of them. When that happens, everything tying me down to this life, even my own daughter will be gone. Meaning the next time I see her or Hoagie…I'll kill them.'

The mere thought of that was enough to make her choke on a sob.

Kill the man who has been with her for so long?

Kill the child she would move the heavens and Earth for to keep her safe?

What sick world did she live in where she would become someone who would do something like that without a second thought?

Damn Klarion.

Damn Cipher.

Damn them both and everyone like them.

'I have one last card to play if it ever comes to that.' The elderly Nyx wrote in her journal. 'I took the precaution of using my Soul Magic one last time, sending myself into a time where I have already died and my chaos self roams the world. I have seen enough to know that the forces colliding will decide the fate of the world. If the good guys win, the Earth will be safe for about another decade before the next disaster rivaling the likes of Bill and Klarion rises up. If the bad guys win…Well, none of us will be around long enough to feel bad about it but I have no intention of letting them win.'

She couldn't let them win.

She won't.

'Those Chaos Lords may think they have everything figured out but even they can be fooled and if they can be fooled than their own rules can be bent.'

And that was the trump card she set in motion.

'I wish I could leave this with both of them, but I can only leave it with one. So I will put my trust in my own daughter, my sweet little Sky.'

Just the thought of her was enough to reduce Nyx to a sobbing mess for what she had done.

Living an entire life without her or Hoagie in it…

She almost wished she had stabbed herself in the chest with the very knife she used on Hoagie that night.

But she couldn't.

She had to do everything she could to prepare.

Preparing to fight for the sake of her family and ensuring the world didn't end with them on it.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

Pericles gulped, noting the aura of sheer anger radiating from his mistress even though her back was turned to him. "I did not know."

ZAP!

BOOM!

A bolt of purple lightning lashed out and blasted the wall next to Pericles who flinched but managed to remain composed.

"You are my familiar and you're telling me you didn't know my former human self-had a child of all things?" Nyx's voice was soft and slow, but anger could be heard in each word.

"It must have happened while your mortal self was still in the Pillow World with that human, Hoagie Gilligan." Pericles reasoned. "Of course, it is likely that Bill Cipher and Klarion were both aware of this and elected not to inform you."

"And call that an excuse?!" Nyx spun around, her eyes blazing with purple fire. "The point of me becoming a Chaos Lord was to leave behind all mortal attachments, including this so-called child!"

Pericles had to admit, the sight of his mistress so filled with rage was enough to terrify even him. "Nyx-"

"Do they think they were holding something over my head by keeping this secret from me?! Do they think I would hesitate to strike down this so-called daughter who has my blood…Blood that I no longer even have?!" With each step Nyx took, the ground on which she stepped was scorched by purple fire as she leaned down, glaring Pericles in the eyes. "I have no attachments that chain me down to my old life and I will not tolerate anyone believing they hold the upper hand over me."

"So…What will you do?" Pericles carefully asked, wary of angering his mistress any further and possibly incurring her wrath.

"We find the last pieces of the circle, open the gateway and gain the power to take down Cipher, Klarion, Sammael and everyone else." Nyx stood up, glaring at the cavern wall. "And then we plunge this entire reality into ever-lasting chaos with us at the top and the Magical Elders dealt with."

Pericles took a deep breath and sighed. "So, the plan is still going forward? What about Cipher and Klarion?"

"Of course, the plan is still going forward!" Nyx turned away again. "Let Cipher and Klarion have their little fun while we work on our own plans. We deliver those wedding guests and find the last pieces of the puzzle."

"And shoulder this daughter or apparent lover of yours interfere?" Pericles questioned.

Nyx's eyes glowed and another part of the cavern wall was scorched. "Then I'll fry them both myself."

It was a never-ending sight of the Grimm; any Huntsmen present or military forces that still remained huddled up to make their ground against the Horde. They were putting up a valiant effort, especially the moral boosted after seeing Major Glory taking on the King of the Grimm himself.

"Oh man! Did you see that? I almost thought he was out for good!" Rigby was in awe of seeing one of the top heroes in action. "I gotta get this on camera!"

"Yara's already on it, Rigby." Mordecai takes out a Lancer with his rifle in the mid section of the torso. "She was told to get some drones out to record anything unusual for Mayor Sebbon and those secret spies they work with.

Giving the unusual activities of the Grimm recently since the past summer, it wouldn't be a surprise that Global Justice was now on edge to deal with the growing threat, as well as the number of strange and new breeds of Grimm while the major Villains' numbers grew. They needed as much of the recording as they can to study the battles to hopefully learn any about them, especially Sammael's followers.

"Well, hopefully we will get some help. I dunno how long we can hold this up!" The Raccoon Mobian resumed his fight against the Grimm. "AH! Take this! And this!"

Ross recently cut down a Beringal from the upper chest, his Semblance greatly increased its timing to know what they were doing. Listening to the small Mobian shooting down the Grimm, he simply let out a sigh and shakes his head. From hearing the stories of the park staff and their crazy adventures and weirdness that happens often in the GrimmFall park, he was amazed none of them either left or gone insane.

With the situation changed, he hears a beeping sound from his communicator, maybe it was the others and completed their mission or something else came up. He was hoping they were alright. "Skips, Benson, cover me, I need to see if the others are fine."

"Sure thing!"

Answers the call and response and saw the name he knew. "This is Ross, how's it going in the mountains, Scotty.

"Good news, lad! We just escaped the explosion thanks to a speed runner, well, only those who are still stuck inside but safe from the blast. That's yellow skunk faced hootin golden gloved pansy is dealt with!" He could hear the boisterous laugh from the Scotsman about the scientist's downfall.

Hearing this from the Scotsman made the Lion Faunus smile. "That's one problem dealt with, did the others made it through?"

"Uh... nope, we had a wee snag with some villains and weird freaks on the way, but luckily a minor setback. Not to worry, I know Sebben wouldn't let them be stranded here forever and doubt even the Fallen themselves will."

It was something to be expected, but if there was some data they got or already working on a dimensional portal to make a safe return.

"Right, as long it's not working we might have more time to send them back with the data needed to warn their worlds." He said, but spotted some airships flying over them, and don't appear to be any military force he knew... except one. "I hope everyone had a decent rest, your about to have company."

"What is it? Grimm?"

"No, someone from Carne's forces heading your way." Ross warned them and if he knew about them from WHOOP's files, they were not to be messed with, as Hector Con Carne is one of the most influential members of the League of Super Criminals.

But it's a surprise to see them here in a middle of a war.

Could they be after the portal and Van Kleiss' technology?

"Is there anything we can do at all?" Nigel clenched his fists. "I don't want it to end like this…Not after everything we've been through. Can anything stop them?"

Abby could only answer with a despondent look on her face.

Neither of them noticed their shadows seemingly growing behind them…

Until it was too late.

"Did we really have to do this?"

"Nyx's orders, Molly."

"But are we now her gang just because she reassembled us and killed the guy who put our brains in these bodies?"

"It's just a job. Once the Weirdmaggeddon thing is over we'll go back to doing what we love. We still need to settle things with Briggs, Sebben and the Red Caps."

Nigel let out a soft groan from the rough feeling of being carried…in a bag. He opened his eyes and saw everything was dark.

'Oh no.' Nigel mentally face-palmed. 'Not again.'

Was this his third kidnapping?

Between being abducted by aliens and frozen by a mentally unstable Ice Queen, it was actually hard to keep track.

"We still got to gather all the folks on Nyx's list for this demon wedding of hers." A male metallic voice spoke very closely.

Wedding?

"Why so long? It's practically the end of the world."

End of the world?

Again?

'How many times does the world almost come to an end?' Nigel wondered to himself as he already witnessed or been through a few 'End of the World' events himself.

"Did you really have to do that?"

Pacifica could only stare up the cage holding Dipper, seeing the boy himself sitting with his back against the bars, having a blank look on his face, his skin totally pale.

"It's a bachelor party, kiddo. We party hard." Cipher chuckled, rubbing his pointed head as he sat up on his thrown. "Though I got to admit, that was one heck of a party. The kid looked fine for his age…Now he looks like he a decrepitude old monkey. But that's what a dose of reality will do to you. It's why we should never touch the stuff. It really waters down the hallucinations."

Pacifica sighed, rubbing her face. "Get him to his room and get him all ready. Let's get this wedding thing done while he's still breathing. Are you good for marrying us?"

"Good? Kid, I'm more than just good! I'm a professional!" Bill laughed. "And don't worry, the guests will be arriving…One way or another."

"Hey! Anyone here?!"

Archer and Lana were standing at the main entrance to Gravity Falls, seeing the town was completely deserted.

"They must have packed up and ran." Archer commented.

"Where?" Lana gestured all around them. "How could they get past all this craziness?"

"Well, what should I say, Lana? That they probably were all caught and eater by a bunch of demons?" Archer rolled his eyes. "That's a cheery thought."

"In what world is any of this cheery?"

"The part where we have to pretend to be cheery or we get mauled by Grimm. Does that answer your question?"

Lana rubbed her head. "This is why I didn't want Nyx and Tambry around you. You never take anything seriously."

"Oh, I'm serious. Serious enough that I would have parented the crap out of those two rather dumping them on someone else like you did." Archer glared at her. "You can act like you were doing them a favor all you want but you just didn't want the responsibility."

"And who are you to talk about responsibility?" Lana barked back.

"The fact that I'm here, looking for our kids right now!" Archer snapped.

"I have to give that to him. At the very least he showed up as soon as you finally told him about me and my sister."

Archer and Lana froze, both looking ahead to see a blaze of purple fire scorching the ground before that very fire grew and expanded, taking a human shape and then solidified into an actual human form.

"Tada!" Nyx in all her magical glory proclaimed, arms spread and miniature fireworks exploding around her.

Archer and Lana just stared as their…daughter now stood before them, flashing a dangerous grin in their direction.

"Really? Is that it? I was expecting something along the line of 'Oh, Nyx we're so sorry that we are such bad parents!' or 'Oh my, this cannot be our daughter, she's too amazing!'" Nyx faked swooned and chuckled.

Archer took a small step forward. "Nyx…Right?"

"That's my name, don't wear it out…Daddy." Nyx snapped a finger, creating another burst of miniature fireworks from her hand. "Got to say, I now see where I get most of the resemblance. I looked you up and I couldn't see what we had in common until I heard you chewing out Mommy-Dearest over how poor a parent she is."

"Look, Nyx." Archer began. "I know what you went through. I know you were dumped here because Lana wanted to take the easy way out instead of just telling me about you and your sister."

Lana threw a nasty glare at him, but he ignored her.

"You didn't have the chance to decide how you wanted your life to be and you didn't have a real family, or even a good foster one down here but it's not too late. As soon as I heard about you and your sister I came here, dragging mommy with me so she can make up for how badly she screwed up. Nyx, please let me have the chance to help you."

Nyx stared at him for a moment before she chuckled…and then started to laugh.

"HeheheheHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" Nyx threw her head back as she laughed for a full moment before she calmed down. "Well, nice to know if things had been different then daddy dearest would have cared for me."

"Nyx-"

"But allow me to put you at ease as none of that matters anymore." Nyx stated. "I am not the mortal Nyx anymore. I am now a Nyx, Lord or Lady of Chaos depending on your preference. I exist now to only bring my brand of chaos to the world and let's face it, the life you people have here is utterly meaningless. Just think about it, the world allows monsters like the Grimm to exist and even then, bad people go about their merry ways, making life for everyone else completely miserable. If anything, I am freer now then I was back as a mortal, and it was only after I died was I free.

"In fact, I believe I would be doing everyone else a favor by allowing them to die and be as free as I am now. This is my reward for all that I endured and if the entire world is destroyed by what's about to come then all the better. If anything, it's the world itself that deserves to be punished for allowing all this suffering to happen."

"Nyx, there is so much more than just pain and suffering, you have to know that." Archer said, reaching out a hand to Nyx. "Please. Let me have the chance to try and make things right. I let you down once, let me try and fix this here and now."

Nyx glanced at the hand before looking back up at Archer. "Well, at the very least you are persistent but let me be clear. Nyx Kane is gone. I am what was born from the ashes."

Archer just looked at her, a tear actually slipping from his eye down his cheek. "Nyx please…I'm sorry…For never being there."

Nyx, now surprisingly somber replied. "Nothing that happened to me was your fault, even your absence. You didn't kill Nyx Kane…" She suddenly smiled as her eyes regained their ethereal purple glow. "I did."

Nyx's shadow spread out, latching onto Archer and Lana's shadows and they were suddenly pulled down into the darkness gathering around them.

"The same way, you and the rest of the world will end." Nyx said as they vanished into the shadows. "Now to find the rest of the wedding guests."

The wedding would happen at sunset.

And then the real party would begin.
